Reviews of Edgewood Golf Course
NEW UPDATE: The owner of the golf course reached out to me to make things right and I have taken him up on his offer. I will increase my review to 4 stars at this point due to the excellent customer service. Many thanks to John and his team for the help. Hope our next visit is positive!

Extremely disappointing golf course; something must have changed over the last 2-3 years with ownership. Played the front 9 on the Oaks course and the fairways looked like rough, the tee boxes looked like grenades went off, and the greens have sprinkler heads in them! What on earth is going on over there.... not worth the $29 for 9 holes and a cart. Absurd. Stay away.
I play regularly at Edgewood. Always have a good time.
Summer of 2022 was rough...they had irrigation pump problems, and a few holes got burned. Things are pretty much back to normal now.
Pro shop (even the fat bald guy ;), bar staff are always friendly.
Agree...food choices could be improved.
Two championship level courses that never disappoint, enjoyable and challenging at any skill level. The greens are some of the better ones in the area, in spite of the dry summer. Improvements are ongoing to keep pace of play acceptable.
My son takes lessons with Kim Freeman and really enjoys it. They are patient, knowledgeable, and have some cool technology to help you really dial in your game. Atmosphere is fun and friendly. Would love to see them expand on the food menu, as I'm not a fan of the roller dog. Looking forward to a fun season! Highly recommend you won't be disappointed!
This is an easy drive from Milwaukee. My wife and I had a blast on the course and experienced quite a challenge on the Oaks Course. An elevated 19th hole was the perfect place for a cold after round refreshment. Great service and smiles from all the staff. Some very cool photo ops as well. We will be back for sure.
2 unique 18 hole courses, each with a forgiving front 9 and challenging back 9. You’ll use every club in your bag!
Great atmosphere. Two very different courses suitable for all abilities. Pro shop personnel very helpful. Overall a great experience.
Great golf courses two excellent 18 holes, great clubhouse, great staff
The clubhouse and pro shop were pretty decent and the staff were great. Played the oaks 18. The course was pretty fun overall. It was hard to find the back 9 and the course was a little rough in some spots. Dont think you can beat a golf course having 36 holes to keep things moving.
Well kept up. Challenging. Well signed so finding the next tee box is not a game.
A little gem in the middle of nothing.
I golfed there the other day and the staff is outstanding 👍 can’t say enough about the great cart guys …
Great course. Medium length. Drink cart was there every 3 holes for us as requested. Tougher course for less than avg golfers but fun none the less. Nice clubhouse and sale items like apparel and equipment.
Loved the Oaks course. Back 9 is beautiful and the front is no slouch either. Will definitely play when we visit Wisconsin again, this course is a keeper. Wish we lived closer.
36 holes that are kept up pretty well. I usually stop here after work in the summer and get a quick 9 in. The prices are reasonable and the holes are challenging enough where it doesn’t get too boring. Not much for food, just some hot dogs and sausages on a rotisserie as well as usual snacks. They have a good selection of beers in the bar as well as with the cart girls. Overall a nice place which is why I keep coming back.
Great Course.
Great staff....
Bar cart girls only one per 18 and they stop early - so pace yourselves.
I attended the TaylorMade Demo Day today and it was a great experience. This looked like a pretty major event with lots of people, but everything ran smoothly from the time I checked in through finalizing my purchase. My TaylorMade fitter (Tommy) helped me choose a great set, and John and his Edgewood staff were excellent as always. Thanks to everyone involved, I can't wait to play with my new clubs!
We played the "Pines" nine and we really enjoyed the layout. Extreme elevation, plenty of water and some difficult holes made for a challenging but fun game. Condition were excellent given the huge amount of rain we received this year. I will play this course again and recommend that you do to.
Staff all great, pro shop , bar staff , cart girl , all friendly, and very informative, great course , it outstanding shape !!!
Nice course. Great staff and friendly people.
This is a fun course to play. Has two 18 holes. Conditions are good. Rates are reasonable. The only thing I do not like is that there are rocks in many of the sand traps that can Nick up your clubs.
2nd time golfing here. Course is well maintained good technical difficulties. However, they don't serve Mike's Hard Lemonade. LOL, but not funny. I don't think I've ever golfed without it.😕 …
Nice golf course, would absolutely go play again. Greens were in nice shape, couple holes sit pretty low and can get soggy after rain but don't hit it over by the water and you're just fine
The course is well run and John in the pro shop is awesome. Driving range, putting greens, and a great bar. Two 18 hole courses help move golfers along. Overall a good value.
This course has got some good deals and a great variety of holes, There's a few areas (mainly on the Pines Front Nine) where you feel like you're on a municipal golf course and then the next hole gives you a Scottish feel. And there's some other holes on the back nine of the Pines and the front nine of the Oaks where you'll be having a hilly experience and then you'll get a lot of water like southern Florida golf courses. I'd definitely come back here. The Oaks back nine is a must play
Playing the 2 courses, (The Pines and The Oaks) right after Thanksgiving, was a great pleasure! Beautiful country setting with lots of big hills and long, challenging par 4s. I am looking forward to playing there in the summer!
Well kept, and course is well maintained even with substantial amounts of rain. My kiddo take lessons here and the PGA pros are top notch. My son loves the lessons and learns a lot.
Oh man oh man - 36 holes, built in 1969 - family owned and operated. I love historical - old style designs, let you shape shots, the hole is right in front of you - great fast greens - there are not enough O's in good to describe Edgewood.
Ice cold beer with my Angus beef burger - how can it get any better? I tell you how - they have a price guarantee deal - outstanding. And for Yankees, they treat us Texans like we are family.
My first time at Edgewood and only played the Pines front nine. But love the layout, and the staff are very nice. Can't wait to play it again, especially on a warmer day when the trees are in full bloom.
One of top course in the southeast Wisconsin
The course is always in good shape if it's not flooded for a couple of holes the hot dogs are good the drinks are good that's a pretty fair price
Loved this course. Definitely different than most courses in the area. Challenging and beautiful. Played the oaks and enjoyed it a lot. Will have to try the pines!
Had a great time ....corse is in great shape
Nice course. Good challenges with the different dog legs and traps. The sand traps and greens could use some attention.
Nice day, good friends, a lot of bad golf.......priceless!
Fair price for a nice course. Definitely reccomend a cart as some holes are spaced out pretty far.
Nice golf course. It spans Forest Home and they have a tunnel under it so the golf carts can cross without dealing with traffic.
Great coarse lot a fun to play well taken care of. I will be out there again this year $35 + a cart for a weekday.
Edgewood Pines course was a really fun time. The course was very eye apealling and intriguing. Not every hole is the same and I like that.
Staff friendly over all. Crazy group ahead. It w as s a round that felt like 5+ hours but was 4 1/2.
Got some good top from the cart girl on hole 14 off the blue tee box. Will come again!
great course for a decent price. challenging all around, well maintained, with many difficult greens.
Great course hills ,water and challenging bunkers. The scenery is beautiful !
I wish they told us when we left off the tee box how muddy it was but it's a nice course as long as the wind knocked down the mosquitoes
Greens were in pretty rough shape. Divots everywhere. Other than that, a very nice course.
Oaks back nine was a beautiful course. Course is in good shape.
Good people, not crowded, decent condition
Great golf course. 27 holes. Reasonable rates
The gentleman in the proshop was very courteous and helpful. Keep up the great work!
Greens were in very good shape this early in year. It's a nice lay out.
Very good shape. Greens are great, fast. Nice layout
Very nice set of courses. Love the island hole on the North side.
Overall good course. Few holes with too much water on the fairways.
Much dryer than I would have thought after rain. Great people and place
Affordable with great views around the Fox river. Up keep is alright
Enjoyed the course. Great covid practices.
Very playable course. Even after all the rain
I love Edgewood but it's always underwater
Nice course, to wet. Fox river sucks😊 …
Well maintained course at a reasonable price
