I have been a client of Epiphany Dermatology for more than 6 yrs., now. I MUST say; I have had NOTHING but cordial and WELL MANNERED visits. My dermatologist is and has been Dr.Poohjay Newton. She has been WONDERFUL and very proactive about my treatment and her reasons for her assesement each visit , even when I knew she was in a Very Down period. I have the GREATEST RESPECT and liking for her and her assistants. We always have fun and many laughs. Thank you for beeing my "GO TO" for skin care. Thomas Renner.

More than the cleanliness of the facility I truly appreciated the doctor’s compassion to my situation. Although the appointment was short she was very thorough. Finally figured out what 3 previous doctors could not even with $1,000s of lab work. Thank you 😊! My only complaint was how long it took to get an appointment, they do schedule you out far.

Great location for me on Eubank. Parking is readily available. The building is very nice, though the waiting room is a bit small. But the best thing is the treatment I receive there. My doctor, whose name I don't know is superb in her treatment and medical knowledge. I would recommend her any day!

No problems or complaints. ********************************************************* No problem at all with the exam, but my appointment was apparently 'lost' in your computer system and I had to be worked into the schedule after waiting around for 30 minutes. For my next appointment in three months, I'll call ahead a week early just to be sure I wan't booted out yet again. Three month update: No scheduling problems, staff was friendly and efficient. One of the few doctor appointments I look forward to attending. December update, got in on time and was accorded the usual friendly and efficient service. Usual excellent and pleasant service. November 2022 check-up was done on time and with the usual efficiency and friendly conversation.

A very busy practice, but fortunately also very efficient. While scheduling can be a bit problematic due to the large number of patients, the treatment here is absolutely worth the wait! I certainly would not go anywhere else for treatment of my condition. The staff, including the MA's, Dr. Levin, and especially Pooney Newton PAC, are simply superb, for lack of a better word. I am treated with a excellent mix of respect, humor, caring, and tremendous skill. I would highly recommend Epiphany Dermatology without hesitation to anyone requiring dermatology services.

The providers are great. I've had continued problems with their accounting department. They don't apply payments I send, resulting in inaccurate balances owed. I keep contacting them about this. They just say "sorry" and apply the payments. This. Keeps. Happening. By my calculations, if I didn't keep track of my payments, I would've paid an extra $150.

Dr. Levin and his assistant who worked with him are excellent. Everything went smoothly and they were very attentive to me making sure I was comfortable. Dr. Levin even checked a couple of spots on my skin that I was concerned about. His assistant was top-notch in her treatment of me. For them alone, I would give 5 stars. However, I wish I could say the same things about office management in terms of getting my appointment set. After waiting for over a week to hear from someone to make my appointment (following the diagnosis by Amber Luna, PA) I called at least three times over a period of about 2 weeks trying to get a human being to answer the phone and set my appointment. At one point the answering system had a "full mailbox"! I finally asked my primary doctor to call Epiphany to give me an appointment. Finally it was done by the end of December and my appointment was Jan 14. I understand staffing problems, but this is beyond my understanding of what good customer service should be. In fact Ms. Luna sent a certified letter to me near the end of December emphasizing how important it was to make this appointment. Apparently he had no idea that I had tried several times without getting a response from the clinic. This appointment problem also occurred back in August for my first MOS procedure but that time the delay in getting an appointment was a matter of several days instead of several weeks! On top of that, my most recent appointment was changed from the original day to two days later but I only got notification the Friday before the appointment. For that lack of timely service I would award ONE STAR! FIX THIS PROBLEM BECAUSE I INTEND TO SEEK ANOTHER DERMATOLOGY CLINIC TO SERVE MY NEEDS JUST BECAUSE OF THIS ISSUE!!!

The waiting room was crowded since I have become used to covid guidelines although masks were required. I was uncomfortable but can always wait outside. PA-C Newton was wonderful. I also liked her assistants a lot. Once I got into the exam room, I was comfortable and believe she was thorough.

At Epiphany Dermatology the staff is accommodating, communicative, compassionate. I got great help to locate their building. The Maps online were not precisely to the place. Map Quest was totally wrong. I arrived 15 minutes late and was kindly signed-in, called to an exam room, and prepped. Moh’s surgery clinic on Eubank in Albuquerque is organized, efficient, and comforting. Dr. Ethan Levine has great skills, confidence, and knowledge. I am happy that Epiphany Dermotology has made it happen to rid me of the skin cancer tumor! I am a patient for life at Epiphany Dermotology!

My wife had a very bad experience at distinctly derm so it was good to hear she had such a good experience at epiphany. She saw doctor newton, She was very personable. Answered all of her questions about her skin and explained everything. Gave excellent recommendation to help her skin. Gave her the time she deserved throughout her appointment and never felt rushed. She did a body scan from the waist up and looked at all the spots my wife was worried about. Epiphany dermatology is highly recommend. She did have to wait for about two month for her appointment but almost all dermatologist are booked out that long. My wife said she will definitely be going back.

I am always happy with Dr. Newton. The printer was low on toner so the receipt came out unreadable. I have an HRA (health reimbursement account) and need to send in a request for reimbursement along with a readable proof of payment. Brittany emailed me a receipt. The email had a 14 KB attachment, but had a red circle with a line though it and could not be opened. Mercedes is mailing me a receipt that I will be able to use for my reimbursement request.I am extremely pleased with the staff for going above and beyond in order to meet my needs! Thanks all.

I would have preferred sitting in the waiting room with a magazine until they were ready for me. Or have magazines in the exam room. But they were very gentle with procedure, and explained well what was to take place. Much better visit this year it was quick and all were very nice.

My teenager and I each saw Pooneh at the Eubank location at separate times. She's very nice, professional, and efficient. She made us feel very comfortable and spent time showing us what she saw and explaining what we should watch for. When she removed a mole for biopsy, my teenager was surprised that she was done and kept saying that it didn't hurt at all. We'll definitely go back when we need a dermatologist. Also, the waiting room is very comfortable and we appreciate the text reminders they send.

The staff are very nice. The PA who examined me was also great, knowledgeable and very professional. Checking in took less than 10 minutes. My exam took ~10 minutes but due to how late they were past my scheduled time, and then my wait time in the exam room, I was there for an hour and 15 minutes past my scheduled time. I worked in healthcare for years and I know there are emergencies that can cause significant delays, but this is not an emergency clinic and I would say the staff didn't act like this kind of delay was unusual. Based on the services provided I can recommend this place, but be aware that your time is not important.

Update: I have been going to Newton for awhile now and I have to say I am still highly impressed. She really cares about her patients. She remembers things that I don’t even remember I told her. She definitely shows that she cares about her patients individual. A medical staff that works alongs side her(wish I could remember her name) is the same way. It’s really a great atmosphere and very comfortable. They really care about your well being. The front desk staff is just as nice. Also, people mention the wait time as being an issue. Seriously? When they see a patient they don’t rush them. I would rather be seen 15 mins late and not feel rushed. They take the time with each patient. This is not a problem considering most Doctor offices try to shorten their time with their patients. If time of wait means more than performance of a practitioner then you are high maintenance. Most of the time I get seen on time and if I don’t so what. I have to wait longer at other offices only to be rushed. I have had 10 biopsy’s done and all have come back within 2 weeks. They are a busy office but the quality is AMAZING!

I experienced the staff, from check in to exam and follow up, as professional and welcoming. The office does appear very busy. I was in and out within an hours time, experiencing a wait time of only about 5-10 minutes. There was a gentleman talking on his phone while I was waiting despite signs requesting no use of cell phones. As the wait room is small reinforcing this policy is important, I feel.

I certainly appreciated Dr Levin's careful and professional Moh's surgery on my lower left leg and his supporting nurse (Saline) was very knowledgeable and provided more than adequate guidance and supplies. After three days, I am now washing (showering) the area and there seems to be NO sign of infection/heating, nor bleeding. The practice was not empty, but did not seem especially packed to justify a delay well beyond my other healthcare providers. There was no apparent incompetence or lack of professionalism, everyone seemed great. I can only guess that Epiphany is simply taking more patients than it can currently handle.

The doctor was a nice woman who was clearly very experienced; no issues there. I did have to wait upwards of 45 minutes past my appointment time to see her; I had to ask the receptionist 3 different times about when I would be seen. Finally when I was taken into the room, I wanted another 10 minutes for the Dr. to arrive, making my total wait time nearly 1 hour past my scheduled appointment time. I went to Dr. Suraj Reddy (which I would not recommend) for 5 years. My condition gradually worsened and I knew it was time for a new doctor. The PA was awesome, but the front desk staff at the Eubank location was the opposite. They held personal conversations with a waiting room full of people. They asked me to show up 15 minutes early (for an 8am appt) but then didn't show up until 8 on the dot themselves. Then I had to wait another 45 minutes with no updates or info that thing were running late. It seems they've said "i'm sorry" so often that it no longer has any meaning. Absolute lack of empathy. Because the PA is good, I'm willing to continue with Epiphany, but will no longer be going to the Eubank location.
