Reviews of Whistling Straits Golf Course
We played the Irish course and it was fantastic. Easily one of the best courses in Wisconsin and every bit as good as the Straits course. The only difference is the Irish does not have any holes on the water. I loved the short Par 3s that were challenging even though you had a short iron in your hand for them. The par fives were excellent as well, making you decide whether you should take on risk and go for them or play it safe. Overall, loved the course.
We played both the Straits & the Irish course @ Whistling Straits and it was awesome!! It was a bit on the chilly side when we played the Irish but that did not diminish the beauty or the experience and we had wonderful weather when playing the Straits. Once again Kohler delivers excellence.
Great golf experience. Challenging and picturesque courses. A must play for golfers of all ages. Play were the pros play and enjoy the atmosphere. I will definitely be back.
Absolutely breathtaking! I had a hard time focusing on my game due to the beautiful scenery the entire time. Was literally shocked that it kept getting prettier the more holes we played. Wow!
Got to experience the 2021 Ryder Cup here.. course was pure but was actually very rough to walk at least where we were aloud to walk. Sweet venue
Really a great course, I played on a ery windy day, so was not a fun day playing golf. Really nice facility, friendly staff. Caddie was really ni e and helpful. Wish I could play again but when there is no wind.
We came for the 2020 Ryder Cup and we were very impressed with Whistling Straits. The course was beautiful and we had a fantastic time. The event was well done and everyone we met was friendly and helpful. Maybe one day we can try to play the course ourselves.
Amazing experience for the Ryder Cup! The course is a rough walk but it was amazing condition! Definitely will be back to play as soon as it's all died down!
Lived up to the hype. The Great Lake felt like an ocean. So many holes are near the water. The back 9 water holes favor a fade or power fade in that u r starting ur shot away from the water. We saw the “bunker” that DJ grounded his club and got the penalty.
My driver was on so it was a fun day. Birdied a hole so that was fun. Beautiful day and would def go back. My friend got a caddie and they said he was ok but not great.
I spent a grip at the pro shop for gifts for friends. I loved the putter cover and the divot fixer w an interesting ball marker. Their logo.
Loved my experience. Highlight of the entire week. Other courses were good too (Erin hills and Mammoth Dunes) but Whistling was def the best ;)
Just an amazing place. Reminds me of Pebble Beach with pristine water views, beautiful rolling holes right on water. We played late afternoon which was a) much less expensive and b) provided impeccable sunset views. I could recommend d a caddie, we didn’t have one and weren’t sure on where to hit a few shots. Also wore us out walking all 18 (and a bit rushed to finish before sunset).
Went to see the Ryder Cup. Enjoyed seeing this beautiful course more. One of the best ever
If you are a golf fan, I would put the Irish and the Straits at the top of the list to play. Even over Kiawah and other similar courses.
Weather might not have cooperated (light rain, cold, and 25+mph winds) but we had great time still playing both courses. Caddies (Oscar and Alex) we had were great and helped us make best of the weather and I still managed to shoot decent ( with a few mulligans 😉). Courses were amazing and Pete Dye was clearly insane when he designed them.
There’s not a better experience in golf. Period
Superlatives need to be invented to if we’re to accurately describe this northern golf paradise. The lesser known Irish Course packs just as much as a punch as the more heralded Straits, if not the lake views. They do however make an appearance on the back nine but don’t lost focus⛳️
Amazing course, second year here for a Jr PGA tournament and this year I got to play practice round with my daughter on the Irish course.
Staff is 5 stars as is the course!!!
Every year my mother picks a world class golf course and we take a drive, have lunch and of course-visit the pro shop. She loves getting the guys golf shirts for the holidays. This course is just gorgeous, even though it was a bit rainy there were guys golfing and enjoying themselves. The pro shop was wonderful with many shirts and other golf items on display and the restaurant is not too be missed.
Best experience since Scotland. Fabulous views from almost every hole on the Straits course, and fun to have a caddie who knew the course. It's pricy, but worth it once (or maybe twice).
Yes it’s pricey but it is truly an awesome golf experience. There’s nothing like the feeling of walking down to the creek and then up the path to the first tee box. You can imagine the Vijay Singh’s and the Jason Day’s heading out to play the Sunday round for all the marbles. Then staring down from the tee box on 18 to the tangled mess of a hole that is trisected by a creek and boulders. Wow! I’m in awe. We were guided through this tricky Pete Dye design by expert caddie Andy Hawe. My golf playing partner scored his personal best at the Straits this time out. We love it and will always be back.
Hit em strait and ALWAYS listen your your caddie.
Amazing course and a great experience. I drove from Minneapolis to golf here with a couple friends from Illinois. Almost every hole has a view of the lake and the ones that don't are just as impressive. Caddies we're great addition to the experience and I can't wait to go back for another round.
A phenomenal golf course in Wisconsin! This course will challenge you like none other. Shot placement and strategy are king. This course isnt about gripping and ripping. Highly recommend. Magical experience
Magnificent location, welcoming and helpful staff. Enjoyed a cocktail in the bar with stunning views! Looking forward to our dinner experience.
Incredible experience, from the staff to the restaurant to the courses. Highly recommend you stop by if in the area and enjoy a one of a kind special experience
This is a must play place...it should be on every golfers bucket list for sure! I have nothing bad to say...course is extremely well maintained, staff is top notch, caddies are knowledgeable and fun, and the layout is amazing. Great views on every hole. Don't worry about your score, just enjoy the views and the atmosphere and have fun!
We visited Whistling Straits for a wedding and the golf course was absolutely beautiful. You can see the amount of time and energy all the employees put into the course and venue and it was beyond imagination.
Incredible experience, expensive but everything about the day was first class. The course is tough but don’t get caught up in your score, just enjoy. To make your day even better request Nate19 as your caddie, he’s terrific.
Good luck finding a single negative about this place. We just stopped for a drink and the view but stayed and enjoyed the sun and the golfers finishing on the 18th hole. Add the views and it's a home run romantic spot to share with your sweetheart.
Obviously a top notch place to play. The course was in immaculate shape. The weather in June was cool and the wind was not too bad. The pub on the second floor of the clubhouse was a great place to grab lunch and a beer before or after a round. We ate at the restaurant downstairs for dinner. The food was good but the service left a lot to be desired. Overall a great experience.
Cool place. Me and my father and my mother and my sister and my grandmother, her being my mother's mother, and my grandfather, him being my mother's father. Me and my other 5 family members went here for a Professional Golf Association, or PGA for short, golf tournament. It was fun.
Amazing food and a great atmosphere!! Our waitress was super nice. I highly recommend the warm apple cider. It's amazing
The staff was extremely nice and very attentive. The course is long and challenging with great views and more sand and elevation changes than I was expecting. The wind makes a huge difference in temperature and can make the course a real test from the forward tees. Oh, and you might get to see the sheep, if you are lucky
Played the Irish. Course is in very nice shape. It is very difficult, make sure you can drive the ball fairly straight.
Warning - if you are not very mobile, be sure to check if it's 'cart paths only'! Probably in this CPO mode, it will add an hour to your round, and some deep fatigue !
Staff was helpful and polite.
Disclaimer - I work for the sister courses at BWR.
Best golf course I have ever played. From the immaculate course conditions to the stunning vistas, this course never disappoints. Pete Dye truly created something special here. When on the course it feels like you’re in a different state. The course looks, feels and plays like a true links course with the wind being a factor on most days. The golf staff is top notch with the caddie services being world class. Playing this course should be on every golf fans bucket list as it is worth every penny! The clubhouse is gorgeous and looks as if it was picked up in Scotland and set down perfectly facing Lake Michigan.
Great course with awesome views of lake Michigan. Great links style play. Caddies are definitely helpful and needed. Challenging for any level player
A must For the bucket list!!
Truly one of a kind!! A day to remember!!
Awesome, we attended the Ryder cup and it was fantastic. Everyone did a great and the execution was awesome!!!!
A beautiful course with excellent accommodations and a very friendly staff. The attached restaurant is surprisingly affordable, although the prices for golfing are pretty steep for the layman.
Amazing course. Lived up to the hype! It was a very windy day, which ballooned scores, but the course was still fabulous. The staff, grounds and amenities of the course are all top notch. Really enjoyed playing a round here.
Amazing golf experience. Something you can’t truly appreciate until you play it.
Great food, service just ok. Obviously local teen staff, not experienced servers. As long as you're not expecting menu knowledge or wine pairing suggestions, it's fine. We had to steal silverware from another table since we weren't brought any. But again, the food was fantastic.
We played a late season round. We golfed the Irish. The course is nice very nice. The club house is nice.
First impression upon seeing the Straits courses from the back of the clubhouse... Terrifying!
absolutely ridiculous golf experience truly unbelievable
Fantastic, Beautiful, Must Play for Golfaholics. Walking only with caddies. One of Pete Dye's Best. Dining on the Veranda, overlooking 18th exquisite. Irish Pub on second floor overlooks course & Lake.
8 handicap index playing well...shot 83 with double on 6 and 2 triples on the back (stuck in bunkers both times on back). Played from the white tees (6360 yds) which was about right for me. Listen to caddie advice as you can't see fairways in the distance on some holes. Good caddy can make or break round...Travis was great....3 birdies including 18!!!
This place was an awesome host site for the Ryder cup! Great venue and great golf course! This was my second trip to a Ryder cup and had an absolute blast even though I went on a Wednesday. The course is beautiful and amazing and I cannot wait to book a vacation to golf here! The views and pictures were amazing!
Such a wonderful place. A little slice of golf heaven.
Bucket list for golfers. Great day all around. Lunch, golf, service, shuttles. Well done!
A great places for non-golfers to have lunch outside and enjoy the spectacular views!
Splendid golf course!
Bucket list destination and it did not disappoint. Absolutely stunning, TV does not do it justice.
I also enjoyed a incredible breakfast. The clubhouse in general is amazing. I will be making it a point to come back to spend more time here and play the other courses.
Lived up to its billing as one of the most beautiful courses in the world. Ride the Irish course then walk the Straits course. Solid restaurant at the clubhouse.
Beautiful restaurant at this amazing golf course. Delicious lunch too!
The most beautiful course, it's like playing in Ireland. A mist came in and it transported me there. Facilities are wonderful buildings are like Ireland as well. Champion ship course!!!
Very fun course to play! The layout and the setting are just spectacular. The course really isn’t hard off Mother Nature is cooperating. If the wind really starts to blow I can see how it could be a beast. The caddies were “dope”. We’ll be back and can’t wait to watch it being played in the Ryder Cup.
I had the privilege of playing here for a work function. Amazing world class golf course. Transportation is sketchy. It's easy getting to Kohler via the surrounding airports, but getting an Uber to take you back is hit or miss. Neither Uber or lyft allow for scheduling.
Beautiful course, but for the Ryder Cup we were "lost" a lot. Needed more signage. But all the volunteers, staff, officials, Wisconsin State Police, ADA staff, and shuttle staff ...we cannot say enough wonderful things about all of you!
Had a great time at the zoo in early September. Giraffe feeding was a lot of fun, so many fun things to do. The train ride was super fun, and so was the zoo tour (zoomobile). Wish they would have had more dining open though. Zoo keeper Joe did a wonderful job leading the giraffe feeding as well!
I am shocked to see Whistling Straits only has 4.9.
This place is heaven. It's beautiful and challenging. The staff is friendly and keep you on pace. The caddies are awesome. The food is delicious. The practice facility is in better condition than most courses. I've been lucky enough to play the Straits and the Irish a few times each, and I look forward to my next visit.
Whistling Straights Golf Course is an amazing cultivated landscape. The technicalities of elevation, wind and skill are lost when one can just admire the beauty of nature. If looking to measure your game, this course is not for the meer confident but rather the proven experienced golfers. Listen to your caddy & don't forget to tip your spotter.
What can I say other than worth every penny
Highest level of golfing experience. Located on the Lake Michigan. Lovely settings, including sheep on the course adding a touch of Sottish ambiance. The views are charming.
Enjoying the Ryder Cup festivities all week long. Great venue with amenities in abundance. Prices for drinks and food are a bit high… but it is the Ryder Cup after all. Beautiful scenery. Volunteers are awesome!!
Situated on the shore of Lake Michigan, this golf course is beautifully landscaped offering dramatic views. But as the venue for this year's Ryder Cup tournament, this course is very challenging. Also, while is open to the public, it has very expensive greens fees.
Looking to play somewhere fun? Beautiful? Challenging? Look no further! #21 ranked course in the USA and #3 public course is sure to amaze. The hospitality is phenomenal and that’s not including the golf course. Truly a special place. Memories will last a lifetime and keep you coming back for more! 4 beautiful tracks to choose from, with the Straits as the crown jewel. 10/10 would recommend this Midwest gem!!
Phenomenal course and golfing experience. We played Irish - it's a fair value in my opinion and while the course can be challenging, it's not overly punitive. Everything is beautiful and well kept - definitely a very nice view. The clubhouse was nice and the food at the restaurant was very good. Very friendly staff and high quality caddies top off the experience.
Beautiful course to look at and play on I imagine but not spectator friendly. Everything at PGA tour events is overpriced. 2 serious complaints re practice day on Tuesday for Ryder Cup; no communication that Europeans were only playing 9 holes which left many spectators disappointed and no warning from Visa that The Sapphire hospitality tent would not be open on Tuesday.
We played the Straights and Irish on June 2 and 3 of 2021. I could go on and on about this place. Irish is a very nice course, but the Straights are why you come. The golf course just takes your breath away. The only negative was our caddy was way inexperienced but he will learn. Make sure you take in a drink and sit on 18 and watch the guys finish on 18 and come in on 9n after you play. Just Awesome .....
Loved the experience. Good food and the patio offers great views of the beautiful golf course.
Toughest course I've ever played...I think there is room for a couple more sand traps... hospitality is unbelievable... golf instructor makes you feel comfortable and builds confidence that your doing good...
High class astonishment and service
Great course. Played "the straits" course. It was very challenging course to play. Greens were cut super shot and rolled really fast. Views were awesome. Played it in late October when rates were for fall and they cut the grass really short. I imagine this course would be harder when the fescue is longer in summer. People have to play this at course at least once around the Ryder cup. Any golf fan will love this course and the views....just be prepared to juggle safe shots and a long walk.
The facilities are top notch and the Straits course is phenomenal. The place feels like it had been there for hundreds of years. The architecture is really a throwback yet with all the modern niceties. The courses are both a big challenge but play fair. The Irish plays harder in my opinion. We played the Straits course in a day the wind was blowing thirty. It was a true links golf experience. It's impossible to say which hole is the prettiest. Not a single hole is disappointing.
Worth it!
Great course, and fantastic, professional caddy. All the same, it’s remarkable to me that a course the caliber of Irish Straits allows radios. The group ahead of us had one , and so while playing our $175-ish round, we listened to Hall and Oates, Donna Summer, etc. Ridiculous.
Nothing the people here could control, but the bugs were AWFUL. No joke, it was like a plague on the back 9. Really made me just want to hit and walk as fast as I can so it got old on the last few holes. Otherwise, the experience was great. People were accommodating and nice. I’d love to play again when the back 9 isn’t the plague. Played the Straits course.
One of the coolest course you will ever see visually. I have not played here yet so I cannot speak to that. But it is absolutely a sight to behold. You don't have to be a golfer or a fan of golfing to come here and simply see how beautiful this location is. Walk around the course (when allowed to do so) or have and amazing meal at the restaurant. All right along the shores of Lake Michigan.
Awesome experience! I was fortunate enough to get out after calling same day. My caddie Stephen (164) made the day all the better. He was extremely knowledgeable about the course and we had a great time, which is no easy feat for caddying a single. Great round and look forward to coming back!
Gorgeous course. Great choice for the Ryder Cup
the course is attractive with good greens but-as a former pro - I think
there are some unfair aspects-far too many silly small bunkers with
steep banks. Also rather daft to have plants in middle of them on
occasions. I expect some Ryder Cup players would not like oddities
liike these and others.
Driving range has a plastic mesh over the grass that catches your golf shoes if you walk on it. Like nothing I have seen. My 88 year old mother got her feet stuck and fell face first, injuring her wrist. Really no need for that!!!
Course is remarkable and otherwise exceptional experience.
Best golf experience of my life. Whistling Straights needs to be at the top of your golf bucket list. Every hole offers breathtaking views of Lake Michigan. Extremely challenging, but if you play the right tees, anyone can enjoy themselves.
Didn’t get to play the Straits because I’m handicapped. Our travel group did not make me aware thus only plate The Irish and The Meadows. Not Kohler properties issue I just didn’t find the courses any better than the RTJ Trail
An incredible course and very knowledgeable caddies. I gave it four stars because the bunkers were in terrible shape (hardpan, mud). For the exceptionally high green fee, they should be in a much better condition. As an aside, the service in the pub was painfully slow but I won’t knock the golf course itself for that.
4-1/2 stars. Soooo beautiful. The course is challenging but shouldn't discourage players with lesser skills. You have the option for caddies which I would recommend for the experience but add another $100 (caddy fee plus tip) on top of the high price to play a round there. I had a package deal to play Irish and Whistling Straits for the weekend so it helped save cost--well worth it and my only gripe is I can't play it more often. Everyone was very courteous and the caddies are knowledgeable.
What a course and views, enjoyed the golf not so much spending almost $600 for a round. Still worth it to play at least once. Will play again only if someone invites and pays for my golf
Outstanding Golf Course and the best par 3's I have ever played. The course is one of the toughest I have ever played but its a once in a life time experience. Check it out and worth the drive if you can make it happen
My wife and I recently played the Straights course and found it to be absolutely beautiful and very challenging. We also had lunch at the clubhouse and felt everything was top notch! Our server Carmen was very attentive and provided a wonderful dining experience. We will be back!
Amazing view. Course will kick your butt if you aren't accurate off the tee. Half the course runs along Lake Michigan. Do not use a pull cart on this course as the elevation changes and walking paths are too narrow.
One of the best golf experiences of my life. Any serious golfer should try to play here once. Not only is the course amazing the whole experience is first class. Make sure you book times at Black Wolf Run as well.
Beautiful course. Very challenging especially on a windy day. Service was top notch. Shout out to Jason today working next to the bev cart. He happily went to my car to grab an item for me on hole #8.
Tip:Don't bother using a push cart. There is not much of a path for them. If you are not using a caddie, just carry your bag. Trust me you will not regret it.
Course is in great shape for early season. Bunkers could use a little work but I understand why they are not raked during this COVID-19 thing so I will not hold that against them at all.. Just a note for those that will play in the next week or two.... The bunkers might not be immaculate.
Stopped by the clubhouse when in Kohler with husband. Laura was our bartender, she was welcoming and friendly. As it was a freezing afternoon, she suggested a variety of drinks to warm us up. The ambience of this place is spectacular. Their specialty drinks were wonderful. Excellent selection of high end spirits.
Definitely a place to stop when you are in the area!
Spectacular. The course is so grand and the food at the restaurant was delicious.
The staff bent over backwards to make it a wonderful experience. We sat outside for cocktails and dinner to enjoy the view...inside for dessert and coffee to enjoy the fireplace.
Played the Irish Course on May 7th, 2017. Temperature was 47 degrees, along with 20 mph wind gusts. Took my son & friends along. The course is a challenge, as it really makes you think. The holes are really cool and you will be tired by the end of your round from the terrain. Would play again, no doubt.
Breathtaking. A once in a lifetime type of experience... made even more special with all the Ryder Cup preparation going on all around the course.
A beautiful, lakeside links course! If you have a bucket list or thinking of starting one, this is a must. Only downside to playing this course is pace of play, a 5 hour round. Our foursome waited pretty much on every single hole starting with 8th hole. In the end, our foursome finished in 5 hours and 15 minutes. Ugh! I would love to play here again but not if i it still takes 5+ hours.
The Straights course is tops, no doubt. Irish very good as well. Can't go to a "5" though due to the unreal price to play the Straights. Green fees plus being forced to take a caddie (on Straights), it's a $600+ round. Package deals are somewhat better of course, but for someone like myself it's a "one and done" experience, only due to the price. Played really well, great experience, awesome course. BTW, make sure you are pretty good out of the sand :-)
A BEAUTIFUL view of Lake Michigan on so many holes. Extreme help having caddies Terry and Trevor; Informative, helpful, positive, fun and very professional. A GREAT oportunity for me (played 9 holes from reds) and for my husband who admitted he liked Whistling Straits better than Pebble Beach. Can't wait to play WS again. Charming, clean area with nice shopping and great food. Must eat in Wisconsin Room!
Played the Irish on Wednesday and the Straits Thursday. Staff was excellent in giving us options for the Irish course whether we wanted to take a cart (cart path only), walk it ourselves or take a caddie. Decided on a cart because we were playing the Straits the next day and didn’t want to wear our legs out. Both days we had the entire place to ourselves. While playing the Straits our caddie Sam was excellent, had to double bag and was still very attentive to both of us. Was expecting something completely over the top and a stuffy, and was pleasantly surprised by the laid back atmosphere (maybe an end of the season thing). Even had a staff member who caught us while we were playing the Irish and apologized that we hadn’t been offered refreshments or a beverage cart (we weren’t expecting any given the amount of play) and gave us drinks and brats on the house. Even though we offered to pay he refused. Just outstanding service all around and not to mention two great courses, including one of the best in the world.
Came here with 15 other guys for a Ryder Cup extravaganza. What an absolute treat.
All 4 courses are very worthy, of course Whistling being the crown jewel, Meadows, Irish and River are outstanding. Conclusion, the best 4 courses in one area that I've ever played.
Hospitality is off the charts, from the caddies, caddie master, cart girls, pro shop everything top to bottom is 1st class.
The new suite wing at The Inn at Woodlake is fabulous. Great suite, however if you have double occupancy the beds are singles, and there's plenty of room for 2 queens or at least 2 doubles. Small complaint just didn't make sense to me.
I love, love, love this place and can't wait to go back!!!
When we called and asked if the greens would be aerated/sanded they told us they do that weeks ahead of our planned trip and they would be pristine by the time we got there. Played a few days ago and they were covered in hole punctures. Very disappointing. Made me feel like they only care about getting your money versus taking care of the customer. Too expensive to spend that much money to play on subpar greens. I’d suggest coming here in June-Aug.
Played the Irish on a Sunday afternoon. Such a treat!!
Weather was a little cool, but the course was outstanding. The caddies were not good reading the greens. They were way to inexperienced.
A world class course that will humble even the best golfers. Great scenery to view in between each shot.
Straits course was the nicest I've ever played, and that includes many PGA courses. Nothing, not even Pebble, can match the waterfront views. Makes Arcadia Bluffs look like a municipal course.
I truly love everything about it and have been there for many reasons for years now. And the Ryders Cup....over the top!! Beautiful!! Great win!!!!
The Best Golf Course in Wisconsin and top 5 Public in the nation, need I saw more? Seriously, why are you reading a review for Whistling Straits, you could be spending your time doing something way better. You know the course is awesome.
Can you believe it...a golf course gem in Sheboygan, WI! Like Bandon Dunes on the west coast, this course is in the middle of nowhere and the golf is spectacular. This course will beat you up if you're not a single digits player or close to one. The good news is if you have any appreciation of golf course design and layout, you can still have a good experience even if you shoot way over par (and lose a few golf balls while doing so).
Going to play at Whistling Straits Golf Course, N8501 Lakeshore Rd, Sheboygan, WI 53083 will be a wonderful time for your group. The course, caddies, club house and all facilities are top notch. I'm looking forward to the next time I come back here.
I was lucky enough to play here. Make sure to enjoy every minute/shot/view. And bring an extra ball or two. Course is in amazing shape; pride in the course shows here. Five stars all around.
The links-style Straits course, rated 5-1/2 stars, is sculpted along two miles of Lake Michigan shoreline - a championship layout that many argue is the best "seaside" links course in America. Pete Dye's transformation of this former cornfield was dramatic. The views of the course itself, the Wisconsin shoreline and out onto Lake Michigan are stunning.
I went to the 2015 PGA--amazing course on tv, 1000 times better in person! Incredible !!! Well worth the 9 hour drive, took my son & have great memories !
Nice lunch on the patio with a view.
I’ve played several Major Championship golf courses and The Straits course is hands down my favorite. Amazing experience and highly recommend for any golf enthusiast.
You can often have very good meals, but rarely can you rave about all the courses of a meal. Trying hard to find the slightest flaw but only to be delighted by carmel drizzle on the desert! Complete success and truely delightful!
My favorite in the state day in and day out. Can’t beat a trip to Kohler. Amazing golf, amazing views and amazing staff. Thanks Mike and staff for a wonderful few days.
Spectacular views and an amazing experience.
One of the best golf courses you will ever play. Two courses. One you have to walk only and the other you can ride. What views and the course is perfect.
I have played several top courses and The Straits is by far the best course I have ever played. Magical experience!
By far the best public golf course I've ever played worth every dime. I want to thank everyone at Whistling Straits they made my experience absolutely unbelievable.
The course is a unique challenge each time I play. Love both courses, one of the best sets of enjoyable walkable courses anywhere. The walk alone is awe inspiring.
The golf course and caddies were absolutely amazing. Stunning views all over the course. Can't wait to play it again.
Greatest place on earth!
Excellent experience. Irish Course is beautiful. Caddies were very friendly and knowledgeable.
Fantastic lunch. Potato leak soup. Sticky pudding. Brand chocolate old fashioned. None better. Service relaxed and supurbe. Great room and views. Could not be better.
Just had lunch out there with my friend Bill and the food was fantastic and so were Kathy and Tiffany, I would say the whole atmosphere out there was wonderful we sat next to the window and we overlooked whole number nine on the Straits course thank you again Whistling Straits for a wonderful lunch and they're great staff.
Great experience!! Challenging course, great caddies who know the course that help you with insight of the course when you play. Hope to come again!! Scenery spectacular!
Condition is great, views are beautiful, course is a real challenge.
Played the Irish course. Was an experience. Most expensive course I've ever played. Not sure I would do it again as cost is somewhat prohibitive. But definitely worth it for the one time experience.
What an incredible place!!! Attended a wedding there. It's beautiful. I can only imagine that the golfing would be wonderful. Maybe next time.
Excellent golf course! We also had a caddie by the name of Juius for our four days. He was outstanding!

Beautiful clubhouse...they need to carry 4XL and 5XL tee shirts...because I am beautiful on the inside...right ?
Great. Has about 85% of what it feels to play a real Irish coastal course, like Ballybunion. Will get better with age.
