I live outside of Omaha but we stumbled on Tara Hills this year. Lucky us. This course is in excellent shape and the greens are very well kept and are very challenging. Tara Hills is always fully staffed in the clubhouse, which says something about their leadership. I believe I have golfed this course 3x this year and I am very glad I found it. I have always enjoyed my experience there. I think you will too.

I play this course quite frequently and it’s been a fun public course. My only concern are that golfers don’t take care of the green and course divots. I enjoy playing here and will continue to!

Course was in great shape and the greens rolled well. Not an overly long course and some holes you're better served laying up and playing for position on your second shot because many of the greens are challenging. Nice clubhouse with a decent amount of golf apparel, golf balls and shoes to choose from. Staff was friendly and service was good. Well worth a trip at a reasonable price.

The course is challenging, without being excessively difficult. There is no driving range, so show up "loosened up". I have a slice and I was able to find my balls along the right edge on almost every hole. There are some fun holes over water.

Golfed Tara on 8/25. The weather seems to have affected many courses this year so I was surprised at how nice the tee boxes, fairways and greens were at Tara. Always a popular course the course superintendent has done a wonderful job. Keep him/ her.

Tara is a fun course to play. It's fairly easy, but does have it's more difficult holes which keeps it interesting, especially if you play from the tips. They have a friendly staff and the course is well maintained for a public course.

Was able to book through Golf Now. It is not a very long course. Helps a shorter driver like myself feel a little bit better... the "small hands effect", one might say. It has a good mix of change in elevation along with great dog legs in either direction. It rewards the individual that is willing to cut the corner. . I only played 9 but I wish I would have played 18. The staff was awesome.

I'm not sure if it is always like this or not but when I played every green had TONS of ball marks. I would fix 2 or 3 just so I could putt straight. Also lot of trash on the course such as water bottles and candy/food wrappers. It could have been like this because of a tournament being played that morning. That being said I would like to play this course again I just hope next time it is in a little bit better shape.

Considering it's winter still I felt the course was in good condition. The greens were fantastic. My putts moved just the way they were supposed to.

One of the locals favorites. Relatively short, play tips if you're any good. Can get backed up on weekends. Fun holes. In 25 years, I've never seen this place in bad shape.

Tim at the pro shop has the latest gear & good buy sale rack worth browsing, the Superintendent has got the greens in tip-top shape. The concession stand has a lot of drinks to offer. You'll enjoy the day and the challenge!

This course is always maintained well, however I played on a Sunday late afternoon, and the greens were pretty beat up from all the Sunday traffic. Come on people, fix your ball marks! This is your course too!

The ONLY thing that I have to say that is below par about this place is that the last few times I have been there is that it rained (pretty hard), or was uber windy, or hail fell upon us. But I was able to get a rain check for two of those three outings - I guess it was my fault for wanting to chance to wind. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

We have our league at this course. The staff is very friendly. We love the big patio for gathering after league. One of the toughest finishing holes in Omaha.

Really nice golf course, staff in beginning and during our break were friendly. Food is just a tad bit expensive, but other than that it was a great experience.

It's really nice and quiet unlike dirty polluted streets where people live. Its filled with monarch butterflies and the place is very clean no litter anywhere !!!
