Reviews of Eaglewood Golf Course
The Autofest here at Eaglewood was one to remember. Awesome vehicles from all over the spectrum. Makes & Models had an awesome display there including a decibel meter that challenge enthusiasts of all ages to rev up their engines and measure the exhaust sound. The crowds went wild and made the experience memorable. If you haven’t attended yet there’s always next year.
The location of the course is great! The layout gives plenty of beautiful views of the city and landscape below. The course is challenging enough, the greens are great. If I lived here this would be one of my favorite courses. If I pass by again, I will definitely come again. I highly recommend this course to those who enjoys golfing with a view.
Staff was friendly and welcoming. The range was nice, I liked the added alignment sticks and club cleaners. One of our carts was newer and had a large tablet for distances and scorecard, very nice!
The course was in good shape, tees and fairways were ok, the greens and bunkers were immaculate.
The pace of play was pretty slow on the front 9 though, thankfully several groups quit after that.
One thing I didn’t like was the tees for black and blue were combined on most holes. I would have liked on option between playing the tips and the whites.
Overall a great course with elevation changes and views of the valley….
Some next level views. The course was in great shape and I had a great time playing it! Look forward to more tee shots from #8.
I've played Eaglewood many times over the years but haven't recently until today. It has always been a fun layout with great views of the surrounding mountains and valley below. My initial impressions today were that it felt more like a private venue than a public course. The practice areas are very nice and the course is in excellent shape especially given the very hot year we have had. The golf carts are the nicest I have used ever. I play mostly public courses but, in my opinion, they would be fitting on almost any private course. There is a great deal of remodeling going on with the clubhouse that is an indication of greater things yet to come. We even got to see a large eagle today which didn't hurt the experience. Overall a great day on the golf course. I would recommend Eaglewood to anyone.
First time playing here, Cart girl came around probably 6-7 times which was great. Course design was fun we enjoyed the elevated tee boxes on many of the holes. Greens played fast. They were a little bit hard but overall a great course. Can't wait to come back
A real nice course. Good price. Good staff. The public needs to up their golf etiquette. Replace and fill divots. Repair ball marks on the greens. That's up to us as golfers to take better care of this very nice course.
The course is challenging enough and the views are maybe the best in the valley. The recent remodel looks great and they also have new carts. The front 9 is pretty wide open while the back 9 is more narrow. All in all a fun course to play.
This course is amazing! I normally just golf in Utah county, but going here was like a breath of fresh air. For the price, it almost felt like a country club. The greens and fairways were so well maintained! Clubhouse and golf carts were nice also.
Beautiful golf course! Tee box's, fairways and greens are in great shape. Golf carts are clean and in great shape. Club house was being rebuilt so I can't say much about it. Staff was polite and professional.
Eaglewood never disappoints. With the fall colors and mountains backdrop it's just absolutely beautiful. The course is always well manicured and maintained. The greens are well keep up and play true. Love this golf course.
Had a memorial tournament at Eaglewood and the crew took care of all the details. The course was beautifully set against the mountains and great salt lake backdrops. Each hole was well maintained and made for a wonderful playing experience.
In late October, I half-expected the course to have some noticeable signs of wear and tear. Nope. Greens and all cuts immaculate. Staff, incredible pleasant and even took the time to answer my questions in a very courteous and kind manner. Top notch facilities. Top of the line golf carts, and a solid pro shop.
LOVE SLC golf! Was visiting from Phoenix and booked a round here and was amazed at the quality of golf we got for a $50 green fee! we have our fair share of pretty courses in Phoenix but Eaglewood was gorgeous. Very challenging, especially if you hit the occasional errant drive like I do.
Eaglewood is one of Utah’s most enjoyable golf courses. Today was especially fun as I took my son golfing with his grandfather for the first time. While our game was sub par 😝 it really only mattered that we were together having fun. We felt spoiled by the breathtaking fall foliage and the stunning views of the Great Salt Lake. We hope to return to Eaglewood soon!
Grew up playing here. Everytime I've played here, the course has been in great shape. Greens are fast and break more than what is visible. Really great views, especially on the back 9 (specifically hole 13). All around, a great track!
Played a great round here! The kids in the pro shop were super nice. The clubhouse was under construction but they helped us coordinate pizza delivery as we finished the front 9. Super cute clothes and hats in the shop. Fun day! We gave the guys in the shop some pizza as a thanks. Great time. We will be back!
Beautiful course. Challenging and fun. Need better signage on golf cart or scorecard or course for determining distances and lay of the holes. It would speed up play. Need water on the carts or available on the holes. Saw a teenager chipping on the practice putting green and nobody stopped him.
This was my first time at Eaglewood. The greens were great! There are some dead grass spots in the fairways but what public course doesn't have those in utah right now? The holes are challenging but fun and the views are great.
I played 9 this morning and our group was first off the tee. This is one of the best-kept public courses in Utah and has plenty of fun holes. Great design of the course overall and the price is very reasonable as well. Even though it’s a bit of a drive for me, I’ll definitely return here in the future.
Eaglewood is a great golf course. In great condition! Always a fun time, but also challenging. One thing I would fix is that the women’s tee boxes do not point towards the fairway. It matters to us too! That is why only the 4 stars. Thank you for hearing me! 5 stars!!! Eaglewood is the best!!!
One of my favorite courses! Very well maintained and have brand new carts! They also have great Friday afternoon rates
New club house updates look great! Greens, fairways and too box's are in great condition. Golf carts are super clean. Highly recommend golfing here!
An amazing day (18) holes. Staff was great. Allen was kind enough to bring us out our water bottles we left on then counter. Always a great experience!
Always friendly staff. Recently joined a league night and have been playing course for a few years! Even through Venue construction, it has been easy to book a tee time. Greens are getting better and overall course maintenance up keep. Keep up the good work!! Always look forward to going to Eaglewood Golf Course!!
The course was in good shape the greens were great, new quiet carts.
Good pro shop staff to deal with. Nice experience.
First time playing this course and Loved it!
Staff was great at the desk and got us out on the back nine for an amazingly fun day:)
Will definitely play here again!
One of the best golf courses in the salt lake city area. Greens and fairways are well maintained. I really enjoy the views this course has to offer! The pro shop staff are always friendly. You won't be disappointed in booking your next tee time here
New Yamaha carts. Righteous dudes! Course was in great shape. I thought I was going to have to park in N SLC and take the shuttle
Nice golf course. Tough pins today with sloppy quick greens. Too bad so many slow players out there. Otherwise it would have been a great day.
Enjoyed the golf course. The front nine was quite slow and the back better. Great views of the scrub oaks in the mountains
the laws of physics don't apply on The Greens at this golf course. Whatever you read do the opposite.
Amazing views, and a big challenge. Tight fairways, fast greens.
One of the best conditions for a public course in the valley.. Truly impressed with how well everything was maintained, clean cut and just a fun course.
This is a challenging track. But I love it. The course is always in great condition. And the views are top shelf..
Tough little course. Plenty of narrow fairways and tight pin placements to keep you on your toes. Friendly staff and well maintained clubhouse. Lots of elevation to keep you guessing. I recommend a cart or you can call walking 18 your cardio for the week.
What can I say one of the Gems of the Salt Lake Valley - As a golfer from the East Coast who moved to San Diego, I have been blessed with playing some amazing courses, and Eaglewood is one! The Second hole, short par four but a great risk reward and sets the round! Great Staff and worked with me who booked a wrong tee time. Get out play a round enjoy the best scenery in the Valley!
Eaglewood is always in pretty good condition. Only thing I would want improved is the tee boxes to have a sand/seed bucket next to par 3 tees to fill in divots.
This is a fun course. The back 9 has some very interesting holes, but it gets tight so bring some extra balls!
Amazing course. Probably in my top 3 courses I’ve played. Gorgeous views, fun course with a great difficulty level.
A great place to view sunsets over what is left of the great Salt Lake.
Beautiful in snow. Popular sledding area.
Beautiful course. Challenging and fun. Need better distance markers on the course or Gps units on the carts for determining distances and layout of the holes. It would speed up play. More often passes from the drink/snack cart. Only saw it twice the entire round
Beautiful day! Had a friend join from Salt Lake loved the course in terrific shape be back next week..
Eaglewood is always a pleasure. Beautiful scenery and the course is well maintained especially for the price. Proshop is always well stocked. Very friendly staff. Look forward to a lot more rounds here this year.
Fun course. Good views. They take good care of the track. Everything leans towards the west. (FYI) They’ve upgraded the carts and the clubhouse seems to be a coming a long. Should be a really sweet spot with some class. 10/10 recommend.
The new golf carts are awesome! I would ask for the pro shop to add bug spray since it infested with mosquitoes on the course!!
Great course with fantastic views. Very well rounded course, it's my go-to for out of town guests that don't want to spend a fortune for a great day of golf.
Gorgeous course, but rate of play is unbelievably slow and there are no marshals (at least that we can across) to help reinforce this. Played a 5.5hr 18 holes with carts and waited 15+min on most tee boxes on the back 9. Even came across a group walking the course with their dog. Won’t be going back during twilight hours.
Eaglewood is exhilarating and challenging. What adds to experience is the western view of sunsets, the spaciousness of the Great Salt Lake. The rates are a bargain for playing the game you love.
This course is a blast!! Views, great grass and greens. It’s plenty challenging and really fun to play.
Eaglewood is a beautiful and challenging golf course! A fun course to play but it can be difficult if your not hitting the ball as good as you would like. I’ve played this course for many years and love coming and playing always! I highly recommend it. Thanks
Always a good time! Beautiful course, the fairways are always in perfect shape. The views are amazing! The entire building is getting new updates. The course can be challenging. Hit your landing spots from drives and the par 4's are alot of fun!
I am reluctant to write a review about Eagle Wood because it is such a gem and I want it be kept on the down low, the course is always in great shape, challenging but great views. The course is also making a big effort to upgrade the pro shop, etc.
One of my favorite tracks!
Grate and beautiful golf course. Very fun and challenging holes. Would highly recommend taking a golf cart it’s very long and has lots of slopes would be challenging to walk
We had a great round of golf at Eaglewood today! The course is in great shape and the scenery is spectacular. It felt like a mini golf getaway just a few miles from SLC. super fun course for all levels. We will definitely be back.
I’ve love this course. The staff is friendly and easy to work with. The greens are clean and well maintained. The area is amazing a beautiful. The view is great of the valley.
The greens roll good just be careful to not be on the wrong side of the green since most greens have challenging ondulation. Fairways are in great conditions, flush it all day long. The light rough around the greens is forgiving enough that you know you'll make it out but challenging to control the spin. First time? I recommend using the white stakes and fire away but having beta(info) from some who has played is helpful because the course is has lots of elevation changes and makes it challenging to gage how where your ball will land. (The fairwways in the distance are wider and more forgiving than they appear). The scenery is great, everywhere you look it's nice and the folks at the PRO shop are welcoming and helpful. I'll be back Eaglewood you won this match but I'll be back with better game.
Course was in excellent shape and cannot wait for the new clubhouse to be ready. Hopefully they will have a new chef to have great food in this new great space
My wife and I enjoyed playing this course! Fairways and greens are very well kept! The staff was very welcoming! We will definitely be back!
Fun course with varied terrain and a good mix of difficult to less difficult holes. Greens were in very good shape today and the fairways were nice and green despite the recent hot weather.
Little backed up of the first two holes but the pace picked up after that. The remodel is looking nice! Can’t wait to see when it is finished.
Course was in good shape, however there wasn’t much as far as amenities. No food available, very limited beverage choices and nobody driving the course with beverages or snacks.
I took 3 friends to golf at Eaglewood for Labor Day. We had a great time and really enjoyed the course.
Beautiful course, well maintained. Green speeds varied throughout the course and the pin locations were slightly cheeky. But all in all a great course
Beautiful golf course. Staff very friendly and professional to help you with all of your needs.
Awesome course with great views. Such a great deal and the greens were pristine. I was traveling to Utah to visit friends and the public courses at home can’t compare. Great pro shop too!
Braden Mutchie made this course a memorable experience. Thanks for all you did for our group today!
Great course. Played the back 9 in the morning and was treated to great views and mountain shade the whole time.
Nicely maintained course with some challenging holes. Friendly, helpful staff and priced right.
They have new golf carts that are like the Cadillac of golf carts! ⭐️ The greens are hard to read on this course but fun course to play
Great course, and friendly staff. Bob at the pro shop is awesome, very accommodating!
Great staff, answered questions I had about the simulators they got. Fantastic course!
Great course for a county course. Excellent greens. Overall condition = A+
Greens are in excellent shape - rolling true. The newly sodded tee boxes on a couple of holes look like they’re almost ready for action. Should be a great Summer at Eaglewood!
The course was very nice. First time there loved it. The staff was extremely nice. Thanks guys
I'm local. It's my favorite course. The course is AWESOME and in great shape. The league is super fun. Most notable, the staff is incredibly nice and helpful. Also, they are in the process of redoing the clubhouse and the grill (George's has the best hotdog this side of SLC). In short, the place is dope.
There’s a reason we are getting married here! Course is in fantastic shape, Marshal kept pace of play, and great views. Can’t wait to see how the renovations turn out. Just need better signage for hole direction.
Fantastic team at Eaglewood course and such a lovely course. Challenging without being brutal. The views and layout with the houses and course structure are wonderful. Tyler and the team are so helpful and friendly. I would recommend to anyone to go and have a round.
Tim and Libby.
Great course for the money and greens are well kept. Gave me a rain check for someone who canceled last minute. Good job EW.
Great challenging track. Update your clubhouse and you would have a pretty awesome Colorado experience. Great number nine hole.
Very friendly golf pro shop staff. Allen was great and so are your other young guys. Nice driving range off grass. Please give some high school kid a job and get a beverage cart out there on a hot day as long as the heat in over 80*.
First time playing in a while, great to be back on the links. Played the first nine. Some great lines, interesting mix of blind upward hills, long downhill draws, and much more. The views alone are worth playing. I started with a bucket of balls on the driving range, and it was the most beautiful range I’ve ever played on. Facilities are great, staff is friendly and attentive, prices are cheap. Don’t miss this course, it was such a great afternoon!
Pace of play was pretty slow and the marshall/pro shop was unable to affect it in any reasonable way. There is no food available unless you count the basket in the pro shop that has a couple bags of skittles and some peanuts. Many of the tee boxes are all torn up, putting the tee blocks in strange locations. On the bright side, the greens were in pretty good shape. Golf car worked. Layout of the course is still really good but it's already pretty darn dry, which of course is not necessarily under Eaglewood's control with the drought.
We had a great time. There are four of us who played. We are all graduates of Logan high school, class of 1964. So it was fun to get together. The course was in great shape. The staff in the pro shop were friendly and professional. We passed by a couple of the grounds crew during our game, and they were very polite and friendly as well. The view from the course is magnificent. The course is a crown jewel of North Salt Lake.
Extraordinary value. The course was in great condition, especially the greens. The course design is the perfect combination of difficulty and fun. I look forward to my next visit to Salt Lake and a second round of golf at Eaglewood.
Still trying to figure out why it's so cheap for such an amazing public course. Fast greens that are well maintained with a variety of hole types. Easy enough for beginners but with features to challenge anyone. Favors accuracy over distance.
Played a few times and since I'm out of town I had to rent. The rentals are mediocre and limited but staff was very friendly and next time I'll make it a priority to pack my clubs so I can play here again
Great course in great shape. Already have a tee time scheduled for my next outing.
Course was in excellent shape but some tee boxes could of been cut a little bit over all had a great time thanks
A wedding reception. Very noisy, entrance at night was not well lighted, pinch point upon entrance, stairs.
Awesome course. Always love the views any time I can get out and play Eaglewood.
this course is one of my favorites in the valley. prestige greens, carts with eaglewood tees and course challenge was perfect even being a higher handicapper. can’t wait for my next round here.
Absolutely love this course. Challenging, but not too brutal that you'll come away wanting to sell your clubs. The staff is great and they keep the place in great condition all season long. During the summer I play here once a week at about 6 AM and Eaglewood is definitely the best way to start your morning.
This is a really fun layout. Hole #8 is my favorite eighth hole in the state. Other great holes at Eaglewood include #9, #13, #16.
A great course if you’re looking for a bit of a challenge while looking over the valley! A combination of hidden greens and sloping fairways on certain holes requires some technical ability. The course was in great shape and the speed of play was quick. If you have time for 18 holes I would highly recommend!
This was the best golfing experience of my life. A nice tall man helped me have an immaculate experience. I think his name was Brandon. Highly recommend Eaglewood, I will never golf anywhere else.
I’ve played Eaglewood multiple times this summer, and it’s become one of favorites to come back to. After playing most of the inner city & surrounding courses, it’s always been well worth the drive for me. The fall colors make the mountain view even better right now, especially since the summer smoke is mostly gone. It’s far enough out of the city that you might even see a deer or two come out of the oak brush. The grounds are well maintained, pace of play has never been an issue, and the Allen & the rest of the staff have always been very friendly & accommodating. 👍🏼
Beautiful course with lush greens and wonderful staff, definitely coming here again
We love this course! The staff is excellent, super easy, and the views of the valley are amazing. It's challenging enough to not get too frustrated, but you have to think about each shot, especially the putz as everything falls towards the valley no matter what it looks like. I would recommend golfing here anytime!
Great time. Loved course. Plenty of challenging holes. Only concern is a foursome ahead of us we’re slow and had to wait all the time for them. They did not rake sand after they were out. Only on the last nine. Definitely will play golf there again.
sand after they were finished
Kaemin (give her a raise!) and her team were awesome. Fantastic service and food. Shout out of course to George as well! Fantastic on everything! Thank you all!
Play was a little slow on the front nine but I get that’s hard for the course to control. Course was in great shape. Challenging, but not crazy hard either. Well done Eaglewood!
The course is in great shape and was challenging as always. Great views of the mountains and valley make it a lot of fun. Also, the burgers in the cafe are really good. Don’t skip lunch there. Now if I’d only hadn’t lipped out that par putt on 16. (Sigh!)
Eaglewood is in the top 2 of my most favorite courses in Utah and I have played at all of them. The course is always at its best condition. All the greens are consistent in speed and always well maintained. I love the combination of difficulty within the 18 holes. You have some that are nice and open while some are more narrow and challenging. As an apprentice architect,, I could see that they invested a lot of time and effort in the course design process.
The course overlooks Antelope Island and the whole North side of the valley. It's totally worth my drive from Cottonwood Height .
The only issue is hole #9 is right next to the range so you'll find plenty of range balls 150 yards from the hole. Other than that, it's always a great time at Eaglewood.
P.S: as you come across the bad reviews about bad pace of play. Keep in mind that only happens on the weekend which I know better not to come public courses. I usually have tee times on weekdays and it feels like a private course to me.
The pro-shop staff welcomes you right when you walk through the doors. They clarify when and how long you have until your tee time. The course is also in great shape for this early in the season!
Great course. Always in good shape and great to enjoy the views while golfing.
Eaglewood is in good shape this year. The greens are smooth and the course is well-maintained. The guys in the pro shop seem happy to help and not bothered that you want to play some golf. Great price, fun course
First time playing here- we loved it. It was a great layout, soft and receptive conditions, good scoring and great scenery. The greens roll true and the course was in good shape. Pro shop staff was friendly and online booking was a piece of cake. The Marshal was out keeping pace of play up and we appreciated it. Even the hot dogs were good. I can’t wait to come play again.
A beautiful course that is challenging to play but not torture for the average golfer. Everything is well marked so if you've never played there you can easily find the next hole. Love this course. Will be back soon. Plus the prices are great!
Proshop employees were helpful, and friendly. This was first time playing here and I was impressed by the condition of the course. It is one of the best course conditions I have played in a while. Greens were immaculate. Some difficult holes, and beautiful views of the city made this a wonderful day.
Very well kept course with beautiful views of the Salt Lake Valley. Highly recommend!
Club house is being remodeled but cart person helps .
Greens are great and pace of play was good which is important.
Great public course with friendly staff. The course is maintained extremely well and in a beautiful location. Very fun and challenging course.
The course is in really good shape. The greens are smooth and fairly receptive. From the back tees the course can be extremely challenging, but from the White tees it is very reasonable. The course is located in a beautiful setting with a great view of the Valley.
I played the back 9 over Easter weekend. It was crowded but the Eaglewood staff was great at keeping the pace of play. Course was in excellent shape, especially the greens! They rolled very nice. Views of the valley are also a plus. Will definitely play again.
A great, challenging course, always in great condition with a top notch pro shop complimented with a courteous staff. I’ve been playing courses in Utah for 20+ years and this facility has always been on my list of favorites. Well worth a visit if you’re in the area.
Would have been 5 stars if I could have obtained a glizzy on the turn but fun, challenging course in good condition!
Always a great time at Eaglewood. Awesome greens and views for days!
The course was in pretty good condition, greens were rolling true, and the staff were helpful and polite. Bathrooms on the course could use some attention. I enjoyed my round, and I thought it was worth the price and the 45 minute drive.
Best Conditioned course we have played this year. Greens are smooth and run true. Great tours for the money. Would highly recommend this course to anybody who wants to play a fun intriguing and well manicured course
Course was amazing but 3 hours for 9 holes is unacceptable. They should have had a marshall on the course to speed up play. Will like to add the staff is awesome. The greens where extremely fast and the fairways were like hitting off carpet. Except for the slow play this course is awesome.
In great shape and worth the money to play. The view is spectacular of the Great Salt Lake!
Loved the course layout and the elevated greens. Also the views are amazing!
One of the best kept secrets in Utah is playing 9 holes in the evening at Eaglewood golf course. It’s only $20 bucks with a cart and the weather is perfect in the evening. Beautiful course and fun to play. Tough greens. Highly recommended!
Had a great time golfing today. The guys in the pro shop were very friendly and courteous. The course with the exception of the 18 hole was in great shape. (Flood damage?)
George’s Grill bacon cheese burger was delicious!
I love this course. I have never played it and had it be in bad shape. Very challenging, but still a beautiful course with beautiful views. Staff was friendly. George's Grill is a must for great food at the turn or after your round. This is a must play!!
The hills on this course make it a little more challenging but the weather was beautiful the greens were in good shape and I played really well! It was a perfect day of golf with good friends. Followed up with a nice meal at the restaurant in the clubhouse.
Great course, greens are in great shape. Beautiful scenery to enjoy while you play.
Love this course! The greens and traps are really well maintained (not that I am ever in the traps).
I always enjoy playing this course. The course is very well maintained. There is a lot of variety and challenge in the play due to terrain and elevation changes. Great valley and area views from many holes as well.
One of my go to favorites in the Northern Utah area.
Fun and challenging course. Course is always in great condition. The pro shop has some of best fun new brands. Don’t forget to stop in the cafe for a great sandwich! One of my favorite courses in the Salt Lake valley.
I discovered Eaglewood this year and I'm so glad I did. When I play there I thoroughly enjoy myself, even if my golf goes South. There aren't many public courses and even private courses in Utah that compare to the quality of play that Eaglewood has to offer. The course is beautiful, the greens immaculate. I feel as if I'm golfing on a premier country club golfcourse. The clubhouse personnel are always friendly and helpful. I wish I lived closer to the course so I can play there more often.
Beautiful course, nice staff and the views are amazing!
The pro shop is ALWAYS kind, understanding, and friendly. While still setting boundaries that help there business thrive
Played Eaglewood a dozen times this year. The course was well maintained through out the year. I visited the driving range multiple times a week. The staff was amazing - very friendly and always willing to help, whether with recommendations, course conditions or finding a suitable tee time. Hidden gem: George's Cafe. The food there is excellent. My wife and I would routinely stop by just for dinner. Best burgers in Bountiful.
Great course for this area. Great views and lots of tough holes. Clubhouse can be a little strict tho so you shouldn’t try to get away with anything sneaky. Otherwise professional. I go here at least 1-3 times per year when I feel like challenging myself or driving up to Davis county and Valley View is full.
The course always is in great shape…however, as a single player I don’t like getting paired up with other people. At Eaglewood they don’t give you this choice, they pretty much tell you…too bad…that’s how it is
Eaglewood is easily one of the top courses on the Wasatch Front. Clubhouse and range are both top notch. The layout is challenging but fair, and the landscaping of the course is really well done. I particularly like the back 9, holes 15-18 are a great closing 4 with two par 3-s and a driveable par 4 to finish things out. I have also always found the staff to be nice and helpful. I'll be playing here for years to come.
I have been twice. Both times I have loved golfing there. The course is challenging both in length and accuracy. It is best to go during business hours due to being a popular choice. The on-site cafe has great food and is a good choice for after 9 holes.
Love this golf course. Always well kept and not overly crowded. Staff was great and worked hard to keep the game moving.
Love this golf course! Play it each week if not every other week and it’s always in great shape. The staff is organized, friendly and helpful. This is an amazing part of our community here in North Salt Lake!
Course is in immaculate shape especially with the drought situation. Staff was very curteousand kept things going on the first tee. We hadn't played here for quite some time but will definitely make Eaglewood a high priority on our local golf outings. We loved that they had a Marshall who also kept things going on the course.
I played last Saturday and the Saturday before (9 holes). The course is in good shape for this time of year. It has been quite busy but that’s understandable after the long winter. Enjoy golf again.
Great course. Good variety of obstacles and elevations. The back is pretty tough. A few narrow fairways and a couple holes that are 'huck and pray' as you can't see the hole or even a good part of the fairway from the tee box. Fun to play and beautiful valley views.
Had an amazing experience golfing this course all year. It was always in tip top shape and in one tournament they hosted, it was almost as if the course was in professional condition both grounds keeping and competitively. They put on a pure event and we had a ton of fun playing in it. Tyler is extremely creative. Can not wait for next year. This place easily became my top 5 courses I’ve played.
Fun course and very friendly staff.
Only complaint is it took two of us 4.5 hours to play the front 9. Between groups teeing off multiple times and looking through the forest/water for balls, the front 9 was backed up at each hole with multiple groups. Oversold? Not sure. But 4.5 hours for 9 holes is rough!
Fantastic day golfing here. Gorgeous views of the surroundings. Not crowded at all had a leisurely golf time. Never felt pressured at any point. Fairways were cut to perfection oh, balls had a great role after hitting. Greens were in Immaculate shape with soft Landings. This is a perfect time to go with few crowds and great Greenery.
Course was spectacular. Would have been 5 stars but the play was extremely slow. So either they booked too many golfers or they allowed a group to continue to play super slow. 4 groups stacked on a par 4 should never happen and it happened 3 times today.
Course is in great shape, Friendly staff and new carts.
Events: Eaglewood has been a great spot events. We look forward to their annual 4th of July party every year! Music, food trucks, stuff for the kids and a legit firework show to end the night. It's a must every year! We hosted our wedding there as well. They require you to use their caterer, but the food was super tasty and overall an easy, seamless process that made the day just a bit more great!
Golf: Nice facilities, greens are usually in great shape and it's hard to beat the view on top of a mountain. Greens always break toward the water, which is expected. They don't have crazy hard or poorly placed hole locations so it's a challenging, but enjoyable course for the average golfer. 5 stars! Love going here whenever possible.
I took my daughter to the course awhile ago. Unfortunately there was a club tournament going on that day so we couldn’t play a round, but the course looked beautiful! We decided to hit a few buckets of balls at the driving range. The course pro, Tyler, took the time to give my daughter some pointers and she was hitting the ball great! Tyler is super knowledgeable about the game and is an all around great guy! After we were done at the range we went and ate at the grill. Hands down, one of the best burgers I have had! Can’t wait to go back!
Fantastic course with great views. Can't wait to see the new pro shop/restaurant when it's completed.
Great course that is always in great condition no matter the time of year. In the hills of the wasatch front there are a lot of elevation changes in the holes. Greens are in great condition and it is always a good time on this course. Careful on Sunday during peak season as they always have a full tee sheet and can get backed up.
Senior golfers. The course is always in great condition. The staff is very helpful and positive experience. Thanks
Eaglewood Golf Course is a great place to golf. Whether for a corporate sponsored golf outing or or social time with your buddies it's guaranteed fun time. The fairways and greens are well manicured and well kept. The course is challenging yet scenic! Staff is personable and professional. Love coming to this course.
More challenging than most city courses. Interesting, fun, really well-maintained therefore consistently good greens and fairways and great setting with long valley, mountain and lake views makes for enjoyable experience. Management easy to deal with. Love it.
If you haven't played Eaglewood Golf Course (and why haven't you?) , or if you haven't played it in year or two - you are missing out! This past year even with the weather being so dry, I was blown away by the condition of this course. It was amazing! Also, the staff in the club house are awesome! You actually feel like they are glad you decided to play golf there - yep, kind of shocking compared to other places. Thanks and Keep it up!
The sand traps needed to be worked by the the Maintenance crew but besides that the course was in great shape
One of my favorite courses in Utah and this time of year is the best
The views are awesome. Beautiful course. Greens are good. Spacing between groups could use a little help. But I gave it a 5 star because of the way the course has been taken care of and the employees attitudes
Great round, just challenging enough for everyone, well maintained course, clubhouse remodel is looking very good!!
Probably my favorite course for a quick round of golf. They take really good care of the fairways/ greens, carts all in good condition, and helpful staff. I play here about once a week and I’ll keep doing so as long as they’ll let me.
Watch out for hole 16, a dog attacked me on the course! Somebody should really do something about that. Besides that, love the course and in pretty good shape. Especially for March.
What a great course! Conditions were excellent. Layout was challenging, would help to have gps or yardage book due to numerous blind shots. Really enjoyed the experience.
First time golfing at eaglewood and loved it. Course is in great shape and the greens are excellent. Also I only saw ball divets on the par 3 Big thanks to
The golfers fixing their divets. I will be back
Beautiful course. Played in mid October. Greens are quick but fair. Unfortunately pace of play trended towards six hours. We sat and waited on most every shot to the point that the thirty minute wait between 9 and 10 finally convinced us to leave. Shame, we get out to this area once or twice a year. If you have the time, go for it. If you are looking for a 4-5hr round, might need to search for better options.
Beautiful course, very challenging but fun nonetheless!
My Wife and I golfed with another couple last Friday, the course was beautiful and well cared for. The Staff was helpful and we were not held up by the group in front of us. Was a great time can’t wait to get back and try your afternoon discount. Thanks Sterling
I am a pretty new golfer and I spent a lot of weekends playing this course last summer because it quickly became my favorite. I love the course design and location. Golfing here last summer helped me keep my sanity through those early months of Covid. I am looking forward to the 2021 season!
Golfing this course was cool. Our junior boys enjoyed the course with us as well. We’ll be back Eaglewood!
Love this course! Always a challenge for me and the boys. Great driving range and the course is always very well kept.
Great golf coarse and very well taken care of the fairways are very challenging and slim made it fun!! Pace of play was no issue we waited once for about 5min right at the restrooms worked out great we will definitely be back!!
I love to play at Eaglewood. The view is spectacular and the course is very playable, challenging enough but not so difficult that I can’t be successful and have fun.
Eaglewood is one of the better public courses in Utah, and the State has public courses that rival Country Club courses in other states. But it suffers from the same blind spot as most public courses. They spend a lot of time keeping the greens in good condition, but WHY CAN'T YOU BUILD A LEVEL T-BOX.? Every one of them slopes side to side and some also front to back. It can't be for drainage! It's so frustrating trying to find a flat spot to tee off!
It would be such an improvement if you'd just bring in a survey level, take up the turf and put down a flat surface. Such a better experience.
Love this course! Always in great shape, greens are fast, fairways are tight. Challenging, but fun course. Practice green and range are always well maintained. Great times playing rounds with friends or the wife, and love bringing the kids along as well.
This is by far my favorite golf course that I have played in the state of Utah. I love the elevation changes in the greens are always great. The prices are very competitive. The course is capped up as well as any course in the state. The clubhouse is always friendly and greet you with a smile. I live in Tooele but I amAlways willing to make the drive to one of the greatest golf courses in the state. Keep up the good work.
The course was in great shape and the staff in the pro shop was incredible. One of our players didn’t show and they gave me a rain check that they said I could also use in the pro shop. Luckily they have some great stuff there and I was able to use the money!
Eaglewood is a step above the rest, literally. Ever played a mountain course? Well this one is one of the best. Set up in the east hills, the grounds are always in perfect shape. You'll definitely want to come play this course again and again.
Two unique things about this course:
1. The mountainside. You're hitting up, down, over and around all sort of hills and valleys. It's incredibly unique, and it's also very challenging...in a good way. I've gotten both my best and not my best scores here. Golf, eh?
2. The views. Just stop at the 4th tee box and look along the mountain range, you can see all the way to Ogden from this eloquent lookout point.
Well priced, well maintained, well built. I would recommend Eaglewood any time you're in Utah. It's a really quick jaunt from downtown Salt Lake. Take your camera, take your buddies, and go for the green on your second hit at hole 9, you can do it.
Had a blast today. Course was in great shape. Challenging enough for all 4 of us (handicaps 20 - 7). Great views and side note, breakfast sandwich was a game changer going into the back nine.
Awesome views and great golf. Some serious elevation changes bring strategy into each shot, with tough but good greens. Home to one of the few south facing practice ranges in Utah. And the delicious grill keeps me coming back.
Great, well-maintained course on the NSL bench with views of the Great Salt Lake, Antelope Island and the Wasatch Range!
Excellent course! Well maintained greens and good soft bunkers.
The Pro Shop employees and services are really appreciated at your course. Thank you
They recognize their customers, they remember our names and are always friendly. They have made great efforts to step up their customer service and it it being noticed. Big time!
Absolutely great course would highly recommend professional staff and the view is spectacular.
Eaglewood is by far one of my favorite places to play. It challenges you off the tee with mixing in blind tee shots and lots of elevation changes. The course is always in good condition along with the greens. The clubhouse is friendly, and the calendar is packed with men’s/women’s leagues and tournaments for all skill levels. It’s a must course if you haven’t played, go!
Very nice course, but pretty poor timing/grouping management today
Eaglewood is my favorite SLC course. Up in the foothills Eaglewood has the best views of any course in the valley. I cannot believe that you can play such a beautiful course for such an affordable price. Seriously, pairing the best views, best prices, and a well maintained course is unreal. The have a great combination of holes, each with a unique strategy. Like technical par 3s? Got em. Like letting it rip off an elevated tee box? Check! Thank you Eaglewood.
Beautiful course, wonderful, friendly staff, great golf!!!
Amazing course, great layout and challenging. The whole crew working there is great from the director on down. Very personable, ran a tight shop and got us out on time. Play time was good and the whole experience was phenomenal. Two thumbs up. Great job guys.
Eaglewood Golf Course is a beautiful course. Our family enjoys golfing together and Eaglewood has a great layout for both our beginner players as well as our advanced. The staff is friendly and helpful. We will continue to golf here for many years to come.
Great course with several good challenging holes. Many pars and two birdies made it a great day out - although hot but that’s Utah this time of year 😎⛳️ …
Course is in good shape and staff are always great to work with.
A tremendous golf experience from start to finish. This staff has it down. They are friendly and made this truly enjoyable. The course was in really great shape. I’m coming back
Very well maintained. Amazing views. Didn’t have the best round but it was fun
This was my first golf season and Eaglewood Golf Course made it a fantastic experience for me. I’d go there at least once or twice a week. Staff was very professional and friendly. Loved the course, got very familiar with it. Luckily I never hit a house on the course ;)
The course was in amazing shape!! I will be coming back forsure!!
The overall experience was very good the course was an exceptional shape. The only thing we had an issue with is all the singles that were lined up behind us pushing us as a foursome some of which were quite rude and hit in to us.
I enjoy playing at Eaglewood Golf Course. The course is well kept, and the staff and golf pro are willing to help and share tips about the course. Very accommodating with the schedule and allowing 1-2 people to walk on without any issues.
This course is well maintained with a super friendly staff and a very large putting green. With elevation changes and enough variety on the holes, the course is interesting and has great views.
An Incredible golf course! What a way to lay out 18 amazing holes, on the side of a mountain. Also it’s manicured and reasonably priced. The course demands respect. Bring your A game!
Hate that you have to prepay. When you don’t know exactly who is playing when you make the tee time, or if one of the group wants to go just 9 holes, or is someone has their own cart (which all happened today), it’s a total pain to settle up. Course is nice but the prepay sucks.
Eaglewood is a great course, usually very well managed and in great shape. It’s a fairly tough layout with lots of elevation changes. Probably a moderate level for your average hack golfer like me.
Eaglewood is a must play course if you live within 45 minutes of it! I played it at least 10+ times this year and loved each round I played. It has it all. Scorable par 5's and difficult par 3's. Regardless of your golf level, you can't go wrong playing at Eaglewood. Highly Recommend!
What a great course. Par 4's are inviting, 3's are tasty, and the 5's are attack-able. Very pretty course. Up high in the valley so lots of sightlines. Also some incredible geography within the holes leaving drops and steep inclines to contend with. Get there and play, you won't regret it
Very well kept golf course. There are courses where your ball will roll or land on a dirt patch, rock pile, or some other annoying obstacle caused by the lack of care. This is not the case with Eaglewood! I would golf the course every week and love it every time.
Eaglewood has ome of the best greens and views of any course in the state. Challenging and beautiful, always a treat to play. The practice area, clubhouse, grill and event center are all excellent as well I was married there a few years ago and the event staff was incredibly helpful and the party was a blast.
This course is always in good condition, I really enjoy the course because of the challenge and the views. I’ve ended up going to eagle wood on birthday the last 3 years for 18 holes and it never disappoints.
I like this course a lot. It's a good price and beautiful scenery. They often have events that are very affordable and very fun. I will keep going here each season even though it's quite the drive from my house. Would definitely recommend.
I love this course! Greens are well kept, views are great, also one of the only courses in the Salt Lake area that you can hit Driver on the range, which is a big plus. Go here!
This course is a true gem. Scenic, challenging, well-maintained and fun course.
Not ideal for walking- to keep pace of play as the course is spread out through neighborhoods and hilly.
You’ll want a gps phone app if you’re a first-timer as there are a couple blind holes and hazards.
Great course and courteous staff! Winter deals are always a bargain and the course always had room for another group. Scenic and a great walk if you can handle the elevation; most will ride because the back 9 can be a trek.
Fun course. Nice staff. Slow pace but worth the views. Course is maintained well.
Had a wonderful time with enjoyable holes that are different and makes you create different shots. My only drawback was the fact that sandtrap have not been raked in quite some time and where packed down. I recommend discourse to anyone that enjoys a challenge!
Fantastic Golf Course! Played there this last week and really enjoyed it! Get ready for some fun hills and some scenic views, one of my favorite courses in Utah!
Golf course looked great. Staff was really nice! So glad your cafe was OPEN and your beverage cart. Definitely will be back! Thank you
Man I lost some good monies playing there. Lol. But my boys from Hawaii came down and that’s one of the courses I took them to.
The course is beautiful and the greens are undulated and tuff and billiards table smooth and fast. But we had the best time. I would love to play there again. And for free, well that’ll just be unreal! The guys in the shop were awesome as well. Just a great experience!
Awesome fireworks show every 3rd of July! Great sledding place in the winter. Plus some great golfing!
This is an amazing golf course. The view of the valley, the staff, the course itself. The course provides challenges to even the best golfers. We have appreciated the efforts that the staff (especially Tyler, Brent and John) have been to keep we golfers save.
Very well maintained and challenging golf course with amazing views.
Easy to book online or over the phone. Great food available at the grill and friendly staff. Head pro Brent Moyes knows his business. I plan on golfing at Eaglewood often in 2021.
I grew up in Bountiful and loved playing Eaglewood. Now that I’m back in Davis County, this is still one of my favorites. Course is in great shape and the layout is awesome. The scenery ain’t too bad either!
Eaglewood was in great shape. I went during the summer of 2020 to explore more courses throughout Utah and it was a blast! Hole 9 reminded me of being on PGA course with its layout! Great customer service as well.
Greens were in fantastic shape and pace of play was quick!
Awesome course. Front nine took 3 hours 👎🏻 …
Early opening with no wind was perfect. Staff was attentive and helpful.
I think this golf course is one of the absolute best in Utah. It has one-of-a-kind sunset views over the Great Salt Lake, great food at the clubhouse, and excellent warmup facilities (large, sloping putting green, and a neat looking range). To top it off, the discount tee time rates are extremely cheap and you typically can get a good deal with the PGA book. The greens can be very fast when it's dryer outside and the fairways are usually in very good shape.
Loved playing here. The course was in good condition and the staff is friendly.
Speed of play is pretty slow but love the view and the course is fun.
Course is always in great shape and really fun to play
Just played a tournament there last weekend. The course is well maintained and the greens are in great shape. Difficult course with a lot of OB but that's what makes it fun!
Eaglewood golf course is incredible. They really know how to make you feel part of the community. They always remembered who I was and asked about me. The course is very well kept. It is truly a beautiful course. This course will always be my go to course.
Absolute gem of a course. Great conditions and great price.
Great local course. This is a mountain style course, but unlike many mountain courses, there are not very many trees, just lots of hills tall grass. It can play fairly difficult from the back tee box, especially when the wind picks up. The views of the valley from this course are amazing. Intermediate skill level course.
Eaglewood is my favorite golf course and the one I play the most...and have since the day it opened!
I play golf there at least once a week during the season and prefer Eaglewood for the following reasons:
- the course is always in great condition (except when fairways are plugged and/or greens are plugged and sanded...usually 2-3 weeks)
- the professional staff are great -- helpful, accommodating, and they know the course (I hope it is because they play it enough to stay on top of maintenance and playing issues)
- they have these great cards you get stamped every time you play and every tenth round is free! (I filled up 4 1/2 cards in 2020 and used them to play 4 friday rounds!)
-the variety of holes and the overall layout is unique in Utah . . . some flat and straight, uphill and downhill (straight and doglegged), a good mix of par 3,4, and 5's, and just enough water and woods to be challenging but not frustrating (note: I've found more balls than I have lost at Eaglewood...so thanks to the mens association for playing at a good pace an leaving me some good balls behind).
-Georges Grill at Eaglewood has THE BEST sandwiches of any club I play and the always have them ready to pick up at the turn (love the sourdough bread!!
-Eaglewood is one of 4 great courses that are within 5 minutes of my home...and it is always my default course for a quick 9 (make sure to call ahead during peak season because this awesome course is a prime-season favorite for corporate tournaments).
Thanks a bunch to Brent, John and the rest of the crew at Eaglewood (past and present)!!
five stars and SIX golfballs!!
Eaglewood has been my home course since it was first built. I played in the first golf tournament ever held. The fairways and greens have exceeded all our dreams and expectations and the Eaglewood staff, past and present, have made it into a first class attraction for the citizens of North Salt Lake and those who visit from outside the city and abroad. Thank you NSL leaders who had the vision and understanding of how much the golf course has been the "Jewel of the City" , drawing thousands to want to live near and work in such a beautiful area.
The Fairways and greens were in great shape. Fantastic views!
I always love playing Eaglewood Golf Course. The view of the valley is outstanding, the holes are the right mix of challenging, and the course conditions are always very good. I know only wish I were a better golfer!
Love this course! It’s challenging, really well maintained, has beautiful views, and is friendly for a casual golfer. It’s one of my favorite courses to play in Utah.
Great location, awesome views of the mountains and lake, easy to get to from SLC (way closer than Park City)! Hands down my favorite course in the Salt Lake area. Greens are not forgiving... just remember that everything rolls towards the lake...
These guys know how to run things smoothly! The course is well kept and has quite the views of the surrounding scenery! Thanks for making it a pleasure to come and play on your course!
The course was and is in great shape for how late in the year it was. I played the course in late November and had a great experience. The elevation changes were fun and each hole is unique and different.
This is one of my golf groups favorite places to play a round of golf. They do a great job spacing the tee times so that you're not waiting on the group in front of yours. Their food at the turn is also way above your normal clubhouse cafe.
I throughly enjoy playing golf at Eaglewood!! The views of the Salt Lake Valley are amazing and the course is both challenging and enjoyable. I have been playing at Eaglewood for the past 10 years and have always brought visitors and friends to play a round. Take it from me and call and set a tee time!
Awesome round of 18 today with a yummy burger after the first 9. Greens in great shape and nothing crazy going on. Well maintained course. A+
This is by far one of my favorite courses in Utah. It is challenging and a lot of fun. Very Well kept and beyond fun. I got there about 5-10 times a year and have a blast.
One of my top courses in the valley. Views are amazing. I love a course where every hole has it’s own personality and that’s how all 18 feel at Eaglewood. Course is always in great shape!!!
Beautiful course nestled on the east bench of the foothills. If you are there on the right day you may even run into a player from the Jazz!
One of my favorite courses. The views are amazing and the course is always in very good condition. Significant elevation changes. I don’t suggest trying to walk the course.
I love golfing at Eaglewood. The staff is professional and tee times run on time which makes The game run smoothly without a lot of wait time. It's a beautiful course and well maintained.
See for yourself, for best views go during sunset.
Course was in great condition as always. pace of play was really slow took 3 hours for 9 holes with a cart. had a back up at every hole
I played this Course twice, it's still one of the best in North Salt Lake. Looking forward for another round.
Such a beautiful course! Well taken care of tons of character. The staff was top notch as well. I will definitely be back to Eaglewood in the future.
Great course, we’ll maintained!
Great course great greens. Best challenge in the area breezy today on back made for a great competition....⛳🇺🇸💪 …
Difficult but fun golf course. It is beautiful! You can see all of Davis County from the mountain top. Greens were beautiful. Great course.
Great course lay out with interesting holes. Overall in good condition with just a few tee boxes being in poor condition. Good hot dog at the turn. Slow pace of play today
This is one of my favorite mountain courses in the Wasatch front considering the quality, uniqueness for the price. I enjoy the variety; long holes, short holes, elevation change, blind shots from tees. The also do a better job with tournaments than most courses in the valley keeping the flow moving and event length to a minimum. Kudos to the management of this course.
Absolutely beautiful course and well taken care of, love to golf there any chance I get. Won't be disappointed in the great view either. Must got to golf course for those visiting Utah.
This was my first time golfing at Eaglewood and it was wonderful. I enjoyed it very much. They maintain the course very well. I look forward to go again.
Great course with a good layout and views of South Davis County. Greens are always in great shape. Staff is always helpful and friendly. One of the best in Utah.
First time playing here. Beautiful course, great layout. Friendly staff. Nice course with wonderful views overlooking lake and city.
The Course was in GREAT condition! (I loved your greens.) What a BEAUTIFUL DAY to enjoy an AWESOME Golf Course with AMAZING views. Thanks!!!
Been playing here my hole life! Great prices for some top notch golf. Food is awesome too at George’s Grill. I stop by there even when I’m not playing to grab something for lunch all the time. Highly recommend.
I love Eaglewood! It's always in great shape and I never have a problem getting a tee time. The course will challenge you while you get some of the best views in the whole valley.
The coarse is in great shape I feel very safe. There stafe spends a lot of time making sure the carts are disinfected every time there used. Everyone there is very friendly. Brent has been part of our family for as long as we have played there he is a great person to help with anything he can
Great course, greens are true. Difficult but fun, with some blind shots. Would be nice to have a Marshall for speed of play and beverage cart out.
I have played many of the Salt Lake City Golf Courses and Eaglewood blows them all away! I would say Eaglewood is the nicest public course I've play in Utah! 12/10 would recommend!
Eaglewood is a fantastic course. Challenging, picturesque and hard to believe it a public venue. It is the place to take your out of town guests to show them what golf in the city can be like.
Great morning golfing the front nine at eagle wood. I like the shade in the morning that keeps it cool.
I called 6 (closer to me) golf courses they were all booked. Eaglewood was busy and online said there was no tee times. The person when I called fit us in on the back nine and was really friendly about it. Thjs was the first time here and it was BEAUTIFUL. I will be back. Thank you fornthe gorgeous play.
Tonya and Family went above and beyond to work with us in getting all the details just right! We had a perfect Wedding Reception at Eaglewood Golf Course Event Center! Thanks to everyone!
Great fun course with beautiful views! Hole 8 is a favorite playing from elevated tees. I recommend playing this course any time as it provides a fun and challenging course!
This course is a lot of fun to play! The staff is great as well. It’s a welcoming environment for all groups and ages. Will definitely be playing here more often.
This course is absolutely beautiful! We played at sunset and views on the course were stunning. This course is very well maintained. We will most definitely be going back!
Staff are great. Course is tough. Love going on Sundays after 2pm for the $20 (9 holes) with a cart. Course was in good condition.
The golf course was in great condition with
beautiful topography.
My wife and I golfed at this course a few months ago and enjoyed every minute of it. Also, my father and I golfed as well and enjoyed our time. Looking forward to going back next year!
The golf course was an excellent condition. Someone knows what they’re doing there
Great course. Great staff. Greens are always in solid shape and try to make it out there weekly! Worth the drive up the hill.
Eaglewood GC is my favorite place to play. The people are great. The staff at George’s grill is terrific. Thank you for having us. Always a great experience.
Grew up doing the junior program at eaglewood! The practice range and green always help hone in the skills and the course always puts those to the test! Fun course with the guys of all levels! Always leave satisfied of the conditions!
Eaglewood has well kept grounds, meticulously maintained greens and nice new carts. It however is one of my less favorite courses in the area. The way the fairways are staggered out through the neighborhood makes for a less plesant view and less forgiving terrain. The uphill holes on the way back to the clubhouse from the back nine are a brutal climb.
Eaglewood is a great course, set up on the mountains with the lush greens and rolling hills - I still got to beat my dad sometime there, the only course left he gets me every time! Great service and management there!!
Beautiful views, course is always in great shape, pro shop personnel are friendly and accommodating. We love this course and play it regularly.
I took lessons at Eaglewood from Brent Moyes. Nothing but good things to say. I just started playing this year and after the second lesson I was hitting the ball so much better. He did a great job at helping me to recognize what I needed to tweak to become better. Highly recommended if you're looking to improve.
Course is in great shape and the staff are very helpful and professional. Definitely give George’s Grill a try… their burgers and cheese fries are AMAZING!
Beautiful course ! Had my best round ever so of course it gets 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
Incredible views .. and course was in excellence condition . I brought my daughters and we had a BLAST 💥! Thx u …
I played the course during the pandemic and they did everything right to keep people safe while allowing them to enjoy the course. Friendly staff and neat place with a great view.
Fun place to golf. Course is beautifully tucked into the hill side, with gorgeous views of the valley. The course has a nice layout. Highly recommended.
Beautiful course. Well maintained. Not too easy but not overly difficult. Great views. Each hole unique.
Love this golf course. Long and lots of elevation changes. Difficult but still playable for bogey golfers like myself. Unless you are a mountain goat, take a cart.
Love this course! It’s in great condition!
Course and Greens in very good shape, however driving range tee area had a half inch of standing water on it at 9:00 AM.
So far it my favorite golf in utah
Amazing Team and Course!!! We did a company fund raiser for United Way and they we great to work with and extremely professional. Everyone had a wonderful time and were extremely impressed with the small details they focus on to make the tournament great. Thank you Brent, John and Rick!!!
Easy to get a reservation online or on phone. Beautiful and challenging course. Very well maintained. One of my favorite mountain courses.
Such a gem in the hills of the Bountiful/Woods Cross area. Great views, great conditions and great staff. Always a fun round at Eaglewood.
Beautiful course and always great golf!
Always great at Eaglewood, fun course challenging at times but always fun
Nice course. Some challenging holes, including a short par5 #9. Lots of variety with some nice views of Antelope Island and the Great Salt Lake.
Hands down one of the best and most challenging courses in the Salt Lake area. The views are spectacular, the course is incredible and a must play any time you are visiting Salt Lake.
Friendly staff on a relaxed course. The course is nice and fun to play.
A beautifully fun course, on a beautiful day!
A beautiful course. Played there often. Has a wide variety of different type of holes. Some long, some very short, uphill, downhill, and even some blind holes from the tee box. All in all, a very good course. Like a lot of courses anymore...Stay in the Fairway or you may be buying windows.
Great course close to home. We go hit balls here frequently and use the practice facilities. Great valley views and fun course along the bountiful bench!
This is an amazing course! The golf was super fun and the views were amazing as well! Couldn't picture a better course to play on.
Eaglewood is in such great condition!! Such an awesome course in a beautiful setting. Best municipal golf course on the Wasatch Front!!
Fun course. The back 9 is downhill for about half and then slightly uphill.
Their firework show is amazing! I come here every year to see it. There is so much other stuff to do here as well before the firework show. They have what's kinda like a fair in the parking lot of their event center!
It is a beautiful course on the east side of the valley. The only negative is that a few of the holes are pretty close to the houses and the course has signs saying that you can't use a driver even though it is well over 350 yards
I’ve played here several times over the years and it is consistently one of my favorites. The course is in awesome shape and just challenging enough to be enjoyable.
Great course with extremely friendly staff!
Was totally amazed how good this course is. Green are good but some are fast. I guess you'll have that, cut into the side of a mountain . Will return and recommend.
Greens rolled different today maybe due to drought. Head pro Tyler A. reached out to see if there was anything he could do next time to make my experience better, we'll be back again due to his communication.
This is my favorite course to play whenever I visit SLC. Great scenery, reasonable prices, and the greens and fairways are well-maintained. Looking forward to coming back and getting in a round of 18.
I am sure the golf course is fantastic, however, I was there for a wedding ceremony and reception.
Picturesque course but you gotta keep it on the fairway. Not much margin for error if your drive is wayward. Once you're on the greens, it's more of the same. Big breaks and fast greens means a few three putts for the average golfer.
This is one of the best courses to play in Salt Lake City. The views are outstanding and the course is kept in phenomenal shape! You wont regret visiting this course!
I always enjoy golfing at Eaglewood. The course is incredible as is the staff.
I especially appreciate the professionalism of Brent Moyes. Brent in wonderful to work with.
Just my experience here was not that great. You really have to be on your game here. Would I play again probably yes, but keep score no. Course In great shape. Amazing views, staff is very friendly.
Beautiful mountain course for various levels of golfers. Small driving range, however. The staff is helpful and friendly and the clubhouse is great for events and a quick bite to eat.
Well maintained, hilly course. Feels like a country club compared to other municipal courses. Whenever I’ve been there the tee times are well spaced and haven’t had waiting or hurried issues.
Such a fun, mountain golf course and in excellent condition. There were no dead spots to be found. Definitely won’t be my last time playing here.
Tough course, great staff and facility. And the course is beautiful with great views of the valley. Day tees weekdays are super easy to get. Give it a try.
Great staff, great location, great views of the valley. Course is always in good shape and setup to be enjoyable for golfers of all skill levels.
The course was in amazing condition and the greens were some of the best I have played on this summer I found the personal to be very friendly.
The course is Beautiful, and the grill is delicious. Always have to have lunch when golfing. The view is amazing and is just a bonus!!
This review is about wedding receptions. It's a nice place with a great view but the worst part is all the extra charges they try to through on to your bill! For example, you have to order a MINIMUM of $1200 of food from THEM and then if you want to bring your own, obviously you pay for it on top of the 1200. They don't have chair covers. And the photo booth is $500. But it is a realistic my cheap place considering if you're gonna rent stuff from other places to host it at your own place.
The course was in amazing shape! Lush and green fairways and rough, smooth greens, and a beautiful place to play!
Great greens and fairways. Great course for a reasonable greens fee.
This review of not for the location as a golf course, but as a location as a reception of event center. We attended a wedding reception here. We found it to be a solidly nice place for a reception with beautiful views, a pleasant hall, helpful and friendly staff, and ok food. The place is not super luxurious but plenty nice enough for most people's events.
Eaglewood is always in great shape the times we have played this year. The pro shop staff was always friendly and welcoming. Can’t wait to get out next spring!
This is a fun course to play. It was in pretty good condition considering the water restrictions.
The staff is always awesome! It's definitely our favorite course in the area. The course is always in great shape.
Love the course but doesn’t give ice out. Crazy to think that after you pay for a drink, you’re not allowed to put just Ice in it. You have to pay for another whole drink.
Love this course. Challenging but not shoot 100 and lose a bunch of golf balls challenging. Always a great time at Eaglewood.
Fun challenging course. Pretty well maintained the entire season. Snack bar is okay, has great hot dogs.
Play here quite often and it’s a beautiful, fun, challenging course. Greens are tough. The hot dogs at George’s grill are one of the best in the state!
Absolutely love this golf course! Always well maintained and the staff is extremely friendly! One of my favorite course in UT to play!
Beautiful course, well-maintained. Many scenic views.
Course was in great condition. First time here and I will definitely be back.
One of the best courses in the area with incredible views for a great price. I highly recommend 18 holes to get the full experience.
This course is super fun and well maintained. The greens are great. I will definitely be returning.
The course is in great shape - such a great place to golf.
Staff is wonderful - thank you for the great golfing experience.
If you love to golf, eaglewood is a great place to play an affordable round. It's challenging enough to keep you coming back, and the employees are all fun and friendly. If you haven't been there before, go check it out!
Really fun golf course. The greens are quick and give a good challenge to read. It is always in good shape whenever I play and the views are awesome.
Love this course it’s always in great shape, it’s a great value and you always get treated well when you are in the pro shop or snack shop. If you are looking for a place to play you will not be disappointed.
One of my favorites! A great course for a great price. They take excellent care of the facility. Highly recommended
We love golfing at Eaglewood! The course is always in great shape, the staff is kind and attentive, and the views, of course, are beyond compare! Thanks Eaglewood!
Great place to go have fun smacking balls
Great staff. Great course. Great views.
I love the hole diagrams on the website. I wish all golf courses would provide detailed hole diagrams.
Very fun course and great people!
Super friendly staff , able to book online , I paid for 4 players but one was sick and they gave me a rain check for use another day ! Great condition and the greens were just cut before 7:10 bravo 👏🏻👏🏻💣🏌🏻♂️⛳️ …
Go to Eaglewood golf course only IF you like beautiful well kept greens, amazing views, and a friendly and welcoming staff. Otherwise go to a different sub par course.
The course was in fantastic condition and had some friendly workers:)
Spectacular views from the driving range. Brent Moyes, the Course Director and Pro gave my son Isaac some tips on his golf swing.
Great course that tests your game on multiple levels! It’s always in great condition and the staff is very helpful. Highly recommend.
This place is great, amazing deals for fun golf. Customer service and grooming is great.
Beautiful views and challenging holes. My son loves coming here. The sunsets are incredible and the facilities are top-notch
Very nice golf course but the beer carts don't have wine. I get its probably a Utah law but it'd be so much cooler if they did.
Great for sledding. Best 4 star sledding in the state.
Edit: great for golfing too. 5 star sledding in park city.
Sunday after 2pm deal is unbeatable. Course looked and played great.
Beautiful course with a great view. Helpful staff, wel kept course, and great putting green. Deer spectators included!
I'm a beginner golfer and came by to hit a bucket of balls. The staff couldn't have been friendlier. Facilities and grass was pristine and the pastrami burger at Carmacks was fantastic.
Was slow playing but plenty of shade and course in good shape.
Really nice course we had a blast playing there.
I love Eaglewood Golf Course. It's has some of the best golf course views in Utah. Beautiful greens and well kept.
Great course and one of the best north of Salt Lake
Always one of my favorite courses. Fantastic valley views. Continues to test my game and sometimes rewards me.
Course is in great shape and staff is super friendly.
Unfortunately I had to cancel because I was sick, however those who did said it was fun but too windy.. I suggest you turn down the wind.
One of my favorite golf courses of all time. Always in great shape and not as crowded as Salt lake courses.
Absolutely beautiful course! Challenging, where placement is more important than distance. My favorite course in Utah by far!
The course was in beautiful shape! Was very happy to see active marshal to keep play moving!
Great place to play. Course is always in great shape. Friendly staff. Plenty of memorable holes
Fun golf course...for a public facility in good shape...beautiful clubhouse under construction
Beautiful course with spectacular views over the Great Salt Lake. Greens run fast and almost always break towards the lake.
