Nice course and in decent condition for March, but it was a little pricey for the time of year. It could easily be one of the nicest public courses on LI with the layout, but looks like it needs a boost of TLC to get it to that point. Lots of divots in the fairway and on the tee boxes. The sand traps were rocky. Will be trying the course again this summer.

One of the best courses on Long Island. I enjoyed the challenge of this course. Lots of water to make you think about the next shot. Traps were great and the fairways and green were like velvet.

We had our wedding here and everything was absolutely amazing. The staff were really helpful before, during and after the wedding. Very responsive and willing to make our day perfect. The food was amazing and we had so many options to choose from. Our maitre d and bridal attendant made sure we had time to eat and enjoy our wedding. 100% would recommend this place !!

Very scenic course with interesting holes. Greens were recently aerated so weren't 100%. Had a lot a good iron shots off the fairways.

Attended a family engagement party here and it was beautiful. There is a LOT of room and the presentation was beautiful. Food was delicious thank even though I could only eat the protein and veggies due to my current dietary restrictions. They even had an ice cream bar on top of the brunch selections. They do a really nice spread. Service was friendly, everything was nice.

Nice looking course for a public course. Pretty well maintained, with a driving range and practice putting green. They have a couple holes where, if you have an issue with a slice, you're in danger of hitting someone's house. A ton of bunkers and a couple of holes with water. Pretty fun course.

Course was very nice and in great shape, no issues there at all. Only issue that our entire group of 4-foursomes had was with the “ranger.” Never got his name but he was the most disrespectful person I have met in a long time. Yes, we get trying to keep the pace going as fast as possible, but talk about being unprofessional. He told one of our groups of 4 that if he hit the ball off the tee that he is going to jail and he better pick the ball up and get in the cart and move. The ranger kept reiterating that he would go to jail if he didn’t move faster. Then when the group was in the middle of the fairway he approached them again, delaying the game even more (kind of ironic right?) and was antogonizing them for a fight saying that he isn’t afraid to fight and he was on the Olympic wrestling team and if they wanted to fight him that he doesn’t care about MMA and Jiu Jitsu, that “there will be body parts everywhere in the parking lot.” I wish I could say this was a made up story but I can’t. None of the group of 16 that we had will be going back to the course due to that one person which is a shame because it was a beautiful course to play at and all 16 of us were out to have an enjoyable morning that left us all baffled that an employee of this establishment would speak to paying customers, let alone another person how he did.

It's a beautiful course and I love playing there but there "new updated " carts are terrible. They have them programmed so tightly that they will beep and stop working in certain parts of the cart path as if you were in a no cart area. it becomes a real issue through out the round and the fact you can't bring them in the parking lot anymore is just annoying. For their prices they should be catering to us, not making it harder for us

Probably my favorite course in Suffolk. Distance control and laying up is needed for this course. You can't just drive, approach and putt every hole.

This is a tough course if your drives are around 250-280y. A lot of sand and water traps. I love the layout, nature and staff. I got a low battery cart so we had to push it to 18th hole. That was only bad experience that we met. Will come back if we can find another good deal. It will be fair if I can give 4.5*

I enjoy this course a lot. I wish people or the staff would tend to the course better. Seems like repairing ball marks is not a thing here. High quality design and layout, bunker placement that forces accuracy, and some challenging greens. The issue is the pot marks. The saying repair your mark and one other would leave you fixing 3-5 marks each green. It's unfortunate because the course deserves 5 stars. The staff is pretty good aside from taking phone calls while you are trying to pay and making you wait 10 minutes rather than saying "I am with someone, please hold". For the price the greens should not be in this condition. Definitely worth at least one visit.

Love this course. Good balance of easy and challenging holes. Love the 16th signature, has a stone bridge makes you feel like you're in Scotland/Ireland. Staff is great, gentlemen at the start, Pat and Nick were friendly and helpful. Starter, Bill, was also friendly. Pace of play was a solid 3 hrs. 55 mins. Terrific for a weekend. Will be back.

Sunday 11/8/20 I played Willow Creek at 8am this weekends weather was insane like a summer morning I received an email Tuesday that the course may be rough bc of the rains and excessive usage from covid so i was expecting the worst. We arrived got checked in hit the range then the putting green by 1st tee box had some practice unfortunately that wasn’t useful the practice putting green has zero relation to the greens on the actual course practice green was slow to mid speed. Real greens very true but fast when i mean fast im saying fast i’ve played almost everything available to the public from Black to Harbor links to Rockhill but Willow this weekend had greens like a pga event also the Breaks and Undulations on the greens are quality. The fairways were ok you could see that they have taken a beating which is expected but the grounds crew have been working there tail off to get them back to normal also the tee boxes are shoot to death bc of the excessive use during covid. So over all will was a great experience pace was great green were money staff great definitely another one i want to golf again this year before the freeze. PS The 5 stars is bc the greens were great only had to fix my own divots fairways decent 80% and the bunkers are manicured racked weeded and actually bunkers soft sandy pre covid type bunkers was very nice so they get a 5 for the amont of effort to make the course so good.

Such a great course. The layout is awesome. The conditions too notch. The staff friendly. You'll forget you're on a public course on Long Island. It's right up there with Bethpage Black and Montauk Downs as one of the best public courses around. Water, sand and tough greens all make for a challenging day of golf. If you don't play well here, you can't blame it on the conditions. Wish I lived further out there so I could play it more often.

Great condition with excellent greens. Challenging layout that has lots of water. Worth the price. You probably want to take a cart, as many of the tees are far from the preceding greens. While the bunkers had no rakes for to Covid, the bunkers are excellent. A good amount of sand with a nice density.

This goes for all golf courses! We should be told greens were aerated before we book tee time! Tee Boxes and greens no bueno! Decent course. That's why i give it 3 stars.

Went here for my sister's Wedding. Lovely place. Drove the golf carts around to some photo locations on the golf course. One of the attendants Dawn was amazing at her job. Only thing they need is better communication with the employees giving alchohol to elderly that weren't supposed to be drinking.

Pricey but one of the nicest public courses on the Island. Not your regular run of the mill tracks where all the holes look alike. The signature hole is the 16th. A par 3 that plays around 150. The green is a peninsula with plenty of water to swallow up a short shot. Try Golfnow to get a discount rate otherwise a greens fee will run you $115

Tough place to play first time. Really need to hit targets. Played 2 par 3s at 200 yards and 3 putted both times because the pins were in tough spots to hit. Players could really benefit from a GPS that shows all the targets Sprinklers were on all day and avoiding them was a challenge. Take lots of balls and have fun.
