The club did an excellent job preparing for our event. The event was well staffed and they even made it possible for my elder parents to sit in chairs with arms. Working with Brook is a lovely experience. The food was good not great. The chicken was not flavorful and the bread was hard. We had about 60 people and the spacing was great to get around and talk to everyone.

Out command had our holiday party there 2022 and we has a great time. I can't speak for the rest of the facilities or amenities, but the event coordinator, Brook, was amazing to work with. If you're planning a wedding reception or party, be sure to check them out.

Nice course open to the public. Being new to the area, I find it odd that no one helps with your bag or offers to clean clubs after your round. Maybe that's just the way it goes. I like the course layout. The back nine is very pretty.

I really liked the design of the course. Plenty of doglegs to keep it interesting and some picturesque holes by water. Not a fan of the conditions. Fairways were rocks, greens all marked, tee boxes so so. It also looks like they removed a lot of bunkers which I'm not sure why. Could have used more challenges around the greens. Still a fun round. I played in a scramble so not sure about the cost. If the right price I would go back.

Best course hands down. New owners recently came in and took it from good to great. New carts with USB port for charging etc. The carts themselves were like Land Rovers....the staff and the owners were so great.... I applied to work there part time with the carts crew and it's almost been a year. Unfortunately my career is relocating me but I will always consider this place home. King, watson, thanks for such a experience. PABLO ....I'll be back

Awesome experience. It was my first time there and I wasn’t aware of how the Sunday buffet worked. It would have been nice to have been greeted and informed . The food was delicious, the service was good, and the entertainment and dancing was delightful! I’ll definitely be back!

Played Cypress today July 12 it was in great shape. Played from the back tees which play out to about 6400 solid challenges throughout with plenty of scoring opportunities. Greens were in good shape, played a little slower than I like but nothing to complain about. Got food at the turn it was quick and staff was very courteous.

If you are visiting Virginia Beach, This is the course you want to play! The Greens and Fairways are Always in Great Shape! But more importantly it’s just a super fun track with a lot of Birdie opportunities (as I did on the first hole). As a local this is one of my Top 3 favorite public course in Virginia Beach! 16, 17, and 18 will test you at the end so play smart to close out!

I would like to start by saying the course was lovely. My experience on the course was not the greatest. It may be that they over book and do not allow for any buffer time; therefore for me the game felt rushed. It was a beautiful day today and we wanted to enjoy a nice day on the course and we were told we had to “pick it up?” We were waiting on the players ahead of us so I’m assuming everyone felt the same. Rushed. Other than that it could have been a 5 star for me.

This course drainage is amazing. One of the best I've seen in long time. Beautiful layout, very friendly staff and the drainage is the icing on a cake. Played there in rain and never saw a puddle any where. It definitely got my vote

One man band is good with our favor music for ballroom dancing club. Very nice staff. But food is not as good as the other place. We were really enjoyed it.

Just moved from San Antonio, for $48 (mil discount) on a weekend morning is an amazing deal. I was pleasantly surprised with this golf course. Tee grass was a tad long other than that the fairways were great and the greens were in fantastic shape. Will be going here again.

Nothing bad to say. Love this golf course. Played my first round January 2019. Friendly staff, nice layout. The bar area is comfortable. The course was is great shape all things considered. I look forward to coming back. Back again, this place is consistent. They run it right! And the food is pretty damn good too.

Beautiful course but,... This is a membership club that allows public play. (Nice, right?) Course was in very good shape and fun to play. The greens were consistent. I only give it three stars because of our experience. We played fast golf and let singles and twosomes play through, and still felt rushed. My junior golfers hit the ball well and can keep up with many adult players. (Par players on Par 3's and bogey to double bogey players on Par 5's) This club, on the day we played, had a dominance of upper level players that just made us feel super-pushed. (Two guys that played through as singles, were driving the ball well over 200 yards.) Not anyone's fault...just took a lot of the enjoyment out of it. We'd go back if we could find a day when there's typically fewer players on the course. Nice staff in the pro shop and restaurant. If you have junior golfers, this might not be the best option.

Far superior to most VB public courses. Entire course is in great shape, big shout out to the greenskeepers and the entire course staff. Grill food is a little slow but good, call ahead. We called from the eighth tee box and ordered buffalo chicken wraps, weren’t even on the menu ( which you can’t see from the website) and they were great. Course condition on par with a private club.

Had a good time with my family playing golf. Great customer service! Was the last one on the coarse and had a good time and guys working were just awesome. Greens are well kept and the food there is real good! Coarse is also real long. Some might like that and some not so much!

Great course and even better staff. Play here several times a month and enjoy the atmosphere . The greens are ALWAYS in great shape and the course is set up perfectly to walk. If you come to VB I would recommend giving CYPT a go!

Went in for a business lunch(yes, open to the public). Relaxed, food pretty good, prices fair and great views of the greens. Overall a nice place you wouldn't think of to have a quiet lunch. Will do it again.

This facility is top notch!! Hands down, best maintained course in Hampton roads that you do not need membership to play. The staff is amazing too. Matt really treats you like you’re a member!

Course fairways were kept up. The roughs however were abnormally high. I get it, just keep your drive on the fairway, but lets be honest we are not all PGA golfers.....so my point is validated. The prices for 18 & cart was on the high side. I can golf on a better more difficult course for the same price or substantially lower price.

We had a Sunday Father's Day brunch. The food was better than average but not as good as I expected for the price and for an upscale golf course in the area. Service was really good staff was very attentive and friendly.

Course was in great shape ...sand traps actually have playable sand in them ...greens were fast, receptive and true. The golf carts are the most comfortable you will ever ride in and have working USB ports.

I am giving the country club 3 stars not for the wedding I attended on Saturday night but for the way I was treated by one of the staff working in the golf shop the very next day. I ran a tab behind the bar and in our rush to get the shuttle bus back to our hotel I neglected to pick up my credit card. I phoned the country club immediately the next morning ( Sunday) and spoke with somebody in the golf shop whoever I was speaking to seemed courteous and explained that the staff would arrive in a half an hour and that I could come and retrieve my credit card. Upon arriving at the country club there was no one at the front desk or the bar where we were served. I tried to grab someone's attention but I guess they couldn't hear me. So I proceeded down to the golf shop just down the hall to see if someone could assist me there. I explained my situation to the gentleman behind the counter, there was also another staff member there. He was immediately dismissive and rude. He told me that the wedding bar was all locked up and that nothing could be done about my card, until Monday. I tried to explain the situation again and he again was dismissive. I told him that I called and that whoever answered the phone (golf shop)told me that the staff would be in and I could come and get it then. He again was dismissive. I then asked him was there anyone he could ask or call he said no and that I would not be able to get my card until tomorrow. Frustrated at this point I knew was dealing someone who was unwilling to help or thought he was above giving that help. He also asked the other staff member in the store did he know what I was talking about, like I was some kind of idiot. Now I knew I was dealing with an ignoramus. I left the shop and then found another staff member . She immediately checked the bar, and then simply called the manager to find where my card had been kept for safe keeping. Thanks to the lady who was kind enough to help me get my card back so we could begin our journey home. So within 2 mins and one small hallway, I went from not being unable to get my card until Monday to being able to get my card back with absolutely no problem at all. Learning that I was indeed able to get my card back with ease the burly gentleman in the golf shop exclaimed " good for you" with the same arrogance and disdain that he had treated me with in the first place.
