daniel wickeyI was fortunate enough to get an invite. Beautiful course, even in December. Conditions were still excellent, probably got the last day of actual greens. You could see the temp tees set up. The club house was closed but golf in December was enough for me to hope for an invite back.

Modern layouts cannot touch these old masterpieces, where the architect utilized the natural contours of the land to create a true shotmakers test of golf. Both fair and challenging, Fenway will be a pleasure to all those who respect the traditions of the game as well as the royalty of classic, American golf course architecture. Bravo to the members of Fenway who have the privilege of preserving and cherishing such a beautiful layout.
