I was really nervous for my appointment since it’s my first time getting a Brazilian wax but once I started talking to Rebecca, I was comfortable. She was super friendly and knowledgeable! She talked to me through the whole session which kept me distracted from getting the hair waxed off. I am very pleased with the experience and the results! She recommended an aftercare routine and a couple products which has helped tremendously! I’ll definitely be coming back!

Rebecca is an absolute sweetheart and I'm so happy I chose to see her for my first Brazilian wax. I have severe social anxiety, so this experience was outside my comfort zone. Thankfully, Rebecca was kind, funny and made sure I was comfortable throughout the appointment. Upon me mentioning my sensory issues, she also made it clear that if I became over stimulated, to just let her know and we could pause or stop. She also did wonderful at explaining everything from the types of wax used, what areas I may want to expect more pain in, to after care instructions and product recommendations. Overall, she made what I expected to be a painful and awkward appointment into something that truly just felt like self care.

I was a few minutes late to my appointment, Rebecca was super nice when she greeted me and I did apologize for being late and she was really nice about it and she got me in the room and told me what I needed to do and then left the room to give me privacy (I got a Brazilian). She came back in and it was my first time getting one and she explained to me what I needed to know and gave me some tips and then she got to waxing and I thought it was super cool of her to tell me what she was going to do before she did it and I love the results and I will definitely be back. I made another appointment before I left!

This was my first time getting waxed. I got a full leg wax as well as a Brazilian wax. I was super impressed with prices as well as all of the good reviews this place had on Google. Ultimately that was why I chose this location. I definitely had high expectations due to the reviews. I was not disappointed. The place was very clean, and all staff were very friendly. Rebecca made my experience absolutely wonderful. There was very little pain and she was done super quick. I was super happy with the results. She was very precise with hair removal. I didn't see any hair leftover. I've already booked my next appointment in 5 weeks with her when I paid for the services. I will definitely be a continued customer and will recommend this place and Rebecca to all my friends and family! 10 out of 10 from me! ♡

By far the best experience I've had. It's not a comfortable or fun event but Cera was friendly and talkative and made me feel as comfortable as could be in such a situation. Personally, I have never had a wax before. So to say I was a bit nervous going in for the first time is an understatement. However, the moment I stepped through the door I was greeted with a bright and clean environment. The receptionist was so nice and we got paperwork done real fast. I got a full leg + Bikini wax along with an underarm wax. Katie, my waxer, was so kind and professional during the entire experience. She made me feel at ease, and my legs have never been smoother! I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a wax!

I've been to several people at Metrowaxx in all locations over the last 2 years for a wax. Everyone at some point misses a patch. But Cera always misses the outer thighs. Every time. I've had her come back in and redo it, and the next time she misses it again (like she did again today). I hate having to go out, call them back in, have them redo it. It's annoying; I just reflect it in my tip instead. They schedule 1.5 hours for full leg, Brazilian, and underarms. Half the time they speed through it and I'm out in 45mins (again what happened today with Cera). No wonder they miss stuff; they're speeding through it too fast. She even mentioned going somewhere for the weekend as soon as she was done. Great, but how about you still do a decent job in the time my appt is scheduled for before racing out? Rebecca does a decent job, but I won't be going to Cera again.

Definitely was impressed the moment I walked in. The areas were clean, and everyone was very professional. I went in 5/19/20 for an appointment with Katie at 6:30p. I forgot to ask the lovely lady's name who was at the desk who helped me with my new client paperwork. She was such a joy to talk to!! :) As for Katie - just wow! She made the entire experience very positive! Not only did she make it "not-awkward" (let's be real - brazilian wax's are in some intimate places!), but it was nice talking to her and she made me feel at ease and comfortable. The pain was tolerable, and Katie made sure to keep me in the loop on what might hurt a little more being in sensitive areas. She was fast, efficient, and quality was TOP-NOTCH. Extremely satisfied and happy with my experience here. :)

The Staff is wonderful. I am from out of state and there were no open slots online for the day. I called and left a message to see if they could squeeze me in. They called back within the hour and made it possible for me to come in. Becky and Katie were very friendly and made me feel very welcome. And even though I was the last client of the day no one was rushing to leave, Katie made sure I was satisfied with the outcome. I would definitely be a regular customer if I was local. And if I'm ever in town again and need a wax, this would be the only place I'd go to.

I’ve seen it time and time again and can not recommend her enough. MetroWaxx so far has really impressed me. The Southside location is my fave because of the design (simple and chic and more open like a loft style), but the Johnston location is cute too (just quite a bit smaller). The owner is this petite dynamo of a woman who is so funny and just as chill as Rebecca. I can’t tell if I want to have a cocktail with her or for her to be my mom - seriously! (Cocktails with both of them, actually, would be fun ✌🏼) Sweetest woman ever and you can immediately tell she truly cares about her business and her staff. The genuine care is there, and *that’s* why I prefer to shop local. Extra bonus when local is incredibly skilled and reasonably priced.
