I have been to this Waxxspot several times in the last two years and,yesterday was first time my eye brows area had visual deep cuts . I have been getting my brows wax over 15 yrs ,and never had cuts after,this is definitely amateur work vs professional. I went back up to shop today, and was informed Mgmr Alyssa would be calling me with my concerns on Aubree services on my brows.

Going on vacation so I decided to get my first Brazilian & half leg wax at Waxxpot Gahanna. Lexxus rocks. She's very professional, and walked me through the whole process. Also, she's a super fun person to talk to! My appointment went by pretty quick and she was really thorough, plucking the smaller hairs that couldn't be pulled by the wax. 10/10, def going to recommend her to all my friends in the Columbus area. Super nice people at the front desk too!

I’ve been here about 3-4 times and each time by experience was the bomb, no hair was left behind! But this time in particular I felt like my NORMAL waxer was off and she rushed the process, when I got home I had to tweeze hair and even use my trimmer to remove hair that was left behind. When I pay $60 for a service I feel like a check should of been done, she should of went over it again like she normally do, I’m not coming back after this.

I was able to take advantage of the training for Brazilian waxes today. I was so impressed with the two ladies who helped me and their trainer. I was not sure what to expect. This is my second time going to the waxxpot for a Brazilian wax, and while the aesthetician was a sweet girl, I came home and still had wax on me (a large amount, enough to seal me shut) along with enough hair to have to shave afterwards. Because I live about 30 min from the closest location to me, I am not interested in returning to have this corrected, as it is the second time this happened. Also, when I called in to inform them, I was placed on hold while the receptionist finished up her phone call regarding personal issues. (. I was not on mute or hold by the way, I heard her entire conversation). Hopefully my experience was the results of an off night, but I won’t be returning and felt this was worthy enough for a review, as this is only my second time there, ever.

I went yesterday for my first Brazilian wax in years, my wax specialist was Molly! I absolutely loved her she had a bright personality and good conversation that kept me distracted the entire time. If you are a first time wax lady I'd refer you to Molly. She'll keep you distracted and more importantly she is quick but detailed. I love how smooth everything is!

I have been going to do the same Person for four years. Unfortunately they’re still not open with quarantine so I decided to try this one out with is great reviews. Tyler did amazing. She explained me everything she was doing and was so nice! While the tinting probably wasn’t as worth it for me my eyebrow shape is perfect for someone who had to go to a new place for the first time since ever getting my eyebrows done. I will definitely be coming back! Sadly the reception isn’t that friendly but they did their job I guess

Katie is the best! She is just so genuinely nice and friendly not to mention super talented! She does my eyebrow wax with tint and lash lift with tint and I always leave extremely happy. I'm really picky with my brows (wanting it thick with a nice arched shape) and she totally delivers. I'm also very particular with the way I want my lashes to look after a lift. Katie is so precise with everything she does I just love it! Totally recommend this location and recommend Katie!

I was nervous being a plus size woman but I specified when I set up my appointment I wanted someone who was comfortable with plus size clients and I was set up with Angela who is also plus size! The staff is very personable, honest, and straightforward. Services were expensive, but fairly similar to other waxing places. Staff was short and dismissive. Did not like how they automatically scheduled you for your next service without asking you if you wanted it or what your schedule/ time preferences were. Although they did not push their products like European wax center, the people at ewc were much more friendly. Will not be returning to the location/ chain.

Love the ladies here! They are super sweet and will be more than happy to help answer any questions you may have. They are really knowledgeable about products and make you feel comfortable. The only negative is that there will be gossip sometimes about clients they have just finished waxing, so if you feel that gossip isn't a thing you'd like to witness, i wouldn't suggest the trip.

Not really what we expected but definitely a great place worth checking out. All in all we got what we wanted but the service could have been a little bit nicer. They did a decent job for my wife's eyebrows and it is somewhere we might end up using again, but not 100% sure about that yet. if you're looking for a simple place to get waxed then this might be an ideal location for you.

My first experience with waxxpot was awesome , thanks to Kassandra(who no longer works there). She expressed her own insecurities (which made me more comfortable) and she kept convo going the whole time, I felt I’ve knew her for years! This last visit... not so much. I will not use the employee’s name but SHE made it obvious that she did not want to service me! I felt so uncomfortable, I’ve literally had better experiences with getting a Pap smear. She made a couple comments that led to small talk but most of the time I was listening to the music over the speakers. Plus after she ripped, she DID NOT touch me(ladies who get Brazilians know what I mean). True enough I was “starting over” so my hair was thick. She left some hair that could of been cleaned up. She rushed out the room afterwards! Besides the $50 charge , I did leave a 30% tip because regardless of the negative experience , she was appreciated. I will be returning back to the European wax center after this experience.
