Nice level course. Well groomed. Easy to Medium difficulty. Minimal fee honor system. Pay at pay station located near the first Tee. Parking on road right next to Disc Golf Course. Pins and Tees can be seen from the roadside, are easy to locate, are at varied distances offering various challenging levels of difficulty. Great for beginners to practice and work on their skills as well as intermediate players that want to hone their skill set and want to practice and prepare for more challenging courses or any upcoming tournaments, local or otherwise. In a nutshell; it's a nice comfortable course, in a nice park where you can enjoy nature as well as enjoying your game without feeling the pressure that is sometimes encountered when playing more popular courses in the city, state or country. Go ahead. Give it a try. It's a great sport. And this is a nice course if you are looking for an exciting and desirable new challenge. In my opinion, Disc Gulf is a wonderful, active sport worth falling in love with. I did.

A very beautiful course, course was a little soggy despite not having rain in the past week. They staff was very friendly and got us on the course quickly. I will say there was no bev cart and I'm sure being the end of the season their supplies are dwindling but they had 5 Miller lites in the fridge when we teed off and 11 came back to buy some but they were now out. Overall one of my favorite county courses and as I said was very beautiful, would recommend going her the course really makes you think as you can't just swing away like other courses.

For a city course, this is probably one of the better ones. Staff were really nice when we held a tournament here. By far the fastest greens during tournament time & played it fair for the field. The layout was manageable with some demanding holes but also generous ones. Would definitely come back to play the course when in the Milwaukee area.

Beautiful 18 hole disc golf course with 9 new holes. Only played 18. $5 course charge. A good mix of tunnels and open shots. Can't wait to play again.

The county has a 18 hole course with an additional 9 hole course across the way. It's pay to play for $5, and well worth it. Most of the holes are interesting drives with long approaches for many players. There are three pin placements that they must alternate through during the season. Most of the course is open, but when you do run into the jungle, you'll find the trees and bushes nicely open as you search for discs.

Great course close to home. I went here on at about 3pm on a Saturday afternoon and there were only about 10 cars in the parking lot. There weren't many people on the course. It is a very nicely kept course and a very good size at around 7,000 yards if I remember correctly. The fairways are wide with trees lining most. There are more hills than I expected with where this course is located. I signed up for the resident pass and will be here regularly as I only live about a mile away.

A hidden gem. Immaculately kept. The holes are long with just enough trouble to keep it interesting. The greens are some of the best I've ever seen. A challenge for the established golfer and a great place for the newbie to learn what real golf is.

Awesome disc golf. Pay the $5 to play because the park and maintenance deserve it, because you are an upstanding person and should not play for free on a beautifully groomed course...and also because the park ranger did walk up and ask to see our pay stubs.

Great golf course for the price! Challenging to the average golfer, but still fun for a low hdcp golfer. The course is always in great shape for a municipal course that sees a ton of play. Driving range is ok, but if you are just warming up before a round it is just fine.

This review is for the driving range. You have to go to the golf club house to get balls. They give you about 50 in a yellow mesh bag for $6. You then need to drive around the corner to get to the driving range. It is right next to the first hole for the 18 hole disc golf course. The range is on grass which is nice. It is not flat so it may be hard to get exact distance, but the markers out in the field were close enough for me.

Love this Disc Golf Park, it is challenging and it's an over all great layout, if in the area this is a must, but make sure you pay the 5 bucks, you will get stopped

Great Disc golf course! It has 27 total holes made up of an 18 hole and 9 hole course- can be combined methodically to do all 27 in order based on the map.

Eh, par 3 700feet holes up hill aren’t fun for beginners. Maybe change the pars per hole location? Or just update them in general.

Hit or miss county course. I've been here when it has been in great shape and when it's been awful. It's built on an old ski hill so there's a lot of up hill holes.

Dretzka Park is often called the mecca of Milwaukee Disc Golf, even though a couple of the other county courses are more challenging. It is the oldest course in Milwaukee County, and has 27 holes open from May through November. In the winter months the golf course hosts part of the winter disc golf course. The way the holes are set up if you want to play just a quick 9 you can, if you want to do a classic 18 that works as well, and on a beautiful day that you want to soak it all in and play 27 you certainly can. I have spent many afternoons making memories by myself and with friends, it often feels like home with family when at Dretzka park. Lately it seems the county has been removing all of the ash trees in the parks because of the Emerald Ash Borer. I understand the impact of this pest as I have a degree in horticulture and have been informed about this bug since it's first arrival in the mid-2000's. It can be devastating to our local trees. With the removal of so many trees at the park it is making the course wide open, and not as challenging. I do sincerely hope the county has a plan to re-plant for what they are taking away.
