Reviews of Long Run Golf Course
Denis BeiterI’m giving this course 4/5 stars for real world use. It’s super friendly, no pretense, space is almost always available for driving range and chipping green, and the price is right. Large bucket of 95 balls is $12, nice wide fairways, new carts. In the realm of golf courses for the beginner to enthusiast golfer, Long Run Golf Course is worth visiting.
Thomas LardnerClubhouse in great shape customer service was outstanding. Course in fine shape would be excellent except for the slightly sloppy mowing of the fairways. Metro parks crews who mow need to be better trained.
Kenneth BesserFairways are the worst in the 15 years I have been playing there. They have not been cut in 2 weeks and are as high as the rough in places. Everything else gets cut regularly but all you hear is excuses on the fairways. I like the course but lack of care on the fairways is a head scratcher.
Cubs BaseballNice driving range course is in decent shape. They just need someone to mow the grass. cheap and not to hard recommend you playing if you like golf
Joseph WilliamsIt's a long track but it's nice Rondo benefit he is a awesome gentleman shake his hand if you get a chance humble guy down to earth
Steve AmbsOnly used the driving range with a large bucket for $12.00. The new tees haven't been opened yet. The current tees were beat down and no grass to hit off. Hard to get decent iron hits off the dirt.
Doug KingCourse is in very good shape. Good pace of play. Impressed with how far it's come so far from what it was years ago. I'll be back.

Lee WalkerGreens are in great shape and good speed. Tee boxes and fairways need work. Better mowing to distinguish between the fairway and the rough. The fairways we're too long and the roughs not good enough. They need the groundskeeper back from 2 to 3 years ago.
Gene KingLooks like the city is trying to get this course in shape. The Driving Range needs alot of improvment where you hit balls!The greens seem to be in good shape. Fairways are slowly improving. Hopefully they can get the course in good shape and they should not have an issue with golfers wanting to play. It is a challenging tract on the back nine. New Staff seems to be very friendly. As of September 26 they have now built a new driving range and it looks great. Just finished laying the sod and should be ready within a week or two.A true plus for this area.The driving range could use some work now that is open. They keep it too wet and it is a struggle to hit irons.
