Reviews of Golf at Top of the Rock
Probably one of the best golf experiences iv had. Beautiful course. Free water on the cart plus coolers around the course. Lots of water shots to eat all my balls and the staff was very understanding of how poorly I play. Great experience will definitely play again
Had an incredible time from start to finish, every tee shot left me awed
The course is built like a mini-golf course with just sheer extravagance and vision on each and every hole. The views were breathtaking and impossible to capture with a camera.
I shot par on every hole and nobody can tell me otherwise :)
We planned our trip for peak fall colors. Did not dissapoint! Beautiful anytime but spectacular fall. Pleasant staff. Museum amazing and larger than expected. Resteraunt good food and beautiful views.
Good place. Golf kart tours are good with some amazing views.
Also the views from restaurant are breathtaking. Totally recommend top of the rock for that.
Museum is very big.
Awesome 9 hole course & extremely well maintained. Me & My Brother had a great time. The staff is very friendly & informative.
Lot of awesome stuff to see. In the museum and drive golf-carts and see all the beautiful rocks, falls and caves. Lot of nature.
Absolutely a beautiful place! Great food an service! Nice friendly staff! A must checkout place!
Excellent experience beautiful views had a great time
The golf cart tour where you drive golf carts around a very well maintained path past gorgeous scenery including waterfalls and through a cave. Not to be missed!! The Sunset ceremony at the chapel is breathtaking ! You need to plan on spending at least a couple of hours at this place.
We went here while on a family trip to see the waterfalls and cave, which you get to do by renting a golf cart and taking the tour at your own pace. It was a blast. The museum was nice too. We plan to go back when the other caves are finished!
The golf cart tour was so wonderful, as were the drinks from the Bat Bar and the younger girl working at the Welcome Center. However, my 3 stars are because of the unfortunate awful guest service we received from the other woman working at the Welcome Center. We purchased our tickets online, waited in line and were told we couldn’t redeem our tickets until 6 o’clock (it was 545 at the time). She gave no direction on where to get our drinks, just sent us away. In ten minutes time the line began to grow so we got back in line (which now consisted of over 25 people). Guests in line began asking the younger girl where her teammate went, she informed us that the other girl told her her shift ended at 6 and she was done. About 10-15 minutes went by , line had now grown almost out the doors, the younger girl called for help and the other woman came back and rudely called us over.
She messed up our transaction, put our receipt in our bag and called for the next guest.
We had never been there before so we went back out to get on the shuttle and then realized we were supposed to have gone out the other doors to get to the cart check in. Once in line, we realized we needed the receipt that she put in our bag that was now in our car. Several guests were chiming in about the lack of service from this particular employee.
We were looking forward to the Buffalo Bar after our tour but decided against it after the poor service we received at the Welcome Center.
Like I said, the tour itself was incredible , property is beautiful. We plan to vacation here again for the holidays with our children and might consider giving the tour another shot . We just wanted to make sure we passed on the information about our time.
I do know the woman’s name but don’t want to post it so publicly.
Best.
The Golfcarts are great. But it appears only half was open when we were there. You might want to check and see. It might be a deal breaker for you. Now the museum was awesome. If you like museums it's must see! Did not dine there not able to answer for the dining.
THIS IS A MUST! I was humbled by the generosity of one man fulfilling a vision to bring the beauty of nature to those who would otherwise NEVER enjoy it. The museum was beyond eye opening. The food and view from the restaurant balcony was awesome.
Had so much fun on our golf cart tour on the mountain! Saw so many pretty sights and loved the fact that there was a bar in a cave!! Next time we visit with our families, we will have to convince them to go on this tour with us!.
A bit expensive for 9 holes but it was pretty cool.
Top of the Rock is an absolute must for any golf fan. The golf is spectacular, scenery phenomenal, food at Arnie’s barn is fantastic and the staff of warm and welcoming. The place is unreal and the pictures do not do it justice, book your trip now!
This is an awesome place! I spent the whole day there! The museum is amazing and the golfcart ride is peaceful, serene and beautiful! Highly recommend going here if you have the chance.
Let's be honest...Johnny Morris plus Jack Nicklaus has to mean perfection...and it does. The course is si.ply stunning and beautifully cared for. But it's not the only reason that this is such a sublime experience. Everything at Top of the Rock is first class. By the time you get on the course, you've already been blown away. But the course delivers the payoff you would expect. Go! Treat yourself to an unforgettable day!
Gorgeous. It’s resort pricing, but we didn’t even mind. Be ready for incredible views and a fun time. If you can work it out, make a reservation at Osage after 5pm and dine there after the round. 😉 …
One of my fav places for sure! The view is splendid, I got some awesome souvenirs from there and great pictures. I can’t wait to go back! Just fyi before you go up to the welcoming center there is a $10 fee/car.
Cave & Canyon self-guided golf cart tour, Osage restaurant (the lower, more-cool level doesn't require reservations) and the underground Native American Museum are absolutely exceptional, and without a doubt World Class attractions. The views at these locations will leave you speechless, and the museum is no joke... The largest, neatest and best collection of Native American history in the WORLD. #fact
Such a beautiful place to visit. Couple of nice restaurants and Wine Cellar and Bar also. Cool little Museum and Gift store. Definitely recommend bringing the family to check it out. Also I hear the golfing's nice.
We went in a group of 8 people. Ages ranged from 8 weeks-80 years old, we all had a great time with the golf cart ride. We signed the waiver a few hours before our arrival time to expedite the check-in process which was super easy. The guys assisting with the carts were very friendly and helpful. 10/10 for the whole cart experience.
The museum was very neat and tidy. The whole group took the shuttle, it was a short ride. The adults in our group enjoyed the items inside and could have easily spent the while day here just looking at everything, however the younger ones in our group got bored after a while and we rushed through the end of it. It was very nicely laid out and everything was labeled and informative. I would like to go back without the younger ones to get to read more of the information.
Overall, we loved it and will plan to go back.
I'm not a golfer so we went for the views and food. It's $10 just to get into the facility and everything else is expensive, but it is a beautiful experience.
Breathtaking views. Immaculate course. Was alittle taken back by green fees, but after the "experience ", I'd have paid double. A "must play" for an average or elite golfer.
P.S, bring a ton of balls!
Didn't get to play the course. They are booked months in advance. However, it was pristine. Great place to visit. Be sure to make reservations for course or their restaurants.
We didn't golf but took the golf cart tour. It's worth the money. This is a bit steep. Almost $30 a person. It gets super crowded but has pull offs so u can take pics and things. Don't worry about stopping for pics people don't seem to mind since they want to do the same thing. Beautiful doesn't even cover it.
Visited Branson Missouri while on vacation. A friend recommended Top of the Rock. I would highly suggest this golf cart tour through the waterfalls in the woods. This was probably my favorite spot during vacation. Highly recommended
The views are incredible but the conditions were terrible. The tee boxes are almost entirely sand and the aerated greens were in very poor condition. We got to pay the aeration rate of $99 but that was still way too much given the poor quality of the course.
Beautiful scenery but to get in it cost you $10 then if you want to do anything else because a lot more like $40 in that per person and then unless you want to go to the bar to eat but they only do it at 2:00 and 4:00
The views make it hard to give this anything other than 5 stars, but the course itself is short, 9 holes total. It’s mostly 3-par, I guess if you’re a professional. The grounds are beautiful. I just feel like I could golf a lot more for the price somewhere else in this area and it be just as beautiful.
And holy lord almighty, it is really expensive. But , given the views and staff, I guess that seems normal.
One of our New Favorites when visiting the Branson area. We strongly suggest that you take time to take a golf cart tour of the waterfalls and cave tour.
Cannot recommend this enough. Absolutely gorgeous views everywhere you look. A definite must see.
Beautiful course with tons to do. The golf cart tour plus the Museum were the best parts (besides the stunning views)
This place is BEAUTIFUL! I'm not a big golfer but I've seen a few courses, this one is just something else, the scenery is incredible! Also, there is a restaurant and a museum on the same property.
Truly a beautiful spot. Tons of photo opportunities
A very well maintained par 3 golf course. It is a bit spendy, but it is well run with friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Really beautiful scenery!
Top is the best par 3 I have ever played. Can’t wait to visit again. Must stop.
Just beautiful. I would.like to go back at Sunset.
My personal favorite location to golf at around Branson. Private, and best of all, QUIET! :)
This has become a regular for us during visits to Branson. Everyone always enjoys the quiet golf-cart drive through the Ozark terrain which includes views of Table Rock Lake, a cave with waterfall and numerous waterfalls along the drive. This activity includes admission to an outstanding Ozark archeology museum covering the history of the area. There is a good restaurant and golf course as well.
What an awesome experience! A friend recommended this and we are glad they did! The views were amazing! I would recommend signing waiver online first. Doesn’t take long but easier if you do upfront. Fun for all ages! Was about a 30 min ride and we had a blast! Kind of like going to an amazing golf course and being able to cruise on a golf court and enjoy the views. Waterfalls were everywhere. Super clean and well manicured! Don’t miss this (our kids were 8 and 10 and they loved it)
Stunning. One of the coolest golf experiences I’ve ever had.
Amazing! Enjoyable! Views were incredible! Beautiful!!! Highly recommended!!
Had an amazing experience! It was my first time there and had a blast. It was a beautiful course with the best views. I will definitely return as well as recommend to others.
Hands down the best part of Branson. We loved this. The views were spectacular!
Great experience and tons of things to see. Had a fun time on golf cart ride lots of water falls, and the museum was so interesting and lots of information to see about Indian artifacts
Course was amazing, very well kept and beautiful scenery, wish I was a better golfer is the only issue haha
Worth the price just for the views alone. Incredible par 3 layout and in impeccable condition. Outstanding pro shop staff.
Beautiful scenery and buildings, but the prices were extremely high, and the golf carts giving you constant dings and slowing you down on hills is annoying
Simply magnificent! Service, course and the views are superb
Fun executive course to play after a morning 18. Highly recommend for anyone coming to the area.
Love it can't wait to maybe waitress at top of the Rock Osage or buffalo bar and my man works there as well they are kind bosses and a great owner
The only down side was that it was crowded. I would love to be the only one on the trail. Lol
An incredible course, so picturesque. If you’re not at least a ten handicap, you will lose some balls!
Wow this place is over the top. Get a golf cart enjoy the scenic views.
Very awesome need to see, some people say it's a bit pricey but we thought it was worth every cent.
Amazing place and beautiful waterfalls. It is a must see
I went for a wedding reception. Absolutely phenomenal in every way. Give it a shot for sure!
Absolutely amazing me and wife did this for our anniversary it was spectacular the views and everything was awsome!
we did the golf cart tour, the views were beautiful and it was definitely worth the money. there are plenty of places to pull off and take pictures, the golf carts are roomy, and they have a bar about halfway through in the cave. the carts go slow and they're very safe.
Amazing time, so much, beauty, in the rocks, waterfalls and scenery. I loved it all
NEED RESERVATIONS! Beautiful place but was booked to eat.
Really a nice course. We enjoyed the 9 hole par 3. The course was cool and unique! Expensive, but I thought it was worth it. Really nice course.
The golf cart tour is awesome. Great time
Very pretty and lots of fun 😊😎🏌️♀️🏌️♂️⛳ …
My husband had the time of his life. We will definetly be back.
No explanation of what you paid for. Very expensive. Most things were closed. Customer service was not good.
This was such an enjoyable experience. I loved every minute.
Absolutely amazing. Loved the place. Some work being done. But overall awesome.
Make sure to get there with ample time before you tee off to be able to enjoy the picturesque views and history of the course. The staff was very friendly and helpful and created a fantastic experience. Every tee box is worth a picture. Something to note If you arrive after 10 am on a nice day you could be waiting in line to get into the property.
Great attraction. Needs more signs and shuttles.
We enjoyed the views and the food.
Without a doubt, the prettiest scenery in Branson!
This was a lot of fun. Waterfalls are spectacular. Great place to take pictures.
Nice place to visit. It is a tourist attraction, but it is also a very high-end tourist atteaction. Dress nicely. The cave tour and nature and trail is worth the money. We took our time and really enjoyed it. There were others who were flying through it and we would find a place to wave them through. It took is about an hour and half at our own pace in the gold cart. We will go back. The staff was very polite and helpful.
Beautiful scenery and many discoveries to view.
Had a wonderful time with my wife both enjoying the views and playing two rounds of golf. I even got hissed at by a swan on the green of hole 5. Jake was our assistant and he was awesome, very courteous and steadfast.
Beautiful place this time of year
We bought the golf tour/museum pass. Great deal! Had a great time once we actually got to our golf cart and to the museum!
There were some logistical issues though...You arrive at the welcome center and are immediately confused. No signs of what lines are, no staff guiding you where to go for what. We had to ask other guests to figure out where to go. Social distancing was a big concern, although there are signs saying to social distance, no one was really following. Shuttles were full, no matter how much we waited, they were always full.
I did not play golf just did the trails and the museum, Amazing
We absolutely love top of the rock! It was so much fun bringing the kids and grandkids back!
I played this course for the first time while visiting the area with friends.
The golf course is superb! My golf game was not. However, I had no problems spending $135 for a round on such a beautiful course when I probably won't make it back to that area again. The course is PGA tour quality and even though it's only a par 3 course it was a lot of fun to play. The driving range is very cool and I wish there was more real grass to hit from but using the turf was ok once you get used to it.
The museum is quite good and I recommend it to all.
Our group has been to Top Of The Rock for the past three years, its the most beautiful par three course I have ever played. The best staff that you can hope for, very friendly and customer oriented. Well worth the $135 price. Every hole is a signature hole with a view. We look forward to coming back every fall. Well done Top Of The Rock. Buffalo Springs is also one of the greatest 18 holes of golf you can ask for. Can accommodate any golf game. The combo of Top Of The Rock and Buffalo Springs is a great value. If you love golf you have to visit this area. Looking forward to Tigers Payne Valley next year!
My wife and I have been going to Top of the Rock for a few years now and it never ceases to amaze us with it's beauty. We almost always take the golf cart tour because it's self paced and very relaxing. For the first time ever I was able to play the golf course and had the most memorable experience of my life! It's an absolute bucket list item that I plan to check off many more times!
This was well worth the money! You drive your 4 person golf cart through a beautiful cave with an I derground river running through it, past beautiful waterfalls and scenery. You will be able to look over the sink hole and beautiful driving green. This was a favorite of our entire group of 30!
Pricey but worth every penny. Have to play this course at least once if you are in the Branson area and consider yourself a golfer. You will not be disappointed. I have been going to the area yearly and just played it for the first time.
This was a great place to check out.
Amazing experience. Fun and beautiful
My wife's and my favorite place in Branson! We love visiting the wine cellar. Great selection of high-quality wines, scotch, and cigars. Bartenders are very knowledgeable and can help you pick your drinks and smoke if you want a cigar. I always follow their advice and have never been disappointed.
The Top of the Rock par 3 golf course is stellar! The entire staff is friendly and helpful. Warning, be prepare to lose a few balls in the many lakes. Even if if don't play golf, ask to take a golf cart drive around the grounds. The landscaping and views are the finest you will see this side of heaven.
Fantastic course with a phenomenal view!.
Tucked back in the Ozark mountains, the scenery here is spectacular. There is a wide array of things to do here. The golf course is an amazing nine hole course. And don't forget to stop at the pro shop for your golfing needs. If your hungry you have a selection here. There is an awesome museum to walk thru. The sinkhole is a spectacular sight of Ozark formations. Visit the cave while you are here also. They have a shuttle service at the visiter center to get you where you are going. The view is amazing. There are plenty of eye catching statues and water features as well. Walk down and sweet the beautiful chapel located on the grounds as well.
Really fun and very beautiful
Good experience but prices were high.
OMG we found the entrance to heaven. Spectacular views. Wishing we had not just eaten before we ventured out to this wonderful spot. Did have cocktail and dessert as we enjoyed the view. Worth every moment
Very enjoyable experience, definitely recommend 👌 …
Take golfcart tour of grounds. It is a gem. Food and setting of Top of the Rock and Big Cedar grounds spectacular
The golf cart tour is a must. Didn't play on the 9 hole course, a little pricey for a short par 3 course. If they dropped their price about $50 to 85, would most likely play.
But then again maybe their strategy is to limit play.
Faith was very helpful while I was there
This place is a gem!! Amenities are top notch, the golf course is on a great layout and a couple other courses coming soon, visited in March so can't wait to come back when the course is in prime shape. Staff was friendly too.
Awesome! Definetly a place to check out
Outstanding location and developed by Johnny Morris of Bass Pro Shops. The Table Rock Lake views are incredible with three different restaurants and bars. It also has a 18 hole par 3 golf course which literally every tree, rock , and flower has been design to bring out it's natural Ozark beauty. There is an award winning museum on the premises and a drive-through cave. Bass Pro's National Top Ten resort named Big Cedar Lodge and Long Creek Marina are located near by but all Branson area guests are welcome. It has beautiful wedding facilities including a church which opens up to a beautiful lake view. All costs are really affordable considering the quality. If you are interested...please Google their website as I don't have room to list all it's attributes.
Best par 3 course on the planet! Awesome views, Arnie's barn, sunset ceremony and even the sinkhole was cool to look at. A must visit place if you ever come to Branson.
Great scenery along the course
Awesomely beautiful property. Was disappointed the the waterfalls that you pay to take a golf cart tour to see were not natural falls. Not worth the cost of the tour. Restaurant food okay.
It's OK very beautiful course but little things like the bunker sands being painted white. Definitely not powdery like they are in Florida. Too pricey even with the free tour.
This place is incredibly beautiful.
We had a blast! Highly recommend you select a member of your party to serve as the narrator for the tour. It adds a little something to the event!
A very scenic 9 hole par 3 course.
Perfect view from the restaurant.
It's first class. A beautifully done structure and driving range. The additional restaurants are good. The bedt surprise is the museum.
Amazing views. All the guys working go above and beyond to ensure a great game. Prices are not cheapest in town but well worth the price.
Phenomenal experience from start to finish.
Always an amazing time
..
Beautiful views and we'll manicured course. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Wish we had scheduled another round!
Amazing place to visit. Absolutely beautiful, very classy. A must visit and can't wait to experience again.
Beautiful scenery
This was a beautiful place to see. We enjoyed seeing the golf course and touring the church going in the caves. I highly recommended it to anyone.
A must see, awesome waterfall trails, museum (one of best in country) views & food plus Golf Course looks magnificent.
Such an amazing place! Beautiful scenery and great atmosphere. We will be back!

If there was ever a golf course that made me want to learn to play golf or made me wish that I did play golf this is the most absolutely amazing golf course I've ever seen in my entire life.
Gorgeous setting, friendly employees, very average food for the Mothers Day brunch.
