I am a local wedding photographer and I have shot at New Berlin Hills numerous times. This is one of my favorite venues because the staff is super friendly and the location is beautiful. The natural light that is available for photos is amazing. I highly recommend this location for weddings!

Fantastic little course that forces a bit of strategy to counter its lack of length. Always in good condition and always staffed by super helpful, courteous folk. Wonderful value for money and a credit to the area.

Fantastic staff. Well maintained course. Great layout. Very scenic, but NB Hills fatal flaw is the ridiculous green design. A good course for a golf outing with friends but not a good course for 'players'. Greens are a circus side-show and not a good test of golf skill. Truly takes the fun out of the game for people who want to score. With the exception of hole 5 there isn't a flat spot on any green. And its not even undulating... most greens are just a slippery slope from back to front. If you like being pin-high and having to play 6 feet of break on a 10-15 foot putt. You'll like NB Hills. There is a fine line between challenging and ridiculous. The greens at NB Hills are ridiculous. Obviously there is nothing they can do about the extreme slope of the greens. Its millions of dollars to renovate greens. But they should stop cutting the greens so tight to slow them down. That might help speed up play as well when everyone isn't 3 putting all day long. I'm a 5 handicap and I've played NB Hills hundreds of times over the last 5 year but this year only a handful. Realized how much more fun I have on other Waukesha County area courses where putting isn't so absurd. Pains me to say it as the staff here is so awesome but just a heads up for 'players' new to the area looking for a realistic challenging course. The greens here take any fun out of a round for those who are used to scoring.

We booked their space to use as our wedding venue this September. Needless to say I would highly recommend to any couples looking for a venue that is smaller and budget friendly! Ceremony was outdoors and my, it was a beautiful setting. Indoors for our reception, it can seat up to ~150 comfortably. We had about 85 guests. (Total cost was around 6k: food beverages set up taxes etc.) They were very accommodating for the various allergens / dietary restrictions - the food was to DIE for! They also set up all the decor etc. for us. :) Lisa, the current event coordinator is a peach to work with. Very kind and understanding. Kudos to her and the team for making our big day an event to remember. Love to all.

We had our wedding at New Berlin Hills Golf Course and it was absolutely stunning. The grounds were immaculate and the venue was just beautiful. We were able to take such pretty pictures with the beautiful scenery. Wendy was so accommodating through the whole planning process even when I seemed to send her one email after another with millions of questions. The tables were arranged perfectly and they even allowed us to get in the day before to decorate! The staff was fantastic and really went above and beyond to make our day amazing! The food was out of this world and I can't even count how many compliments we received on the appetizers and main course! I really couldn't recommend a better venue for your big day!

Decent course. 9/30/22 Be careful not to get a tee time if there is an outing the same day. The staff does not know how to schedule a tee time and an outing on the same day. We had a 12:32 tee time and we caught up to the outing on hole 12 at 3:00, waited 30 minutes for the 2 foursomes in front of us. Gave up and left...$42 for 11 holes.

First off on a Saturday am. Course was well maintained. Some tricky driving challenges and greens were moving nicely. Spiro is also the greatest course ranger of all time.

Nothing wrong with the course Great setup and upkeep Expect a near 5 hour round though. Novice golfers. Too close of tee times. It's becoming too annoying to play here. Get a 6am tee time or don't play here You dont want to get stuck in the mix

Very average course. Layout is nothing incredible. Greens have some bumps but ran fast. Rough is thick but that could of been due to rain the night previously making it unable to be cut.

The course was in excellent condition even though they aerated the greens 2 days before!! They asked when I made the reservation if I was ok with it. The price was excellent. The only drawback and this is not their fault is when the course is full, which it was, players shouldn't be ball hawking and should be playing ready golf to keep things moving. They did have a starter, so they should have a marshal who keeps the groups moving. It got so backed up we actually didn't finish playing. Again, not their fault, but it's frustrating. Overall very impressed with the course condition, price, the beauty of the course and the enjoyment of playing there.

Excellent condition tee to green. Course offers a good challenge for golfers of all abilities. Only saw the beverage cart twice in our nine-hole round. Pro shop staff and starter were very accommodating and customer focused. We'll be back!

Great course!!!! Beautiful holes and it's very well kept. There are a few challenging holes on the course... just to keep you on your toes. Just keep in mind almost all of the greens slope back to front so playing below the hole is a must. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a challenging course to play

Comfortable clubhouse - fairly open course with medium length. Fairways and rough maintained at basically same height. Green were challenging and fast, although we played after 7-8 days of no rain.

Course was fun and in good shape. We did have a slow group in front of us which was frustrating. After a bite to eat in the clubhouse, we were back to wide open and no waiting. Food was greatand the staff was friendly. We will be returning for sure.

Hosted golf outing there in July, great and very pleased! Adam was great in running it, Chris had awesome food. Staff overall was very helpful, friendly and supportive, from bartenders to drink carts to wait staff. Definitely going back and overall a good course and great for scrambles.

We played the front 9. Most of the holes are straightaway. It is not a long course but beware of the greens. We enjoyed th course, fees were reasonable. The cart return and the exit from the parking lot intersect. Not the smartest arrangement.

We were here for a benefit golf outing and the bar was closed to us due to a last minute party scheduled. This is not the first time this has happened to our outing either. Last time there was a wedding and the bar was closed to our outing group. The course was OK.

Pro Shop pricing BETTER than major retailers and if you make a large enough purchase, you get a greens fee! For a Great course, I might add!

It can be a decent course, I just wish that it being currently remodeled was announced when the tee time was scheduled. Paths are all over the place and it definitely took a little extra time to navigate, especially over or around some of the muddy areas. I've also received lower rates at other courses for them being under construction, and this one did not offer such.

Great staff. Wonderfully designed parkland style course. The challenge begins with your tee shot and extends to your approach shots. You MUST think through and plan each shot. The greens are VERY testing to chip to and to putt. Wonderfully affordable green fees. And, in a very accessible location. A FUN CHALLENGE TO PLAY!!!

This is a fun and challenging course close to home. Rates are reasonable. I have played two times and was able to get a tee time (as a single) quite easily. Fairway bunkers are grass covered and play as rough. Sand traps are still around many greens. A creek runs across a few holes requiring a lay up tee shot for all but the longest hitters.

This is a course that I wouldn’t ever turn down playing. It’s well taken care of and provides challenges for all levels. The difficult shots aren’t made hard through gimmicks, it’s just solid course design. There’s a mix of water and woods to compete with as well as strategically placed bunkers. Here, you can work on all aspects of your game, with plenty of holes for big drives, tricky approaches, and putting challenges. Overall, it’s less about the greens here and more about the play up to them. Once there, most greens aren’t overly difficult. Not gimmes either, but nothing crazy.

This is an optimistic review assuming they finish construction soon, they restarted construction last week but there's still no bunkers or drivable cart paths, they did reduce the fees which helps, overall a good course

We came on a thursday evening to check out the food. We don't golf but we do eat and I was pleasantly surprised to find the food delicious. ( and the beer cold) The meatball sandwich on a fresh toasted hoagie was great and too bad my grandson didn't like his tenderloin sandwich because I thought it was super tender. The only thing better than the food was the price. Hard to find but worth it.

Pretty nice course for the price. I'd recommend it over the nearby Greenfield golf course. Beware of horseflies if you're going in August, they can get pretty bad.

I love the golf course, but they always over book it and then don't have enough people working. Then they have weddings or private parties and you are not allowed in the building. Ridiculous!
