I came here for a Brazilian sugar wax (first timer) after being recommended by one of my friends who is a regular here. They have a nice bathroom with plenty of feminine products and hygienic wipes for you to use complementary! I had Monica as my waxer and they were amazing. Super informative, easy to talk to, and did a great job overall. They made me feel so comfortable and checked in on me through the whole process. Definitely recommend this place.

This is a lovely spa! I’ve gotten two eye lash perms, a facial and bikini wax with Elyse and I can’t speak more highly of her or the spa. Wax was relatively painless and my eyelashes looked like extensions. Everyone is incredibly friendly and down to earth!!

I’ve gotten facials from Elyse a few times and can’t wait to go back! I like that she catered it to my skin care needs. I have a lot of flakiness and she got rid of all of it. Also, she’s got a mask that smells like brownie batter and it’s amazing. Will be scheduling again soon :)

Update, 10/24/2022: I have visited Raven Beauty Bar again for a 90 minute massage, this time with Maria. She did an amazing job of working out almost a year's worth of knots from my shoulders and low back. She was very sweet and had great recommendations for home to help with some of my chronic pains. I could tell she was very thoughtful in her massage, and checked on me a few times to be sure the pressure was okay. It hurt, but in the BEST way. I went home feeling like a noodle, and woke up today feeling like my body was finally relieved of so much pent up pain. THANK YOU, Maria, for such a great service! I can't wait to come back again! :) January 2022: Booked an appointment with Chelsea for a 60 minute massage after weeks of headaches and tension in my back and neck. The salon is very nice and alt trendy on the inside. Chelsea made me feel immediately comfortable, asking what areas I'd like to focus on and if I had any health issues she should be aware of before we got started. We chatted a bit at the beginning of my massage and she led me through some deep breathing to get very relaxed. The massage room was very clean and Chelsea had some quiet Lo-Fi going (my favorite!) to set the relaxing mood. She focused on the areas that I was most concerned with while also giving me a full body massage that I desperately needed. She also used a neutral/unscented body oil, so while I don't have any skin sensitivities, I'm sure that is a perk for those who do. She asked before using another (scented) CBD oil to try and help relieve some of the tension in the base of my neck. The whole experience was relaxing and I felt like I was floating on a cloud afterwards. The pricing was fair for the amount of work that Chelsea puts in. I have already scheduled my second appointment and I really look forward to going back. TL;DR - Chelsea is a professional, friendly, experienced, and considerate massage therapist. Clean and comfortable environment to unwind and work on taking care of yourself. Excellent experience!

Raven Beauty Bar is unlike any other salon I’ve been to. As soon as you walk in you feel welcome and comfortable. I went in to get some body work done by Chelsea. Let me tell you, it was the most magical, relaxing and soothing massage I’ve ever received. She listens to your concerns, respects your boundaries and thoroughly explains what she is going to do and the expected outcome. I walked in with terrible knots in my back and walked out feeling a hundred times better. Will definitely be going back and would recommend her to anyone.

Lintu got me in very last minute, she was so quick, nearly pain-free and made my appointment comfortable. I was so excited to find someone in Nashville who sugars - the true, REAL way it should be done. Coming from a reputable sugaring place in LA, it was very hard to find someone in Nashville who did this & did it well. It's hard to find someone who makes any hair removal process manageable (as far as pain goes). Lintu was very thorough in explaining prep & post care for my session, passionate about what she does and very educational throughout the process. She's going to be my new sugar-gal for sure!! :)

Love this place, excellent prices and service right in East Nashville. I had a the keratin lash lift and tint and my eyebrows shaped then immediately made an appt to get my legs sugared. Both appts were great and everyone was professional. I still cannot get over how great the sugaring went. I have very sensitive skin, and I had almost no redness and no swelling. It wasn’t even painful. I’m about to be a regular for sure.

I went to Xarah for reiki and she is absolutely amazing. It was my first time trying reiki and she was very kind and made me feel extremely comfortable. Her energy is so welcoming and kind. The session was very relaxing and I felt amazing after. I can tell a difference in my anxiety just after 1 session. She helped me realize that I had some blockages that need to be cleared and I truly believe it has helped me understand some of the problems I’ve been having Just meeting Xarah was a great experience. If you want to try something new to add to your self care regimen or are looking for a reiki master in the area you should book with Xarah. You will not be disappointed.

Don't we all have some trepidation when we go to a new stylist for the first time? You will let go of that within 30 seconds of meeting Xarah. She saved me from a year and a half of diy pandemic cuts and gave me perhaps the best cut ever! I have a very short textured cut that requires courage, skill, patience and an eye for detail. She has an abundant supply of all of those and a great sense of humor and style. Xarah is a great stylist and a delightful human who will take excellent care of you and your hair style. Xarah is not only a great stylist for both men and women, but engaging company during the haircut adventure. In addition, Raven's staff adhere to Covid precautions, which is a big deal as another variant surges. Going forward, Raven's is my hair cut place and Xarah is my cutter.
