Brutal. Sure, you’ll be on the green in regulation, but you’ll have a 50 yard putt. And with sand traps this large, you’ll be in them a lot! Big elevated tee shots. Great views. This is a stunning course. I actually prefer the Highlands course tho. The Grand Geneva courses are beautiful. We played GN the day before, and despite being more expensive, it’s not even close to as well maintained as Grand Geneva.

Even in the rain this place is great. It's fall golf so expect aerated greens.

Played here a few times on both courses. They are fun and not so hard that anyone can play. Good condition golf courses and a lot of variety of holes. Beautiful area and some great hilly holes. Pro-shop and food were good too. 👍 …

Played The Brute on Friday with the wife and had a great time. Course is challenging but playable. Greens are large so need to pay attention to pin location or you will have some long putts. Staff was awesome as was lunch before the round.

This is my second time playing The Brute and it was just as magnificent as I remembered it. A very picturesque course that really gets you thinking on every shot. And once you get to the greens, it's a whole 'nother ball game. Very challenging. Great golf conditions. I wish more people would fix their ball marks on the green! I fix a few every hole and like to think it's good Karma.

I was not a fan of this golf course or layout. The conditions were average if you factor in price, the greens were terribly slow. You can tell this is a traditional/old style course. The entire facility oozes 70's and 80's (which can be cool in certain settings). There are plenty of other great courses to play besides this one. I would not recommend

One of the best courses in the Midwest. Always in beautiful shape, always great service from staff, and gorgeous scenery. Area golfers need a round on the Brute every year for sure.

My friends and I try to play a lot of different courses throughout Wisconsin each summer and this is by far my favorite. It is the perfect amount of challenge and is absolutely beautiful.

Immaculately manicured. The scenery is the best course in Wisconsin. The greens are perfect for those who like fast and a reading challenge. This is a must play course.
