A hidden gem in Foster! Bobby, Amanda, Brian, David, and the entire staff at FCC are a joy to work with for weddings, rehearsal dinners, baby or bridal showers, anniversaries, birthdays, charities/fundraisers, and golf tournaments. Their holiday brunches, bar menu, and even lunch or dinner selections are always executed so nicely. This space overlooks a gorgeous, meticulously groomed golf course tucked away in the quiet corner of north western Rhode Island. Truly a relaxed homey feeling every time you go to this place! Highly recommend! Thank you!

Tucked in the hills of western RI this course is actually quite flat. Great condition and very affordable. One of the best bangs for your buck public courses in RI. Only caveat for me is the lack of real estate on 17/18. Surely better yet than getting robbed at places like Wentworth hills(major real estate shortage on last 4 holes) or New England (glorified cow patch) for 85$++ thoroughly enjoy foster and its in regular rotation early on as we loosen up for Meadowbrook and other long courses our state and mass have to offer.

Played when course was very wet from days of rain but still playable. Front nine pretty open and easier to play. Back nine very challenging especially first time playing BUT really liked it! Liked the hole layouts. Greens were in great shape and in top 4 I played recently. Drinks and lunch good also. I will be back.

Great and challenging course. Always in great shape. Very nice indoor/outdoor restaurant with a great selection. Always plenty of drafts on tap. People couldn’t be nicer. A real gem in the country.

What can we say other than..... Don't waste your time!! Service was poor.. Waitress had too many tables going at the same time and just couldn't keep up. I'll let that go but they had a special with baked cod and a regular menu item of fish and chips with haddock.... So we asked for the haddock to be baked. I know, special order but the waitress checked and yes, it could be done. Guess it couldn't be because my 92 yo father said it was cod. He doesn't like cod so I'm not arguing. Hubby got chicken Parm... He didn't think it was that good - I tried it, it didn't seem like real chicken. Also, I had asked the waitress the question about the fish, then ordered the sea bass. I then stated that I wanted the pot stickers as an appetizer.... Guess what, got the pot stickers as A meal! No sea bass. Waitressing with too many tables never works!!

Solid. The course was in good shape predominately. The gang gai early pre fantasy draft and overall had a good time scrambling about. However, we did have one incident with papa foster. It was settled on a later hole w course mgmt, no harm no foul, simple misunderstanding. Will return again soon!

Recently had my daughters wedding at the Foster Country Club and had a great experience. Amanda Forrest was a great wedding planner and always payed attention to the small details. The place looked great on the wedding day. We were all a little nervous about the weather but Amanda planned everything around it and everything worked out great. The food was excellent. Alan & Kim

Enjoy playing something different? I visit here at least once a season. Their food & bar are excellent -- love to sit & eat heartily here after a round! The course setup plays peculiar and that's OK given the terrain. But for playing fairness in particular but not limited to: holes #6, #15, and #16, the greens can be corrected for their ludicrous slope/drop-offs that don't allow for the ball to come to rest consistent with the shot made. All it needs is a thing called "an apron" and "fringe" maintained appropriately. Framing the green so the ball has a chance to settle or come to rest, fairly, at an edge -- not tumble away helplessly and often into rather choppy green-side areas that are less well maintained.

Where to begin with this review, hands down the best day ever!! Amanda Forrest was awesome!! She made sure everything ran smoothly. That the room looked beautiful.she made me feel so comfortable the entire day always checking on me asking if I needed anything. Amanda was awesome to work with and I would highly recommended having your wedding at foster country club. The staff was also great from the servers to the bar tenders. the grounds are beautiful and so is the place. All my visions that day came to life and everything was great!!! Thank you to Amanda and foster country club staff for the best wedding I could ever ask for and more!!

One of my favorite courses in RI.Very fair course for hackers.The restaurant and bar is great.Good food and drinks.Outdoor patio is perfect for cocktails especially in Sept and Oct. when the foliage is at it’s peak.A little far out from the cities but well worth the drive.Five stars for me.

This is a nice course. I like the lay out and it's cool seeing some of the local wildlife. Don't bother trying to get cell service, which if you ask me is an added bonus. Sometimes the course can get very very wet. But all in all it's a nice place to golf.

Very crowded. Always. All times. Nice course. Better 19th. Greens very hard packed. A few holes are very poorly planned; most are fine as long as you enjoy sever dog legs, always left, several times in a row. Tee boxes and cart paths often interfere with approaches from previous hole and slow play. 5/10 design. 6/10 price. 2/10 pace of play.

I had my wedding reception at Foster CC on Saturday May 19th. Even though it was raining, the pictures we got outside were beautiful, especially in the covered bridge. The hall is so versatile, I was curious how it would look with the lighting, colors, and decor that we chose, but it was just as beautiful as the pictures we looked at before choosing it as our venue. Amanda, the coordinator for the venue, was amazing! She is so organized and set everything up exactly how we wanted! She also helped keep us right on task, even when we had a couple mishaps getting to the venue. Also, the food was SO good! They even paid attention to allergies. We got so many compliments on how great our reception was-the food, the decorations, etc. I have nothing but good things to say about Foster CC and the staff and would definitely recommend them!

Went there for a wedding- the venue itself was nice, very classy. The bathrooms however weren't very clean, the food was way overcooked, and the waitstaff wasn't very friendly. I'm giving 3 stars for the great time spent with my friends

Amanda was our wedding coordinator and was extremely helpful. She was very responsive when we had questions and was able to accommodate the fact that we were across the country from the club. The food was great and service was quick. We highly recommend this as a wedding venue!

Where do I even begin with this review. Foster Country Club was, without a doubt, the best decision I made while planning my wedding. The venue is so sweet and wholesome, which is something I really wanted because my style isn’t very traditional. I was able to decorate the venue how I wanted without worrying about clashing carpeting or over the top decor. The food was hands down the best wedding food I have ever had. My guests are still taking about how delicious the appetizers, drinks, and main courses were. The gazebo and lawn are so perfect and were the perfect backdrop for our nuptials. Now, on to our wedding coordinator, Amanda. I’m getting emotional even writing about Amanda because she made the day perfect. Amanda was a dream to work with from day one. She offered her expertise whenever I needed it, from helping me with the wedding planning to discussing the best options for our budget. Her attention to detail is unreal. She knows everything there is to know about weddings and made me feel so, so comfortable. Amanda kept everything flowing on my wedding day and there was not one hiccup the entire night. She took all of the decor I purchased for the reception and made the room look better than any image on Pinterest! She’s the absolute best and I cannot recommend her enough. She made my wedding day the best day ever. Thank you, Amanda and FCC!

Fun, funky golf course so deep in the country cell phones usually get no reception, although they freely give out the wifi code so you can make wifi calls. If you're a fan of dog-legs you'll love this course. Some of them form a U which can be interesting. The staff is very friendly and the clubhouse is fully stocked with many beer and liquor choices. The kitchen staff whip up many tasty items for lunch and dinner; it is a full restaurant. The pro shop is fully stocked and golf club fittings and custom orders can be done there.

Foster Country Club is a quiet diamond in the rough. Open seasonally and special events, the meals are good and reasonably priced. Different specials every day. The staff is friendly and quick. Full service bar with a fair selection of wines and beers.

Everything is great. My only gripe, the course layout. Multiple double dogleg lefts, a par 4 where the approach is blind, and ends in back to back part 3s. Not conducive to low scores.
