Decent golfing experience. Very nice clubhouse; rather small for the area however neat and clean. The course was firm on the day we played. Very fast greens due to little to no water being on the course. Most fairways were clean. One hole on the front nine was a bit rough but over a smooth open course ti plan and improve your skill on. I would recommend playing here for beginner players. More experienced players would fine much challenge with this course.

Bow Creek was a pleasant surprise! After reading some of these negative reviews, our expectations were pretty low. There was one hole under construction and another that had lots of bare patches on the fairway, but otherwise it was in great shape! The greens were really nice, the fairways were pretty, even the rough was free of vines and overgrowth! We will def play Bow Creek again!

I love me a good public course! The staff is friendly enough, the course is absolutely ok, the greens roll truer than a hedgehog. The prices are good.

Tucked behind a recreational center, Bows Creek hides inside a small suburban neighborhood. The clubhouse, like the recreational center, is a modern and simple design. The staff are very inviting to the players, much like the course itself. It presents a very welcoming place to players new and old. Truly a place that grows the game. The course gives the player simple tee shots and safe second shots, which is refreshing in a time where every course tries to be the hardest course around. Once you get close to the hole, you find the nuance on the greens. The greens are complex enough to engage a PGA pro, with perfect speeds on the fantastically well-kept bent grass. They are small and teach many the importance of short game. Fairways are kept very natural, with no over-seeding in the winter. The beautiful natural light yellow of dormant grass makes a picturesque view of the course and working-class neighborhoods that border the course. Bow Creek also provides players with several long par 3s, which many municipals lack in the area. Due to the renovation, many things are not at perfect levels. Casual water and mud can be found around the course during late 2020. Many bunkers were in bad form, not being well maintained since they are to be changed in the next year. Grass in the winter was a bit longer on tees and fairways than someone would like. To someone just visiting, its 4 stars. For now. Until the renovation is complete in the next year, some elements of great golf will not be there. But I expect to continue to play this course frequently, and look forward to giving it 5 stars after construction.

Great course to test ur iron skills and long 2nd shots with fairway woods and hybrids, on par 4s as well if playing consertavily. I would give it a try. I only played the back 9 in very windy weather. Good shape course with the greens right now are being worked on (not sure the process they are in) and putting can be hard to keep the ball rolling over due to it, but there in good shape...I would say in 3 weeks the greens will be grown up, and filled in a little better, and u got no issues. Played golf with my Son-In-Law back in the summer. Everything about the golf course was nice, layout of the fairways, greens, hole selections, tee boxes. The only issue that made the scores high that day was drainage. Do not go play this course on a rainy day or the day after. The water has nowhere to go and just sits on the course. Bunkers were so full of murky water that I lost a ball in one.

The course is almost always in great condition, staff is short handed right now, but still helpful and nice. The greens are a little on the slow side so practice before going out. For 9 or 18 holes, it's a great value though.

This is a great cheap course. The driving range is functional. The greens are extremely small, and there are plenty of bizzar shots. If your not a course snob, you'll have a good time. Don't go here thinking it's not going to be on the rough side, but I always enjoy a round here.

I used to hate Bow Creek, but it's gotten nicer. The clubhouse is new and the greens are in good shape. There are some bare spots on the fairways and not all tee boxes are great, but it's a pretty good value course.

It's got the basic necessities that a golf course needs and has reasonable prices. The driving range is okay, but if you're really trying to improve your swing and aim this might not be the best place to train. The actual course is decent, but it's surrounded by the neighborhood and you can easily hit someone's house if you're an average golfer. All around you'll have a good time but if you're an above average golfer you probably want to try somewhere else such as Honey Bee or Hell's Point.

This is a great low key, laid back course!! Little hidden treasure. Affordable, descent greens, drainage can get a little crazy after rains, but well worth the price!!!

Very well maintained greens and fast. Front 9 fairways wide and forgiving. Back 9 tight and challenging. Good day of golf. Usually not crowded on weekdays.

Attended a public meeting on drainage and flood control in the Bow Creek Rec Center. The meeting rooms and facility are new, pleasant, and appreciated by those individuals and organizations using them.

Golf course is a bit rough. A few greens are shot. Rough needs to be cut. Sand traps that aren't filled with water are mud or concrete.
