Outstanding practice facility with a large number of grass tees and mats, as well as a short game practice area with four greens and a putting green. A walking nine-hole par 3 course, friendly staff, and snacks make this the perfect place to work on your game for a few hours. Open late and very well lit after Dark. I can't wait to go back.

Best public golf range in the city. The land sits in a floodain so the soil is fertile and subsequently the grass is almost always green and plush. The teeing area is approximately 50 yards deep so Stan and the crew are able to move the hitting area forward and backwards every single day to allow the grass to grow back quickly. Solid short game Practice facility and the putting green is fair condition, could be better but he's working on it. The 9 hole, Par 3 course isn't Augusta National but it's a great track to work on your wedge game. Holes from 175 yards to 40 yards is a great way to work with your scoring clubs.

Sweet grass range and fun par 3 course! Always make improvements to my game when I can practice on grass instead of mats. Hit a bucket and then try the course!

Right down the road from my house. Convenient for me, but also a fantastic place to work on all areas of your game. Par 3 course is fun and still challenging. Greens can be hit and miss, but overall they are good.

Excellent place for practice. The staff is extremely kind and it appears that they are making significant improvements to the facility this fall. This is my GO-TO place for all things practice, I just wish the greens were in better shape. The range now has lights which make for a great feature now that sunset is well before 5:00PM. I've could spend hours here, although the prices could be a tiny bit lower.

good range, par 3 course provides some good shot opportunities but the greens have always been awful. Practice green is nicely designed but not in great shape, probably not worth the extra charge. Overall I'm happy they seemed to have recovered from the flood.

Hands down best practice facility I've been too! Really awesome it's lighted for some of the night! Huge range (mats or turf), multiple putting and chipping green. It's dope!

I don't play much golf, I am definitely a beginner. This place is perfect. Every visit to this place was a pleasant experience. The course is short and fun. The staff is super nice. Only thing that would complain about is that like most of Nashville, this place is becoming more and more busier. Which is good for the establishment but bad for my loner vibes..

Nice for beginners. Employees rushed us on a few holes though. We had two kids out there learning so that was a bit unpleasant but otherwise we had fun.

The owner is a great golf pro and he won't sell you something you don't need (except maybe a jumbo size bucket of balls), property was in the 2010 floodplain but they've come back leaner and they make efficient use of the space. Don't feel bad about making a 4 on #3

It's ok here. I've had a few rude experiences but nothing that would stop me from going. Not like we have a wide choice of ranges in Bellevue. The distance markers are pretty much always off and their practice greens are the same as the greens on the par 3 course, meh. The grass is well maintained everywhere else. I can't wait for Top Golf to open though.

I like this place for what it is, driving range and 9 hole par 3. But man I wish the greens were in better shape. If they focused on fixing the greens we would play there more often.

Awesome driving facility, par 3 course, and experienced staff so close to downtown Nashville. Stan is a very patient golf instructor who knows so much about the game and the golf swing. Highly recommend for families looking to get their kids involved in the game.

Great driving range. Lots of room and friendly help. The greens on the 9 hole par 3 aren't the greatest, but this more about practicing those approach shots.

Great learning course and range. My wife wife has been coming here to take lessons from Bill Breen, and I have seen such a great improvement in her abilities and confidence on the golf course. I like to play the little 3-par course during her lesson. It is not a difficult course (except I always seem to loose a ball on #6), but it is a fun way to work on practicing your irons. If your looking for a challenging course, this is not for you. However, if you are learning the game, or just want a easy walking 3-par, this is a perfect fit. Ps. I would have given them a 4 star rating, but having Bill Breen here gets this place the extra star! He is such a friendly and effective teacher. My wife is already getting to the point where she may be beating me on the golf course soon.

I want to give a shout out to Harpeth Valley Golf Center owner, Stan Smoot, who has fulfilled a dream we've had for awhile for our son. I prayed a few months back that God would send him something he can do to give back to the world. I had no idea what it could possibly be. He has Down Syndrome and autism is very shy and mostly nonverbal. We started to a new church on this side of town after moving here and our pastor told us to pray specifically and believe, so I prayed once more, and the next afternoon we were on the greenway when I noticed balls covering the weeds and the large machine sweeping up balls from the smooth area. I asked Scotty if he might like to pick up the ones from the weeds. He liked the idea that he would help clean the earth up and make everyone's walk prettier. He clapped his hands wildly and screamed "like an egg hunt!" I've been shy about putting him out there for fear he will be seen as being in the way, and this was a job who might not bother anyone (shame on me it's my archaic raising although I know society LOVES these kids and showers them now), and I just had to get up the nerve to ask, and it took a few days. Well, I'd like to say that Stan Smoot was very kind to us. I explained our situation, and he said he'd like to have Scotty on board. I explained I knew there were liability issues and I'd work alongside him to ensure he wouldn't get hurt and could he just put a dollar in an envelope for every bucket Scott turns in, but low and behold it was twice that! Scotty really is enjoying his new job. Many people will often stop and say encouraging things. I love that a gentleman from India with a darling Bangladesh-sounding accent said, "hey here over here by these bushes; hurry it's a goldmine!" Scotty liked that. If you happen to be walking the greenway in the early mornings and see him, if you wouldn't mind yelling out a "good job" or a "thanks for keeping the earth pretty" I'd appreciate it. I was very ugly and angry in the past, and I'm sorry for that, but I'm thankful for the "Stan Smoots" in the world who help nuts like me become a more open-to-the-love-that-is-out-there kind of mom. He's a genuinely nice guy and a super good teacher (my hubs is taking refresher lessons). Thanks again to all the nice people who've encouraged Scotty while walking through there. We are going to try and talk to all the area golf courses about retrieving balls from the hard-to-get places, but in the mean time, this small course is a beautiful place to play, with friendly players, and a very well-kept, beautiful rolling hills golf course. We love the natural wild-grown edge around the whole course especially now that we can help keep the balls out of it.
