Stopped in for lunch. He had the MacSmashBurger with salad for a side. I did the Tuna Melt and sweet potato fries. Always great weekly specials! Soup too! They know what medium rare is with a burger. Service was good,friendly and attentive. Good choice of beers on tap! Food didn't take real long. Plan to be back for sure.

This place has a nice view of the golf course and it super clean. My dad said they have the best fish fry and my mom Loved the baked fish. Old fashions are $4.50 on a Friday night also! The wings and salads were awesome also. Service is great and food comes out fast and hot. We love it.

Always have a great time golfing here. Club house is big and lots of room The dining room seems to always be under some sort of transition. I've never had bad food, but there is always some change going on. Love the New Burgers & Brats stand outside making the turn very handy... need some cold drinks too!

Pace of play was great. Fairway grass could’ve been cut much shorter, as certain areas were like hitting out of the rough. Fairways and sand were also as hard as a rock, so for someone who takes divots whenever they hit, its somewhat tough to get a decent shot. Had to hit thin and club down all day. In addition, if your members don’t take care of their ball marks or rake the sand, I would expect the grounds crew to possibly do a better job at taking care of these items. Challenging course, but the value compared to what we got was lacking compared to other courses in the area. I had a free greens fee card for 18. Without that, don’t know if I’ll be back for golf.

The pricing is very good for what you buy. The amount of food you get is over the top. And the people who you'll meet are pleasant and nice to talk with. They have something for everyone there. Trust me check this place out.

A great chef works here! We were just at a class reunion there and the buffet was delicious and interesting. They have a big barroom with seating as well as a separate dining area. Wheelchair access.

As far as the golf goes, this is a fun and challenging course, and it's always been on decent shape when I've played. They have specials for the weekends that gets you as many rounds of golf as you'd like for those of you wanting to get in some extra holes. The bar/restaurant however has changed hands countless times, and I've had polite and quick service from the bar/waitstaff maybe once in about 10 visits. I haven't been there in about 6 months because that part has turned me off (and I live within a few blocks!) but I'm willing to give it another go since I've heard good things about the new food guy from where he previously worked. If they can sort out the food and improve the front of the house service this place is easily 5 stars

First time vistor for the Friday night fish fry. Drove about thirty minutes to get there from our home in Spring Grove, IL. Wife and I were normally go to the top rated Rusty Nail Fish Fry in Ringwood, IL but thought to try this place based on them being in Wisconsin a state known for fish fries. They had live music which was fantastic! Getting seated and served was a little slow but the service was still excellent! Wife ordered the walleye special and I a mixed order of the cod baked and fried. We also had a couple cocktails thar were great and very reasonably priced. Both fish meals were very disappointing in comparison to the Rusty Nail and many other fish fries we have experienced over the years. We do not plan on returning.

Nice and relaxing for afternoon lunch. I imagine during the golfing season it is busy. Menu is simple and the food is tasty. Staff is friendly.

Just had our work Christmas party at the Rivermoor golf club restaurant. I could not tell you how pleased everyone was with the food and service we received. We put this on at the last minute and they were able to accommodate us and our 35 guests that attended. Everything went off just as planned. Once again thank you, thank you, thank you. Bob

I love to frequent this course, it's easy to walk the course if you chose. It's clean and the staff is friendly. My boyfriend also experienced a great father's day brunch with his munchkin and really enjoyed it!

Sam's at Rivermoor has a great buffet. My fiancé took me there for Father's Day. Besides the great breakfast items, they had ribs, chicken, stroganoff, sausages, and many other scrumptious things. They have an omelette station that will make any omelette of your choosing. Their dessert bar was off the wall. Set off the golf course, it was both quiet yet quaint. We will return to try the fish fry on Friday nights.

Enjoy the golf and bar however they booked wedding party in front it was so slow out there and never seen a ranger. Almost 5 hrs to do 18 holes

Wasn't very many people when I was there plus they were having kitchen issues. I guess the kitchen was closing and they were looking for someone new to come in and open it up again so the service wasn't the best and an extremely limited menu most of which they didn't even have.

Reasonable rates and decent layout close to home for me. Greens were very slow and lawn maintenance is so-so but I went in early spring.

Was there for a reunion golf get together. The course was a little beat up late in the season. Some patch work on some greens and bate spots here and there. Still had fun.

New place for small groups. A bit out of the way. Current drawback is road construction caused a big detour. Without GPS, would be impossible to find.

Stopped in for a fish fry. Unfortunately will not be trying that again. The fish was very soggy and under cooked. The breading on the fish was also very soggy along with the onion rings. I didn't think a cook could mess up on onion rings but I guess he, she did. The only thing that was very good was the clam chowder soup.. I would give that a 5 star.
