I had a great time. Even though they had just aerated the greens it was okay. The fairways we're in good shape and it was nicely appointed. The golf carts add yardage distances with an entire layout of each hole. GPS screen. AND, they have a beverage cart!! I'll be back.

Went for an early Birthday dinner and it was very nice. Our server Anna was great and was knowledgeable about the new menu. The new menu the empanadas and the super cheesy grilled cheese I highly recommend! Additionally the BBQ chicken pizza is delicious! The seafood bake is more like seafood in butter and lemon, very good however it probably needs to be renamed. Highly recommend coming for dinner!

Love playing this course, lay out is awesome and always in great shape. Only issue was last time one of the maintenance guys, big Hispanic male was walking around/ working with with his pants halfway down and all you could see was is blue and white checkered underwear and butt crack. Not the scenery I really wanna see while golfing.

I was blown away by the Prime Rib dinner experience last Friday at the Dunedin Golf Club. All staff members were so kind, gracious and welcoming. The food & beverage was amazing, service was stellar and the atmosphere was beautiful. The Prime Rib dinner is held the first Friday night of every month, open to the public, reasonably priced and I will definitely be going again in September and bringing friends. Thanks!

Dunedin Golf Course is a must play for my friends and me during our annual golf trip to Clearwater. We have been playing there for 8 years and just finished a wonderful day of golf. John and his staff do a wonderful job of maintaining the course and they are always friendly and accomodating. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a challenging, yet fair golf course for all levels of play.

Oh The Club... we love it here! The golf course is great to play. There is just enough water hazard on the back 9 to challenge you, and the front 9 has sand traps that can swallow you whole! We are members here, but love seeing the public being able to enjoy our treasure. On top of the golf course, they have an excellent club house! They have a First Friday prime rib buffet, Fish Frys, seafood buffets, themed nights with music, wine pairings, innovative dinner specials, etc. They staff feels like family, and they have a great bar. We love to sit on the patio, enjoy the weather, watch other golfers, and enjoy a cocktail after a round. Oh, and how could I forget their brunch?!? The have one of my favorite breakfasts in town! The first time we visited the Dunedin Golf Club, they far surpassed other country clubs we looked at joining. It felt like home there.

I've been playing here for many years and have always loved this course. Fairways are in good shape, some bald spots and the greens are always great, although they could have been a bit faster. Paradise tee times have rates in the low $20's.

We went there for lunch. Had the Strawberry Fields salad and the burger that isn't beef. The burger tasted just like meat. And the salad was fabulous. I will go there again. Ramona gave fabulous service. This was our first time there. Prices were great too.

First time playing this course and had a lot fun! Nice club house, delicious food coming out of the restaurant, friendly wait staff and cart girl was great!. Nice course layout with tight fairways, GPS in the cart, and some challenging hazards made it really an enjoyable experience. Bonus, one of the few courses that allow you to walk without being a member. Now the cons, the greens were rough! I think everyone who has left a review agrees. With such a pretty course I can only assume these are winter conditions. The only other weirdness is the driving range is reserved for members only. Never run into that, but the club house directed me to the driving range down the street which was a really nice! Overall, this is a solid golf course and I plan to come back.

This is a wonderful place! The Hospitality manager Chuck is a great person and host. Our church has been to the club several times for setting up our women's events and I've attended wedding receptions here as well. Great food great service and the space and scenery is just perfect for any of big gatherings.

Great place to go with friends for a fun relaxing evening out. Excellent food and great wait staff. Be sure to try the reuben appetizers and sweet potato fries! The history of the Dunedin Golf Club is very interesting, so stop and read the placard and display cabinets.

My organization uses the club for monthly meetings. Great view, no issues with parking, and breakfast has always been great. The main dining room works great for us! Update: I now have a second organization I work with that uses this golf club for a meeting place. Says it all doesn't it.

Great staff with an even better sense of humor. Beautiful course that needs water....(Many areas are under repair and well marked). Nice to have GPS screen caddies... Speed of play was slow, really slow.

Course in fair condition. Greens in decent shape. Place of play was slow, no ranger. Beverage cart lady was very kind and friendly. Not worth the green fees compared to similar courses. Restaurant staff was great, food was good.

Gave this course a 3 piece only because of the great layout. Was disappointed with the conditions. Seldom a good lie in the fairways. Tee boxes were torn up. Greens rolled true, but were really sandy. Wasn’t too impressed with the staff. Beautiful day, but didn’t enjoy the it due to the couple we were paired with for 18 holes. Dude hit into the group in front of us twice on the back and I had to stop him the 3rd time 🤦🏾‍♂️

Great layout, staff was VERY friendly. Overall a fun course to play, a little backed up for Sunday @3:30. I dropped some stars only because the greens were mostly in bad shape along the edges (lack of water, brown, torn up/sandy spots on the green. Like 12 out of 18, but I wasn't counting. They were marked up to reshape the green around those areas, so they were trying. Also the driving range was ate up and only had mats available. I'm no pro, but it felt like a community course... Price was a little high for shape, BUT... I had fun playing it.

The course is probably in better shape than most in the area, which is not saying much. Beware the pace of play was absolutely unacceptable. No ranger. Greens are slow. I have come to realize this area is not great for quality golf courses. New gps golf carts give you a comfortable spot to sit well waiting hours to hit.

This course has a great layout with plush fairways. The greens had large bare patches filled with sand. The was no drinking water or ice on the coursel during hot summer days. Staff was very rude, never going back.

Nice challenging course. This course is very well maintained and 18 holes took 4 hours. Can't say that about several other courses in the area. Want to play a great looking course that won't break the bank! Give this place a try.

I attended a wedding at this venue. The place is very nice as a wedding venue. There are large windows with a beautiful view of the golf course. The food was okay. The mixed drinks were not to my liking.

The course is always in good condition and enjoyable to play. They are in the process of building a new golf shop which will add that much more to the experience. When we pulled in to park, we were greeted with a smile and cart. He loaded the bags for us and told us of course conditions and where to go. Friendly staff all around.

Beautiful course always! The only complaint is that our tee time was scheduled. Then we went to starter to check in and practice putting. He started us 15 mins earlier than our tee time and would not let us practice putting. If we did that he would start us later than our set tee time! Really?! The course was jammed full and the round took 5 hours due to lengthy waits on each hole.

Great layout but terrible condition. Many fairways are sparse and many greens in bad shape. Staff is nice & food is good. It is a shame they let the condition deteriorate. Recently fired the long time pro & greeskeeper. Unfortunately, not up to par for a Donald Ross courses

Dunedin country club provides an excellent golf experience. The terrain, course design and condition are excellent. This Donald Ross designed course has a lot of history. Originally built in 1927 and the first home of the PGA, now it is one of the most fun and challenging muni courses you'll find. The course is well maintained, has stayed true to the original Ross design and is run by a friendly and helpful staff. It gets a lot of play but they have taken measures to keep things moving. The carts have touch screen display with distance and pin placement and they have created "combo tees" which give seniors and/or duffers a shorter track. I thoroughly enjoyed my day at DCC.

Very good track for a semi-private course. Overall the course is in great shape. It's a fairly wide open layout, with very little water to deal with. Unless you're really wild off the tee you will not lose very many balls. The greens were just a hare short of being lightning fast, and, at least for me, had some very deceptive and confusing reads. On holes #11, 12, 13 and 18 leaving yourself with a putt from above the hole is suicidal. The clubhouse restaurant has very good food and at reasonable prices. I think the course is definitely worth giving a try.

Course conditions have improved even with the ongoing construction. We did get stuck behind a slow group that would not let us play through, thought that was unsportsmanlike. Lunch options are decent, margaritas could use some work. Will continue to return.

I attended a scholarship brunch. I would estimate close to 80 people. The brunch was displayed attractively. The menu included assorted quiche, eggs, pastries, sausage and fruit. Topped off with strawberry shortcake for dessert. It was delicious and a great value. The service was very attentive, too.

My friend had her wedding reception here. It was very nice, the meals were put together well, everything was tasty. The atmosphere is kind of great. I definitely recommend it for wedding receptions in the future, staff as professional and everything was handled very well.

Course was in good shape, but play was slow due to a fivesome two groups ahead of us. When the Marshall was asked what was happening he indicated that from time to time they let fivesome play and he did not take any action to speed them up. I do not have an issue if the course is not busy but on this day it was packed.

If you just want golf, this is a storied Donald Ross course with excellent traditional greens. It gets a lot of play, and it had problems on some fairways in early 2017, but it's on the mend. A challenge, and a beautiful Ross layout.

Outstanding Don Ross course. Elevated greens require skilled shot making. Greens well protected by deep bunkers, with quality sand. Greens in excellent condition, subtle breaks fool you. Just over seeded so course will be in tip top tope shape by 2018. Thank you

This is a very historic golf golf and worth the visit just for that reason. Donald Ross designed yhe course in the early 1900's. The course was given to the city when it fell on hard times during the depression. The course plays like other Donald Ross courses with tricky greens. The bar had about 6 beers on tap including some craft beers. The prices were right. The golf carts wew well maintained.

This is a very tough course. It doesn’t drain all that well due to its location. Overall a challenge for the average golfer but worth the trip.

I recently played Dunedin which was in great shape and a challenging layout. I thought that was the best part about it, but, I discovered differently. After my round, I forgot my rangefinder in the cart. Since I did not discover it missing until the next day when I had travelled to Orlando for my final round on my way home to Toronto, Canada, I never thought I would see my $350.00 investment ever again. But No! l immediately called the club and spoke to David Williams in the shop, he confirmed they had my rangefinder. He took my information and said they would happily send it back to me, IN CANADA! I received the rangefinder in the mail about a week later. Th postage alone for returning my rangefinder was over $15.00. This, is what it means to be a golf professional! This level of customer care and service, not just extended to members but day players as well. It would have been far to easy for some to just say if I wanted it I could pick it up or it may have not made it into zThe shop at all. Notat Dunedin. Thank you to all from the person on the back shop who must have found it to David who spoke to me and sent it back to John Falcone, the Head professional who clearly runs a club where this is the customer service ethic is practiced and valued. This exhibits the greatness of golf as truly a game of honour. Thanks.

Top shelf golf course, one of the finest in the area. Greens are perfect. Has a tendency to get wet so take the weather into consideration when thinking of playing there.

Damn you Donald Ross! As a 20-handicapper I find myself saying that a lot during the round. This classic (historical) course will lull you into a false sense of security with its wide-open fairways, then smack you down with protected greens that are notoriously difficult to read. The front-9 and back-9 really feel like two different courses to me, which I love. This is my favorite course in Pinellas County, and I play there at least once a month. Professional and friendly staff, average concessions (although the cart girls are usually subpar), good value.
