I had such a lovely first time experience at Skin Sense! Marion & her assistant are so warm and inviting. The overall facial was very good! She customizes her facials to your skin and what it needs. I feel like a lot of places in LA can easily overwhelm the skin by doing too much! That wasn't the case with Marion. She's so knowledgeable & made my facial experience very relaxing. I love the products she used and she gives you samples to try at home. I already booked my next appointment with her and I'm excited to make this a consistent healthy habit of mine. I highly recommend visiting her if you're looking to get an amazing facial by someone that definitely knows her stuff! My skin is GLOWING :)

As soon as you enter you are welcomed by Marion or Catherine. The soft music and relaxing atmosphere make a perfect ambiance for a self-care day. I got a facial with Marion. I think these ladies are quite nice but I couldn't rate it 5 stars because I think people should be able to select whichever facial they want serviced. I paid $140 for a facial that wasn't necessarily what I was looking for. A month prior I got an extensive facial at a 5 star resort in Hawaii for the same price. The facial I wanted from Skin Sense wasn't something they would offer me because the esthetician said I needed this basic facial to cleanse the skin first before getting the deeper cleanse with the AHA/BHA Treatment which I would have to come back for in a few weeks. If I had known this before committing my time I would have reconsidered going somewhere that would offer what I was looking for. Just something to be aware of.

Wonderful overall experience, from the interior design of the environment, the quality of the treatment and the end result of my facial far exceeded my expectations. I have been going to Skin Sense for over 10 years. I travel extensively for work for months at a time and so sometimes have to go elsewhere, but very few places measure up to Skin Sense. The entire staff is beyond lovely. Catherine, often at the reception desk, makes all feel welcome and relaxed immediately upon arrival. Marion, the owner, always takes great care and consideration into customizing each and every facial. She takes detailed notes that she refers to upon every visit so as best to see how your skin has fared between visits and to make recommendations. Also, I don't trust anyone else to do my brow waxing. I consistently receive great compliments on how my skin looks once I've been to Marion/ Skin Sense. You will never be pressured to buy products, but I do choose to purchase many of mine here due to the great results. The prices are very reasonable and the products and treatments of very high quality. I can't recommend Skin Sense highly enough!

She took the time to not only understand my skin concerns, but also ran through all the products I use and educated me on what I could skip, potential new products I may want to introduce, even diet and environmental tips for my skin. My facial was relaxing but also thorough, my skin was so bright afterwards I booked a follow up facial for next month before I left!

Highly recommend! My go to for facials for the last 6+ years. Nancy is fantastic and caters each facial to your specific skin and current needs. She offers as much advice on skin care routine and products as you’re interested in, she’s extremely knowledgeable. She has a fantastic memory (she’ll notice if my skin is drier or has more freckles then the last visit). They are not pushy at all with their own products, I do love a couple of the products they sell and found it has made a difference in my skin with regular use. I always leave feeling relaxed and glowing. They also offer gift certificates which are wonderful and always at the top of my holiday/birthday wish list.

A few days ago when I went to Marion at SkinSense for my facial, I have had a few stressful weeks and was extremely tired, achy neck and shoulders, and my skin was looking really dull. After a warm welcome, Marion gave me an extra special neck, shoulder and arm massage, followed by a customized facial. I came out completely relaxed, with radiant skin.
