Just had my first bikini wax with Ashley and it went so well! She was extremely friendly and very attentive. She took the time to explain what she was doing and chatted with me the whole time to keep me relaxed. Their online reservation platform was very easy to use and they had a touch-less checkout process using my card on file. So happy they’re so close to me in S. Philly. The salon was also very stylish and clean. I walked there during a crazy hot day in Philly and they had cold water for clients which I really appreciated.

Ashley has converted me. 🙌 Let me say, I had one Brazilian wax before coming to Noire and I left thinking that was something I would NEVER do again. Fast forward a year and I had a weeklong beach vacation planned and I’m someone who needs to shave every day because my hair [USED TO] grow back that fast, so I decided to try waxing one more time. And LET ME TELL YOU: who you go to really does make all the difference because my experience at Noire with Ashley was a night and day difference! I’m a nervous talker and she’s amazing at keeping conversation flowing so I stay distracted and is genuinely just great to talk to. My first wax with her was significantly less uncomfortable than my prior experience so I decided to keep waxing instead of shaving and now, a year later, I honestly look forward to my appointments! That smooth clean feeling I have leaving Noire (smoothness on a level I’d never felt from shaving) makes any discomfort so worth it — and people aren’t lying to you, it really does become less painful over time! It feels [almost] equivalent to an eyebrow wax at this point! I will never go back to shaving; I have officially been converted, and I’m never going anywhere else.

I started seeing Ty over five years ago while I lived in Philadelphia, and I still drive from out of state to see her. She's the only person I'll allow to do my hair. She's very meticulous and makes sure she's genuinely caring for your hair and not just styling it. She also goes out of her way to make sure you like your hair before leaving, which I very much appreciate. Always professional, but warm and caring. Ty is easily the best hairstylist I've ever had! Highly recommend. The salon is beautiful, the environment is spotless, and the ambiance is truly relaxing. I love coming here.

Today I went to Noire Salon for my wax and I really loved it. I have had many waxes in the past but this experience was different. Tyisha was very nice and sweet. Usually, I am uncomfortable when people talk to me during my wax because I am always so tense but I just really loved her vibe. I came a long way with my skin as far as dark spots and razor bumps so I thought that this was about as good as it was going to get. Well, Tyisha recommended a product sold in the shop to start a chemical peel and she gave me a free sample so that I could test it out first. Also, the place was very clean and nice sized. This was such a good experience for me because I felt that she genuinely cared about my comfort and my skin. Thank you, you have a forever client.

I had a rough day going to different places trying to get a manzilian done and the European wax center and the naked peach denied me service. Lucky one of the ladies from European wax center, I believe it was terra, recommended me to here. I went and called them and they were very kind and said please come in. It is a-little pricy but for the work they do, it’s very thorough, well done, and we’ll spent. This was my first time getting a Brazilian. My waxer was Alyssa. She was super friendly. Super chill. I felt so comfortable throughout the whole process. She reduced all my nervousness. We were just casually talking throughout the whole thing. Also it was not nearly as painful as I thought it would be and was done super fast. Felt like ripping off a bandaid. Barely any pain. It felt like it was only 10 minutes. The recovery was fine too. No pain or discomfort.

It's okay, but I rather go elsewhere. I was in pain and she didn't apply enough pressure. I wasn't offered anything and the service felt rushed. I would like to give 3 and half stars if possible, since she did get me in, but all hair wasn't 100 percent removed. It's a nice place if you can't get to your local wax specialist.
