Olivia is amazing amazing amazing from making me feel super comfortable for my first wax to just being extremely knowledgeable about after care and quick most important so quick. I went to HOTWAX to get waxed for the first time and I can only say that I would definitely come back. Not only the service itself was great, but also the environment was very welcoming and professional. I was super scared, but everything was super quick, and it didn’t hurt as much as I thought it would. I had the pleasure to be taken cared of by Olivia and Melissa and they were both very friendly even though I am a very shy person and don’t really talk a lot. Excellent service!!! 100% recommend :)

Hot Wax is my go-to for all waxing, threading, and skin care services. Love Mimi and Mittal for threading and waxing. Had a wonderful facial with Mimi. And Olivia did an awesome lash lift/tint (have had waxing too and it was great). They sell quality products but don't push them (waited for me to ask), and give recommendations that are realistic for someone with little patience for a skin routine. They are so accommodating with booking. Salon is always clean. Respectful of covid precautions, meeting the comfort level of the customer. 5 stars.

Okay, here’s all you you need to know. My appointment was scheduled for 5:00 pm. By 5:08 pm I was telling my friend that I was leaving my wax appointment, bald, with products in hand, and a future appointment scheduled. I am 100% pleased with Mittal’s ability to get me in and out, with little to no pain, and she never forgot to give a pleasant experience. I’m really big on customer service because I have a customer service work history and the ladies were customer focused, even at 5:00 in the evening. Please stop by and give them a try. They are extremely professional yet personable. Being a guy and first time they were extremely helpful and patient. I started with noise hair and now I get my back, chest and armpits done. I thought so much of their services I took my mother and mother-in-law to get threading and eyebrow tinting. Summary: I highly recommend Hot Wax Baltimore! Olivia and the other estheticians are professional, talented, and welcoming. It is easiest to look online for availabilities but to actually book appointments over the phone. The studio is clean and has a great vibe. There's mainly parallel parking with some back-in parking about two blocks away, so give yourself extra time to park if you need it. After only three appointments with Olivia, I can say that I’m now a loyal Hot Wax Baltimore customer. The prices for waxes are very reasonable and are the best I’ve seen for this high quality of customer service. The place itself is really clean and visually appealing, with good clothing stores and places to eat within walking distance. All of the estheticians that I’ve met have been helpful, kind, and have great energy. The is no parking lot, but there is parallel street parking right outside the door and back-in street parking about two blocks down (pay to park). The first time I saw her was for my first ever wax. This was my first time driving and parking in the city so I was 15 minutes late and there was a glitch with the online booking system where the system told me my appointment was 15 minutes later than it actually was, so I was 30 minutes late. When I got inside the esthetician who checked me in was very understanding and worked with me to reschedule the facial that I initially booked because there wouldn’t be enough time for Olivia to do both the wax and facial diligently and to the best of her (amazing) abilities... Olivia and Hot Wax go way beyond simply walking through the motions of the services that they provide. It is much easier to looked at the online booking calendar to see the estheticians' availabilities and then called the studio to actually book your appointment. At Hot Wax, I've gotten all of my first waxes with Olivia and the acne facial with her too. She always takes away any nervousness and is very professional while still being fun, easygoing, welcoming, and easy to talk to. With waxing, she is careful, efficient, and looks back over the area with you to make sure no spots are missed or need touch-ups. For the acne facial, Olivia examined my skin to pick the products that would give the best results, making sure that everything in my skincare routine was safe to use with them. The facial itself was relaxing and really reduced the dullness of my skin. Olivia once again exceeded my expectations and I’m sure she will continue to do so in all of our future appointments.

I really wanted to like this place but honestly I was a bit disappointed. I called last minute before an event and they took me in the same day with the sweetest and most pleasant customer service. The location was convenient, clean and attractive and I appreciated their check in procedure. The young lady doing my lashes was sweet as well and I did mention I wanted to keep the thickness of my brows and showed her a photo. She asked me multiple times if I liked my brows and not being able to see without my glasses , I eventually said yes seeing that the general shape was there. Fast forward to an hour before the event and I realize that my eyebrows still need to be tweezed and cleaned up to be presentable. Unfortunately the young lady had only waxed my curly brows but there was no tweezing done to remove the extra hairs or trimming to help them lay better. (Not sure if this is extra but I assumed it was included) I won’t leave a negative review as this could have easily been my mistake. I’m just a bit disappointed to have to go home and finish my brows myself considering the price. I may go back here in an emergency, especially considering the customer service but I’ll keep looking elsewhere for a great browtician.

I came here for Dermaplanning to help with hyper pigmentation on my nose. 2 yrs ago, Mittal did my lashes and mentioned she could fix the hyper pigmentation. I didn’t take her up on it then. Recently I feel like the brown spot on my nose got even more noticeable and I was sad seeing it in pictures (especially bad in severe lighting) and in the mirror everyday. I've been going to Hotwax for several years now and it's always been a positive experience. I go to the location in White Marsh on Belair Rd. It's very organized, neat and clean. Everyone there makes you feel welcome. All of the staff are great at their services. I've been going to Mittal for all of my services. She is very personable and sweet. She goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable and at ease no matter what. She'll also work with you to accommodate an appointment. Plus she's an awesome waxer and can get you in and out in no time with hardly any pain at all. So if it's your first time venturing into waxing or you're looking for some place else to get your services met I highly recommend requesting Mittal or any of the other girls at the Hotwax shop. You won't be disappointed. .
