Great little course that has a lot of interest and variety, but what was most impressive were the conditions from tees to greens. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had a lot of fun, and even tho we booked it as a warm up course on our first day of a golf trip, I'd play it again without hesitation.

The Groves is a great Golf Course little par 3 couple challenging holes. They have a little Hidden Gem called The Back 9 Bistro the service was amazing the food was even better I heard the owner is a former Tampa Bay Bucs cheerleader it's a small place but great atmosphere I was suggest checking it out on the ninth hole

First time playing at this course, the course is in phenomenal shape, greens are amazing, its also a rare instance where you get to use your driver if you have distance. Definitely a conservative players course.

Just moved in last week. Has one main road that goes in a circle. All others connect. Guarded entrance requires regostration to enter. Not over bearing. All of this makes it enjoyable.

Played there for the first time this week. The guys in pro shop was extremely friendly and helpful. Although the course is not long it still tests you to make golf shots. The fairways we're in great condition and greens were rolling true and quick. No doubt we will be back when we are in the area .

What a beautiful place! Not big on length but big on shot making. Greens were immaculate! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here! Staff was super friendly! Will definitely be back!

This is a beautiful (mostly par-3) golf course! Well kept, friendly staff, golf carts are in great shape, food is excellent, overall a great course! We just moved to the area and we are so happy we found it! Great rates, but it is a shorter course. Highly recommend it!

It is a great short course. There’s a lot of pride in ownership here. Great tee boxes. Great fairways/rough and great greens. The bunkers actually have sand which is nice! You won’t hit driver much but the layout is challenging enough you don’t mind. Great for kids too. Very reasonable rates. Will enjoy again.

Great course, the yardage may be short but this course plays much different than you would expect. I played multiple rounds at this course during my recent vacation and had fun each time. Would recommend and will revisit

The course may be shorter, but that means they have easier access to take care of the fairways and greens, which they do very well. I have never seen either in bad shape. They are also working to make the course longer, adding new difficulty to it. It's one of the only courses I've seen in the area renovate and put money back into the course. There's always a ranger on duty and rarely any waiting on the group in front of you. GPS in the cards and the prices are completely reasonable.

This is one of the hidden gems in Sarasota. A par 65 course with undulating greens, hilly fairways and lots of reasons to hit it straight. Plays like a much longer course. This is my "go to course in Sarasota, I play it at least twice a month

Great place to get a round in. The course makes you think thru your shots. Watch out for hole # 10 when u meet the neighbors and hole # 18 and that U turn ! Definitely recommend and will be back !

My husband and I have played this golf course for a long time back when it was only 9 holes. What we liked was the challenge, yet it's not so long for those nearing their twilight years. We said what a great place to retire to. Yes we did retire here and love the course. The course is in one of the best shapes in years. We have new sand traps and greens. Drop By

Great price and course is in great winter shape. Fairways have been over seeded so you don't have the typical tight lie like most courses. Greens are in good shape and put at an average speed. Very short holes with drivable par 4s. Good course management is needed when playing. I got greedy on most holes and always got in trouble...fight the temptation to go for everything.

Greatest shortest course I've ever played. Don't have to be long but bring your accuracy. Staff is super friendly and course is in best shape. The beer was cold and the hotdog was awesome. Don't over look this course you will be sorry.

My dad and I have gone here several times the past year. Its more of a drive than some other courses but well worth it. Great prices for a well kept course. Generally these prices get you a course thats a bit of a mess, but not here. The employees are nice too.

Solid small course if you need some practice with your short game. Has a nice driving range with targets over the water and friendly staff. I've golfed here numerous times without an issue and the course is always in good condition.

The golf greens were just grand! Luscious, not to hard but not to easy. Plenty of sand, water, and marsh traps. However we did go in for a hot dog and the bartender was just not having a good day. At first we were the only ones there trying to get a hot dog and pay. But then more people came in and he kept on taking everyone else's money but ours and we had a tee time to make. So my husband had to leave while I sat waiting for the check. So overall great experience but the grill eh.

The Groves golf and Country club has a charming setting with an excellent layout for golfers of every level. Aside from the actual course play, the staff is polite and helpful. Walk-ins are welcome, as well and they always pencil me into the schedule with little inconvenience. The golf pro is always helpful, too. His lessons are well-priced and thorough.

This 18 hole course interwinds through a beautiful residential community. The environment is well maintained. A couple of the holes turn out to be quite challenging. Playing here is fun. A ranger drives around to offer help whenever help is required. Membership is available, and the course is also open to the public. There is a pro-shop in the club house, next to an aquatic driving range and putting green for practice. The 19th hole is The Groves Grill that has a bar, dining room and ballroom.

Great short course. Can get crowded at times. Pace of play is generally quick, around 2.5-3 hours. Tees/Fairways/Greens in great condition.
