Great executive golf course! Everything a good short course could be. The only thing missing is a practice range, but if you can do without one it's very nice golfing experience. I will certainly go back again!! Just a fun course, with a very friendly and helpful staff!!

The staff was so friendly and helpful. This is a short course that puts an emphasis on shot making. Greens were a little furry but for the money it’s a great deal. Me and my friends had a great experience. Thank you mainlands golf course.

I have played some of the best courses in Florida but something about this course makes me love it. Maybe because of the openness and very forgiving. The staff is extremely friendly and the price is affordable. There are only a few holes where I can actually lose a ball and a few holes where you have to actually pay attention to the houses on the side. Every hole has its own personality and it is a great course for practice. Some holes are tight and some holes are extremely open where you can slice it a mile and still be playable. The pace of play was also good with a great proshop. This is definitely my favorite course and I play innisbrook and Carrollwood alot. It's just simple no stress fun

Nice forgiving coarse for aspiring golfers like myself. Great friendly staff and very reasonable prices. Shorter coarse...I think there is only one par 5 which suits me as someone shooting in the 90s. Nice little bar selection. We get beam and cokes which they usually poor strong. Ice cold water on seemingly every hole. They are a few rough greens, I think 4 that they are rehabbing. All in all, a great place to get in 18 holes after work or the weekends. I've probably golfed there 20x and plan on returning for more fun.

Real honest review for my male audience. If you're looking for a nicer/well maintained course, obviously this ain't it, but if you're anything like me and my boys, this course is exactly what you are looking for. This is the type of course you go to when you get hammered with the boys and rip cigs. And that's exactly what we did. Real nice lady making glizzies over by hole one, they were bussin hard and came in clutch to get us through the back 9. We even kept playing through a massive thunderstorm storm and nobody cared! Carts were pretty fast too. Definitely a good ole boys day that we won't forget

My round of golf went like this today. I will preface this by saying I have been golfing at Mainland's GC for 4 1/2 years every week and played there many times in the past. I love the course and the rates are reasonable 🙄. Since the beginning of the year the rates have fluctuated week to week and recently I have found out that I am responsible for having someone fired because he charged me what I thought was the going rate and didn't know any different until the owner Tyson informed me that he was giving me a discount, all I did was question why the rates are different. I am minding my own business and on the 8th hole an employee at Mainland's makes a point to single me out and tells me that I am responsible for someone getting fired and next time someone does you a favor keep your mouth shut, I get that if that were the case but I never asked for any discount and one was never offered and I paid what they said I owed for the round. I feel terrible that someone lost their source of income. The owner Tyson doesn't seem to care about the situation. The course is great but watch the rates future golfers and question what's up with the fluctuated prices 🤔 Golf On..

Been playing here for several years now to escape the cold up north and always frequent the month of July . Hadn’t played it since last November and I was really impressed at the condition of the course and especially the greens . I have always had a wonderful experience and have enjoyed the wonderful staff, always friendly and accommodating.

Fun, short course inside a retirement community. Great for an irons-only round for us wannabe pros, but do take a 250-300 yard club for the various short par 4s. Driving the par 4 greens must be properly experienced... we all love that eagle putt! Greens are a little slow due to the grass type, but put true mostly. Take the beginners for non-pressure practice rounds, as many of the local 55 and over crew play early.

One of my favorite courses. Get to use all clubs in the bag, and finish a around in under 3 hours. Current month (Aug 2020) offering no cart fees! Thank you, Mainlands :) Currently having an issue on a few of their greens, but still a great value and overall, the course is in good shape.

Nice public golf course. We went out at 11am for $33/ 18 holes. Course didn't have too much water or sand, which made it enjoyable as we are not excellent golfers. Would play here again.

Absolutely great people working in the pro shop. Hands down not the best golf course at all. The greens suck and there are powerlines running through the whole course. I didn't hate it. Ill probably play it again. Honestly the dudes at the pro shop were so cool that I'd give it another go. I had a birdie on one of their par fours so I felt good about the day.

Look, this isn't a country club, or even a county course, the greens could use a lot of work, and there are some power lines. What it is is a decently varied short track, at a great price, with awesome people (staff and players). Don't go here looking for pristine conditions, but do go for a great round of golf regardless.

I called the clubhouse around 10:40 a.m. super cool dude with a Northeastern accentAnswered the phone and got me in with a ride-along non golfer at 11:30.I only had time for 9.The price was so reasonable I don't even remember how much it cost. Bottom line is my wife witnessed me chip in a beauty for birdie after taking a drop cause my drive went in the water on the par 5. We high fived and celebratedand it was definitely one of those moments I will talk about for ever.☺ Greens a lil rough and I still loved it. 😀

nice course for a beginner or a geezer. Greens roll nice, sometimes a little slow, but not always. It's a nice layout with a few interesting holes. Good practice, leave your driver at home. For the most part, the staff is friendly. Good deals in the pro shop.

Course is in VERY GOOD shape(3 others in the area I visited were in horrible shape, fairways to greens!). If you want a great golfing experience! Here you can't miss!!

Not a bad course to play. They over. Load it though and most of those damn Canadians and Pinellas Parker’s have no golf course etiquette. You will be there allllll day. Even if you’re a single or double behind a foursome nobody will let you play through.

Nice, short track. Pretty good shape. Ran into a 5 some on the back nine that slowed everything up, only to find out they don't allow 5 domes. But no ranger.!! Friendly staff.

Hello, I played a round for my birthday on october 14th with three of my friends, I o appreciate a free round for the birthday thanks, but I have to say I have been playing for 6 years. I am really disappointed and now my friends were as well the Conditions were Horrible, Not sure what going on at the golf course, It appears to me they are not taking care of the golf course, the greens if that is what you call them, then that is sad.mostly sand and holes and nothing smooth at all even a temporary green. one green was completely wet you splashed as you walked. No More, Please take care of the course or sell to someone who can care for it.

The course is super short no need to use driver, but you need to know where holes are to score well. Staff is very friendly. Got paired up with a local player who helped me out w the course. You can play 18 in about 3:10...nice cost is good 26.75, 18 w cart...hot dog, sm drink, and chips 😊😊 …

I move to Florida to relax and play some golf. This is the first place I play and went back a couple of times enjoying each time. The course is better then the ones I played in Pennsylvania. I will be going back again.

Fun place to play. Short course but very fun for an easygoing round. I brought my son with me he's under 10 and they were extremely kind and welcoming to my son and I. There was some slow play but the service and the course overshadowed that.

It's a decent course to play on. Nothing fancy, but a nice novice course, that's pretty easy compared to most. The prices were average for what you get. The only downfall to the course was the big powerlines.

Being in my 30's and living in Pinellas county, I must say hands down that this is one of the best. This beautiful and tranquil family owned course is well groomed and in very good condition. They have a pro shop that carries many needed items just in case you forgot, just as I did, and the prices are reasonable and on spot. The course is a PAR 67 course with 3, 4 & 5 PAR holes. Even though the prices I found to already be reasonable, I was told by management upon departure that often they run specials or offer reduced tee times at different times of the day, which gave me many more reasons to come back and play this course. I tested their knowledge about some irons and clubs they offered on site and the staff actually knew what they were talking about, whish was nice for a change, even offering to order me what I needed. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, as if I had already been a part of their golf family for years. Funny, because I almost felt as if I was in a "Cheers" episode hanging at the counter having a beer and in the back of my mind I could hear the shows jingle playing, "Where Everybody Knows Your Name", giving me that warm feeling inside about the course and the people who run it. The proshop also offered me many choices from sandwiches to snacks to even hotdogs. The best part of day that which started my Sunday morning tee off was a Bloody Mary they offered, which made the experience their even more pleasurable and was perfect start to my Sunday. It was "Brunch in a Cup" as I would call it. They hands down deserve this review and I am fortunate to have come across this gem of a golf course and its family who runs it. Who knows, to the person reading this, maybe you'll bump into me or one of the wonderful people I encountered when you make your way over to play and can guarantee you'll experience the same feeling I am raving about. Kudos to the manager and owner, Tyson Duane and his hospitable staff. Great Game of Golf Accompanied by Many Smiles and Good Feelings is what you will get when you visit the Mainlands Golf Course.

We had a perfect day on Mainlands today, played with my 96 year old father. Everybody was friendly except the foursome in front of us, they got a little testy. They weren’t keeping up and I guess they thought we were pressing them. When we finished, I asked and there had been a 30 minute gap.

Small par 67. Good lay out on back nine. Fun course except for #3 and#4. Bit over priced,but still ok. Good time from May to Sept. After that snow birds push everyone else out.

Noticed the prices have gone up recently have not seen any fairways greens that match the prices compared to other courses. Still a decent spot to get a quick round in.

I must say for the price that you pay for 18 holes of golf a cart and a couple of beers for the round outstanding remember I was paying summer rates down there but this golf course was in great shape couple of greens were a little rough but it's understandable people were just unreal friendly great stuff if I could I would golf this course every week great little Retirement Community again people really friendly
