We held a birthday party for members of our high school class at Ironwood. We graduated in 1970 and we all turned 70 this year - it's time for a party! Ironwood is beautiful. You have a magical 180° view of the golf course with a wall of floor to ceiling windows facing the golf course. Just off those windows is a balcony to further enhance your enjoyment of the venue. The staff was superb and easily handled the golf tournament going on that day and our party. It was beautifully appointed and easily set up for our needs. I would highly recommend renting it for any special event in your life.

I've played here since it was only a 9 hole course! Love the layout, many challenging shots and the Birr had become my favorite 9. I am still amazed at the lack of respect to the course from fellow golfers. I love to make ball marks with a great approach shot, and look forward to cleaning up my ball mark and one more! Apparently many others don't feel the same way!

Even after 6" of rain you could see the Fairways and greens are in good shape. Sand traps took the worse of the rain but they have plenty of sand and I am sure they will be taken care of. A couple of the greens are gimmicky but playable. Overall the course, clubhouse and facility is above average in the area.

The course was in great shape. Very challenging course. Many holes are up hill or downhill. A few holes have water challenges. Overall fun

Driving range is nothing but mud. Tee boxes in very rough shape. Greens and fairways in decent shape. There are other courses for cheaper and in better condition in my opinion. Definitely not worth $70 (including range token and cart), more like $55 to $60 in my opinion.

We used to belong to a local private country club but did not play there enough to warrant the cost. Ironwood golf course in our opinion easily matches if not exceeds the course conditions found in the private clubs. The landscaping with flowers and decorative plants throughout the tee boxes are outstanding. We enjoy playing 9 holes and Ironwood offers three distinct nines. The variety of tee boxes makes the golf challenges fun and varied for all classes of golfers. The courses are not easy but the beauty and layout in the country setting makes for a great day even if your game is off. Best semi-publlic course in Wisconsin by far.

Absolutely enjoyed my golfing at Ironwood last Sunday! We played the Meath and the Birr and was just wowed by the creativity of the design with the different layout of bunkers, hazards and variety of shots needed to avoid them. Really a treat!!

Nice course, great value. Fairly open course that plays quick with minimal hazards. Could be a course with lots of replay ability because as you adapt to the course you can find ways to play aggressively at your own peril.

Great Track. Decent value. Although the price just went up $7 for walking and $13 for riding seniors. Which seniors walk?!? DEFINITELY Disappointed price went up $13 in one season! That's crazy. Good course tho. Played here a LOT last year. Will definitely play other courses more this year.

I do several golf outings here each year, Staff & Mike the golf pro are top notch. Last year I scored the ultimate golf outing prize, a fire pit filled with goodies. I will be back this year for a few outings to try and repeat.

The fairways are in excellent shape. The rough is crazy thick. If you're not hitting from the fairway, add a stroke to every hole. It plays long and hard. Very challanging and well worth every penny.

Have played in several golf outings at this beautiful golf course thru the years and always am amazed at how immaculate the fairways, teeboxes, sand traps and decent greens are as they do a lot of business golf outings and in most cases, courses that do these get damaged due to "duffers" who participate but only play golf that one time each year and inevitably chew up the courses with bad shots as they don't play often and cannot help the damage they do. But a few weeks back and playing in a fairly large outing, my colleagues and I were amazed at how they had the course again in perfect shape They also have an excellent facility for the outings as well with a beautiful deck that overlooks one of the greens and the teebox for another. Excellent under cover bar area and nice seating for post-round drinks and eats that can accommodate large groups very easily Highly recommend this course not just for outings but for individual playing as well!

Just attended the Thomas R Perra 2021 Outing. This was an amazing event. The course was in excellent shape. Their customer service went above and beyond with them making sure we all had a great time. Would totally recommend this course!!!

Course is beautiful and is in great shape other than the duff my friend had on the Birr at 3, might need to hire an outside turf management firm to look at that divot if we’re being honest. Rounds were slow and speeding up the play would make it a more enjoyable experience, but there are some very memorable holes and exciting golf shots to be made. Thank you!

Course is always in good shape. Prices are reasonable. Not my favorite in the area, but is definitely a good course to play. If you have never played it before, be prepared to have some bad breaks, as there are a LOT of blind shots on this course. Birr is my personal favorite.

Golf course in good shape given the lack of rain, greens a little slow but expected without rain. Staff nice, still no drinking water on the course. I know why but think that can go back to normal. Other courses are putting water out and with the hot qed eather it is time to get back to normal.

Very good course. Don’t complain about the rough being long, they will just say don’t hit it there. Bring more balls if you are so inclined. Busy, they have lots of outings there which can take up one of the three 9-hole courses. Great staff and well run.

I can't believe I am the first to write a review....Milwaukee has some of the finest golf I have ever played. I payed $45 for 18 with a cart....The cuts are perfect...the greens are clean...the play is challenging and there are 3 different 9-hole courses to play. Novice golfers will struggle but not fail. The pace of play was great even on a Sunday. The staff was very friendly. Not a bunch of stuffy old bitter men. They were young, polite, and eager to help. Even the local players were great.

The course was great. Got to play all 27 holes. I accidentally left my sunglasses in the cart and I'm from out of town so I called and talked to mike, and he shipped them back to me. Really nice staff and the course was a lot of fun.

Great course for leagues and outings. 3 9-hole courses give a variety of settings with each 9 being a little different. Be prepared for a bunch of blind shots. Try playing with someone who has played the course your first time out to have a good shot at scoring. The course has outings nearly every day, and the league scene is always at capacity. Be prepared to find a bunch of ball marks on the greens. The rough plays long, and the bunkers could use some TLC. Overall, a good value for the price.

This course is on a beautiful piece of property and is maintained very well. The course has some beautiful tree-lined holes and views of the surrounding areas that are unbeatable. However, driving a cart here is hazardous. The paths are not level in many places, and on one hole, I was leaning pretty uncomfortably right next to a pond. Other than the weird paths, it's a great course. Just be careful driving the carts.

It has been a while since I have played here and there is a reason for that. Nice course but I find it to be a bit quirky in spots. On some holes you can hit a great shot in the middle of the fairway and not find your ball! Personally I don't care for 90 degree doglegs and courses where you have to hit perfect precision shots. Maybe that is a testament to my game! The course was in pretty good condition and the staff was friendly. If you have not played it I would say it is worth a "shot."
