Reviews of Rogers Park Golf Course
EmilyThis review is for driving range experience only. This is a great POC and women-friendly range. I was really happy to see this course was established by a Black man and continues to have a lot of Black customers. There were people receiving lessons from a very enthusiastic and friendly trainer next to me. I think next time I’ll come back and get a few lessons from him. All experience levels welcome here and large bucket of balls was $14. They have a good sized cafe (with beer) and you can buy anything you need from the shop.
Jack DempseyRogers Park Golf Course has a beautiful scenery with a variety of animals and birds. There is no worries of having a stray ball hit a house or car making for a relaxing game. The layout, condition, and pace of play are better than most in the area
Travis “Ginger stacks”I love this course (happens to be right by my house) but still overall it’s a great course. There are definitely some tough golf shots. Greens are all ways in good condition for Florida! Never gets to wet no plugging even in the wettest months! And they have three properties check out Rocky Point!
Jorge RodriguezRoger's Park is an excellent municipal course. The Tampa Sports Authority has invested wisely on the grounds development and maintenance. A new 9 hole, par 3 chip and putt being added to this 18 hole facility which may be ready Spring 2023. The YMCA'S First Tee Of Tampa youth golf program is based here and offers an outstanding opportunity for Tampa youth to find and learn the great game of golf.
Jason FoosCourse is in good shape for this time of year. Tee boxes are a little beat up from the summer season but not too bad. Greens were running fast today. Newer golf carts are nice. Pace of play was a little slow but the weather was beautiful and the course was busy, so it's to be expected. Still a fun course!

Ronald WynneThe historical aspect in itself make this golf course a must play. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by some of the most dedicated and knowledgeable individuals in the golf business. They have really cracked the code on service with a smile. The club Pro, T.J., is professional, approachable and just a plain nice person. I'm from the Midwest and played several days in January. I was so impressed I'm going back again in February. In closing, I'll admit that this is a City of Tampa owned golf course with obvious issues, however, as in life, I chose to focus on the positive...
