Alyssa is amazing! She is quick, efficient, and does a fantastic job. I am pregnant and she educated me beforehand on differences I might experience with my Brazilian wax because of this. She also ensured that I was in a comfortable position the entire time. The salon itself is extremely clean and super cute. A receptionist met me as soon as I came in and my scheduled appointment started right on time. I’ve been to at least three other salons in the Columbia area and I truly feel this is the best one. Can’t wait to come back and will also be booking other services like brow tinting/waxing. Thanks again, Alyssa!

First time getting waxed at 56! Decided to try this after all the Covid growth! Did my upper and lower legs. This place is AMAZING! Clean!! So clean and nicely decorated. Dani was my tech and she did an amazing job. 15 minutes start to finish. Not painful. A month later and I am still smooth, smooth, smooth. I will definitely be back! Thank you! Update: I decided to try waxing my underarms for the first time last week. Dani was again a wonderful technician! I was nervous and thought it might be painful but it was not! Super fast, brilliant results! Indeed, once you go wax you never go back! I'll never shave again!

So I have gotten my eyebrows tinted on several occasions and I have hated them every time. I came across Dani's work on IG and said I'll give it one more shot lol! Let me just sat I absolutely LOVE my brows! Dani did an awesome job and was super sweet. The place was beautifully decorated and smelled like Heaven, I'll definitely be returning for more services!

My experience at Sugar coated waxing and sugaring was AMAZING…normally I get a regular Brazillian wax but decided to try the Sugar Brazillian wax. DJ did amazing. She made sure I was comfortable, and was well educated with the after care of my area after the sugar wax. There are some things that are just difficult to get terribly excited or overly enthused about. Waxing and sugaring services are one of those. There is little pleasant about having hair ripped off of your body - but - the ladies at Sugar Coated make the experience as nice as it can be. D’Shayla, in particular, is a particular pleasure to work with! I have always been pleased with the work done here and everyone is pleasant and professional. You won’t be disappointed if you just go ahead and make your appointment!

I had a bikini and underarm sugaring hair removal service done today. The service was AWESOME. No pain at all. Quick and comfortable. The waiting room and service room was very clean. No clients waiting on the lobby and I waiting in my car only 2 minutes until it was time for my service. The employees are wearing masks and implementing all safety and santizing measures. D'Shayla is the owner who did my service and I absolutely love it. Her sister works there as well and she is very nice and friendly with great customer service. I am currently 7.5 months pregnant. And have never gotten a wax before however due to not being able to do it myself I decided to finally get my first wax. And boy am I regretting all the times I was too scared to do it. This was by far THE BEST experience I could have ever had. From the moment I walked in I was greeted warmly by the receptionist and Dshayla the owner (sorry if misspelled). I did not read my email correctly and failed to fill out the intake form but they were super kind and just resent it and let me take care of it right away. On top of being a bit embarrassed I was also very nervous. Needless to say there was no point. The place is very clean, the atmosphere is calming and it was a lot less painless than I imagined. She talked me through the entire procedure, was honest and said it could hurt but let me know what she can and will do to ease the pain. And again she did NOT disappoint. If you are like me and scared to take the dive, don't be, especially if you go to Sugar coated. I will never go back to shaving and can't wait to go for a follow up before I am due.

The ladies were professional. They weren't afraid of African American hair or body parts. I went to awaxing place in the past and aesthetician act like she never seen an African 🐈 and hair. I had to call the front desk because she didn't finish. Needless to say, I never went back . But sugar coated wax is the bomb!!! They have diverse aestheticians. That makes a difference. The cleanliness is exceptional (she changes gloves & wax often, and the place is overall very clean)! D'Shayla walks you through the whole process and makes you feel more relaxed by holding a captivating conversation. They do have the TV playing, which is a nice distraction from the pain! This was my first time doing a sugar wax and I HIGHLY recommend it over normal wax. It is very painful your first time, but super easy every time after that. It also slows down the hair growth IMMEDIATELY and makes it grow back thinner--whereas with normal wax, it takes longer to see any changes in hair growth. While being in SC for a short time, I have gone here a total of 3 times. I'm leaving the state now and I will definitely miss this place!! 100% hands-down, the best place to go.
