Great course! Fairways were dry....appears no irrigation on Fairways, makes them tight this time of year. On course bathrooms are closed. No water on course! But Great layout, clubhouse folks and maintenance were fantastic!

Even with rain the previous night, the course was in great shape. Second time playing here and was impressed with the improvements. The greens were under repair last time, and the outcome couldn't have been better. Perfect speed and in excellent shape. Will definitely be back!

Such a fun course to play! The tee boxes were in rough shape, but the beautiful scenery made up for it. We loved playing this course and look forward to playing it again soon.

The tee boxes were terrible. The course itself was just ok. I wouldn't write home about it. The driving range had no grass at all. Considering this was in late May, I was disappointed.

Nice challenging public golf course with a high number of holes with doglegs and uphill/downhill tee shots. Almost every hole is lined with trees so driving the ball reasonably straight is important. Greens are in good conditions and have a fair amount of undulations. Definitely worth playing if you're looking for golf with elevation changes.

Great golf course the way you wind through the park. The view is spectacular no distractions just you and nature. When you leave #1 you don't see any thing other than the course until you come up # 9 it's the same on the back. Just a wonderful golf experience. It's my favorite course.

The is a nice public course at a State Park. Pro shop is fairly Spartan, but the course has a snack bar and driving range. Putting green doesn't have cups cut, just pins stuck in the green surface. The course itself is straightforward with no hidden pins or 90 degree dog legs. Even the long hitters can hit driver off most tees. When we played, the greens had been aerated several weeks before and sanded in the last few days. The sand made determining the speed a bit tricky. But even if sanded, they were surprising quick. Green surface was consistent with few bad areas. Better than I expect to see at a nice country club. Traps were typical of a public course, low, but with decent sand. Not as many traps as you would find on fancier courses. They had a senior rate, and on a Tues AM I paid just over $30 with cart. Range balls were $4 for a small bucket of about 30 balls. Great value and play was quick. Though it was 4th of July week and we walked on with no reservation, the course was not crowded. Worth the play if you are nearby or staying at the park.

The course was in great shape, even for February. Greens were sanded, but rolled true. Lots of elevation changes. Challenging, but not frustratingly difficult. Not much water. Got pretty backed up on a Sunday at noon, but I'll chalk that up to it being the first nice day this year.

Beautiful clubhouse, friendly helpful staff. Couldn't take carts on fairways b/c of rain previous night so each hole was like climbing a mountain both ways. Could only do 9 b/c we were so tired from climbing and walking, one of us with a bad hip. Don't understand the concern about the fairways, tho, as both Tennesse golf trail courses we've played have beautiful greens and crappy, weedy and dirt covered fairways. Could understand the concern if it was bent grass, but really how much worse can the fairways be?

Challenging course if you're not straight off tee. Very scenic, pace of play can be a bit rough at times, but I've always had fairly good experiences here.

Great for high-medium handicappers, casual golfers, really nice staff and always a good crowd golfing who love meeting new people. An older guy played a round with me and gave me a ton of tips that helped me. Beautiful course and lobby too. Good prices

The course is nice for the average golfer. Today we were late for a tee time and treated horrible by Jim the starter. Actually had to ask him if he wanted us to play somewhere else because we could do that. There were 2 of us playing and we caught the group ahead of us by the 5th hole. At the turn we ran into a group of 6 and saw a group of 8. We finally just gave up. The biggest issue this course has is monitoring the pace of play. 4.5 hours to play 16 holes. If you go plan on 5hrs if not longer.

Jeff K and his team have the course looking fantastic! Since they shrunk the fairways somewhat and are leaving waste areas unmowed, it is tougher than it used to be. All in all, though, it is a good, fair test of ability.

Needs work on the tees. Hard to find alevel spot. Ridiculous Also need to replace or correct yardage markers; this slows down play and it would really be a simple fix. No excuse This place should be making a profit and it has enough workers to get things done. It's a really good course. Very courteous and helpful pro shop. Thanks

Nice course, one of my favorites in the area. Recently aerated greens were a little bumpy and there has been a lack of rain but overall in good condition.

Schoener Golfplatz, nette Leute, guenstiges Greenfee. Am besten mit einem Einheimischen mitspielen, der weiss wo es langgeht. (Translation) Nice golf course, nice people, cheap green fee. The best way to play with a local who knows where to go.
