Olde Homestead is an absolutely incredible spot for a wedding. The ceremony spot overlooking the water is gorgeous and reminded me of Ireland! For food, we chose the Gypsy Social package for dinner, because we love snacks and appetizers and it was the best! The food was delicious, it was impossible to pick a favorite. Jill kept things moving the day of the event and made sure that my husband and I had food all night. We got many, many comments from our guests about how great the food was and how unique the whole night was. We ended the night with fireworks, which was incredible. I could not have asked for a better venue.

I would give the Olde Homestead 11/10 stars if I could! Not only is the venue naturally absolutely stunning, but the staff goes out of their way to make sure everything on your big day goes according to plan and they really know how to make the bride and groom and their guests feel special. Wedding planning can be extremely stressful but Jill, Leah, and the Olde Homestead team took all the stress out of the process so that we were able to enjoy every single step along the way. From making sure the menu was exactly what we wanted, to designing florals that were more perfect than we ever could have imagined, we always felt like they genuinely cared about us and wanted to make sure our day was perfect. The food was incredible, hands down the best we’ve ever had at a wedding! Being the bride and groom you might think we are just biased, but we heard from every single guest how amazing the food was and how no other wedding venue can compare. Not only did the food taste great, but the dinner service was exceptionally well done. We did a buffet for 120 guests and no one could believe how quickly all guests had their food. Food was served faster than any sit down dinner or buffet event we have ever been to. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate for our outdoor ceremony, but Jill and they rest of the team did not let that put a damper on our day. She drove us around outside in the rain, wind, and cold to make sure we got property photos because she knew how much it meant to us to have them. She was willing to stand outside in the pouring rain for our ceremony if that was what we wanted. When we made the last minute decision to move things inside, she turned the room around in a matter of minutes and set up a gorgeous ceremony space. None of our guests ever knew there was a last minute change and everyone was amazed at how gorgeous, cozy, and intimate the ceremony was. During our photos we told Jill how excited we were for one specific dish during cocktail hour. When cocktail hour came around jill found us and brought us a personal plate of all of the appetizers and an entire tray of the beef tenderloin bruschetta that we had mentioned being excited for. We could clearly tell Jill was listening to everything we said and personally made sure to do her best to give us whatever we wanted to make sure we enjoyed our entire day. I can’t say enough great things about the Olde Homestead venue and staff, and would highly recommend them to any bride and groom looking for amazing food, a beautiful location, and expert staff for an extremely fair price. If we had to plan our wedding all over again, we honestly would not change a single thing!

My daughter was recently married at Olde Homestead Golf Club. From the flowers to the food and everything in between it was absolutely perfect. I cannot say enough nice things about the wedding planner, Jill. She told us at the initial meeting that her job was to make sure that the event was run flawlessly and if there was a problem the bride and groom would never know. She didn't go back on her word. A decision about the ceremony being inside or outside had to be made by 3 p.m. When the radar looked good for the ceremony time they began to decorate outside. However, Mother Nature had a different plan. When the skies opened up 10 minutes before the ceremony was to begin Jill and her staff quickly shifted gears to create a beautiful indoor ceremony space. There was some initial concern about lines forming at the buffet. Jill assured us that it would be no different than a sit-down dinner in that the guests would not be waiting on a long line to prepare their dish. She was 100% correct. I've never been to an event with a buffet that was executed so effortlessly. No one waited more than a minute or two to get through the line. Their system was amazing. And the food was delicious. Leah did an amazing job with the flowers. From the bouquets to the table arrangements everything was beautiful. She listened to what the bride and groom envisioned and connected it with her artistic abilities to create arrangements that were beyond beautiful. She even created miniature boutonnieres for the ring bearers. It's a 10/10 from me.

Olde Homestead is a beautiful, rustic venue that was a perfect fit for our families that came from farming backgrounds while also having a modern flair with beautiful lighting, lounge space, patio and bridal room. The food is also outstanding – from the appetizers to the main meal, everything was hot and delicious. Our friends and family raved about how beautiful the venue was and also how it was arguably the best wedding food they’d ever eaten. Leading up to the wedding, we appreciated the prompt responses and impressive organization from our event planner, but sometimes felt that she was underwhelmed or slightly judgmental by the decisions we were making which was frustrating, but we acknowledged that everyone has different tastes so we didn’t say anything. On the day of our wedding, we felt that our event planner was slightly underdressed wearing a jean jacket to our wedding and we also didn’t appreciate her lack of flexibility throughout our event. We acknowledge that a timeline is important for the ceremony to start on time and to make sure that people are served food at an appropriate hour, but we also knew there was built in cushion time so we didn’t appreciate that we felt rushed at different periods and that she overrode one of the decisions we made during our event (whether we should go take photos with each dinner table or to have BM/MOH speeches first – so really nothing that would impact the staff so should have been our decision). Unfortunately, we also felt that some of our vendors were intimidated by her abrasive nature and not comfortable asking her questions since they were coming to us with questions that we know they’d normally go to an event manager with since we’ve interacted with them at events previously. Disappointingly at the end of the night, as things were getting cleaned up, I noticed that they were handling the centerpieces over in the corner of the barn, when I went to investigate, I found out that they had thrown out all of the flowers from my centerpieces – I was too tired at that point to say anything, but my mom had all intentions of taking them home, so it was quite disappointing to see such beautiful flowers going straight in the trash without someone even asking what we wanted done with them.

Beautiful views! Course signage very weak. It has GPS on the carts but the tee boxes should be marked with at least a Hole # and yardage per color of tee. The deck was nice and the food was an extra delicious. We ordered four different sandwiches and we all were 100% satisfied!

Fantastic golf course. I played this course a lot about ten years ago when I was in college, but haven't play it since then. It is just as nice now as it was back then (maybe even better now). The course set up is very fun, challenging, and will force you to think about different shot options. Some holes are wide open, while others require a maximum precision to avoid water or out of bounds areas. Each hole could be a birdie opportunity or a high number. The entire course was well-maintained from tee boxes to the greens. I would recommend to anyone in the Lehigh Valley area.

What a beautiful place to have a wedding we had some fun on Sunday for the KUNKLE -Drumheller wedding, the staff ,food excellent is all I can say.. I am so glad I got to witness their day and to see how it operated. I can't wait till April 2023 for our daughters weddings here as well.

Some golf courses are high end luxurious while others are straight forward cookie cutter and somewhat routine. Olde Homestead is drop dead magical. It is located on a once successful farm homestead which has been in the family for over 200 years, then transformed into a golf course and event setting. The course can be categorized as a mountain course with lots of magnificent distant views. I found myself stopping on too many occasions to take in the beauty. Yup, you can blame me for the slow play. The course is in impeccable condition and carts include screen monitors. Steve our starter was, funny, respectful and provided tips on how to play certain holes. They do run a tight ship here and be prepared for forward and direct Pennsylvania hospitality. Our golf fees included a warmup bucket of balls and a hamburger with chips for lunch. There is a certain affection which draws us to golf. Olde Homestead makes the experience memorable.

The course is in great shape even with all the rain. The day I played it was cart path only but it was still an enjoyable round. During the week you even get lunch. It gets a little hectic around lunch time but the staff gets it done. A big outdoor deck is available for eating your meal.

A beautiful modern golf course in an older world setting. Well maintained course winding through farmland is open and spacious while still being a challenge. The course will not disappoint. The clubhouse and pro shop are immaculate, well stocked and staffed. I had a wonderful day and did not want to leave.

Beautiful scenery, well designed layout. GPS Feature in golf cart showing where golfers in front of you very helpful as some hole are fun dog leg with blind spots. Once construction is complete on some buildings it will be 5 stars! Great place to spend time!

We played on a Sunday after the greens had been punched earlier in the week. Process used left big holes and a very jumpy surface. A 5 dollar discount was offered but it did not make up for the condition of the greens. The course itself is a gem. Many red stake hazards on the front nine and you need to play it a couple times to know how to negotiate the course.

Layout: Challenging and Unique with trees, sand and elevation changes. Never a boring hole. 9/10 Greens: fast and mostly consistent. 7/10 Nice feature: you get a free bucket of balls to hit at the warm up range just off of the first tee! This feature alone makes it one of my favorite courses as I'm never unprepared to step on the first tee box. The staff is great and it is an upscale professional feel every time I'm there. It has 5 sets of tees to accommodate all levels and I think anyone can play here. It does get busy so if you expect to take a little longer find a slower time. Pace of play can get a little behind but they do a good job trying to keep it moving. It's worth the price. One of the nicer public courses you'll find in eastern PA. I'd recommend it to anyone. If I had to offer one criticism, um, yeah I don't have one. I always enjoy playing here.

I would give the barn and the look of the place 5 stars but the staff made it 3. Was there for a wedding May 21st, and the bartenders were rude and not very friendly, I understand it was a hot day and the attire that they had to wear wasn’t the best for heat but they are at work and shouldnt have been nasty. Other staff as well weren’t the best. Guests were in love with the place but not the staff. Get air conditioners in the barn.

We really enjoyed the layout and condition of the course. The starter on Thursday morning, 10/8, was cordial and fun to converse with to begin our round. They have a Monday through Thursday lunch inclusion for seniors, which we also enjoyed.

Golf course was in great shape, fun to play. After golf we enjoyed a meal on the outside deck. Covid precautions were being followed. Food was very good and the service fast and courteous. Will definitely be back.

Course is in nice shape,but the weeds on 4th and 10th holes were blocking the pins/flags. I couldnt even laser shoot them let alone see where the pins were.Also the GPS which you would think would make it easier is nothing but ads,needless warnings.I think we touched that thing 100xs during the round to keep it from beeping not using it. At $71 a little steep.

Very scenic golf course. The holes were challenging. Love the on cart GPS system. I have not golfed here for probably 20 years. Will not wait that long to return in the future. Great job with the course and the staff.

nice course but not a course for golfers with handicap difficulty's.. the carts shut down way to far from greens. they don't issue handicap flags. very hilly. They don't don't care for handicap players. Will not be going back there.

Picturesque Golf Course built on an old Farm. Very challenging holes in a beautiful layout. Staff inside and out is outstanding. Although I mainly go there to play golf the inside restaurant seems to have a nice menu and I have enjoyed some good lunch entrees. Usually rotate some micro Brews on tap and a nice can selection for the course.

While we didn't have our reception at the golf course venue, we did hire them to cater our reception elsewhere. From the initial overlook of the menu to the tasting, planning to our actual event - Olde Homestead's catering staff was great! They were super flexible when it came to guests with dietary restrictions and the menu itself. Our guests not only complimented us about the staff and how nice and attentive they were, but that the food was delicious. My aunt told us that she's been to so many weddings and this was the best food she's ever had at one! Whether you're going to the venue itself or hiring for catering, I would highly recommend Olde Homestead!

From the moment I called and spoke with Preston, who accommodated my request to play same day as a single golfer looking to pair-up, to my check-in at the pro shop, to the starter and OF COURSE THE COURSE. The layout is intriguing using All clubs. Wait til you see the par 3 4th....wow, it looks like a 1/4 mile down hill to a sliver of a green. The entire view of the course from many spots is "spiritual". Wait staff was a 10 and at 5 that night they had music on the deck, he was just great. If you golf or just want to hang, get out to old homestead......ill be back and bringing friends.

Awesome Golf Course. Just far enough from Allentown to feel like the middle of nowhere, but still not too bad of a drive. Everyone is very friendly, the course is well kept and well spaced. The carts are in great shape and include GPS and USB ports for charging. They closely adhere to guidelines during Covid19 and make me feel comfortable playing there, something that can't be said for all area courses. I do wish they had course marshalls out more frequently, as I've had issues with pace of play. They also now offer an app for ordering food, which makes getting fresh food and drink at the turn incredibly convenient.

Top notch golf course facility for the area. Friendly, accommodating staff with a great golf course that is challenging with great views, conditions and the best GPS system you can ask for in a golf cart. This track has a little bit of everything with woods, hills, open holes, and water and can be challenging with the wind up but definitely give it a play!

A beginner golfer here. Beautiful course. Golfed here on my 3rd ever outing. It WAS a bot difficult for me, but dont know what more seasoned golfers would think. When you check in, you get a voucher for a bottle of water and a bucket of warm up balls for on the driving range. Definitely recommend.

Great course. This is a local favorite. They have an 18 hole championship course and par 3/practice range. Both are exceptional. The 18 hole course is challenging but fun. You will find elevation changes and some decisions to make off the tee. Great course for the price. There are gps's in the golf carts and the course is well maintained. #5 is flooded sometimes, but I'm sure management can't control it with the marsh and wetlands. #10 and 11 are my favorite and fun holes to play around the large pond at the golf club. For the prices in regular season, it is well worth it. The par three and practice facility is a fun option as well. The range gets busy sometimes and the turf has many divots that don't get repaired, but it is ideal for practice still. The par 3 is a fun challenge. The only negatives i have with OHGC, is the par 3 allows foot golf. I understand it is a way to make more money on the course, but it becomes frustrating when playing the par 3. Long waits happen on the tees and footgolfers do not care about walking across the greens with soccer spikes. When this happens, good luck trying to make a birdie putt.

Went here to a birthday party. I had a good time. Room was small but easily held 40 people. Food was delicious. It was clean and service was good. Great views from front windows. I would consider having a party here.

This is my favorite course in the A-B-E area and has a practice facility, a 9 hole executive course and the full track; all of which are well maintained with great prices. A high end facility with screens in each cart showing GPS distances/overview of the hole; grass practice range and multiple putting greens, chipping and sand trap practice green. The main track is well designed with a links-ish style, epic elevation changes throughout, generous fairways with minimal tree trouble, and amazing water features that affect play on a whopping 10 holes. The starting hole is genius and allows the player to grip it and rip it with a helpful slope to the right of the fairway to catch any major slice-a-roni; perfect if you didn't have time to hit the range before play. Decently sized fairways are complemented by water taking away one side of some tee shots, and a good amount of streams block greens to force layups/good course management. Tree trouble is rarely an issue however you enter the woods around hole 4 and on #5 you can run into overhanging trees if your tee shot goes right. The par 4 7th has trees on both sides of the tee shot and the green is cut off by a stream, but after this the course opens back up. Be smart on tee shots because either water, trees, or fairway bunkers come into play and even all three are in play on certain tees. Approach shots are tricky and have to clear streams that protect many greens. Stopping power is required on these approaches or you will roll into bunkers at the back of the greens. Overall the course is fair for all handicaps and one of the highest fun factor courses I have ever played.

Played on Saturday September 15. The pace of play was very slow. (over 5 hours) The course management tried to move them along and finally asked them to skip a hole. They then gave us vouchers for a free round to make up for the slow pace. They handled it very professionally. I saw a member of that foursome posted a poor rating. There is no excuse for slow play
