As the blue course is usually the only available tee times on Bergen County's booking site,I play this blue 9 hole course often. It's not nearly as nice as the Red/White but it's a great practice course. Reasonably priced and far more productive than a bucket of balls at the range,being that the prices are similar.

For the price it's more than expected. Course has rough conditions, some missing signs and hard greens but I will be back.

The 9 Hole Blue course is fine if you want something quick. It's not in great shape but it's like $12-17 depending on when you go. The 18 Hole Red/White course is actually pretty nice. Good variety of shots, fairways aren't too narrow so it's not alienating to a hack like me. Fairways and greens seem to be kept pretty nice. They must use pesticides because i didn't encounter a single bug which was awesome. Bunkers aren't in great shape, they definitely fill up with water and stay that way. The staff is friendly, Rangers are friendly and helpful if you need anything. There's a coffee shop in the clubhouse so you can get a water, Gatorade, beer, etc before your round. It's right at the turn where hole 10 of the Red/White course's tee is so it's nice to grab a drink after your first 9 holes. The carts are gas powered but the ball and club cleaners have cleaning liquid in them which is nice. An 18 round here with a membership will run you around $46

Great golf courses. Both 18 and 9. We played the 9 hole, which I prefer. Course is kept in good shape. Nice service at check in. Snack bar, pro shoppe . Looking forward to next time. Reasonable rates for county residents

For what you pay, this course does the job just fine. Fairways and greens are not the best and can be in petty rough shape but for the most part the course does hold up well. Its fairly easy to make a tee time and i would definitely recommend for beginning golfers.

Staff was awesome! The course was in very good condition even though it had rained three straight days. Fair but challenging course makes you think on every shot and use all your clubs. Even though I'm not a Bergen county resident the staff alerted me that I could still get a non resident pass that would save me money.

Good course in good condition and the price for bergen county card holders is hard to beat. Minus a star for the geese/droppings. Other courses have figured out how to get rid of them, you should too.

This is a pretty course from the viewpoint of a non-golfer. I come here a few times a week to photograph the mist at dawn. I'm always surprised by the energy of the local golfers, who are packing the parking lot at 7AM. Looks to be a nice mix of people, lots of women golfers here, sometimes in a group of women, sometimes with their husbands or boyfriends. It's a pretty place.

3 stars is mostly because it’s very cheap. It’s either the driving range or Rockleigh blue for 12 bucks for 9 holes. Lots of clover everywhere so good luck finding your ball. Traps are hard as rocks and are like a baseball diamond. You get what you pay for.

I have played several times this year at Darlington and Valley Brook. The coarse’s have been pristine. Today I played at Rockleigh and I was very disappointed in the condition and beauty of the coarse. The fairways were all burnt from way too much fertilizer.and the rough was cut way too high. It was impossible to find or hit a ball 5 feet off the fairway.

Good value but since the rates are low it can get overcrowded very quickly. Clubhouse store is surprisingly really nice and has lots of items I didn’t expect at all. Also the little cafe had pretty good food. Would play there again.

Very nice. Had a great time and the staff was excellent. Under the old democratic county administration the course was run down and people were rude. New staff seems to treat people well and work hard to maintain the facility. 5 stars!

Was really impressed with the course. (Red/White) Phenomenal layout, just hope they keep it as well conditioned all season long. $35 to walk, cannot beat it.
