Well maintained course that has great layouts and excellent greens. The course provides mostly wide fairways, a good mix of elevations, electric carts with GPS, and great scenery. Definitley one of the nicest golf course in NJ.

Beautiful golf course, lovely club house appropriate for events. I attend a charity golf fundraiser here every year. They always do a great job. The golf course is well maintained with interesting terrain and varied challenges.

Great course and an amazing view. Tony at the shop is amazingly cool dude. Greens where perfect, didn't mind riding the path the 18 holes. Watch your food on hole 9. Very slick raccoon waits till you cross the board walk..and will rob your food😁🤣 …

Great morning of golf. Course was a little wet after last weeks storms but we had a terrific time. The staff is friendly and helpful. Even the rangers were very pleasant. They could use a beverage cart. There is a halfway house, but no other water available on the course and it was 95+ today (no, not my score the temperature). Will definitely be making a trip back !

Nice course with challenging layout. Played here handful times but pace always seems to be on slower side. Wish they send out rangers to keep up the pace with slow groups! Other than the pace, I love the mansion ridge! One of my favorite courses.

It's a beautiful course, it is a tough course. Conditions are always fantastic. Pace is hit or miss. We had a frost delay (10/04/20), we were 4:45, a month ago, we finished in 4:15, both 8:30 tee times. Their expectation is 4:33. If you can't carry 175-190 consistently, this course might not be fun for you. Lots of protected areas and nasty stuff might that as well be water to carry. That being said it is one of my favorite courses. Biggest draw back, no woods on the driving range.

I am extremely pleased and happy that I found this gem! The course is extremely well kept and in excellent shape for this early in the year. The staff was very helpful and shared their knowledge about the course. Had a driving range to warm up, irons only, and sand and chipping areas available as well. Allowed you to feel like a professional warming up! The carts on this course are electric and has gps for your yardages on the course. It has Bluetooth and music options on it as well! This course was awesome, and I look forward to playing there again soon!!! Did I mention I drove an hour to get to this course? I’m booking another tee time there next week, that’s how great the course was!!

The course is beautiful. Very challenging. But we were disappointed in the fact that when we booked the tee time we had gotten a price of $129.00 ea. But when we arrived at the club, we were charged $150.00 each. They need to get there pricing fixed... We felt like we were price gouged or just taking advantage of.

Great course but unfortunately with the rain from the days prior it was soaked a lot of shots with no compression from the ground and large divots. Fun and challenging course hope to play it again when we have a bit of a dry spell. Also a lot of blind holes par 5s where distance doesn't help much as other obstacles come into play so be sure to use the course map.

I live in northern NJ, about 30 minutes away from this course, well worth the trip. Course is located adjacent to condominiums, 5 different tee boxes per hole, fair water hazards. You will be challenged with uneven slopes in the fairway, but overall a fair course. Greens were aerated and sanded today, but will be back to normal in due time.

The view is amazing, golfing there is fun it's a great course. I go all season long even in the cold .Checkout the resturant the food is great. Recommend bringing large groups

Four-Plus star golf experience, but lacking in customer service. Safeguard all of your property and don’t expect 5-star service. I played a round with good buddies of mine on a twilight time and was one of the last groups to tee off. I mistakenly left my expensive rangefinder on the cart when we returned the cart and called back the very next morning to find out the whereabouts of the rangefinder (which should have been found by the cart guys, as we were essentially the last group to finish). Guy who answered said it was nowhere to be found, which doesn’t make sense unless one of the employees swiped it. One would think that they would hire more professional and “honest” employees. Anyway, course itself is challenging and immaculate, but they should hire better employees who provide better service and also, they need to improve their pace of play on the course (which shouldn’t be hard especially since they have quality GPS tracking carts)

Challenging course. Well maintained. Staff helpful. Rangers will speed you along. Carts have LCD with map and GPS. Very helpful for determining distance to pin, traps and obstacles. Clubhouse bar has good drinks and food. Nice outdoor seating too. Look for Groupon.

Quite an experience being able to play a Jack Nicklaus signature course for such a bargain! Although it has an incredible layout, it is a public course. Divots are not always fixed on the greens and especially never fixed on the fairways. Other than that (which, is honestly not a big deal and expected at public courses) the staff was friendly with me, especially the halfway house attendant (she was extremely nice!), and overall I had a great experience. Troon definitely knows how to keep a course nice! I recommend this course to anyone except beginners. I will definitely be going back next year and hopefully there aren't 30mph winds like this time!

Thanks Scott at the pro shop for making our experience a wonderful one, we played roughly three times in a week and absolutely loved it. The course is in great shape and the pro shop was very accommodating of my nine year old junior golfer. Played from the right tees its a great golf course.

Love the course, and shot game area. Greens were fast and true. Driving range is too short. They need to either put up nets or go with limited flight balls so you can hit more then just irons. They also need to space out the tees times more. 8 minute tee times don't work, you don't start on time and the course gets packed and it slows down play. With 5 sets of tees the course is playable for everyone, however people need to play the correct set of tees. The group in front of us was playing from the tips (tour) when they should have been playing from the middle tees which also slows down play. We spent the entire round watching them hit from the drop areas on all of the forced carry holes. The price is great on weekday afternoons, but is a little steep on weekend mornings.

12 of us played 18 in the morning and another 18 after lunch on 08/06/2013. The course was always top notch - Fun and challenging layout, demanding length, great view. But more impressive than anything was the speed and the condition of Greens. Can't say anything negative about Mansion Ridge this year. I hope it stays like this for many years to come. However, it's a bit pricey so I'm always looking for a special promo to book for my group of 12.

The course and layout is great.....but......the maintenance is marginal. I have played this course several times a year, for years. I won't be coming back. The pace is terrible on weekends. We waited on EVERY tee for 18 holes. No rangers in site. The starter sent people off haphazardly. It backed up on #2, a par 3. The condition of the course is like a muni. The people working are not pleasant and poorly trained. The driving range rarely has balls. It is a shame that a great Nicklaus track has been neutered.

Good round, took 4 hours so no waiting for the group ahead. Course was in good condition. Can be challenging so pick the right tee boxes for your ability or bring plenty of balls!

Perfect from start to finish. Bag drop, parking, proshop, practice facilities, course half way house, Miguel's are all top notch. Staff is courteous and professional. Head pro is a great guy who goes out of his way to make sure your experience is a memorable one. Looking no further then Mansion Ridge for an experience to remember.
