My DJ company, King Entertainment Events (Orlando, FL) performed a wedding at Hunter's Green Country Club over the weekend, and the staff was top-notch. We provided sound for the ceremony, uplights, monogram and DJ Services. From the moment we got there until we left, it was 5-star service across the board. Our load-in was super easy, and the staff was very accommodating. They set the bar high when it comes to wedding venues. Great experience!

Very upscale facility located in North Tampa. I just wish the food serving was a little quicker though. They started serving at 7pm but the food did not get to my table until 8:30pm.

Celebrated the Annual Greater Tampa Realtors holiday party there. Was great space, decorated lovely. Food was tasty. Only recommendation is the parking lot was very dark with no lights on and I had to use the flashlight on my cellphone to see where I was walking.

We recently photographed a wedding at Hunter's Green Country Club and we had an amazing experience! The staff was very professional and extremely helpful. The grounds of the golf club is perfect for some amazing wedding photos. The meal was delicious and everyone had a great time. If you are looking for a golf country club in the Tampa area for a wedding, we definitely recommend Hunter's Green Country Club!

Very picturesque setting with floor to ceiling windows. Have been for a wedding and graduation party. The ballroom is well lit and a decent size, however, the dance floor is a bit small for large parties. The staff is very friendly and the food was much better than expected.

We had the Rough Rider Charity Gold event. Hunters Green did a fabulous job. The buffet at the end of the tournament was really good. The prime rib was fabulous as well as the chicken and all the sides that were served.

I’m a fairly new golfer, and came here with two friends. The course is in great shape, and there are plenty of water stations and restrooms to keep you satisfied. It’s also nice that I didn’t hit any of the residences along the fairways. The course layout was challenging but completely playable.

What can I say… Hunters Green blew me away! Party room was a great size to fit our family. Our food of choice was steak, salmon & chicken. The food was delectable! The Chef was so kind. Elijah the server was incredibly friendly. Bartender Jojo was the talk of the party the next day! & Kelsey hands down is the best host. I can’t say enough good things about the team at Hunters Green. Our party turned out fabulous. Definitely recommend.

I am a wedding planner and I work at a lot of wedding venues, but this venue was outstanding! The reception hall and ballroom were recently renovated so everything looks gorgeous! The ceremony space is just outside. The venue provides you with an arch and market lights for your ceremony. You have everything you could need at this venue. Kelsey, the Events Director was a pleasure to work with and very fast with her communication. And I must rave about Che, the banquets captain. He went above and beyond his role and made sure everything was perfect for my couple. I so appreciate his help, and I hope couples know that if they host their wedding at this venue, they will be completely taken care of. Dream wedding venue!

Course is in great shape. Greens are quick and wavy. Shot a 89. Might have had a foot wedge or two. Water jugs were sparse. That's a concern in Florida. Please fill them. It gets hot.

Played the course for the first time today (1/4/2019). It's a challenging but fair track which doesn't sentence you to death if you're a bit off line with your tee shots. The course is beautifully maintained, and the putting lines on the greens are pretty straightforward. Outstanding practice (putting green, driving range, pitching area) facilities. Courteous, professional staff. Fabulous men's locker room and clubhouse. Though I've seen better. the pro shop is certainly adequate. Excellent food in the cafe/bar. I wouldn't hesitate to play the course again.

My husband and I could not have asked for a more beautiful venue! The entire staff fell nothing short of amazing, they were incredibly intentional from start to finish. Sarah McChesney , the private events coordinator, made sure that every last detail fell into place smoothly. She took my vision of the reception space and amplified it. We received endless compliments on how gorgeous the space was. The reception hall is designed like a sun room with gorgeous glass windows that allow your guests to look upon the golf course and lake. Sarah ordered beautiful tea lights that strung out from the pergola that looked so beautiful at night through the windows. It was so magical! You will not find a more sincere staff than that of Hunters Green. Thank you!!

This is a review of the facility itself as used in a wedding. The building is spacious with very luxe locker rooms. The back porch area features a scenic lake and fire pit area. There is a lobby and ante rooms for cocktails and a large fireplace. The dining area has floor to ceiling Windows. The total room is about one hundred feet by fifty and can be positioned into two rooms. The staff is experienced and friendly but aren't intrusive. This is one of the more upscale places in New Tampa.

This is one of the four clubs that are available when you join the club Corp group of golf courses in the Tampa Bay area. I am happy to report that hunters Green is in great condition, having been through a series of renovations that have really improved the bunkers and the greens. I've always liked this Tom Fazio design course, and I will be happy to play there at any time

The Hunter's Green community in New Tampa is a gated development with a lot to offer; It’s where city life meets nature. The community is a recreational oasis with designated bike lanes, playgrounds, lighted tennis, basketball, volleyball, soccer, and baseball facilities, a jogging trail with a 15-station exercise circuit, and an off-leash dog park. At the center of the community is Hunter's Green Country Club, a scenic, Tom Fazio design that showcases his imagination without compromising environmental integrity. This unique and picturesque track was carved from native wetlands and pine forests and takes full advantage of the lush Florida landscape. Manicured tees and fairways lead to challenging, gently sloping TifEagle greens, creating a golf experience that is unparalleled in the Tampa area. The course is challenging, but not brutal or intimidating. From the Gold Tees, Hunter’s Green measures 7,059 yards with a course rating of 73.3 and a slope of 133. Move up to the Blue Tees and the course plays 6,622 yards (69.9/129). In all, 5 sets of tee boxes provide suitable yardages for golfers of all ages and abilities. Unlike most Florida courses, there isn’t a lot of water out here, but what there is comes into play in a big way. Sand is the more prevalent hazard with strategically placed bunkers along the fairways and around the greens. A case in point is the par-4 18th hole which incorporates both elements and is probably the most demanding hole on the entire layout. The finishing hole is one of the best in the area, and undoubtedly Hunter’s Green’s signature hole! It’s a challenging, 376-yard, par 4 with water all down the right side of the fairway that forms a lake in front of the green. You can be conservative and play down the left side, virtually taking the water out of play, or you can be aggressive, and challenge the lake. If you decide on the conservative approach, beware of the dense trees left of the cart path. Your approach shot is going to be over water into the green which slopes left to right and is surrounded by both water and sand. After your putt out on the final hole. Check out the beautiful view of the clubhouse from the 18th green. Par is a great way to end your round at Hunter’s Green. Hunter’s Green has developed a special program for junior golfers to experience firsthand the special relationships that the game of golf can help build. Their Crush It! program is a fun and simple way for kids and teens to learn new skills and attain a deeper understanding of the sportsmanship and camaraderie that golfers of all ages share. The clubhouse at Hunter's Green Country Club is best described as inviting, plush, and full of excitement and is where members meet up and enjoy each other’s company.
