Played Wentworth for the first time last week. Was met with a warm welcome and great service from Kevin. I preferred to play alone and they let me do that, which I really appreciated. The course was well maintained and I had a blast playing it. Will definitely come back

First time on this course. I'm by FAR not a good golfer....but, the course was so mushy. While we were on the back half. The guy mowing kept coming around! At first, I was like, well...he has a job. And I tried to hurry (which is never good for a beginner). And, then he came back behind up to mow the grass for the rest of the holes. Also, they were putting the fertilizer and sand on the greens. The guy apologized, but it was quite annoying. There was some pretty gross areas for the cart to have to pass through and the sprinklers were on at one of the holes! I mean, it was really annoying. Again, I'm like beginner level -100!!! And it's hard for me to concentrate and think about what I need to do different, what I did on the last hole where I hit the ball fairly well, and where to even HIT the ball. The signage is very simple and uninformative besides what hole you're on. The proshop....let's just say that it was OBVIOUS that we weren't in a very welcoming place....so, overall....the houses were beautiful to look at, but the course isn't worth the time...sorry.

Danielle you and your staff did an amazing job for our son’s wedding rehearsal luncheon. All 50 guests said how the food was amazing and the setting was just perfect. We can’t thank you enough for making part of that amazing weekend a little less stressful. Wish I could give 100 stars

I played at Wentworth a quite a few times last winter and spring. I like everything about Wentworth ! Great setting, course and clubhouse. Staff were friendly and helpful. Challenging course, can't wait to play next time.

Had a fun time at Wentworth. The course layout is very challenging and rewards people being very accurate. The course isn't very long 6400 and The slope is 142 from the tips. This course could use a little TLC. The greens have some problems around the edge and the several of the fairways have some goat ranches around the edges. The main part of the fairways looked in good shape , but who plays there? We paid around 28 each for the round and that was definitely a fair price. I'll certainly add Wentworth to the regular rotation, if not only to be able to go to Toula's for breakfast.

Our Wedding was at the Wentworth Golf Club last November. It was absolutely beautiful! This venue is beautiful and was perfect for my vintage theme. The food was delicious. We had a last minute change and Annette & Alton went above and beyond to make sure everything went perfectly on my big day! Our guests all had a wonderful time and we couldn't be more happy!

Extraordinary value. 5 stars every time I come to dine or play or both. The owner is cleaning up some things on the course but they take time. Great guy though! For the price and overall content, Wentworth gets my monthly golf allowance.

Golfed there today 5/13 with 3 others. Never been there before, read the reviews and was not looking forward to the day. Don’t know why the reviews were or are like they are but the course was very nice, very challenging and the greens were phenomenal to me but I’m not an expert. Can’t wait to golf there again!!!

Wentworth GC is a great track in northern Pinellas County. 18 holes around 6500yrds from the tips. Practice green and range. Also Mulligan's Irish Pub for food/drinks.

Always enjoy playing Wentworth. The tee boxes and fairways are a mess. The greens however were in really good shape. No sure why the tee boxes and fairways are in such bad shape. Hoping things turn around in the future.

Played here in the past. This was the worst it’s ever been. So much potential. Too many bunker and bad pin placements for this type of course. Need to make it more user friendly. Fairways were like a cow pasture. Very disappointed this time. A shame for such a beautiful location. The restaurant is awesome. Always has been good.

Out exploring, found this place in gated community with golf course.. mulligans pub... great service..we tried fish and chips...not good, fish was super greasy no flavor, could not finish it..chips were good crispy and fresh..not the fish

I played Wentworth yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised.I seen a couple negative reviews but I thought I would give it a try. A challenging track but a fair one. I drove over from St Pete and I will be back. By the way I had a 83 from the white tees, I am 63 years young so I don't play the tips.

Seems like they are short staffed. Took attendant 15 minutes to find our tee time He was more concerned with answering the phone instead of clearing out the Line in the pro shop.. Restaurant was more of the same... No one there to o wait on you.. Course is kinda putt putt golf style as there are a few greens that will not allow the ball to stay on the green no matter how close to the pin u hit the ball. Oh! Can someone get out a Memo and tell golfers to rake the bunkers!

Love the course but the sand traps need to be better maintained. Some are raked while others are not. The greens were slow but in great shape. The fairways have dry spots but we are in a drought so that is to be expected.

Played it today and absolutely loved it. The fareways are cut very short and the greens are very fast. It is very tight which makes it a placement course with bunkers and water just in the wrong places(lol).

I have been a member at Wentworth for the past 3-4 years since I moved into the community. Recently my friend and I had an encounter with an old gentleman who the staff calls “Pops” who works at the cart barn. He was very rude to my friend and impolite. Even if the course plays well and is a good course it means nothing if the staff is not trained well. If this guy named “Pops” confronts my friend and I again and shows no respect, we will have a conversation with the General manager (Richard) who does a great job managing the course and staff. Richard is understanding and when faced with a problem he kindly finds the solution to make sure everyone is satisfied. But overall I would say the course is decent but definitely requires more work to be put in, hopefully with the new owners it improves. The range is fine however does need new mats, and people should be able to hit on the grass even if they are not using a tee. Once your done enjoying playing golf, Mulligans Pub is a nice restaurant to whine down and eat bar food while socializing with friends and or family.

Greens are perfect. Fairways are okay but maintenance crew seems to like putting tire tracks on soft ground. They just drive the equipment without concern. One guy ignored us trying to play through while he continued to cut the brush. Mgmt needs to get control of them before they wreck the course.

Very nice golf course. A string of holes toward the end of the second nine are very impressive for a course open to the public. Range is lacking (hitting off mats) and a few of the tee boxes need work but fairways are fine, bunkers well-maintained and the greens are in excellent shape. Restaurant is fine - nice space and good pub fare.

This is a very nice golf course with reasonable fees. It was well maintained for the most part. The tee boxes were a little rough but when I played it was the end of season so its expected. There are plenty of challenges throughout the course which kept it exciting. The carts are nice and the irish pub is very traditional.

Course is well maintained, greens are really nice, but had an unpleasant experience with an old gentlemen who I believe manages the golf carts. Never have I ever been disrespected like that at Wentworth ever in all of my years going there.

Well designed course at a reasonable price. Not pressurized playing round because of overbooking. Greens in great shape, fairways can be a bit wet on some holes if it's rained recently. Clubhouse offers full bar and restaurant, pro shop well stocked. Employees have always been friendly and helpful. Friends think it's a tight course, I've always enjoyed the layout. Keep your shots in the fairway or you're going to go through a bunch of balls.

Greens are in great shape. Fairways were rough but they had just overseeded so I'm sure they will improve. Back nine was really tough for a hacker like me. Take time to have a bite at the Irish Pub on property. It was very good.

Nice course, too many bunkers. Counted 8 on just 1 hole alone. Lot of water hazards also. Toughest course I've played in quite some time. Shot a 110 and lost at least 6 balls. Price doesn't warrant the condition of the course. Would go back at lees expense. $200.00 for a 4 some. I've never played a course with as many bunkers.

Oh my gosh. This was once a great Golf Course. Right now I can't really give it that rating. I don't know how some of these holes were playable when it was once in top shape, but given the minimal attention to Course maintenance that the finances of force now, some of the holes are just ridiculous. the prices are okay, and it's a fun day out in the sun, but I don't think I'm going to be going back there.

We had First Communion event for our son this year. Allison, Jessie and Scott were very helpful in setting everything up. We were a little nervous about the venue but the whole management changed few months back and they have a new cook who did excellent job. The reception room is pretty and looked beautiful after we set up decorations. Allison gave us a few hints which worked great. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. We also went for Mother's Day event this year and it was very, very nice with lots of delicious food, sweats, beautifully set up tables etc. I think it was just perfect.

Played Wentworth for the first time today Challenging but fun course. You really have to know where to place your shots to score well. Abundance of water and bunkers strategically placed. Will be high on our list next trip to Florida. If you haven't played Wentworth we highly recommend you give it a try.

This is a great course to play. It looks easy when you start but you quickly realize that its challenging. Hills and sight obstacles between the tee and holes make it fun.

The course is reasonably priced - currently in Oct 2019 it’s $15 if you get out after 4pm! The beers are $22 for a six pack of domestics which is reasonable as well. They have a good sized banquet room for weddings and other events - I was out for a charity golf tournament and they had 100+ people in there.

I'm a local wedding planner and I can't say enough about this venue. I had a wedding there and the staff was all so friendly and helpful. They kept in coonstant communication with everything through the night. I can't wait to work with them again. If your looking for a beautiful venue who goes above and beyond contact them!

I really liked the layout and the greens are great. Putts are fast and true. The course demands precision shots as many holes are tight with little room for bailout. Par threes in particular are very challenging. Now the bad....fairways are in rough shape, and so are the tee blocks. Chips around the green require a carefully crafted scull because there is no grass under the ball. I would give it 4 stars if tees and fairways improve.

One of my favorite places to golf. It's a tough course with fast greens. Always in great shape. The pace of play can be a little slow at times. I never encountered any rude employees. There's a cart girl about half the time.

Greens were punched, but not too bad. Tee boxes were small and filled with sand (under repair I guess), so not much room to stand. Ranger met us walking off 9th green and said we were backing up the whole course, even though we played in 1 hour and 55 minutes as a foursome. Just puts a bad taste in my mouth. Finished the round in 3 hours and 45 mins, but I guess that's too slow at this place.

Pro shop counter help acted like he wanted to be somewhere else, not helpful or welcoming for first timers. Course decent shape but in need of course Marshall to keep things moving, very slow group a few ahead of us. Finally just skipped the last 6 holes because of the backlog. Not really a country club atmosphere more like a country course was allot of kids and sunday drinkers not observing golf etiquette.

This is a target specific golf course. Meaning that if you do not hit it where you need to that scores will be higher. You will use most of thw club's in your bag here. Conditions have improved with recent rains.

Woooahhh Nelly! Put on your big boy pants for this one! Awesome course, but very challenging! Long par 5s, lots of water on the back 9 and trees line every fairway tightly. Mulligan's at the 19th is kick butt, great draft selection, food is yummy and fair priced. Public course, but feels like a private CC. I gave it a FORE and left a dozen balls along the way, too. Tee it up!

Hosted our BNI Networking Group Holiday Party at Wentworth last evening. 100% of all the staff went above and beyond for our group of 80. The room decor was perfect thanks to Annette and the food was incredible thanks to Alton and his kitchen staff. Wentworth is a hidden gem right in North Pinellas. Very reasonable rates and the Bar package offers many options which is what we were looking for! Great job Wentworth staff!
