We recently held my daughters wedding reception at Verrado Golf Club. The entire venue was absolutely beautiful. Kathy Baggett is seriously AMAZING and took us from start to finish on helping us plan the entire event with no detail overlooked. She made wedding planning a breeze and took so much stress off of me. I wasn’t sure what to expect when we showed up to the reception, but I was totally blown away! They exceeded all of my expectations and then more! If you are looking for an amazing place to hold a wedding reception or any event for that matter, look no further than Verrado Golf Club with Kathy and her entire team.

WOW what a phenomenal golf course. This golf course has it all. Beautiful course, great staff, amazing tee boxes, fairways, greens, bunkers yes everything a golf course should have. This course is definitely in my top 5 in the Phoenix area and I’ll be playing again here very soon! Truly enjoyed the experience and thanks again for the amazing service! Beautiful course, good pace of play, and a good staff. However, the conditions were disappointing. Tee boxes were uneven and had long grass and the greens seemed frost bitten or something. Bunkers were really lacking sand too, so I just played them like fairways, basically. I'll definitely give it another chance but it was a bit of a let down today.

Attended a work holiday luncheon at Verrado Grill inside the golf club. Very nice atmosphere with incredible views, great service and delicious food. I had the ribeye, which was nicely prepared with mashed potatoes and asparagus..It was a bit on the pricy side, but worth it for a date night, celebration, or if your finances allow.

Really loved this place! First time here. We were seated in the perfect view spot. We saw a roadrunner for rhe first time! And the food along with the service was fantastic! Our server from Louisiana took excellent care of us. We had the chicken blta and the chicken quesadilla. Very, very tasty! Would very highly recommend! We will be back.

This course is something else! What you read and hear about is absolutely spot on! This course is a hidden gem and is definitely something you don't want to pass on if given the opportunity. I've been looking at this course for months on GolfNow debating on if I wanted to take the hour drive to play here and man am I glad I did! From the moment you turn onto main Street to get to the entrance of the property you can feel how great it's going to be. I highly recommend this course to every player advanced or beginner I promise it will not let you down! I might have to just move to the West Valley so I can enjoy this course more frequently! The staff is also top notch! Thanks Verrado Golf Club for an incredible day out on the links!

Very nice golf course surrounded by incredible views!! The White Tanks make for the perfect backdrop and you can see the most amazingly beautiful sunsets if you stay for dinner on the porch! Typically large mule deer herds make appearances at dusk as they venture on to the greens to eat.

Very nice establishment. Everything including the bathrooms are well kept and clean. My parents had their 25th wedding anniversary here and it turned out beautiful. Very elegant and classy place to have dinner or celebrate a millstone in your life.

Such good food!! The single best breakfast burrito and french toast I have ever had. The coffee was good. The service was ok. The view on the patio was beautiful. The hostess visibly rolled her eyes when we changed our minds to sit outside vs inside. I think bc she cleaned a table for us. Still.

What a beautiful golf course! If you're looking to test your golf skills, check out Verrado. Course is in great condition, greens were fast and fairways perfect. Play smart and you'll score well, loose play will get you big rewards, but the risk is bigger! Can't wait to play here again.

Beautiful location, haven't played golf ever but nice to look at. Has a nice restaurant decent food. Great hiking trails in high desert towards White Tank Mountains. If you go ask for directions to Petroglyph Rock, it's a moderate 3 miles (approximately)round trip but amazing relic with some beautiful petroglyphs.

The view is really beautiful with the golf course and the mountains. The staff is fast and efficient. The menu is limited, but that's good, because what they do have is perfected, which delivers some excellent fare. I had a meatloaf sandwich which was just wonderful. The rest of our party was very pleased with their food as well.

Course is in much better shape than it was right after opening. Has filled out nicely. Views on the front nine are incredible. Layout is fun and challenging. Nice complement to the Founder’s Course at Verrado.

The views are great, the fairways unique and wide open. The only thing missing are cups with the water jugs on the course. The bathrooms had running water, a plus! I have been to really nice courses and the restrooms just have hand sanitizer. Blah. I would definately go again.

We were there before 6pm, and they were already out of fish and chips, which is what two of our party wanted. The food we ended up ordering was very good from a taste point, however it was served on heavy stoneware dishes which were not warmed. That caused my wife's pesto chicken pasta dish to be served barely warm, but they apologetically rewarmed it. It was less of an issue for the rest of us who ordered sandwiches, but would have been nice for all the plates to have been warmed before plating the food, since it was a bit chilly in the dining room as well. What a difference a warmed plate can make in the enjoyment of a meal. Can make a good one great!

Play Dorado February 15th 80° and calm. Verrado founders course is my favorite, have played it before. Courses in excellent shape tea to Green. Big golf course driver and the Three wood on several holes. We played Twilight for $70 which is a bargain. Excellent staff with full service restaurant. Thank you to our starter Dwayne who was very helpful.

A little over a year in AZ and this was my first experience here. Beautiful course, challenging and fun. Lots of wild life and some elevation changes. Stayed afterwards for a bite to eat, all 3 of us had something different and the meals and service was phenomenal! This is a must visit for the Phoenix area. Thank you!

Nice dinner place and good food from a limited menu (...easier to make a decision!). The 6 of us had a round table in the more quiet dining room (away from bar and TV screens) and we enjoyed having a good conversation with no need to shout at each other. Everybody was happy and pleased with their dinner choices. Great and personal service too with a fun and lively waitress. Great salmon and chicken piccata dinners, very tender ribeye too. It was Thursday evening and we enjoyed a place not so busy for a change.

Took the whole gang! Me and my husbands 5 kids, our 5 good friends, my brother, and their grandkids. Good food, great menu to choose from, beautiful surroundings and pretty decent prices in comparison to the other popular dining places. Spent equivalent to a Dennys on far superior food in a beautiful place. We ate outdoors and just had a wonderful time.

An excellent golf course from arrival to the 19th hole. Outside employees are courteous and helpful with directions around the facility. The clubhouse attendant was friendly. The course itself was extremely enjoyable. Generous fairways and greens. Lots of slope and contour in the putting surfaces. All of it in excellent shape. The restaurant for after the round had great eats. A wee on the pricey side for a post round burger and brew. But the food was good none the less. A definite recommendation for every level of golfer.

Excellent driving range and course. After your game you can relax on the patio overlooking the course and lake and enjoy a light meal, cool drink and soak up the calming surroundings. There is also an in door restaurant and full bar where the atmosphere is calm and the air conditioning is soothing. Whether is by day or evening the Verrado Golf Club is the place to go.

Played the founders course. One of my favorite courses in the Phoenix area. Elevated tees, great scenery, and not to many houses surrounding the holes. Conditioning is excellent. Tees, fairways and greens were all in superb shape. Staff is friendly, polite and very customer service oriented. A must play!

A big shout out to our wedding reception organizer, Kathy Baggett! With her expertise in planning events, I didn't have to worry about a thing! And to boot, the whole process was done with me being out of state! Since we were already recently married and just needed a reception with family members and friends, Kathy guided us, made suggestions and created an event that will be forever etched in everyone's memories. I literally just had to show up with my guests! The venue was beautiful (Verrado Golf Club), the food and desserts were fantastic, the DJ (Kevin - Fanning Flames) had everyone dancing, and the beverages were delicious! We all thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Kathy! We give you 1000 stars!

Came late for breakfast, decided on lunch instead. I had the three type combo street tacos (they were great). Wife had the fish and chips, and she claims the batter was very flavorful, on the other hand the side order of coleslaw was very disappointing. Too sweet, not enough vinegar. (Seems that sugar is added). Our friend had the chicken bacon tomato sandwich, she said it was great. On the positive side-their French fries are awesome, not oily but nice and crispy. Service was exceptional.

We had our wedding ceremony there. One of the few places I could find that offered ceremony only. Its gorgeous place. They are super accommodating. Audrey is amazing coordinator! Love her so much! She goes above and beyond. You should book for an event here because of herby! My experience was amazing and all staff was very helpful. I learned afterwards that some bar staff and hostess were not very friendly or helpful to my groom or groomsmen only reason I am giving a 4 star.

I haven't had a bad meal and I've tried just about everything on the new menu. The servers and bartenders are fun and the atmosphere is private with a view. Very comfortable whether you sit at the bar, a table or a booth. Friday nights music and wed is prime rib that is so tender you can't not eat every bite!

My favorite golf course in the west valley. Always a challenge and the course is in great shape. Views of the valley from several holes on the back 9 are some of the best in the valley anywhere. 5 different tee boxes and each presents it’s own challenge. Some of the holes have significant elevation changes, especially on the back side. I haven’t played the new course at Victory, just up the road in the 55+ community with Verrado, but it looks amazing too. I’ll play there within the next month and check back with a review of it...I’m sure it will be as good as Founders at Verrado. Wherever you play, make sure to stop in to the clubhouse and have lunch and a beer and take in the views from there as well. Hit em straight!

Played the Victory course. Loved the lack of homes on the course...much more desert golf experience. Saw coyotes and even some tumbleweed rolling across our green! Awesome food at the patio bar!

Played Verrado in February and had the best experience on a golf course (except maybe for the score), its a challenging course, well kept, beautiful desert scenery and views of the valley - you can see all the way to Phoenix. Greens were tournament speed and smooth. Fairways were plushed and manicured. Water and ice available: do not underestimate playing 4.5 hrs in the desert. Definitely coming back to play in the wintertime. The staff and the facilities were great, including the driving range.

Food and drinks were very good. Bar and wait staff were very friendly. Nice views of the lake and golf course. I would've given them 5 stars but I did not appreciate the comment from (what seemed to be the manager) who stated they "could lose their liquor license" if I don't wear a mask, DESPITE the fact that I told her I have medical condition which puts me at higher risk for hypoxic events. I think the staff needs to be trained on the terms of the county and city proclamations and ADA. And be more concerned about the welfare of guests vs their liquor license. They also place a gallon pump bottle of toxic hand sanitizer inside front door which is fine for those who like to use that voluntarily. But they shouldn't be asking every guest to go to the pump station to sanitize when they arrive. That is not a mandate, nor a federal law. I refused the sanitizer (rightfully) but threw a chiffon scarf over my face just to enter because I was hungry and restaurant choices were limited in that area that evening. Would consider returning if they start accommodating guests with medical conditions or just wait until the city mask mandate ends.

Really beautiful, really challenging. I played the founders course. The back side was my favorite. I guess you can call it target golf, as you really need control of your game here. A great short game helps too, as getting up and down can be quite a chore. Play one set of tees shorter than normal for the first round or two. You'll have a better time.

Played the Founders course combo tees. Great track. Everything was in great shape .. tee to green. Great layout, challenging but fair, staff was friendly, practice area comprehensive. One mickey mouse par 4, but other than that nothing even remotely negative. Definitely play again! With all the high$$ courses this time of year in the Phoenix area, at less than $100 (golf now) this was worth the $$ and the moderate drive from the city.

Great golf course tucked up on the mountainside. This course has been my only venture to the far west end of Phoenix and it was well worth the trip. The course was fair, but challenging. You get great views from the tee boxes and you have to keep the ball in the fairways here! Desert lurks left and right of every tee shot. I'm a Midwesterner that learned how important a "desert club" is on this course.

We made reservations for 6:30 and arrived at 6:05. We were not seated until after 7 even though there were several promises that our table was being worked on. We waited for 20 minutes for drinks at an outside table and 3 were not made correctly. They made things right by comingmping or drinks and our appetizers. The food was great. We had 10 people and 8 different meals and they were all good. We will try them again.

A wonderful encore to the original course. Excellent condition, unique holes (some of them make you think your playing on the moon) and #18 is a beautiful finishing hole that has the classic risk/reward enticements. How much of that lake can I clear? The good news, a fade will come in handy. Get too greedy, you're wet. Until the clubhouse gets built, go back down to the original for tasty eats and drinks. The Victory course is a must play.

Beautiful 18 hole golf course nestled by the White Tank Mountains in Buckeye, AZ. The course is challenging and well maintained. The course features breathtaking views of the Sonoran Desert and mountain landscapes. The Verrado Golf Club has a quaint golf pro shop and an elegant restaurant where one can sit on the outside patio to enjoy a nice meal while enjoying such beautiful views.

Played 28th May 2016, and it was very good. Fee was very cheap (30-ish bucks at dusk rate) and cannot blame it. Scenery was magnificently wild and beautiful. Layout itself is quite wide open & long ahead which will be good fit for bomber guy (long hitter). Also many up & down there. Green condition was also well maintained and speed was very fast. Clubhouse is also gorgeous and very nice to chill out at the patio when you holed out.

Verrado's Founder Golf Course is one of my absolute favorite courses in all of Phoenix. The course is incredibly challenging and the desert landscape is breathtaking. If you're in town to golf you won't want to miss playing here.

We played this course on 10/5/11. We had one of the best golf outing ever. We played expensive courses around the States and this ranked right up there. The course was beautiful and condition was great for this time of the year (no brown dirt patches like other courses). The majority of the holes have excellent scenery. On par 5's, you can gun for it if you feel brave. We love that you can pull out the 3 wood even after a good driver. The course plays very fair. Service was excellent at the golf shop, starter, and restaurant. Definitely pay the extra $15 to get the "member for a day" package. You get to replay for $15 cart fee, up to $14 credit for lunch at their grill, and a snack + 1 non-alcoholic drink on the course. The grill is beautiful and the food was delicious. I will bring my family there just for lunch. We loved it so much this is now our home course for AZ. Between Las Sendas, Golf Club of Estrella, We Ko Pa and Verrado, we put Verrado as #1.

This course is hands down the best keep public course I've played in Arizona. I bought this online and forgot to check the driving distance from Mesa to Buckeye. I'm super impressed on how the greens were, they were so ture even in the rain. The sand traps were great also, they had sand in them and no pooling from the rain. This course must have spent millions on drainage I've been telling my buddies if your staying west of Phoenix, it's a must play. I will be back 100%

A bit pricey for the course, but a good trac to play. Should have some better training for Marshalls. On various ocassions was advised that the group in front of us was told to pick up the pace and that we should in turn folow closely behind, "Really, I would not have known" . There was no need for the communication, especially three times. Round was completed in 4 hours 20 minutes.
