The course has always been my go to course when there's no one to play with from my Sunday group. It's hit or miss with the clubhouse lady, somedays she's mean like an old rattlesnake. As for the course, the greens are always slow, which I understand, today all of them had some amount of sand on them. Some of the ter boxes have seen better days. For the most part all of the fairways are in decent shape. The carts are not in too bad a shape. Overall you're not playing there if you're looking to play a great course, it is an executive course and plays like one. I quite enjoy playing there instead of going to a range and I have always played under 3hours, my fastest time was 2hours. Today I started at 9:30 and was done by 12 and I had a foursome with 2 groups of 2 in front of me. I hit 2 balls most of the round so I could get my practice in for next weekend.

Freedom Fairways is a wonderful course and experience. Extremely well groomed and the staff are personable and welcoming. Course may be shorter than the traditional, but it is very challenging and enjoyable. Love to golf here and always go home with a smile. Doug Whittle

We had a wonderful time golfing here. After reading previous reviews about very unfriendly staff we almost did not give it a try…we are sooo glad we did. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful….the nasty one is not working there anymore….this is an executive course with 4 sets of tee blocks ….fairways and greens are well maintained and the setting is beautiful….it is a walkable course. We loved it and are considering trying to find a seasonal rental close by for next year

I was toured hole by hole by my father in law. He plays there all the time, I don't play at all. But it's a picturesque setting, lots of birds and foliage and other critters. So I enjoyed it. This doesn't help you if you're a golfer, I guess. Go for the golf cart ride and the scenery.

Fun short course. Play from the gold and you can drive the green on a couple holes. My drive is 230 minimal roll. Some holes require course management. Greens are soft and slow. Need to be cut and rolled. I hear Saturday is slow and it was. I would play again.

Nice course to work your irons, short holes of par 3 and par 4's with the longest being just over 200 yrds. No need for a driver here. Despite the course being short it provides a pretty good challenge. Front 9 greens were decent but extremely slow, back 9 greens leave a lot to be desired.. overall if you want to run 18 holes and work your irons you can run the course in 2 hours.. not bad for an after work workout.

The golf course is fun to play on and is in a convenient location. The front desk employee and ranger who work on weekends could be a lot friendlier. I would maybe play golf here again. If the staff was friendlier, I'd give a 4 or 5 star rating.

Good course greens are rough. This is a par 3 course beware if you are looking for a quick short round good course. If you are looking for some longer holes choose another course

This place is perfect except the lady in the Pro shop. She was very rude. We set our Tee time on time. and we were just browsing the used Golf clubs and she basically told us I need you to get out there. Not a very pleasant lady.

I love coming here to work on my short-game (I never use my drivers) and bring my kids to work on their regular game. We take our time and check out the wildlife. About 3 hours. One problem would be that they do let you play late into the evening but turn the sprinklers on by the time you get to hole15.

Nice Challenging course and fun to play but the no carts on fairways rule is ridiculous. The fairways are no better than all other courses that allow carts. A lot of older players on the course could use a break. i

This executive course is nearby and reasonably-priced for our little league. The setting is like a nature park with many opportunities to view Florida flora and fauna such as...gators, eagles, hawks, anhingas, limpkins, ospreys, vultures, armadillos, Florida softshell turtle, and a recent arrival, raccoon. Lots of water hazards, a.k.a. ponds, and natural forest provide habitat for the creatures. The fairways are okay, the greens are slow and the tee boxes are not in great shape at this point in the season. Hopefully, the owners will do some reseeding over the summer.

I was the golf course superintendent of construction and built that golf course many years ago. Grass was dormant so after being back so many years, I really couldn't tell the shape of it. Greens looked OK.

Really nice executive golf course never to crowded a lot of wildlife can really relax and enjoy nice quiet day of golf course not real tough but super narrow
