I played this course recently for a charity, resilient warrior by Rainer Arms. The course is really good and has the right set up between par fours and fives with a splash of water hazards on par threes. Trees are good for shade but not my golf balls...... The greens are extremely well kept and the sand traps are nicely done. Now the fairways, they are robust and can fool the player into a bad lay so play them smartly. The whole setup is so well done you'll fly through the 18 and be back for more. Sidenote, like so many other courses you'll need a set of clubs for each player, NO SHARING. However, you can rent there. Beer carts drive around but only take cash and no ATM on site. Have fun, drive straight and putt well, avoid the rough and take good friends for the day. Great course to play on, very well maintained, never had complaints until I played yesterday. They really need a Marshall out there to help the pace or play or book their holes farther apart. We played 15 holes in 5 hours when we can goto Tex Consoler and play 18 holes in roughly 4 hours every time. We had two different groups hitting on us, one group cussing at us, and the sad part is we weren’t the ones holding up the pace of play.

I played this course with a couple of my buddies from work. It was fun and challenging. They had a par 3 that was a blind shot to the green and was sourounded by water on the front, rear and left. It would have helped to have a built in gps map/range finder in the carts, especially on the par 5s. I know of other courses I can play for cheaper that have this option and are not quite as expensive. Overall it was a enjoyable experience. I just expect a bit more when paying over 45 for a round of golf.

Very challenging course. Not a great choice for beginners. Green complexes are large and have a lot of movement. Well maintained. It's walkable but the distance between green to tee can be long as it is a residential course. A must play if you enjoy a challenging course that rewards hitting the ball in a controlled manner as the secondary rough is very deep and is likely to result in a lost ball penalty if you hit into it.

Beautiful and challenging course. I like the mini hole off to the side of the driving range which is perfect for practicing chip shots and getting out of the sand. The new pro and everyone in the pro shop are awesome and always seem eager to help.

First of all, the course is pretty nice. Unfortunately the rental carts are not so nice. My wife and I fell victim to the aging golf carts this weekend, when the golf cart's straps loosened themselves and dumped one of our golf bags on two occasions. Both of our nice sets of clubs now have horrible scuffs and the club wouldn't offer to do anything for us (not even a free bucket of balls or free round). At least they wrote down which cart we used so they can fix the straps so this doesn't happen again... Shaking my head... UPDATE: I was contacted within a few days about this review. The city of Wichita contacted me, and compensated us with a round of golf and cart fees. Thanks!

Awesome, best course in town. It is a shame that Mcdonald, the old Wichita C.C. doesn't rival it. The city has allowed the course management to go to hell.

My wife and I hosted our wedding here in June, and the staff made everything so easy. They walked us through food and beverage choices along with arranging everything properly! I highly recommend them!

Great staff. Very welcoming to us out of Towner's. Course is in good shape, but is a little difficult. Lots of mature trees and trouble to be found.

This is far and away the best public golf course you'll find. Prices are reasonable and the course is interesting and challenging. The back nine is spread out so walking it can be a chore.
