Played 18 of the 27 holes at this course a few days ago and was very impressed. The staff was especially friendly and accommodating. Nice driving range. Pace of play was perfect, finished in 3.5 hours. Course was in great looking shape for December. The layout has some nice challenges (double dog leg, back to back par 5's - one of which is pretty long). Restrooms along the course were very clean and maintained. Simply put, I had a good enough time on Thursday to book another round 2 days later on Saturday. I think it's a hidden gem of a course.

Great pricing. There are three 9 hole courses on site. Most of the putting greens were in good shape. Plenty of par 5 holes, and some long par 3's. Tried to make a return tee time, but were booked solid. Will definitely come back.

Our spring break coincided with the southern grand and Florida state shoot. We liked it here. Camper spaces were tight and the one we were in had no sewer hook up. Other than that the place was nice and a lot of fun. There's a laundry facility and restaurants in the club houses. Nice clean pool and lots of places to walk in the nice weather. It's quiet too as it's far from the city.

The course sits in the back of a manufactured housing community/RV Park. Back in the day, it was rumored that more than 20 multimillionaires would park their formidable RVs at Silver Dollar for the season and enjoy both trap shooting and golf. A lesser-known fact is that several well-known professional wrestlers used to play at the course regularly. Names like (Flyin’) Brian Pillman, Brian (Crush) Adams, (Dangerous) Dan Spivey, Paul (Big Show) Wight, and Mark (Undertaker) Calaway could often be found playing in weekly games or creating games of their own. There are three 9-hole layouts at Silver Dollar meaning there are three unique 18-hole combinations. The Gator/Panther combination is the one most played however, throw in the Bobcat nine and you can have all kinds of fun and challenging golf. As you make your way around each of the three nines you’ll encounter the usual golf hazards with trees, bunkers, and water features that will test and entertain you. Narrow, tree-lined fairways are often complemented with generous landing areas which are great for beginners. Some sparkling lakes and ponds come into play on a few holes and strategically placed bunkers are situated around many greens. Paspalum greens provide excellent rolling putting surfaces! The Gator nine plays 3,003 yards from the White Tees with a par of 37. Water is present on at least 7 holes but only comes into play on about 3 or 4 of them. Gator starts with a relatively short 319-yard par 4, dogleg left. The green sits directly beyond the large evergreen trees and just past the retention pond on the left side. With a good drive, it is reachable if you know where the right line is. Otherwise, hit your tee shot down the left side of the fairway past the dogleg and you’ll have a short pitch shot into a small, elevated green. Bunkers guard each side of the green and there’s a small pond right of the cart path. Par or better can be had and get your round off to a great start. The Panther nine plays 2,974 yards from the White Tees and plays to a par of 35. This layout places more of a premium on accuracy than on length. The last three holes can make or break your round. For some reason, the Bobcat layout seems to be the forgotten nine, but we found it quite challenging. The first hole is one of the property’s most interesting, a short par 5 that wraps around the driving range on the right with a chain-link fence down the right side. It’s a great risk-reward hole because you can go over as much of the driving range as you want and shorten your approach shot. Take the driving range out of play and play down the left side, and it’s a definite three-shot hole. Live oaks on either side of the fairway as you approach the green seem to shrink the fairway. The green is large and fairly flat. Another opportunity to make up a stroke or get started on the right foot. Silver Dollar Golf Club has some of the best practice facilities in the area. For starters, there’s a full-length driving range where you can hit every club in the bag. Then, there is a putting and chipping green complete with sand trap, two putting greens, and to top it off, 3 practice holes. For $6, you can play the three practice holes as many times as you like! There’s no reason not to be ready when you hit the first tee. With an in-season rate of just $38 for greens fees and cart, Silver Dollar is affordable by anyone’s standards. Other courses in the area are charging twice that rate. If you’re competitive and looking to get in a game at Silver Dollar, you’ll find them just about every day of the week. I used to live in the area about 20 years ago and played a money game every Friday afternoon. Head Golf Professional Ron Hoffman who returned to Silver Dollar a few years ago, has been able to keep that game going all this time.

Great track with reasonable price. It is located inside of a RV Park/ Retirement community and has nice amenities for a public course. The clubhouse has 2 bars, grill with solid lunch options, and some TVs to watch your favorite game.

There for a pvt party.... didn't play golf. The overwhelming amout mobile homes and RVs on property were not expected. More like a KOA than golf club. Event space was nice. Restroom was beautiful.

Great course with three 9 hole courses at a great price. In late March early April there's a major trap shoot that occurs and only slightly affects one of the courses and the driving range.

Great course for the money. Has a decent amount of hazards to take into account. You have to be more technical at times but overall its a very forgiving and fun to play course. Plenty of par 5 holes to let loose and take risks. Staff and locals are incredibly friendly as well. I've seen a decent number of gators in the water though so fair warning if you have a bad shot.

Staff was very nice but the course isn't in the best of shape. May be seasonal issues but lots of weeds, mixed grasses and the rough is ridiculously long. Lots of wildlife though.

Extremely well kept, including the golf course, gun ranges ( Yes there is more than one ) and the areas surrounding the golf course are immaculate. All of the residents that we talked to were extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend this facility for your golfing and range shooting. They are very professional at the shooting range. We loved this course and played it alot. Tried to ask the rate and the guy was so rude. No problem we will stay at eagles where it less for 18 then it is for 9 here.

The course is challenging, great for long ball strickers. The greens are well taking care of. Most of the regular staff are friendly. A few are rude, and it's every time, not as if these few individuals just a bad day. Other than the rudness, its an awesome place to golf.

My snow-bird parents live here during the winter. Nothing special but we always have a good time. The golf course is fairly open and not difficult, even from the back tees. Trap range is decent as well.

The greens are in great shape for Silver Dollar right now. The only draw back today was we were forced to play the same 9 holes twice since they had a BFO going. Staff is generally friendly and the rules are more relaxed then other courses.

Although Silver Dollar is probably best known for their Trap Shooting facilities, the golf course is no slouch. This is a 27 hole course, split into three nines. They are named the Gator, Panther, and Bobcat. My personal favorites are the Gator, followed by the Panther. Most fairways are fairly open, but there are plenty of water hazards. The bunkers are fairly forgiving - no super high walls or deep pits. The staff are all friendly and accommodating, and I can't speak highly enough for manager Bobby C. (I won't attempt to mangle the spelling of his last name - even he introduces himself as simply Bobby C.). This course is far enough away from suburbia that you see an abundance of wildlife. I've seen gators, wild turkeys, deer, and dozens of species of water foul. Typically, one only hears the sounds of nature, but on weekends it is not uncommon to hear the trap shooters across road, mostly from the adjacent Panther course. A nice plus is that if you feel like getting some exercise, skip the cart and get one of the wheeled bag totes they offer. Do it for just nine or take in 18 - it is a very good walk-able course. The fairways are well maintained, the greens at some times during the year can be a bit dry and slow, but rarely scarred. Most hazards or out of bounds areas to the sides of the fairways are well marked. However, a number of the holes have a water hazard (creek or canal) guarding the green. Many of these are not visible from even halfway down the fairway, making for sometimes challenging lay up decisions. The greens fees are extremely reasonable, usually lower than most of the nearby courses. I call this my best kept secret (well, not any more). I usually hit this course with some of my neighbors, and always have a great time.

I love to go out their park on side of road and watch the deer eat.some times you see baby also.then I go to the restaurant they have and get dinner very good. They close at 7 so get there early.

Zum Silver Dollar Golfclub verirrt man sich nicht als Tourist. Man kann für ein extrem kleines Geld Golf spielen. Für das wenige Geld, dass man zahlst ist der Satz gut in Schuss. Abzüge gibt es nur für den in den USA extrem seltenen Fall: der Service im Clubhaus war extrem unfreundlich. Aber vielleicht konnte er auf einfach nur Deutsche nicht leiden;-) (Translation) You don't go to the Silver Dollar Golf Club as a tourist. You can play golf for extremely little money. For the little money that you pay, the set is in good shape. There are only deductions for the extremely rare case in the USA: the service in the clubhouse was extremely unfriendly. But maybe he just didn't like Germans ;-)
