Great course, the greens were a little slow but in good shape. I always have a great experience when I play here. Didn't see the Bald Eagles this time but a deer ran in front of us. Neat!

The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Food was good and well priced. We paid 120 for 2 plus are young son which we thought was pricey for the condition on all the greens. We never seen crab Gras as greens. We could not believe it never seen it before. Bumpy too. Kind of disappointed from what we are used to paying at home.

Friendly staff and affordable rates. Very close to the strip. 5 sets of tees make for a great experience for any golfer. A couple great holes with water!

Such a gorgeous course. Lots of breath taking views, the trees are so tall and beautiful. Such a great track, 5 tee boxes to choose from and I've played the middle and the second from the back, lots of fun. The greens are in fantastic shape. If you haven't played there yet, find the time to, I promise you, you will enjoy it. You can't beat the price either. Country club feel, with a very cheap price. Yeah Baby

Came here this morning for nine holes. We got stuck behind an accident on the way and called ahead to let them know we were running a few minutes behind in case we needed to reschedule our tee time and my wife was told it was no issue. Greeted by very friendly staff when we checked in and got our cart but while waiting to tee off on the first hole, the starter came over to make sure we were who we said we were. My wife and I were very friendly with him while waiting to tee off but he was incredibly rude stating that his day was ruined because “people can’t show up on time” and reiterated it a second time before we teed off while he sat there smoking his cigarette and scowling at us. I’m sorry there was an accident that we had zero control over but we called in advance to attempt to mitigate it or at the very least notify them. I’m not a pro, I golf in the 90’s and my wife just started learning, but I understand the importance of a tee time and that’s why we called to make sure it wouldn’t interfere and it sets a negative tone for someone wanting to come out and have a little fun while learning when an employee wants to be rude before we even get started. Not sure why some retiree working on a golf course needs to take such offense to it when no one else there did. Other than that, it was a beautiful day and the greens were in good shape. Will definitely return, but staff could use some attitude adjustment first thing in the morning.

Great golf course and fun to play. Been playing here for almost 40 years. Scenic and fair. A real pleasure. The staff in the clubhouse is great especially Danielle. They have a great beer selection. Very impressived with their choice of ipas. Highly recommend.

Course was in decent shape, probably a B- most of the greens were in good shape but a little slow (2 greens needed some work) and the fairways were a little thin. Do yourself a favor and just lift and place in your fairway.

We visited at the end of winter. The fairways were a little brown but it was to be expected. The greens were good. The design was such that you could spay your drive without being punished. Good place for the first time put for the year. I'll definitely go back this summer.

My wife and I were visiting VB and planned to get in a round as long as the temps were 40 & above. This course was a good choice. They have a pretty challenging layout and the course is in really good shape for January golf. There was no beverage cart and the kitchen was shut down by 12:45 on a Saturday, but again, it's January golf, so maybe that's how they operate in the winter. The pace was really good (pretty much empty out there) until we ran into an unreasonably slow foursome on the 14th hole, but they immediately waived us through by the 15th hole so that wasn't too much of an issue. Don't be fooled by them giving you the 90 degree cart rule. They'll tell you that "the additionally restricted holes and a few off-limit areas are clearly marked out there." Once you start playing, you'll immediately realize that over half the course is roped off! It became easier to just assume "cart path only" instead of looking around for signs over and over again; it slowed us down by about :45 minutes, but still wasn't too bad with nobody behind us. In all, a good outing. I can't comment on the food or pace. The layout makes good use of the standing water on the course. I highly recommend.

Nice layout and close to the beach. Can get crowded. A little pricey in my opinion but a nice track with no houses around, which is nice.

It's 4 star course not trying to be a 5 but a good solid course. Lots of dog legs. Plenty of water. Friendly staff. Lots of beer choices. I enjoyed my 2nd round here and will be back again. No complaints at all. My last round was after an inch 1/2 a rain and the course was dry the cart paths only.

Great place to play. Staff was friendly and very helpful lett you know where everything is. Even the cart return person was very nice. Course is very forgiving. Looking forward to playing this course in 2021

I played here for the first time on 05/11/15. I have played a number of courses areound Hampton Roads, and this is by far the prettiest course in the area. Whilst not long it makes you think about shots, and will punish the wayward. The condition of the course was good and the staff were very friendly. The course could benefit from some investment to tidy up a few places, but it did not stop my enjoyment of the course. In all an excellent course that you should give a try.

Nice beginner to intermediate level course. Wide open fairways for the most part provide forgiveness when your drive does not go quite as planned. Greens in good shape for December and reasonably priced

My girlfriends and I played Redwing and were really pleased how "women" friendly the course is. Since we're all retiree's it's nice to look at the distance and think we may be able to par a few holes! We really enjoyed our day. We will definitely return. Also, the location is great, only minutes from the beach.

My favorite course in the 757, besides Riverfront GC. This course is beautiful, the greens roll great. Not a lot of bunkers on the front 9, so some may love that aspect. The Par 5 9th hole is my favorite. Making the green in 2 is tough, but stay to the left side of the fairway with a good drive and you'll have a good chance to reach it over the water, if you dare. A good mix of challenging holes and "easy" ones. Easy is in quotes because, come on, golf is never easy.

A beautiful, fun and challenging course, but the staff is not client friendly. The " regulars" are treated well, but a "visitor"is treated as if they are doing you a favor. I am a friendly person who rarely has this problem, but this was not good! The course warrants a higher rating, but staff hurts it.

Fun well maintained course! Friendly staff. A little pricey. Driving range is inconvenient from the parking lot/club house especially if you are carrying your bag. Need a drive up loop!

Amazing course. Plenty of challenge. There are several deceptive water shots, but nothing that will frustrate you to the point of throwing your clubs. Greens are always in great shape.

A four only because I only used the range, which was in beautiful shape, but the water table in this area is so high and we had so much rain that it was just too soggy. Course appeared to be in very good shape. Wish I could have played it.

Course is set well for amateurs. Rough is not too long and few bunkers. But the doglegs are challenging and the length is there with 5 tee choices.
