Basking ridge tavern is a small restaurant right behind the golf club. Quantity of food was good. There is definitely a long wait even on a non busy day. Staff was very cooperative. Ample of parking is available in the front. They also have hall for wedding as well beautiful outdoors for party or small event. Overall it was a good experience.

We had our baby shower/gender reveal last Nov. We had the brunch buffet at Pennbrook ballroom. Our guests are raving of the place and food. They asked me how did I find this place lol I said I just googled it 😆 The process has been smooth from reservation to the day of the event. I really appreciate Jessica for answering all my questions. And helping me decide on some details as I’m very indecisive cause it’s my first time hosting an event here in America. I highly recommend this place!!! 10000 stars for the venue, food, and most of all, the staff.

I attended a wedding and reception here. Servers were so nice and the food was amazing at both the cocktail hour and the dinner. I would definitely recommend this venue and if I were to get married again, this club would be at the top of my list. Well done!

When the weather is good outside dining is the best. Great views. The Sicilian Chicken Skillet was great and the dipping sauce for the Pretzel appetizer was exceptional. The Chicken Sandwich was also very appealing

We had our October wedding here and it was surreal!! We loved Jessica who helped us every step of the way and answered all 1000 of my questions. We also loved this venue because we did not have to lift a finger. They took care of everything - food, bar, basic decorations, rehearsal, and everything in between. We could not have asked for a better experience. Also special thanks to Stephanie for offering me her sweater between the ceremony and pictures!

Attended a friends wedding and my! holy molly! It's so freaking hot! we could've enjoyed the scenery and landscape of the place but the wedding ceremony was cut short. Indeed the shortest wedding vows I've ever attended. Good thing, there's air conditioned pop up tent.

I had my baby shower here in September and overall it was a great experience considering Covid. Stephanie was amazing when planning the event through email/ phone. She was understanding and helpful! The event was very nice and the food was good, but the day of wasn’t exactly what I thought it would be. I wasn’t aware that Stephanie wouldn’t be there and no one stepped up to tell me they were in charge or who to go to with questions. I wish I knew this ahead of time. I called the office and left a message in the morning wondering who was there to help me, but never received a call back. The tent had items leftover from the wedding the night before which I would have preferred not to have, but it is what it is. No one came to ask us if we wanted more drinks, when to do the cake, or which tables to get up for the brunch. Like I said, I mostly ran the show because there did not appear to be anyone in charge. I’m happy I had my shower there. I enjoyed myself and did not let this matter get to me, but I figured giving an honest review might help the next person be a little more aware of what will occur the day of the event. Ask questions as to who will be there the morning or etc. so you do not feel overwhelmed and alone like I did!

This place was hopping busy! A little short staffed, but they were very accommodating! Tuna poke was a perfect healthy snack after a round of golf. So happy to see a packed bar, happy faces, and still a wonderful view of course. Worth a repeat visit!

Went to a bridal shower on a cold rainy Saturday in late May. The bridal shower was in the tent.... well it was beautifully decorated etc but they had no portable heaters to keep the guests warm. So many guests in dresses with sandals (it was late May) and we were all freezing. The facility should have a few portable heaters for odd weather days like this!!

Great times always here - an amazing outdoor bar area just adds to that summer evening fun with friends. With great food, views and service we always come back. Had so much fun hanging drinking, eating and talking. The bartenders are always really attentive.

I was there for a charity event held in their tent facility. The AC was not working well at all. On a good note the staff is responsive and worked to accommodate all guests requests. My rating is reflective of the conditions not the staff.

I had my wedding here, and everything was absolutely perfect! Stephanie, the wedding coordinator, was organized and responsive. Walter, the new chef, was very flexible with allergen-free meals, and we could tell he really loves his craft. His braised short rib blew us away at our tasting, and 2 months later our guests are still talking about it and the mashed potato bar. The venue decor was nice and fancy without being over the top, and the service was stellar and made us feel taken care of and special.

Wow. Where do I begin?! We had the most perfect, dreamy, marvelous wedding at the Basking Ridge Country Club - all thanks to the incredible BRCC team! From the very beginning, Stephanie went above and beyond to help coordinate, plan, and organize the wedding day with me. She was so responsive and replied to crazy amounts of emails from me trying to plan the details. On the day-of, everything went incredibly smoothly thanks to her impeccable guidance, positivity, and organization. All the other team members we worked with, from the maitre d' to the barstaff and waiters, were all incredibly friendly and efficient - constantly making sure guests were happy with a drink (or food) in hand. Despite COVID-19, the BRCC helped us celebrate a beautiful and safe wedding ceremony and reception. They went above and beyond to make the day special despite COVID-19 restrictions (i.e. serving plates of appetizers to each table instead of passing them around, offering a post-dessert "food-truck-esque" food item to take to-go, and so much more). On top of the incredible customer service and experience, the BRCC is gorgeous venue. We had a perfect fall day, and the areas around the BRCC were stunning for our wedding photos. While it is a golf course, there are plenty of areas to take photos without the golf course in the photos. The tent where we had the reception was beautiful and spacious, too. We are beyond thankful for the BRCC and their amazing team!!! Endless thanks for helping us have the most beautiful wedding of our dreams.

" Delicious Heights " at the B.R. Country Club (during the Spring, Summer & Fall) is a nice little place to bring a date for lunch ( or cocktails & apps) You have to sit outside and take in the beautiful view of the golf course ... nice vibe... been here many times... eating inside, you don't get that same feeling

We had a fantastic time! The food was delicious and the frozen cocktail was perfect to offset the balmy weather. Lovely outdoor seating too. My only complaint is the wheelchair accessibility. There was only one accessway ramp from the handicap lot up over the curb and onto the sidewalk. It was first of all, the only accessway ramp and a little distance from where we parked the car; so I had to push my father through the thru-traffic area of the parking lot. Second, the asphalt was so broken up and rutted, it was impossible for me to get him onto the sidewalk. I tried a number of times and, on my last attempt, nearly toppled him out of the chair. I pushed him back again through the traffic thru-way closer to the restaurant entrance. With my mother's help, who needs to use a cane by the way, we got my father out of the chair. Then he had to step up over the curb onto the sidewalk while I lifted the empty chair onto the sidewalk too. All the while, both of my disabled parents are wobbling and afraid of falling. For such a nice place, the wheelchair accessibility is very inadequate and what is available is poorly maintained. BRCC needs to do better.

In the past six months, I've had two events at BRCC. In April, our school hosted their prom there and it was amazing. We had some issues on our end that required last minute tweaking on their end, and the team at BRCC worked seamlessly to accommodate us. Two weeks ago, my family hosted a baby shower in my honor, and it went off without a hitch. The room was great, the food was amazing for brunch and everyone had a great time. Cannot recommend them enough!

First time playing the course and I have to say I was very impressed. Conditions were beautiful and course was very challenging. I felt like I was on the PGA Tour. After our round we ate at the outdoor bar area. Service was great and the food was very good. I very much appreciated the invite and hope to play there again next season. I would highly recommend a membership to those in the area.

I recently had the opportunity to play at Basking Ridge Country Club and was quite impressed. The course was scenic and in immaculate condition with lush fairways and meticulously groomed greens. The 18 holes were challenging yet fair, and was enjoyed by golfers of all levels in our foursome. The staff was friendly and eager to assist us, adding to the overall experience. With the restaurant, DH Outpost onsite, we were able to enjoy drinks and food following our round. The pool had been closed for the season, but the whole facility seemed very family friendly. I highly recommend Basking Ridge Country Club.

What a great club! The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. The golf course was in phenomenal shape for the beginning of April, and was tough but fair to play. I was forced to use every club in the bag, shape shots both ways, and the greens rolled fast and true. My kind of course!

One of the best, most accommodating, and friendliest country clubs I've played. My buddies and me won the foursome at a golf event, so we are not members. From the moment we arrived at the club to the minute we left, the staff - pro shop, starters and rangers - all went out of their way to make us feel like members. I can't tell you how many times during the round the range stopped to ask if everything was good and if we were enjoying the round and the course. Highly recommend playing Basking Ridge if you get the chance.

I had a chance to play at BRCC on July 4th with my son. The course is immaculate. It's as if you're standing on carpet when in fact, you're on the fairway. The greens played well and not slow. I've only played this course one other time and still can't get over how well it's maintained. I highly recommend a membership to this course to any individuals, families or corporations. It's awesome!!!
