Love! Love ! Love these ladies. I’ve gone here on multiple occasions for their tanning services where I always feel comfortable and get a gorgeous , lasting tan. But I just recently went for a brow lamination and let me tell you they look fantastic and it’s definitely made it easier to just get out of bed and start my day because I feel so great about how my I look! Much love for sugar and bronze.

Madelyn really went the extra mile, and she's always so much fun to talk to. My friends have had bad experiences with waxing, where they’ve even had to stop in the middle of the session. That’s never happened to me with sugaring at Sugar and Bronze. The owner, Jarratt, is also very friendly and great at what she does. I got a spray tan here that looked very subtle, considering how pale I am.

Sugar and bronze was one of the first places I visited when I decided to make the transition over from getting waxed. My very first experience was so personal that I wouldn't trade it for anything. The staff is always professional and courteous beyond any other place I have ever been. Being with Becca since she was a student there has allowed me to see the growth and passion that not only she has for her job but for her life as well and that just makes the experience so much more when someone is actually passionate about something that they do. When I had an issue with scheduling the owner personally took it upon herself to fix my issue and made sure I was taken care of. We the people need to support places like this and keep them thriving because businesses come and go but GREAT teams within them are hard to find. THANK YOU FOR ALL THAT YOU DO AND KEEP UP THE AMAZING WORK.

I’ve been a patron for years with some positive and some negative experiences. I get sugared there and while I find sometimes large areas are missed, for the most part I enjoy the 4-6 week discount so I don’t complain much. Be warned: the cancellation policy is strict! Even if something comes up and you reschedule (sometimes for the next day) they charge you 50% of the price on top of the rescheduled service’s full price. It’s burned me so many times when I have an unexpected meeting or issue pop up that I think it’s worth it to go somewhere where you don’t get charged $40+ for rescheduling.

I highly recommend Sugar and Bronze! Honestly, the best tan I have ever gotten. I got the express or rapid, and the color came out beautiful after 4 hours! Kaleigh was so sweet and made me feel comfortable! Next time I am in Baton Rouge for an event, I will definitely be calling to schedule my tan!!

Amazing experience!! I was a little nervous at first because this was my first time in almost 4 years being spray tanned by an actual person instead of machine, but Heather was absolutely FANTASTIC!! She made me feel so comfortable, and I absolutely LOVE the way my tan turned out! She also tinted my eyebrows and lashes, and I'm absolutely in love with those as well! The atmosphere is super chill and relaxing, and the decor is so cute! I'll definitely be going back, as well as recommending this place to my friends!!

Love this place I been going here for several months!! but they are not fair with their policy going on about rescheduling an appointment. I rescheduled my appointment now all of sudden the manager said my card would be charged half of the price but the issue is I rescheduled several times and never had that problem. I support this business every month. My appointment was at 2:30 and I rescheduled the appointment at 1:03. She said it isn’t enough time but that is more than enough time to fill in that spot. This business should reconsider changing their policy because of emergencies.

Jarrett runs an incredible team on top of being one of the only teachers for sugaring in the state of Louisiana. I am in love with this place! I never had sugaring done and it was one of the best experiences. I used conventional wax for years and always dreaded getting my eyebrows or anything else done for that matter. The atmosphere is great and feels so clean and renewing. Hannah took care of me while making sure I was comfortable. I won't lie, I have some tender spots but she made adjustments when I said the sugaring was hurting me; it hurt a lot less after that. Seriously, this place is the best place to get any hair removal done. Seriously thinking about getting a little bronze the next time I go. Wig, snatched. (But not because of the sugaring... It was because I was blown away by the service and quality)

I've been coming here for about 3-4 months now and I love it! The place is chic and the vibes are welcoming. They greet you upon walking through the door. They stick to their scheduled times, get you in/out. Lana is awesome! She was very nice and worked a miracle on my eyebrows, lol! They are friendly and their website is user-friendly. I usually schedule online and then sync the appt to my google calendar. The experience is muuuuch better than waxing and I'm disappointed that I didn't know about this sooner. Clean rooms and common areas ALWAYS clean and decorated beautifully! Easy booking. I can plan my bookings around events and they make sure everything goes smoothly. I was nervous about a spray tan and looking like an “Oompa Loompa” but I got the wedding tan look and it was perfect for my pasty white complexion. I’ve got a beach wedding to attend in October and I’ve already booked my spray tan. With COVID-19 rules everything runs smoothly. Enjoy the conversation with my esthetician, who is like a friend I catch up with ever 5 weeks or so.

I had been getting spray tans at various locations around town, until Shannon Acosta told me about Sugar and Bronze. I will literally never go anywhere else now. Super affordable, awesome staff, and perfect tans every time. I have been about 5 times this year and had a different girl spray me every time - each time was perfect. A good bronzer color, natural looking, doesnt feel sticky, and I never have those awful orange circles around my hands like I get at other places. Definitely the best spot in town👌🏼

I really want to give them 4 even 5 stars because they are all very nice and I’ve been sugared by Jarratt before and that was a wonderful experience. However, my spray tan was terrible. Getting the actual tan was normal no problems, it’s the actual tan itself. I chose this place because of all the good spray tan reviews so I’m a little annoyed at how the spray tan turned out. I did everything you’re supposed to do before getting a spray tan and carefully followed aftercare instructions but after showering 24 hours later my skin was two different colors. You can see the spray tan color and my normal skin color in patches all over me. Certain parts of me are my skin tone and others are the spray tan which is light in some places and dark in others. I look like I have about 4 different skin tones. My arms are orange and my legs are a Sunkissed pale. I’m embarrassed to look like this but what can you do? My spray tan was also washed off my face after only washing it with water 24 hours later. I’m not trying to leave a nasty review I just want to be honest and share my experience. I believe that they have done really nice spray tans but mine is not one of those. maybe it depends on who does yours I’m not sure but this was my experience. I definitely recommend going there for sugaring but I probably won’t go again for a spray tan.

Triumph. That is the emotion I felt as I conquered my first back “sugaring.” I strode into Sugar and Bronze to have the experts remove my forever sweater from my back region. It’s getting warmer and this Dad Bod needs to be smooth as a bowling ball on a freshly waxed lane. Like Sirens of Greek mythology, I was greeted by a lovely staff who led me with smiles to my “doom.” The treatment room was warm and inviting. Intoxicating aromas billowed through the air. What was that smell? Essential oils? cookie cake? Zeus’ beard? One will never know. I show the ladies the target and go over the mission with the expert. Chuck Norris in Delta Force is the only description you could give to the tactical efficacy of which hair was removed from my body. While fairly painful (my manscaping was more of a forest scape), the seasoned experts made me feel as if I was a veteran at this. Cool, comfortable, collected. They were caring and mindful of my newness. We laughed, we cried (well, I cried), we achieved. With a silky smooth new body, I collected my things, and headed to face the day. Was that a bit more swag in my step, or was it being 10 lbs lighter of back hair? Only God knows. 10 out of 10 would recommend this place. Thank you to the ladies of Sugar And Bronze for giving me my groove back.

Sugar & bronze is by far the best place in Baton Rouge for waxing and spray tans! I can honestly say that since Jarratt began to do my brazilians, and tans, I've never been to anyone else in well over a year. The first in Baton Rouge to be certified in sugaring, she's definitely mastered the art...and believe me, there's a ton of skill required! For anyone really looking for someone experienced who you can trust, definitely look no further. She's an educator for the brand she uses also, so she's at the top of her game. Her attention to detail is truly unmatched and she has a gift for making even the most timid feel very comfortable in her salon.
