I was visiting NOLA and very apprehensive about going especially after reading reviews. After I read them, I strongly considered canceling my appointment. But I’m so glad I didn’t!! The manager greeted me (Megan I think) and the other young lady was nice too! My wax specialist was Raven and she was amazing!!! The was wasn’t too hot & it wasn’t terribly painful! She also gave suggestions for skin care in between waxes. Whenever I come back and in need of a wax, I’m booking with Raven!!

Typically I have a great experience. For the most part my water was good. The only complaint is that she still got my hairline a little bit and I told her in advance to be sure not to get it. Other than that she was good.

I've gotten a wax from Sheba since 10/17/2021 and She was very great for my first time. I had a Brazilian and armpit Wax and as afraid as I was, She made the situation comfortable and well worth it. I came in crying afraid of getting hurt, to come out Laughing because it was quick and easy. She distracted me the whole time while the services was done. I booked my appointment for 9am at 7:45am and was able to get in with no problem. I’ve been on the hunt for a good esthetician since I moved 8 months ago and Ireland was by far the best I’ve visited at EWC since March. Very nice, quick service, used tweezers (up until this point she was the only person that offered and used them). Will def go back to this location to see Ireland.

I have had a good experience every time I have been. I have mostly seen Kierstin. Waxing is not the most comfortable thing, but she makes it as close to “a pleasure” as you can get. She does a great job and has a great personality to match, which is a great distraction from, well, the “ouch” of waxing itself!

Tyereaun was so wonderful. As a plus size woman, it can be uncomfortable when a waxer acts as if they can’t handle a big body. There was no discomfort (beyond the purpose of being there), and keeping a basic conversation made the appointment go by so much quicker. I can’t speak on the other staff, so if you take my review to heart, go with Ty.

New Orleans is by far my best location and it’s all because of Jay; she’s the best with her warm welcome, knowledgeable on what I need and should get, and professionalism. This place was sooooo good! I’m from Dallas and was just visiting New Orleans for my birthday. This was my first time at a European Wax Center but my second time getting a Brazilian wax, and it was wonderful. David at the front desk was so sweet and he talked to me like I was his best friend. Not only did he educate me on the products before I got my wax but he also wrote down a bunch of good places for me to visit while I’m down here. Alexandra was my wax specialist and she was super gentle and talked to me about everything she was using. She was so fast, I think I was back there for 10 minutes and I was done. Last week I came in to get my first Brazilian wax with the European Wax Center and I felt that it was extremely important that I leave this review. My first waxing experience was last year ( with a smaller local business) and it was not a very good one. It left me discouraged and uncomfortable with the idea of waxing and I was sure I would never do it again. I was very nervous when I met Ms. Lawrianne but the moment I lay down for my wax everything changed. She was very reassuring after I shared the story of my first experience. She was a very warm and welcoming therapist who changed my mindset and I am very happy she was able to do so. We talked and laughed like friends which made the experience more enjoyable and intimate for me. She created an environment that no training could provide! I don't usually write reviews, but I wanted to save someone else some trouble. The wax and customer service were good, it was quick and efficient and I have zero issue with that side of things. Unfortunately, the products that were put on my freshly waxed skin (not sure if it was the highlighter or skin soother, etc.) has made me break out all along my eyebrow line. I would say that I have moderately sensitive skin, nothing crazy. My biggest complaint is that I wasn't asked ahead of time if I wanted to use the highlighter and we didn't go over the three or four other products that she used on my brows after the wax. It was just a lot and clearly my skin couldn't handle it. I have been getting waxed for years at other salons but this is the first time I had trouble. I'll not be going back and I'm still dealing with trying to repair my skin.

The turnover is pretty high in general with pretty much any European Wax Center location, but the one on Freret consistently has good waxers so even though it's out of the way I go there. The front desk is always really friendly, even if you're dumb and reschedule a hundred times before going in. As of right now I'm seeing Megan regularly, she is awesome!

Just got my underarms done here. Beautiful, clean place with very kind employees. Total privacy as each room has walls and doors; no curtains or room dividers like I've seen in some centers. Mandy, the store manager welcomed me, explained everything, and told me about their product line. The service itself was quick (about 20 minutes) and virtually painless - thank you, Trameka! They use a hard wax formula so no paper is required. Only giving four stars because they do the most when it comes to selling. As soon as you finish your wax, the specialist will tell you which products you "need" and put them right up by the counter assuming you're just going to buy them. The girl at the desk will then begin to ring them up while Mandy tells you more about their subscription plan for a number of waxes. I didn't appreciate this. There were also some visible hairs left on my underarms, but Mandy explained that that is normal and a result of those hairs not being long enough for the wax to cling onto.

Today I visited the Freret st location and Tasheba C. changed my whole perspective on European wax. She is good at what she does and she is an amazing person.
