Happy beaver is hands down the best waxing place i have been to. April is so proffesional and nice. She takes her time with every appointment which i love because her work is clean and perfect. I absolutely recommend her if you need any waxing done.

April is the best and even though I’m cursing her out in my head during the more sensitive areas I keep coming back. She is easy to talk to, extremely professional, and she works quickly which is a plus in my book when it comes to any kind of hair removal! The salon itself is adorable and I love how everything has a place. You can tell how much she takes pride in her business because of how clean and well kept everything is. I highly recommend Happy Beaver Wax Bar to anyone and everyone who needs a little extra help with hair maintenance :)

If you’re in need of a wax ,some brow love and are seeking a good esthetician I highly recommend Happy Beaver Wax Bar. First of all: The name. You can’t find a better named business in this line of work. Sheer brilliance. Second: April is just awesome. A total delight of a human, very professional, amazing at putting nerves at ease, fast, efficient, affordable, hygienic…. The whole package. I was very anxious and she is so easy to talk with, super chill and totally put me at ease within seconds. She really has a gift. I’ll for sure be going back!

I highly recommend Happy Beaver Wax Bar! I went in for an eyebrow and lip wax; as it was my first time waxing, April informed me on everything I needed to know and made it a comfortable environment. The area was clean and professional; when you enter the building, you are asked to remove your shoes, but they provide slippers. April was efficient in timing and did a great job!

Clean and hygienic - a fresh stick was used with every “dip” (every time wax was applied). She used a “breathe in/breathe out” technique that really helped when the wax was removed. The waxing table had a covering that was changed between clients, as well as an ample sized disposable wipe. The lifesaver mint was a nice touch, too. The chair to sit in while my eyebrows were shaped was comfortable and had nice lighting. Shoes are not worn in the studio, slippers are provided. The room was clean, smelled good, and had space for me to hang up or set my belongings. The bathroom was clean and well stocked. The decor was beautiful and soothing.

I have been going to April since she started at Catelyns place! I always get my Brazilian waxes from her and I have had consistent results- no ingrowns, smooth skin, etc. She recently started her own business and is located near Abbott area. She keeps her workplace clean and is so kind and personable! I know that she does do a variety of waxing services if you don’t do Brazilian waxes. If you love consistent results, an awesome esthetician, and quality service, definitely check out April at the Happy Beaver Wax Bar!! :-)
