Not a bad day. Not too crowded and greens and fairway were in good shape. May be a bit overpriced compared to the other courses in the area, but worth the extra $20. Driving range on site too.

This golf course is well kept for the most part and is a fun, yet appropriately challenging course. It also happens to be one of the best deals around for 18 with a cart. The attendant at the first hole will usually have some advice about course conditions. The layout isn't the best, but that's not too big of an issue. They have a small driving range/practice area. The bar service is hit or miss depending on the time of day. If you're there in the morning they have breakfast sandwiches and there are hot dogs and sandwiches in the afternoon. Overall I have been pleased and will continue to visit the course.

Tee boxes are in ok shape, the fairways are pretty bad, lots of discoloration. Greens are in quite good shape and are challenging to putt on. Not my favorite course, fairways are narrow and holes are jammed right next to each other, many times you will have other people playing in your hole from mis hits. Workers in the clubhouse are friendly and is probably the most reasonable place to play in Wilmington. My favorite thing about Porky’s is Mr. Fox. He always seems to pop up right in the middle of your round. Makes me smile when I see him, especially if I’m having a rough day on the course.

Attended a gala here... I actually suggested the place. The grounds are maintained. The food is excellent. The event planning group is very hospitable. This club is a small hidden gem in the community.

Great course - the starter even had a few jokes to crack at 8am on a Sunday. Course was clean and taken care of, especially for a Late November round of golf

The course was nice and relaxing and the greens were tough. Now the fairways were tried out and not in great shape. Other than the fairways though not a bad course to hit a round at.

Pace of play was good for a weekday morning, finished 18 in 3 hours despite being behind a foursome. Greens and fairways are in okay shape. Unfortunately the rough is super tall and grown in, with lots of clovers and dandelions, making it very hard to find your ball even if you see it drop.

Met a large group of friends for lunch and had a spectacular experience! Our server, Sheila, was friendly and attentive, food was amazingly fresh (I got a Cobb salad) and the bathrooms were spotless (always a litmus test from my perspective:) We will be back!!

I hosted my daughter's baby shower at Ed Olivers. My contact was Mary who absolutely wonderful, from beginning until the end. Emily and Kira took care of us bartending, bringing out the food and anything else we needed. They were very attentive, friendly, and super nice. The food was very good and plentiful. The venue was clean including the restrooms. We had ample time to come in and decorate before hand. It was a great experience. Any events I may have in the future Ed Oliver's is my go-to.

A very nice afternoon spent with family celebrating a Sweet 16! A private, catered event that also allowed the family to bring in their own outside touches! The staff were very professional, polite & presented a clean & safe facility for the festivities! An overall excellent experience!

Played on Sept 5, 2020 and the course was in really bad shape. We had to roll the ball in the fairways because of so many bare/ muddy spots. The greens were very slow and soft but I expect that from this course, it's always been that way. But the course is not in good shape, at all. 2 stars because the greens, while slow, rolled pretty well. Update: played again on 6/19/21. Still had problem areas but the course was in noticeably better shape. Greens were actually firm and rolled really well again, not soft or slow. Adding another star to review, so 3 stars now.

My husband and I had our small intimate wedding here on 10.11.2020. Throughout the whole planning process our coordinator Mary was beyond amazing. She was very attentive and had a eye for detail. Our day was amazing and special. Everything we asked for from our vision was implemented. The service was great the food was good and overall the experience was by far the best. We are doing our larger reception here in June and are looking forward to working with her again. Thank you Mary and Ed Oliver team for making our day special even with the world being in the condition it is in from covid. We appreciate you all and cannot wait to do it again in June Sincerely, The Griffiths ❤️

Excellent experience. We were there for a funeral lunch. All food items were flavorful and timely. Wait staff was efficient and attentive. Of course the golf course view was lovely!!

I just played here yesterday and I have to say it was in beautiful shape! The fairways were lush and the greens were immaculate. Much improved over the last couple years. It's the best deal and round of golf in North Wilmington for me. I love playing here and will continue to recommended it as a great course to play.

It's a great place to go if you like to golf. This place is also great for parties and weddings. I had my wedding here and the staff was wonderful. I would also like to thank Jessica for helping us out with all the wedding planning and even the wedding it's self. She was always there for us when we needed her. I would definitely recommend this place as it has a nice view of grass and land. It also has a little lake which was great for pics and a chimney.

I always enjoy playing here at this course the staff is always friendly and accommodating. The grounds are always in great condition and they did a wonderful job on the renovation. the driving range and practice area is always in good condition and the turn 16 through 18 or some of the fun has holes to play.

For being the middle of spring, the course is in pretty good shape all around. I've played this course quite a few times now and it seems like the course and renovations are getting better every time. A real enjoyable course to play. There is a range to warm up before hand. Plenty of elevation changes as well as dog legs.

Terrific wedding reception! Some guests said it was the BEST wedding dinner they had ever had! Rob, the general manager was a joy to work with and helped with details and questions.Rob had the golf carts ready when we arrived to use for pictures and even watched to weather reports as a storm was approaching. Called back readily whenever called. The room was beautiful, the deck was nice with guests enjoying the outdoors and a nice view. Rob was attentive to details and helped make the reception everything we had wanted. No disappointments at all!

All in all a good public course. Course was in good shape for early April. Course is on the shorter side but uses the layout to add some distance. Will be back. Finally had a chance to get back to Porkys. Had the first tee time at 630 yesterday along with another solo. We were pulling out of the parking lot by 940. Fantastic round. I was amazed at the conditions of the course. No brown anywhere but in the woods. The greens were sone of he best I have played this year. Looking forward to my next round here.

Played front nine yesterday afternoon. Guy working the pro shop (younger guy with long hair) is always nice and never gets upset. Carts were clean and in good shape. Driving range is grass which is nice. Decent practice area for putting and chipping as well. Tee boxes and fairways mostly good with normal wear and tear from the season. Greens are in AWESOME shape, and roll fast and true. Rough had been recently trimmed and was mostly soft. Bunkers were in excellent conditions; soft with no water at all. Pace of play was good for the most part, felt a little rushed as more people showed up. I think it may have been some groups or a league, so I understand why they wanted to play faster. One guy by himself was being really awful and obnoxious, but it's not fair to hold that against the club. Layout can be a little confusing for a first timer here. Holes were more challenging than I expected. The course is a bit short, but they make up for that with tough pin placement, narrow fairways, hidden bunkers, and fast greens. Overall, I had a great time. The course is good for beginners and casuals because there aren't many places to lose your ball on a miss hit. More advanced golfers will appreciate the conditions, on the greens especially, as well as tricky pin placement. I would say for the price, a round of golf here is a steal. I'll be back for sure, and I am even considering a membership next season I was so impressed!

First time at this course and only played the first 9 today. Not a great course but definitely not a bad course either. Greens and most fairways were in good shape. Next time I'll play the full 18 holes.

I’m absolutely brand new and they treated me like a professional! A+ service. I don’t live in the area and again- they treated me sooo good. I was paired up w many others and every single person was incredibly nice! I have only played 15 times and 13 were at this course Bc I liked it sooo much. A+++ for any skill level.

Very nice place for a wedding. Loved the idea of the bridal party driving up in golf carts. Friendly staff. But been there 3 times in the past year for 3 different functions n every time they ran out of cold beer. When they run out of a certain brand, they bring the beer up hot n a 6 pack at a time. It doesnt get cold enough for next round. Would suggest that if you are having a function there make sure you ask for cold drinks. Think they would at least refrigerate the brands most requested.....

Went for a wedding and was not impressed. They were late starting the reception, a mouse ran out of the kitchen, they wouldn't turn the AC up, took the silverware for the cake and then rushed us out. For what they charged you'd think they'd have better service!

Course was in decent shape, but the pace of play was SLOW. No rangers keeping groups on Pace, and they don't do a great job of utilizing both nines to send people out.

I have played here many times. The course is always in good condition with very few issues. Even when the construction was underway, the course was still very playable with few issues.
