Overall, this a great range and sports facility (golf, golf shop, batting cage, mini golf etc) and the top tracer simulation on most hitting mats gives this one an edge. Also, there's a bar/restaurant attached that offers a good variety of beer and food. Fun for the family and a good haven for golfers.

Love their newly added TopTracer features. No more guessing work on my club carry and total distance. You can also play some virtual golf courses during your practice. Nice practice facility with great sports bar and awesome pro shop.

Little long in the tooth, but for hitting balls definitely better than most. Getting a bucket was easy with the pin system and the computerized ball tracking system was very cool and helpful. I'd never used it before and more ranges should have this tech. The mini golf looked in need of some TLC

Driving range is in decent shape. Top tracer technology at the range is fantastic. Do not bother with the mini golf. Awful course in terrible shape. Extremely beaten down and dirty.

I have a Club member card so I frequent this location. They have updated the lower level stalls so they have heat, fan and top tracer technology so you can monitor your practice. You can also visit various courses virtually through the top tracer which can make this experience even more fun and unique.

Top tracer hitting booths, mini golf, batting cages, go carts, restaurant with a deep beer selection. What more do you need? Bill set me up with irons and woods at their Trackman custom fitting studio--I'm happy. The only downside is it get pretty packed on weekends and evenings, so getting a stall can be difficult.

Good solid range with lots of amenities. However, their TopTracer bays are consistently 10-20 yards short on every shot. There seems to be no acknowledgement on the part of management to address the issue as it's been like this for over a year. This has been confirmed with TrackMan devices that others have brought to the range. It is super frustrating knowing you're hitting, say a 5 iron 185 and it's show up as 160 on the monitor.

Great golf range with clean bays, functional heaters in the winter, a bar and the best is that top tracer golf technology is included with the bucket. It is not 100% accurate and in the winter with the heaters not capturing every shot but for the price very good. Furthermore at night the range is well lit and balls can be tracked by eye. In comparison to Closter this is much cleaner, the heating is functioning in every bay and it is well lit, all things Closter has big challenges with.

Good care is taken to make sure balls are clean and mats are in good shape. The new TopTracer system makeS golf a lot of fun for families. For the serious golfer looking to improve his game the cost of balls has gone up Significantly! Fewer balls for the money. I wish they would bring back the early bird specials.

The driving range is fine. They have nice electric go carts as well. However the mini golf is dreadful. The price is on the higher end for poorly maintained and non existant mini golf. Pass on this mini golf

We had a blast! We rode the gocarts and played miniature golf. Everything was clean and the staff were nice. Prices were pretty reasonable. Mini golf course didn't have too much to it, but still fun. There are snack and beverage machines, and a bar that offers food. Great time overall. We'll be back!

Tappan golf center is a large complex that, as you may have guessed, mainly serves the golfing community. The facilities include a two story driving range, a pro shop, miniature golf, indoor batting cages, go-karts, and a bar. I go to the driving range or batting cage. While the driving range is usually busy, it never seems crowded because the second floor adds ample stalls. I never feel crowded although I've never seen less than 15 golfers there. Prices are reasonable; I spend $12 on a large bucket, which I believe is around 160 balls. They also offer an early bird special before noon, but I've never been that early, so I don't know what the deal is. The batting cages are also quite nice. Its one of the large dome style cages, which I like because I can actually see where I've hit the ball. Each cage offers baseball and soft ball and speeds range from 30-70 mph. I haven't taken advantage of any of the other activities at Tappan Golf Center so I obviously cant review them. I will say the bar looks very nice and the pro shop has a lot of merchandise. The entrance to the facility is very inconvenient because it is not centrally located causing you to walk far out of the way to get from your car inside.

Good place to hit balls for a bit. Great place to have a beer and a bite after hitting said balls. Mini golf is good, but needs a makeover. Batting cages are too dark. Update August 2019 - They have installed Toptracer on all of the booths. This is now the only place to go to practice. Update April 2021 - I am subtracting a star because this place is looong overdue for new golf balls. Update May 2021 giving them back a star as they have finally purchased new balls.

Have been there for mini golf and batting cages. Main business is driving range. Cages and mini golf are in need of some updating. On several occasions the cages were not working. Mini golf needs new greens, repairs. Could be a great place

During the winter it is the BEST for heaters, the heaters here are amazing cause they are powerful! The facility here is GREAT and the place has a ball distance monitor to see how far it goes. Compared to Closter Golf Center (which is literally the worst) This place is the BEST!!

I always have a good time going here. Reasonable pricing for driving range, mini golf for the kids, and decent pro shop. Biggest draw is the restaurant/bar inside. Very good food with craft beer on tap. Bartenders are friendly and personable but most importantly, they know how to make a cocktail.

3 Stars because its facing the sunset. I has polarized sunglasses but I advise NOT to go on a bright sunny day during sunset. Otherwise great $$value... price for number of balls

Driver Fitting I decided to get a driver fitted for the first time. I love practicing at the range, and saw they offered fitting services. I made an appointment with William Cho. The overall experience was great, William was patient, as I hit every new driver for 2020. With his help and recommendation for the shaft, he built me one heck of a golf club. The club is exactly what I was looking for. I can't thank William enough for all of his help. I highly recommend giving him a call if you are interested in a fitting. It really does make a huge difference.

This is a great spot with several sports options - a 2 level golf range, go cart track, batting cage, and a full-service sports bar. The only negative is the design of the golf range -- it faces west, so in the afternoon the sun is in your face so it can get extremely hot especially in the summer. Its sister location (in Closter NJ) is North-South facing which avoids the sun altogether, and in my opinion is a much better design.

The range & batting cages are pretty standard. Some basket targets, flags etc for golf. The restaurant has great happy hour specials - highly recommend. Every time we've gotten food or drinks here - the staff has ALWAYS been helpful & pleasant.

The highlight was the wild groundhog enjoying a snack. He was cute. A lot to do and well maintained. Resturant looked clean and lots of options. Mini golf was an easy course but clean. Also has go carts, batting cages, and double decker driving range that is well maintained. A nice area to spend a few hours and have a drink and lunch at an affordable price.

Tappan golf is a great destination for anyone. If you're an avid golfer or just want to do something fun with a group of any age, this place is great. The go karts are not as fast as some places but they are still very fun, and the mini-golf is showing a bit of age but is still a very fun course to play on.

I go pretty often and honestly I think its real good. Restaurant is good. Really easy to get some golf balls and just play a little bit. Mini-Golf is fun. 10/10 recommended.

Dec 2020 during covid times... they are "cash only" and a sign next to their credit card machine that says broken! Just plug it in so we don't have to be touching each other's cash for the sake of you losing 3%. We dont do golf and we only go for batting cages and gokarts. Bar looks nice and temping. Mini golf looks lame. Batting cages give inconsistent pitches as the speed goes up. Anything over 50 mph your lucky to get 50% strikes. Best part is the big barn let's you see where you hit the ball. Gokarts are hit and miss. Not every car has the same speed.

They did wrong by there steady customers, guys like me who would go twice a week out of season and three times in season when they upped their prices by 50 percent because they added Trackmans. I like them, but not when I get 84 balls for $12. They also got rid of the 2 for 1 before 12 and did some other special.

Golf driving range with mini golf, batting cages, and go carts. I've only ever used the range. It has two decks but I believe only the first floor has heats and fans for hot or cold days. Has a bar and proshop.

The go-karting experience is the best. It’s enjoyable, and fun. And there are always open spaces because the go-karting section is not an epicenter for go-karting. So avoid RPM Raceway and come here.

They have mini golf, a driving range batting cage and go carts. The place is very clean and the staff are very friendly. The only issue I had was the mini golf course needs to be resurfaced and the water hazards we're not functional. Please fix!
