Reviews of Jefferson Park Golf Course
Very very nice, overall place looks great. But unfortunately, I'm not a fan of all the homeless that have moved in taken over and destroyed a lot of the green space at the park. While I understand they need somewhere to live they don't need to leave trash and burned wood everywhere in a place that's meant for everyone to enjoy. Overall, the place is a beautiful development with an amazing view of Seattle.
This is my happy place. I would play here every day if I could. The people working in the pro shop are fantastic.
As far as condition of the course goes I was very happy, beautiful early morning on Jefferson.
They have a good but very busy driving range. At the range I can generally find a place, but you may have to wait a few minutes. The pro shop is okay… nice people working the counter. The par three ground are in shambles. The food there is good and the 18 whole course is just okay.
Nice ,clean facility. Friendly staff. Equipment worked well. Beautiful view of downtown. Prices seemed on point and we had a great time. I will definitely be going again.
The front nine was fine. On the back nine, three of the par-4 holes were under maintenance, the tees of which were moved up to par-3 distance, but there were no signs indicating what the hole numbers were. Essentially, the course was par-66, so recording your scores will mess up handicaps.
Jefferson is a wonderful Muni. Treed fairways and hills on back nine provide challenges. My favorite hole is 17, a short par 5 but your approach shot is often a blind uphill lie. Long drivers can reach in two.
It is a nice golf course with a shop selling golf equipments and a small fast food restaurant. It offers a driving range as well. One drawback is that part of the parking space has been occupied by homeless campers with trash piling up.
This is probably the best place to practice in Seattle city area. The driving range is covered, heated, and has has top tracer. Nice little restaurant to get beer and general pub food. Large practice green area and a par 3 course that's got a few good holes. The actual golf course isn't worth the time or money it takes to play in my opinion but it's a decent option.
First time for me to visit the new driving range. Now it's a double decker and has Toptracer tech. The pro shop & cafe are nice.
I am by no means a golf enthusiast and when I go driving it could be said to be more of a fail spectacle than anything else BUT this driving range is really nicely kept and really fun to just go and hit a few balls. They have a nice selection of Washington based beers and general beers as well to just help add that extra fun time to what is golfing and driving. The driving range also offers a very cool view while you gold of the Seattle skyline and the always amazing Seattle sunsets. So if you are a pro or just want to have fun I would definitely recommend Jefferson Park Golf Course.
It’s a decent course. It’s pretty well maintained (not sure in the fall/winter). Nothing very special about it at the same time either. This has been my “home course” since I’ve lived in Seattle and it’s been a convenient and close golf course to where I live.
Had a great time it was a beautiful day and it wasn't packed in or too busy friendly people who work there and golfers The price is also right. Thank you Jefferson golf course.
Course was a mess. End of summer and super wet. Plugging balls in the fairway. Pace of play was fine. Good for a cheap round and just to get out but don't expect much more.
Just about as good as you can expect from Muni. Range is pretty nice with a great view. Course is in decent shape. Not a super challenging course pace can be super slow on the weekends. Staff is pretty friendly and clubhouse is pretty clean. There is also an executive course, footgolf course, and a chipping area.
Edit: If you need help with anything find an adult. The teens working there will not help you.
Played the short course in winter, liked it so much we played it twice.
Pretty ordinary but it’s good that when it’s closed you can golf for free and no one cares.
Solid beginner friendly course. Great staff and pace.
Great place to hit a bucket of balls, practice with your putter and do a short 9 or 18. :)
My girls like this park. It had zip lines, a water park for really hot days, swings, and slides. Just about everything a kid could hope to play with. Can't help the weather though. 🤣🤣🤣 …
Fun course to play. A guy I was playing with got hit by a ball on the fly on the 12th tee box with no warning. A guy named Avi, who said he works at the course was the one who hit the ball without yelling 'fore!'. He then acted like we did something wrong after we threw his ball in the bushes. He never apologized and apparently felt that he was special because he works there. Imagine teeing up your ball, getting ready to hit, and a ball hits you in the ribs. Then the guy who hit the ball is not only unapologetic, but aggressive towards you. Course is cool, the people I dealt with were cool, but Avi was the furthest thing from being cool.
Nice range, only one in the south seattle area. Has parking challenges. The balls are mostly dead or water logged, and the mat on the stall I used was heavily indented for a right hand player (I'm right handed) so I had to hit off the back of the mat.
They do have some stalls with tracing which is really nice, but I didn't get to use those this time; so can't rate those as this was my first swings of the season. Pro shop guy was great. Jumbo bucket of balls was affordable. Ball machine worked well and quickly.
My lower rating is really do to poor mat and ball condition.
Jefferson is a great deal and great place to play a 9-hole all day and practice on your short game. They have a variety of par-3 holes that are challenging on their 9-hole course. I went durning the summer and the staff were amazing. Their driving range is covered and spilt level. They have a very large putting area and if you want to play a full round they have a great 18-hole course as well. The 9- hole course is only 8-9 dollars, and “well used” It’s a great way to practice and spend your afternoon. There is a lot of parking. It’sworth checking out and playing one of Seattle’s coolest facilities.
Jefferson Park golf range is a two story driving range. It's clean and well kept. Nice size putting green in the front and Full bar with about 6 craft beers on tap and rotation. Prices are reasonable for a bucket of balls and about $12 for 2 8 oz beers. Staff is nice. Nothing extraordinary here but nothing bad either. Being your clubs and smash some balls.
Did 9 hole course- wouldn't recommend it. 18 hole course is great. Driving range A plus
For a public park, this place has everything. Tennis courts, open fields, playgrounds, sandbox, driving range, spray park, indoor and outdoor basketball, skate park, golf course, a par3, and more... but I haven't even mentioned the best part yet. The energy of that place. There is constant action with a good buzz and commotion with all the activities.
This park has it all from grills and picnic bench to bathroom and basketball. There are trials throughout the park. Even a neaby Community Center.
Well maintained course we enjoy it a lot. The food is good, driving range is great. The only issue is with the homeless taking over part of the property, otherwise it would be a 5 star.
Good cheap golf. Course can be rough, but it's nice and casual.
Not bad layout. Used to be a short par 70, now a 69. Still good course, but back nine starts with three par 3s...
Great Muni course in Seattle, easy to get to, and among the most affordable. Also cool views from both the driving range and the back 9. Fred Couples' home course growing up.
this is a multi-faceted facility with an excellent driving range (similar to interbay) and a good golf course. Golf course has some eccentricities with a couple of holes being perpetually renovated due to some disputes over wayward balls. There is a Foot-Golf course that is fun for the soccer enthusiasts. Pricing is reasonable and play can be slow on nice days!
My rating is due to the fact I haven’t been evicted from the parking lot and the people are generally fairly nice. As a homeless young adult who didn’t want to live the lifestyle I’m currently faced with my partner and I try to keep our space tidy and pick up after our dogs. The staff at the golf course seem generally friendly only a few experiences with them and none of them minded me. The patrons on the other hand, I have had golf balls sent flying at me and my puppy and it’s honestly disgusting how people can find that to be perfectly acceptable behavior and honestly it goes to show that Seattle really is full of the most pretentious, stuck up, and nasty rude people that I have encountered in 23 different states. The people of Seattle really need to fix their attitudes maybe the city would be happier anyways I appreciate and thank the Seattle for your hospitality I’ll try not to stay too long in the rv. We are just waiting to move up on the housing lists.
Such a fun little course, the cost to play won't kill your pocketbook. Nice folks at the front desk.
Great driving range facility, but that's where the greatness begins and ends! Great golf course design frowns on parallel holes and fairways. Jefferson park is all parallel holes and fairways running mostly north/south! Definitely not a classic layout worthy of praise as it lacks variety in it's layout and hazards, but a solid challenge for the average golfer.
Food and driving range are top notch. The par 3 course is good practice and cheap. The 18 is a standard muni. I haven't played it in awhile but they typically keep it in good order. I'll continue to use their range. Best value in the area.
One of the best kept public courses, I play the par 3. Putting green, chipping and driving range. Reasonably priced. Noisy from the aircraft landing at Boeing and SeaTac. View of Mt Rainier and the Olympics when clear.
The best driving range in the area. Great view and can always find a spot.
Great spot, with great people! Has everything for any type of weather, heated/covered range, top tracer bays, putting green, chipping area, a 9 hole Par 3, and Full 18.
Tip your Bartenders, and enjoy!
Great place to play golf got three other sister courses
Love this place! The golfing is great and so is the food downstairs. In an amazing location also.
Disclaimer: have never played the course, this review is solely for the Driving Range. The range is a nice experience that isn't too expensive and can be utilized on rainy day on one of two decks. Nice pro shop that accommodates all your possible needs, and the staff was quick and helpful. Seems like it can get pretty packed. Lotta folks know about this place, and it is central to a lot of locations. Great spot to meet your buddies and smack some balls.
Golf course is fine, very narrow and it can get busy. The parking is atrocious, just unacceptable, and sadly not the golf courses fault, but since you can't use the one without the other, it decreases the star rating.
I've only played the par 3 course, but it's fun and challenging for beginners. The holes offer a bit of variety in terms of elevation changes. No sand traps or water hazards. Put your driver away, unless you want to launch a ball into the VA parking lot. Fairways are well maintained, but expect a crowd. One bonus, you can hop on and off the course at any hole.
Nice course close to home. Nothing that will blow your socks off, but some nice views and wide fairways that are easy on beginners. The executive course is also fun if you are short on time. Range is one of the nicer ones I have been to around Seattle. They use astroturf on the range so your balls roll a little far, but they never shut down the range for too much rain.
Course is small, but good for quick play. Driving range is lovely and the bar/grill is decent too. I like the XL range bucket option. View from the range's upper deck is spectacular.
As a 12 year old - 59 years ago - I began taking the bus from Queen Anne hill downtown to Penney's, transferred to the Jeff Park bus, and practiced/played this course nearly every day during summers spent up here. I moved back to WA a couple of years ago and was surprised to see the course is still up and running. Good job!
Awesome views, friendly staff, well maintained course
The few times I've had time to golf in the last few years I played here and I appreciated that time tremendously. Thank you Jefferson Park for existing- I hope to be able to return sometime soon!
Krith was super helpful in the pro shop and made this such a great experience. I'm just getting into golfing and must admit that I've had experiences at other courses where there was red hot white angst and privilege. Krit didn't make me feel this way and helped me and got me all set up. Happy to return here again and hit the range!
Very popular course, a bit on the slow side pace, the 2 times I played there recently. The front nine are fairly level, the back nine has some hills to climb, if you're walking. I felt sorry for the walkers as I rode past in the power cart. There is a driving range to warm up. They gave me a small bucket, no extra charge, maybe because I'm a senior Premier golf member, not sure. They had a beer cart running, both weekdays I was out.
The driving range is very large, two floors, and has reasonable rates. Most of the stalls have Toptracer attached where you can do ball flight analysis or play virtual golf. No grass, you hit off mats.
The full course was undergoing some construction when I played it (mostly in the bunker areas), but the fairways and greens were in pretty good shape. This course is on the short side, so walking a full 18 wouldn't be too much of a strain. There's a few beautiful views of the city on the back 9 so don't miss them!
The par 3 course would be great to bring some non-golfer friends to. The longest shot you need is about 150 yards. It was a little rough as far as tee boxes and fairways go, but the greens were in great shape there as well.
Their short game practice facilities are also a huge plus. They have 2 large putting greens and a chipping green tucked away in the back. The chipping green has a very large practice bunker as well.
Overall, well kept muni-course with low stress environment and amazing practice facilities.
This review is for the driving range and staff, I haven't played the course yet. The driving range is great, though not real grass. It has two stories so lots of bays. It does get busy after work hours and on the weekends. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Love the course and staff, just a few suggestions:
Clearly mark the holes, it's annoying to have to guess where to go and make sure you are at the right hole.
Bar cart is super scarce. I've been to this course a half a dozen times and only seen it once. Please take more of my money.
Pro shop is over priced. I understand convenience costs money but have a sale once and a while :)
Thanks for being around
Cozy driving range. Good 18 holes course but no catering service for golfers. Lots of trees to get your ball lost. They need to bring back the cups for the putting course
The new clubhouse and practice facilities are fantastic. My only complaint is that the hitting mats are a bit worn and need to be replaced soon.
Never have a hard time finding an open stall at the driving range, even when it appears to be very crowded. Affordable fun and a little bit of exercise - $13 for a large bucket of balls - and great view!
Par 3 golf course is a little rough but if you do not expect perfectly manicured greens, divots replaced or well marked tee boxes, then you will not be disappointed. Convenient location for Seattle-ites - even West Seattle-ites who are currently without a bridge.
Air-conditioned bar and proshop!pros hope!! Greens where spongy but in great shape.
Great place for our PGA Jr. Golf!
Can't beat the price on the short 9. It's got a couple short holes under 50 yards. It's a good course for some quick practice, fun (drinking) with friends or a trip with the kids. The full 18 is in great shape, and also reasonably priced. The staff here have been great to me and my friends.
It's a fun track, but the traffic getting there is awful.
Greens were in great shape, great public course. The driving range is a great setup as well. Just wish they could get those holes pushed back out on the back 9.
Good muni course with double decker driving range. Their back 9 has always been under construction and not the best kept course but they do have a first tee program and the staff at the clubhouse and cafe are very friendly.
After their make over a few years back, this is a really fun course. The double decker driving range is nice and clean. The view is fantastic, you can see the high rise and water of downtown Seattle.
The club house food is cheap and really tasty. Fast and friendly staff. Best bargain in the city for 9 and 18 holes.
The food at the grill was so delicious!
Course is a little shorter than what I would want, but some of that is because it is a par 69 (one of the par 3s on the back 9 seems like it will become a par 4 again after some construction). Overall a good course, a bit drier than what I'm used to from Michigan. Fairways are tight, rough is short, and greens roll fast; very gettable and fun, although not a lot of variety. The range has top tracer on half of the bottom floor, which is an amazing add on to a practice session.
I stopped by for the First Tee yard sale, and it was pretty cool. The money goes back into their program, which I think is great for the kids!!
No clubs for demo... kind of a shame. But they have loaners. Would like to see shorter tees at the range.
It is a muni, and the conditions were decently playable in the winter. The back 9 holes are a bit more interesting than the front, which are pretty boring.
I've played here quite a few times, and while cheap and convenient, usually not that satisfying. The pure enjoyment of getting to play golf at all is basically what you get out of it. This course is always packed. The trick here is to pick a day that has questionable weather, and you'll have a faster and more enjoyable round. The front 9 is back and forth narrow corridors. Don't be surprised if you have Joe Schmo who decides that his sliced drive from the hole over is more important than your tee shot, as he slowly walks out onto your fairway, as if you weren't playing at all. 5 hour rounds on the weekends, and even if you try to go after work during the longest days of summer, you'll be lucky if you get through 7 holes. The back 9 is more interesting; but the 11th par 4 has been turned into a par 3, and the 12th par 3 has been turned into a joke of a hole where all tee markers have about 85 yards to center of the green. I see plenty of mowers and groundskeepers out, but I don't know what they really do other than cut the rough so short that you can't determine where fairway ends and rough starts. Compared to Bellevue, another muni in the same group, Bellevue is 1000x nicer. 3 stars for convenience, basically. They have pretty nice range facilities with a great view of downtown - that is, if you can find a spot to hit a few.
Great course. Nice greens. Short par 3s.
Super nice staff, very accommodating. I'm a vegetarian, however they 6pm sale is for 9 holes of golf and a hot dog. They were very friendly, and put cheese in place of the hot dog. I love this place and play almost every week.
The range facility is top notch, but the Executive 9 that I played the other day was mediocre at best. I can understand minor maintenance issues since it's so early in the season, but there were a lot of random pot holes throughout the course and most greens had extra random holes on them, some big, some small. It was a nice and easy course to play, but I was paranoid about stepping into one of the holes.
Nice golf public course - we played nine holes of foot golf for my son's birthday party and had a great time. The foot golf tees are not always well marked.
I have never played Foot Golf before. I didn't even know this game. How I dearly missed out. I may even like good now.
I was visiting Seattle and my plan was to catch up with my former soccer team on a Monday. Sadly they were having a bye week.
Lucky for me, my former team organized a foot golf at the Jefferson Park.
This was such a casual, leisurely take on playing golf with a soccer ball.
Great selection of beer from the venue makes it even more fun.
You have to try!
Jefferson Park Golf Course has a great driving range, friendly staff and a fun course with good prices. They smoke their own meats...bacon, pulled pork and chicken. This is a great place to grab some good food and drinks.
I play this golf course regularly, like once a week virtually year-round, and while I like the course (in spite of the quirky back nine with three consecutive par 3's to start), the staff and the new clubhouse, driving range and restaurant, I for the life of me can't understand why they don't do something about the restroom facility between the 9th green and 10th tee! To say it's an embarrassment is an understatement. It's dated (like what, 50-75 years old?), dirty and more often than not lacking in basic supplies like toilet tissue and paper towels - in the middle of a pandemic, no less! Find the money somewhere in the budget to make this a useable and somewhat comfortable facility! There are port-a-potties more appealing than this poor excuse for a restroom! It's not that tough.
Good city course. Relatively cheap and in good condition. They have a driving range as well. Bus stop right outside also.
Course itself isn't particularly challenging but good for weekend golfers
Had an awesome time with my nephew and daughter. The skate park was great. This park has something for everyone it seems. There's a golf course, tennis courts, basketball, and a playground. Plus plenty of open space to run or play soccer, football etc.
Great driving range facility. Helpful staff. Big, well maintained putting green. The course itself isn’t the greatest as it’s narrow and doesn’t drain well, but it’s accessible and affordable.
Very nice driving range with food and drinks on-site. My only complaint is that there are no heaters on the top floor to keep you warm while golfing, yet there are heaters on the lower floor.
Cool little place with a 3 par course. I dig it... cool range & great go to for local
It's a wonderful place parking overnight, even though there are a few signs saying otherwise. You can take a nap or other things..... "Wink wink".... If you catch my drift?.... No one bothers you.... Oh and if you're lucky you'll get to see the nocturnal, homeless, human grazing and tending to their nests.... It's almost magical.
Pace of play is horrible - close to 3.5 hours on the front 9. But good news is that a bunch of people left after the turn so back 9 was only a bit over 90 minutes, which was aided by 4 par 3's. Course is nice but they overbook tee times and to make it worse, group in front was 4 walkers that were really bad and really slow. I'd only come again only on a weekday morning or something - round was a Saturday afternoon and everyone was complaining about how slow it was
The driving range is excellent. The course is ok but it's a great price and a great atmosphere. Nice to have the par 3 course option, perfect for teaching new players.
Great place for junior golfers to start their way toward a college scholarship. The most diverse golf course EVER! Outstanding groups of regulars frequent this place. Just ask Freddie Couples.
Newly updated driving range with the new equppied shot tracker. MKes for a fun evening out at the driving range. Also MKes for a pricey one as well, the shot teacher is $25 per hour as of 2019 rates.
The restaurant still kicks major taste buds! Great place to grab some good food and drinks. The 18 hole course still has it's short comings as it had to shorten 2 of the back 9 holes to a par 3. It's been like this for years. However it's a great place to play and have a good round.
Everything--range, pro shop, access, parking, restrooms, restaurant--is in great shape and well-managed except the green part. Two stars for the course itself. Pretty good views from a few holes too.
For starters they have great food! The staff is so friendly and helpful. New top tracer is well worth the extra money. Have fun with the family, girls or even guys night out!
A lot of improvements out there. Nice to see grass in some areas that have been beaten for a while.
This is a surprisingly challenging front 9. A lot of angles and you must hit it straight. Well priced, good range. Sometimes it can play slow but good pace for a muni
Great public golf course. Double decker driving range. Putt and chipping practice greens. Both a short 9 and a full 18 hole course. Plus a restaurant and full liquor service.
Everyone there is great! Nathel is informative on golf fitting and Eric is such a delight. Great Service! Nice course.
Great prices. Course is in good shape. Holes are on the shorter side. Nice driving range, good pitching practice area and nice sized practice green.
Visited on a Friday morning and the course conditions were good, the beer/snack cart were running, and the kitchen was serving good food with good service.
If you’re looking for some golf and beers, this is the place to be. Really nice golf range and pro shop center! The food to very so so (don’t get the breakfast burrito) which brings the overall experience down.
Me and Kyle Berkshire are busy during the day...jk so it's good that they are Open late ....plus it's better when u smoke things and dont sleep much....awesome #outlaw golf rules
Good place for the kids to play too. Tennis is live action with the boys and girls community center during business hours. If your phone service is deprioritized just move down closer to the veterans hospital and your phone reception will improve.
One of the 4 Seattle Premier golf courses. This public course has decent greens and fairway conditions. Growing up on these courses, you'll find a very flat and open front 9, then as you head over to the back 9, the course gets more shot placement and demand to make better shots. You can expect a few blind shots and doglegs.
Freddy Couples childhood golf course. As part of the Premier Golf Courses here in Seattle, it is managed and maintained with an eye for quality. Very friendly and professional staff.
Went to the driving range. The personnel were very friendly and helpful. Great place to practice and is moderately priced.
Good deal for your money. About what you'd expect from a muni course (which isn't a ton). Had fun playing it though. Go with a good buddy and don't take yourself too seriously (a great golfing motto for anyone).
Ngl, place is litty (nice newer building and atmosphere), has that fire (top tracer equipped hitting bays), and tops it off with that gas (grill for those hot eats and cool treats).
Improve your drive while taking in the Seattle skyline...
too bad they make par 3 on 11th hole which was originally par 4. I understand that many people slice the ball from tee shot, and it hit the residential area, but this is ridiculous to change 120 yd par 3.
Then next par 3 12th hole also got shorten too much for same reason.
Fairway and Green condition were fine though
I was out there. And there were some young kids learning how to play golf. And the guyTeaching them he play , But he didn't know how to play or the rules of the game.
Overall good condition. Out round was fast. Back nine is par 33; total for course is 69. Greens were very nice. Some mushy places in the fairway, but good overall.
Nice local course with snack bar and pro shop
.
The course is ok, but you have to carry your bag from the clubhouse across the street to the golf course, if you are handicaped it is a haul
Luke 8:8 And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
Great deal on range and beer combos, nice view of Seattle Skyline
Nice course. Relatively open. Nicely maintained. No water hazards. A couple holes shortened because of the loss of trees. Nice clubhouse and driving range.
Fun but not well kept and modifications disrupted the original layout. Also routing is dangerous because holes are so close to each other with out trees to block errant shots.
Covid compliant, friendly, efficient, greens good, fairways adequate, and, aside from operator error, good golf. Played with my son so it was great.
Jefferson is the driest course in the City, with the exception of 1 and 2, but the rest of the course is fabulous! They punched their greens just two weeks ago and they are rolling! Yay! It is truly a bargain for close in golfing
Beautiful views while smacking balls lol
Foot golf was fun, beware it shares the pitch and putting course. Add bonus great views of the city and Olympic mountain range on good weather days
Great course for the cost!
Jefferson has a nice 2 deck range. Staff is always nice.
Good service staff
I come for the beers and food
No golf
I like wayward balls that leave
The practice range or the golf balls that hit the BEACON HILL STREET OUT OF BOUNDS
Great place for food and golf. Driving range is the best. Lots of parking available. Changed for the better over the years.
My girlfriend and I visited for the double buckets nightly special. When I put my ticket into the ball machine on the top level, no balls came out. There was no warning that the machine was empty and I couldn't get my ticket back. I went back down to the bar to get a replacement ticket, but the young man behind the counter was extremely rude and flat out refused to give me another large bucket. He accused me of lying about the machine, saying that it was impossible for the machine to run out of balls. What?! He finally begrudgingly gave me a small bucket ticket and with a smirk said "You don't need a large bucket anyway". Needless to say, I will not be coming back to this driving range thanks to the asshat bartender. I'm giving 3 stars instead of 1 because when I emailed the manager, he apologized and offered to compensate us on our next visit.
a few great holes, but a bit confusing where to go. maybe I'm a dingus. been to better in the area. still alot of fun
Driving range is nice. Very busy at 6:30pm on a sunny day. 20 minute wait for a stall.
Best view of any driving range anywhere!
Great deals in the morning. Nice course except for the first 3 holes on the back 9 all being par 3.
Good food in the cafe/bar.
Fantastic staff and perfect greens. Get out there and enjoy the Summer golf season.
I think this is the coziest of the Seattle municipal courses. The home of golf hall of fame, O'Dea's own...Freddie Couples. Decent track...executive 9 + updated driving range.
Great Par 3 course. A good work out.
Nice facility. The range is well kept. The grill area serves good beers.
Booked the daily deal but was charged with full price. It’s my bad that I didn’t check the receipt, but disappointed :( If you booked the daily deal be sure to check the price!
Nice track not to difficult
Great, I bought a range card 4000 balls for $285. Then had a great lunch. Chili. They make it from scratch.
Very enjoyable course to play. Currently with some landscaping going on at the 7th and the 11th hole is sadly restructured but overall makes for a good outing.
My new favorite past time is the driving range. 10 bucks buys a bucket of balls and I can whack away for an hour or so. Love it.
Awesome driving range! Would love to go back and try the course :)
Great 18hole muni with a good driving range and short nine.
Didn't play a round but the driving range is fun. Close to the clubhouse/bar, relaxed and you don't have to be super quiet.
Loved this course, staff very friendly.
First time playing this course and it was great for the greens were a little rough is all
Love the driving range. Beautiful views of Seattle
Great place to spend a couple of hours hitting golf balls. The front 9 is all a really fun course for a quick round.
I really enjoyed the course. I thought the facility was in great shape. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Very busy at the range in the summer. Had to wait 20 minutes for a stall to swing the clubs but it was good to be at it again.
Favorite Muni course close in to Seattle. Plays flat and not a ball eater. Nice updated club house and driving range.
Leaves were beautiful this time of year! Seattle is cold as usual though... Employees and the players I joined in were very friendly as well(:
Nice place
Greens recently punched. Tee boxes need love as well. At least all fairways are cart drivable.
Didn't enter or play golf, but Jefferson Park itself is very pretty with lengthy walking paths. Parking on Beacon Avenue, I walk past the community center, tennis courts, putting green, driving range and club on my way to the VA Medical Center to the south.
Great staff, great youth program, well maintained course. The bar and grill is also a great place to hang out after a round.
REALLY MY FAVORITE GOLF COURSE. IT IS CLOSE TO MY HOME. THE OLD CLUB HOUSE HAD A GREAT VIBE. I UNDERSTAND THE NEED FOR THE REMODEL AND THEY DID A NICE JOB. THE PEOPLE WHO WORK THERE ARE GREAT. THE RESTAURANT IS OUTSTANDING. THE COURSE STAYS VERY DRY AND I AM NOW VERY FAMILIAR WITH IT.
IT IS JUST TOO BAD ABOUT THE 3 PAR 3'S ATARTING AT #10. #11 AND #12 HAVE BEEN CUT SHORT BECAUSE OF DYING TREES AND HAVING TO STOP GOLF BALLS FROM GOING OUT ON TO THE STREET. I HAVE HEARD THAT PLANS AND MONEY ARE IN THE FUTURE TO FIX THIS. THAT WOULD MAKE JEFFERSON MY FAVORITE FIVE STAR PUBLIC GOLF COURSE.
Can always find a stall at driving range if willing to just hit irons on the second level, and great selection of draft beer and tall boys!
Good amount of bays to use with decent range balls (not rock hard balls like Newcastle's range...). Good service and great food at the clubhouse
Hidden gem! Excellent food, great staff! They smoke their own meats...bacon, pulled pork, chicken! Have fun!
Very affordable and nice driving range, wish they had more variety of clubs to mess around with.
Friendly staff! Good location! Clean building that is well maintained. We played the par 3 and enjoyed it all.
Have nice nightly range ball specials and heat lamps on the cold days. My favorite driving range and great happy hour drinks and food
Tract needs a lot of TLC. First played Jefferson in 1965. Its gone downhill. Course needs a crew with power trimmers. Look at West Seattle for baseline.
If you happen to be in Seattle this summer and are looking for a place to go golfing, check out the Jefferson Park Golf Course on Beacon Ave. This course doesn't sport the hills that Seattle's two other major municipal courses do, but the views and surroundings make this one of the best public courses to play on in the city.
My 1st time golfing! Was fun..short 9
Range is excellent, bar and staff staff is really cool and the course is likely the driest of the Seattle munies during the winter.
Great for an after work 9 holes during the summer, and the driving range has one of the best views in the city.
Go after 8pm and get the twilight special, 2 buckets for the price of one. Too hard to hit 2 buckets of jumbo in one hour.....Exec 9 isnt bad, but keep in mind its public.
Driving range was fun I did not get on the course today prices were decent was not overcrowded
Excellent food, fast service, and enjoyed my first round of virtual golf with my son. He beat me by twelve.
One of the best kept secrets....awesome food, especially breakfast...Some of the best chefs I'm Seattle! P.s. I dont even golf, I just go for the food.
The course greens were in excellent shape. Actually fairways were great too. It's a short par 69.
Cheap golf in Seattle... Not a great course (zero water obstacles, meh fairways, fast and flat greens) but hey for $35 I'm in!
It was the Beer and Bacon fest. So much fun if you like beer and bacon... and who dosent!
Well maintained affordable golf course
Wonderful golf program for children. First Tee!
They offer so many different ways to enjoy golf at very affordable prices.
Great public course
Of the three courses that we visit, this one is by far the best with the friendliest and most helpful staff! Feels very welcoming and inviting!
The course is challenging enough and the conditions are great. Pace of play is a bit slow, but a great place for a late round.
New clubhouse and 2 level driving range. Great place near the city to hit some balls or play a round of golf.
Nice course. Nice range. Nice practice areas.
Nice.
Great spot overlooking downtown Seattle where golf if beyond reasonable both to play and hit balls..kids are free in the late afternoon!!
Very large, staff keep an eye on party's that are goofing off or play rally golf (fast and crazy)
Footgolf was missing flags. Nice that it's mostly separate from the golfers.
Fun place to take my G’sons. They absolutely loved. It and cried when we had to leave. I do wish there was more shade
Awesome range! View back to downtown Seattle, and you can have a beer while you are practicing. Need the swing oil😁 …
Pretty cool course. The homeless problem in the parking lot is weird, but you get over that quickly.
Awesome driving range with top tracer.
Frozen but fun. First out, got around in under 3 hours. Great views.
Great driving range and good price. I haven't played the course yet but I will soon.
A real public golf course. All of Seattle's community is there. Great range, food and service!
Great city golf course. Fairways and greens are in good shape and the views are not bad either.
The community hub of Beacon Hill. Not sure if there's a better value in golf around, and this is possibly the most diverse golf course on the planet.
I do not golf. The course is large enough to hike through and no one bothers you.
Salvation army bbq it was great. Five star for a BBQ softball golf horshoe it was a fun time
Interesting and a lot of patience
I have not been here in years! What an awesome improvement adding the awesome driving range! I'll be back!
Great driving range, friendly staff and a fun course with good prices.
Course is not that well maintained. Summer rates are too big expensive and not worth it
Awesome place. Heaters work. Beer and bucket of ball specials. I would love to go here more often.
Nice public golf course.
Gorgeous views of downtown Seattle from driving range. Helpful front desk that answered all beginner questions.
Amazing driving range, restaurant ain't bad. Sunset views are phenomenal.
Play tennis at this park. Two of the nets are in need of repair. Other than that they are good courts to play at.
Fun and typical USA public golf club as I think.
Great course, and very personable employees
Fire off rounds of dimpled orbs at the space needle.
Space limited on the weekends but you'll find most weekdays pretty open.
Beautiful course. Adjacent to a park. Adequate parking. Reasonable rates. Expansive views.
Awesome digital ball tracking on the upper deck. Friendly staff and a nice place
Easier, short course with flat fairways and hilly fairways. Nicely maintained.
Jefferson Golf Course is surrounded by beautiful trees and landscape. You'll forget that you're in the city.
Great par 3 none 6 holes in the back. Fantastic w family.
This park has tons of fun stuff to do for all ages. Kids love the water spray park
Only four stars to keep you all away :) It's a great Muni.
It's a muni golf facility. Wish there was a grass range or short game area.
Underrated public course. If it was good enough for Freddie Couples to learn on, it will work for you.
Had great time with my son driving. Balls and drinks
Very nice facility. Pretty good public course.
Great park, big play area with a decent view of downtown and Olympic range.
The course is currently in great shape!
Great golf course for amateurs and learners... And I guess foot golfers *rolls eyes*
The par 3 tees are an embarrassment.
Loved it
Great driving range and public course
Urban golf is pretty good, even though they had to decimate the back nine.
Nice course tucked in the city area. Staff was great
Great ti- chi class on wed. Need more programs with reasonable cost/ free for seniors
Smoked Duck Flauta at Jefferson Park Golf Course... delicious!!
Always a great time and friendly service get here after 2pm for quickest tee times
Good place to go to the driving range and round of golf
Awesome skatepark, a must if you happen to be in the emerald City.
Among the best Muni courses I've ever played!
Loved It!
Good driving range, confusing parking.
We do the short 9. Perfect for beginners
Nice and modern facilities but course is boring and flat.
One of my favorite muni courses. Challenge enough and close to home.
Great course for the price. Easy to walk too
Good value for your golf dollar, friendly staff.
FootGolf is super fun!
Decent shape and nice driving range and putting green.
Little muddy today, but a good day of golf. Bring an extra towel!
Fun range with top tracer trackers.
Big place, a lot of things to play and the most interesting is sprinkler.
Love this place. Great family area with lots of things to do
Well maintained, definitely coming back
excellent to have a good time
Great food, awesome view, and a fun short 9.
Always a good place to go and work on a few things at the range
The staff is very nice and the smoked pork is delicious
Great place to get away for a quick round with nice views.
Nice course. Great driving range
It was a blast! Hit range balls. The staff helped me to pick a package that includes a beverage and a bucket of balls.
Good views of Eastside and Seattle. Well kept and good for less frequent players.
Vagrant shuffle takes place right beside here.
Beautiful park with golf court and many more entertainments
Very wide open range of area. Great views of Downtown Seattle.
Very wet today but drier than most courses on a rainy day
Clean place. Friendly staff. Beautiful view of the Seattle
Good service, nice driving range and putting.
