Honestly if you have never had a wax I truly recommend it this place does all areas of the body. I have had wax’s regularly for awhile now and recently relocated to the GR area, trying the European Wax center was a new experience for me. This experience was excellent and it was due to the diligent and great work of their new waxer and esthetician Alexia! Beginning with having great conversations and really feeling Alexias interest in waxing and beauty, to her confident hand with waxing. Alexia has a special touch that made my eyebrows look better then ever, and my under arms the smoothest they have been in my waxing experience! I would highly recommended her services, and will be visiting with Alexia again!

My first wax was also free which was great and I got referral cards to give to my friends so I can earn $10 off. Definitely getting any future waxes done here by Erika.

Love love love it here! I’ve had some *ROUGH* experiences with waxing at different shops and this made up for all of it. I went from having very long, excruciating sessions at other places to quick and easy ones here. It’s hard to get back on the horse when you’ve had so many bad experiences but I couldn’t be more grateful to the women at EWC for making me feel comfortable and safe when in such a vulnerable state (lol). I see Erica there and she is amazing. But all the employees are so kind and welcoming! 10/10 would recommend.

Got waxed here a while back, the girls were great and did a great job!! My best experience with EWC was here, although other experiences have been great, too. I got waxed and picked up tanning products and slow growing/in-grown hair products, which all worked great. Love it there

Our initial consultation was very direct and clear with what i could expect from the experience while she helped me to select services that were appropriate to my needs. She has a very gentle & thorough technique that made the process very smooth & effective, as well as efficient. She also made sure to point me in the direction of excellent aftercare products, at WONDERFUL prices, to match the verbal instructions she gave me to follow after leaving. They even carry brow makeup! I was so pleasantly surprised! I seriously can not recommend her skills highly enough! Results are extraordinary, experience is relaxing like no other, and the prices are spectacular. I got a Brazilian wax service, my underams waxed, and my lower legs waxed, all felt so smooth and lush when she was finished!! You really cant go wrong booking with her!

I went to EWC for the first time today and I will be going every single time now. Jourdain (?) was so welcoming and cheerful when I walked in. There were a few other customers in there also and she was just as pleasant with them. I had Erika as my waxer today and I suggest her 10/10. She explained every step she was doing through the whole process and made me feel so comfortable and happy. I am so happy with the way I was treated today, I felt like I was so welcomed. 10/10 suggest EWC but especially Erika as she is outstanding and a ray of sunshine! Thanks girls!

I had the most AMAZING experience at the European wax center in Grand Rapids. To start. The receptionists were so sweet, and so friendly, and welcomed me the second I walked in. The Estheticians that did my Brazilian wax was 100/100 her name was Cory. I would recommend her to anyone getting their first wax, or anyone else. She answered any and every question I had, and me being 8 and a half months pregnant, she was super patient with me and ALWAYS asked if I was doing okay. She definitely cared and it was really nice! I just got waxed for my first time with EWC. I was very nervous and didn't know what to expect as I had never had a professional wax before. Mya made my experience a wonderful one! She was very professional and talked the whole time which really helped take my mind off the pain. I got my bikini and armpits done. They also do free touch-ups within the first 5 days which is awesome because your first couple of waxes you might have some stubborn hairs. All the ladies working were very friendly and I look forward to my next appointment. Would definitely recommend to a friend!!

Very simple straightforward service. You need to know what you want done and have experience getting it done. Not very detailed or upscale as the place is named European wax center. From the first call to leaving the place, I received no introduction at any point. Very bleh kinda service upfront. The tech was very skilled in what she was doing. Painless even.. just very plain service. I might go in once more to see if it was the end of day service or their common practice.

I love this place! I have been coming here for almost 7 months for Brazilian and leg waxes. At first I didn’t know which esthetician I “clicked” best with so I booked with different ones to get a feel for who I preferred to do my waxes. Although all the estheticians were good, I think Hannah is the best. For the past four or five sessions, I have been booking with Hannah because of how detail oriented and professional she is! I recommend her for anyone who is nervous about having an appointment—she’s so great at what she does and she’s super easy to chat with! That aside, EWC has been very accommodating, they have a great student discount and wax pass deal. The facility is really clean and they follow all covid guidelines regarding cleanliness and avoiding transmission. I’m definitely going to be a longtime customer.

The three stars are because the staff is super nice and understanding. So I went in for my first wax ever! I had been talking myself into it for about a month or so, so I definitely had enough hair to wax. So fast forward the day is here. I get my wax and she says “there’s just a few more hair mind if I tweeze them?” I didn’t mind because the goal was to have a bald kitty so I said “sure!” Anyway I get home and I keep rubbing it and I feel hair still I’m thinking maybe it’s just left over hairs that need to be washed off. I shower and I still feel furry. So I give it a full day and the following day I decide during my shower to bring out old faithful (my razor) and go over a small part just to see if I’m delusional... I kid you not the whole razor has hair in it like she didn’t wax the part of kitty that’s closer to my bum. I’m so upset because for these results I could’ve stuck with old faithful. Not to mention I tipped her very well for such a not ideal result. Oh well, I suppose I gave waxing a try and now I’ll stick with shaving.

I have been to a few different EWCs, San Diego, Chicago, and now GR. While I’ve enjoyed my experiences at all locations GR is by far my favorite location.The ladies here are nothing shy of amazing. I seen Angelina for my wax and I expressed some concern to her about getting the Brazilian(not my first one either)and why, she listened and reassured me she would make the experience as painless as possible and she did! Angelina is the GOAT! The ladies in the front were just a hoot as well. I also appreciate that no one pushed anything on me as far as purchasing products or packages. But rather provided me with info to take and look over. The ladies also provided me with info for my up and coming trip to New Orleans! Lol, I look forward to catching up with them in 4 weeks. :)

If you have been to places that use strip wax, you need to try EWC. I can not get over how little it hurt and that there is barely any redness or puffiness. Ripping a bandaid off is more painful. Erika was very professional, answered all of my questions and has a very light hand. I won't go anywhere else now.
