The course itself was in fantastic shape and has a hole for all skill levels. Me personally, this is my third course period and my first 18 so naturally I didn't do very well but I had a lot of fun. It gives beginners a chance to use all of their clubs in their bag or the more seasoned players a chance to better their iron game. I'd highly recommend for anyone

Good place to work on your short game, as there are no fairways and every fringe is tight. There is one par 4 and a longer par 3 on the front, but the other 16 holes are usually under 120. It is cheap, even for a county course. Nice setting and a very quick round. If you are teaching someone to play, this would be a good place.

Hansen (golf course) is the best Par 3 experience you can get in the area. This summer I bought the Par Buster pass for all the Par 3 County golf courses, and Hansen is easily the best. They have very well-tended greens, and actual fairways too, which is more than any other par 3 course can say. The front 9 has one par 4 and overall pretty flat holes with a couple lame water hazards. The back 9 is incredible. The terrain is much more hilly and each hole on the back 9 feels unique with tee-offs and greens being in very cool spots for a couple holes. This course is great for the beginner-intermediate players who are looking for a short course to practice and learn golf on. The staff have usually been awesome (aside from one experience), and I highly recommend this place to any golfer trying to get some practice in or learn the game! This picture attached is the scores me and my friend got after playing the back 9. We got these scores after driving there in his 2012 red Ford Explorer. (We are pretty bad, and are in the beginner skill level of golf).

Hansen Golf Course is a very nice par 3 course that can be played with any skill level. For me, it was a great beginner course and a great course to teach other beginners. 18 holes can be easily played within 3 hours depending on skill level. Overall the course was beautifully maintained and fun to play. Recommended: Pay for all 18 holes. $15 compared to $11 and it’s very quick play time

This course is in good shape for a municipal course. It has 18 holes that are perfect for a beginning or intermediate-level golfer. It can get a little busy during the peak season, but if you go at the right times, you can avoid this. There are a lot of bugs on the course during the summer, so bring bug spray!

This was my first time really golfing besides using a driving range and doing mini-golf. First of all, what have I been missing all my life?! This is a great course for beginners like my husband and me and pretty scenic too. I never felt judged by my lack of experience and overall it wasn’t too crowded at the time we went. The price is good enough to want to return too.

Great course at an amazing price! Still under a buck a hole. 18 hole par 3 course with one par 4 on the front nine. A blast to play, especially during the week when other golfers will be minimal. Rather scenic with numerous wildlife seen throughout the year. A pond eclipsing two holes on the front and the Menominee River running through the back give this bunker less course style and a challenge for the less than seasoned golfer. A great way to spend an afternoon, or better yet, midmorning! Glow in the dark golf during the summer..

The course was perfect to work on your short game. You have to be careful since behind many holes are trees and plants that will consume a miss hit ball. 18 holes will probably take the average player 2 to 2.5 hours.

Inexpensive and an great way to work on your short game. All but one hole is a par 3 with a single par 4. 18 holes go fast because the holes are so small. I won't be coming back any time soon. Too small for my tastes.

We we rained out at one course and ended up at at Hansen Park, despite the change in courses. The staff was courteous and helpful, even as just a par 3 course, we had a blast.

Fun course. A lot of beginner golfers and little kids play here expect a slow round. Best time to play is during the week after lunch

A very decent Milwaukee County par 3 course for the mid-beginner. The green were in a little rough shape, but overall and nice quiet course.
