Reviews of Missing Links Driving Range, Miniature Golf, Toptracer, Golf Course Milwaukee
Victoria Seibel
We stopped by Missing Links with our wedding party back in October and could not have been more happy! The owner greeted us all with bottles of champagne on the house which was so kind! He also made sure there were a few bays blocked off in the top tracer area for us to hit some balls. Its so funny to hit a golf ball in formalwear. Everybody was able to get drinks and have a good laugh. I highly recommend if you are getting married in the area! It was a nice change rather than stopping at just a regular bar. We frequent this course aside from our wedding day and have such a great experience every time! I am looking forward to my golf lesson in the spring!!

This was our first time here and it will not be our last! We came with 2 of our kids for mini golf and the course was excellent! We had a lot of fun. Then we had ice cream and sat outside and played cornhole. It looked like there were a couple driving ranges and an executive golf course as well. Really something there for the entire family! Inside there's a bar, pro shop and the staff was so friendly & helpful. Great place! See ya soon!
Walter Chamley
Driving range is open all your round. Nice and easy mini golf course. Outside area has nice seating with a fire pit, Cornhole, connect 4.
Kristopher Holley
Very nice little mini golf course - it is a bit more expensive than some of the others around but you have a chance to win a scoop of ice cream at the end. Course was maneuverable as we were able to bring a stroller for our infant.
Andy Hunt
What a great place run by a wonderful family. The driving range is fun and we really enjoyed getting around the par 3 course. The mini-golf was busy and looked like a blast. And everyone working there couldn’t have been nicer. We can’t wait to come back!
John P
Ridiculously fun times playing winter golf with the heated bays and Top Tracer range. Love hitting bombs into the distance instead of hitting into a simulator screen. Owner seems super cool and makes sure we're having a good time. Hidden secret is in the bar...…the pizzas. Family loves it.
Lucas Hogsett
Fun place to hit some balls. I haven't done the mini gold but lts well maintained and looks like fun. Prices for balls is reasonable and they have a few clubs to use if you don't have your own. Probably want to bring your own stuff though, the clubs are definitely seasoned.
Neil Oestreich
1st time here. Great time. Reasonable prices. Used the top tracer area only. Would definitely return and recommend.
Kelli Fischer
Ive been to better mini golf places but this place is close to home 👍 …
Michael Cherny
Went with a couple of friends and were at the driving range then switched over and sat down deciding whether we should go to the store or play mini golf as we were sitting there we were sworn at and harassed by staff about not paying for mini golf when we never played nor were on the course just sitting in chairs
—————————————————————————
Thank you for the quick response there is no need for the free mini golf rounds we are all in complete understanding that people like to bend the rules surrounding the mini golf course we were just standing there to decide what we should do and then we felt a little pressured thank you for the apology and quick response again it’s really appreciated to see that a business cares for its customers.
Kevin Savage
This place was great back in the day and now it’s even better. The heated bays give you top golf shot tracer which does a great job of tracking your numbers plus you can play different courses. The new bar set up is great too. If they had some better golf balls it would be perfect!! Love this place
Aaron Reckinger
One of the best facilities to hit the range, mini golf with friends, or introduce 9-hole golf. Prices are overall standard. The TopGolf feature and heated bays is a plus, they just need more. If moorland gets topgolf integrated, Missing Links is going to have some competition. Get more heated bays and build out some actual greens (even if they run slow) on the range to get 5-stars.
Timmothy Merath
Fairly simple course but still fun and very well taken care of. The spinners that give about half the holes a unique challenge or benefit are clever.
Richard Wandell
This is a little jewel located just a few miles from my house. The driving range is most excellent as is the staff. Today I played the course and was pleased to see the addition of championship tees. Most of them are elevated and they turn each hole into a signature hole! Believe me when I tell you, this is a game changer for Missing Links. The championship tees are roughed in right now so they still need some work. however, the views are awesome. I'm all in.
Peter Schmitz
One of the best par 3s around. The course has tight greens and great fairways that challenge the short game. One of the perks is that you can get challenged in 45 minutes of golf as opposed to playing a 2 hour 9.
Recommendations:
1. Show up
2. Buy 2 beers
3. Hit a bucket of balls - drink first said beer
4. Hit the course - drink second said beer
5. Chip around a bit
If you feel like living life on the wild side - definitely check out the footgolf course - chances are you'll hit it in the water on hole 3.
Jeff Andersen
Currently under new construction for upgrades. I generally like to go for a short 9 hole short club round and have done so many times. Today had groups of kids ( good idea to get kids playing golf and structuring their time) but I wish I had been forwarded before paying. Played hole 1, skipped #2 as a group was on the tee but not playing(?) Played #3 then waited for 4 young ladies on #4 who were on a slow pace just teeing up. I left and got a rain check for another time.
Looks like a mini golf going in which will be great to take my young grandson.
Chris Rautmann
Have hit balls and taken lessons here over the years, but haven’t played the course. Great place to take the family, or even if you are there to actually work on your game. Heated hitting areas for those cooler Wisconsin days. Well maintained and staffed. Decent beer selection also, which is nice.
Bob Reitman
Excellent! A mini 18 hole golf course has been added - extensive remodeling to club house & their 18 holes par 3 are now two nines.
You now can choose to play 9 or
18. Well done!
Sophos Geroulis, MD
Wonderful place to spend time with friends or family. Owners are very personable and genuinely care about the experience. This is a great gem in the area. Keep up the great work!
William Becker
Nice driving range with turf, grass, and a practice green for chipping and putting. It gets a lot visitors, but seems well staffed and maintained. It is on the pricier side for a bucket of balls (as expected for the area and upkeep). Alcoholic beverages are also available.
I have not played the course.
Robin Lord
Great course & fun to play! Staff is pleasant & always very helpful. Though I have never been in the men's bathroom, the women's bathroom is has always been impeccable. Not certain why a grown man felt compelled to "wet" himself in public vs urinating in a toilet & can only assume this was an alcohol related decision and/or a deep seeded fear of urinating in public bathrooms. Regardless of one very absurd and bizarre review, this is a wonderful faculty and really a great place for kids to learn to golf.
Jennifer Clement
Hands down, THE BEST place to learn, play, and spend time with fellow lovers of golf -- in the Midwest. My son started playing at age 4 (and he's 11 now) and he does it all at Missing Links: leagues, Junior PGA, professional lessons, and of course - rounds with friends on their award-winning Par 3 course. Peter's staff is top notch, and I'm VERY sorry to see another customer's review, because I can assure you that in my 7+ years of coming to Missing Links, I have never has a bad experience with anyone, at the service desk, in the pro-shop, for lessons...at any time. The friends we've made at Missing Links are like an extended family and we treasure having them in our neighborhood. Our son will "grow up" here and I could not be happier with the coaches that will be friends and mentors for all his life. Thank you Peter and team, for all you do.
Scott Johnson
Not only the best par 3 around, but one of my favorite courses ever. Always well kept course, polite staff and well worth the admission to play an interesting and unique course. Me and my golf buddies always make a point to play Missing Links at least 3-5 times a year.
Lindsay F
Missing Links is where I learned to golf! The driving range is open for practicing year round, and includes a variety of grass tees and a chipping green. The par 3 course is probably the most exciting and challenging par 3 you will find anywhere, not to mention beautiful with native Wisconsin prairie plants and lots of lagoons. The staff is top notch and the owner is one of the kindest people I know. Missing Links is a wonderful place to practice golf where you will really feel at home.
steve wanke
Easily the best par 3 I've ever played. No equal in the Milwaukee area. Rolling hills, ponds, and not too many sand traps.challenging, but not to a fault. It plays more like an executive level course than a pitch and putt. Only $10, so do yourself a favor and play a round. it's never even too busy where you have to wait more than 5 minutes to tee off because it plays quick.
Frank Harvey
September 2014, Went back took a second closer look and it is a great little course, hole #8 is longer at 213yds so you can really stretch your legs a little bit and take a longer club selection. The Driving range is great I did notice the brand new range balls which is the last thing driving ranges seem to replace, it makes a huge difference when practicing. The only thing I wish there were yardage signs directly facing the grass tee's so you could gauge your distances a little better.
The greens are in great shape and the cost is great, you really cannot go wrong with the price, it makes it easily to stop by everyday of the week after work and get some practice in and it won't break the bank. I do wish the course was a little longer but you can only work with what you have. I couldn't find a scorecard on the website and I wish there were more pictures for the website so people could see how nice it looks with all the bunkers.
Sometime golfers need to play more than just a few times at a course to really see how nice it is, you begin to see how much you actually like a place, it's now a place I come to about 4 times a week.
Milton Toll
Great par 3 and driving range, also has practice putting and chipping greens.
Mr T Miller
Great staff and great facilities....inside and out. Always friendly and never pretentious. Clean and well kept clubhouse and course. Excellent and welcoming family environment. This is a popular spot to play for a reason. They do things right. Mini GOLF is now OPEN and AWESOME!
Ron Mexico
Great practice course and range, yeah the counter employees in the pro shop and at the counter can be rude at times. A lot of options for practicing and a surprising little course that is a lot tougher than it looks. They could use a new parking lot as this one has a lot of pot holes and ruff spots. I do wish they stayed open til midnight, I would love to come here after work and hit some balls.
Gina Bongiorno
I could not be happier with Missing Links. My son took golf lessons with Coach Phil this summer and not only did he love the lessons, but he learned many valuable lessons from Coach Phil. Not just golf lessons but lessons about focus, listening, and safety. I was highly impressed with Coach Phil's calm demeanor, direct instructions, and careful attention to each child in the class. My son didn't want the day to end so we drove back to Missing Links later in the afternoon, and he hit a bucket of balls. The young person behind the counter couldn't have been more friendly. Great all-around business!
Glenn Grosz
They have upgraded the heated hitting booths with TopGolf like launch monitors. Works great. Hit into the outdoor range then check your stats or play a simulated round. Covid safer being outside.
Randy Kaiser
This is the best practice facility in town. The course is challenging for players of all handicaps. The staff is friendly. Prices are reasonable and the premises are clean. It's a great place to bring the family for a fun day of golf.
Michael Winter
I absolutely love this course. It is great for beginners, like me, but I believe it would still be a fun challenge for experienced golfer. It's just a fantastic course. I've never had anything but a fun time at missing Links.
Mary Spencer
Prices are reasonable. The course is fun (we did 2 rounds!). The staff is friendly.
Geoff Aster
Great 9 hole par 3. Well maintained. Top tracer on driving range for practice and games, mini-golf course and now a bar in the club house! Great additions this summer!
Flower Blueberry
I am rating the mini-golf.
It is very fun and cute. The water fall makes it a very refreshing asset.
WIll go again soon :)

Reply to Mr. Harvey from the Owner Peter Epperson
Dear Mr. Harvey,
Although you sound distinctly like a disgruntled former employee that I refused to re-hire this year -- right down to your word usage -- I feel I must respond to your critique. In fact, I would like to personally invite you to walk the facility with me -- that is, if you have the courage to face your victims in person.
Your very unfortunate review ignores the pains that we take on a daily basis to make Missing Links the best golf learning facility in Southeastern Wisconsin, with brand new range balls, tee mats, and grass tees and landing targets groomed daily. Our success is evidenced by the number of awards we win annually, and the number of golfers we put onto area high school and college teams and into club championships.
As for the tee markers on the course, we credit our past greens keeper with continuing to use the traditional Scottish links markers. Maybe instead of perusing pictures of Pakistan, you should check out some pictures of Scottish links courses. The chalk is rewritten daily to show the adjusted yardages from tees, and our employees try to write in the old Gaelic font.
As for putting money back into Missing Links, in the last year alone we have added a 900 sq. ft. year-round, indoor golf learning addition; a 30’ by 30’ sun party deck; a new 3000 sq. ft. natural putting green, new irrigation on the premium grass tees; and a Nick Faldo-type short game area that includes five raised natural target greens and 80 yards of multi-level hitting turf. We also added brand new carpeting and counter tops in the clubhouse, new wood flooring in the café area, brand new synthetic range mats of the highest quality, and -- last but not least -- brand new range balls! I noticed your review made no mention of the all the beautiful fresh flower pots that are tended daily. My last count was 11 flower arrangements inside and out!
With respect to our scorecards, we ran out of our regular supply of four-color cards mid-summer when our printer failed to notify us that they had gone out of business and were not completing orders. Our marketing intern volunteered to put some together to get us through the summer, and she did a fine job that I will stand behind. In this case, I feel it was more important to support an aspiring student than give the appearance of a hoity-toity country club.
The parking lot is due for a renovation, and I apologize for its appearance. We had hoped to break ground this June with a $500,000 miniature golf project that includes a new parking lot, lights, and landscaping. That project is being held up by some last minute partnership issues that we hope to resolve shortly.
Regarding a fresh coat of paint all over… Every spring you will find us painting the building. I would describe our situation as something akin to a ski resort or hockey rink. When you have over 300 customers a day (a great percentage kids) carrying oversized bags, things get banged up awfully fast.
This brings me to my final comment. Isn’t a driving range really about the quality of range balls, hitting surfaces, targets, service and instructors?? I welcome anyone to try to compete on that level with us. Thank you for your comments. I look forward to meeting you in person someday soon.

Michael Linn
Great course and range! The owner and his staff were incredibly welcoming, making sure I had a cold drink and someone to give pointers on my swing. I will be back very soon.

Fun, fun, fun. Mini golf. Par 3 golf. Parking 🅿️. Bar. Ice cream. Great place. Friendly owner. …

Developed my game here for the last 10 years. During that time I went from a novice 20+ handicap down to a 4 handicap. Staff is excellent, owner always willing to go above and beyond to deliver a superior customer experience. I can't recommend Missing Links enough!

Mini golf, driving range, and short regular golf. Now with bar and grill and great cedar crest ice cream

Nice Driving Range, and fun short game course, good service. However, outrageously expensive for club repair, close to double what you would pay elsewhere.
Hans Tendrup
Great driving range. Has lots of amenities and mini golf. Toptracer is a lot of fun.
Gary Erickson
Great facility with caring ownership. All any golfer would want. Plus they have Cedar Crest ice cream!!
Yves Preston
Great place, I have been there many many times, great place for whole family. Everything you need to sharpen your golf game is there. Clean place and great staff!!
Eric Amenda
Still enjoy the driving range, but $7 for a small bucket of balls, $9 for a medium and $12 for a large is a bit ridiculous. Don’t remember the prices being this high in years past.
David recht
